Early in the clown fandom, Rufo the Clown had taken stage for some of us and people got to see and know of the other horror clowns in the genre.
And other wonderful writers in the genre.
Rufo, amongst other popular characters such as his rival Jonathan Crowley, was created by the man, James A. Moore. I am very happy to say I got to know James a bit when one day he took a peak into the fandom world and had seen his murderous clown had a good number of fans. Fans who were creating in all sorts of ways.
James loved nothing more than to see people write. To tell a story. To see their work come to life. He had such a delight seeing everything that was made.
In the unfortunate news, James passed away March 27th from his battle with cancer.
I would love nothing more than for more love and passion for creativity to be shared and spread out. If you can, find his work and support it. He wrote over 50+ stories not only for horror but mystery, Sci fi, and even aided in comics and tabletop games. He had many books of collaborative pieces with other authors and friends.
James and his work meant very much to me. I had gotten into writing from the Pennywise fandom, but when James told me he liked my work, that's what kept me going. To know the man I admired and writing gave me chills had enjoyed words I created, which has lit such a spark in me that I will make sure never goes out. He had inspired so many, and I hope he will continue to inspire for future generations of authors.
James, you will be dearly missed. I wish there had been a chance for us to meet, especially waltzing into the horror cons you'd go to as your clown, Rufo. I know I wouldn't have been a very tall Rufo, but that's the hoot of it. Maybe one day I will still be down the years from now. We just have to wait longer to get to meet.
Rest easy, my friend. Gray skies are gonna clear up ❤️🎪🩵
I just had to draw Bill from @ckret2's incredible ongoing fic, "Wasting Away Again in the Goldilocks Zone"! I've read a lot of fics since getting into Gravity Falls earlier this year and this continues to be one of my top favorites, I really recommend it!!

Earlier today at Lindy Point in the Blackwater River Canyon near Davis, West Virginia. The morning was blustery with the tattered remains of storm clouds racing across a vibrant blue sky. For about fifteen minutes, I had this place all to myself. I wanted to sit on that ledge all day and be mesmerized by the clouds traversing the canyon and distant mountains. Then the tourists arrived with their kids and I had to get on with my day.
Now that i know that Fords VA (jk simmons) is a pretty good singer, cant stop thinking abt bill one day randomly finding out Ford is actually a stupid good singer

"While dodging the feds as The Alliance flexes its power to regain control, the crew faces a dilemma.
Another plan to assassinate the Prime Minister is in place, and the crew realize they'll be blamed no matter what goes down, with nowhere to hide.
It's time for a change in plan - one that none of them care for."
