Crkva brvnara (wooden church)
Dub, Serbia
Dub is a village in the Zlatibor District of western Serbia in the muncipality of Bajina Bašta on the Drina River. The church, dedicated to the Ascension of Christ, dates from 1792. It was constructed by Serbian carpenter builders from the adjacent Osat region in Bosnia. These craftsmen were recognized for their architectural skills, techniques and carvings and traveled throughout the Dinaric Alps and further east. Many historians recognize these Osaćanska (or Osećani) master builders and refer to these wooden buildings as Osaćanska structures.

Am I the only one here who is so damn angry about the fact that a large portion of the Slavic representation on the Western media is either Russian, Russian-coded (e.g. the Grisha Universe by Leigh Bardugo) or copies the narratives about other Slavic nations that exist in the Russian discourse about them?

guys you dont get it. when konstrakta (serbia) is singing, here she doesn't say "i am left on my own"
she says: "nemam knjižicu"
in translation:
i dont have health insurance
idk why they mistranslated it when the point of the entire song is about unattainable health, including healthcare system and its problems and privatization
