the kingdoms ; my indulgent sprawling medieval fantasy world with no plot. includes fantasy politics, diverse cultures, conlangs, and a large cast of lovable fiends mostly centered on the terakk continent. never officially on hiatus; it's been my blorbo world since i was thirteen and i think about it all the time.

long live the queen ; a regency-adjacent royal murder mystery. it's five years after vallera's civil war, and tensions are still running high. when the queen suddenly dies, her oldest daughter believes there was more to it than simply illness. themes of grief, familial bonds, loyalty, coming of age, politics, arranged marriages, and what it means to be a just queen when all you want to do is protect your siblings. disney but gay ; shamelessly inspired by reinaeiry's but it's gay covers. disney retellings where i try to draw more from the folktales themselves and everyone's sapphic. things i love about this series: sleeping beauty is a dream-sharing soulmate au, belle has anxiety, snow white and flora are exes, and the beast's name is amarante after patricia mckillip's "lady of the skulls". Ever travelled through hyperspace for so long it makes you wanna fall in love with the enemy- They are just practising on their sparring pffft. Initially supposed to end in fluff but I wanted to add in the angst for fun because wolfwren,, also Shin is def the easily flustered one between the two and you cant change my mind.

Extra unfinished page: I actually did wanted to end this comic on a lightsaber fight following a talk based on that scene of Sabine trying to chase after Shin. Since there wasn't enough space sooo have at it, Im just gonna leave it here for now (planning to work on some Ahsoka and Sabine!!). OH shoutout to ao3 writers and wolfwren artists that inspired me to work on this,, thank you for feeding my delusions with your gorgeous gorgeous works!!

funny that every time people said they wanted Loki and Mobius to be a couple because then it would be a nice representation for the queer community, there would always be some dudes crying “why does everything have to be gay?”. please describe ‘everything’. under Disney’s reign where 98% of their projects center around heterosexual relationships, please do tell me in what world you live in that ‘everything’ Disney is gay. and please also tell me which part of people’s wanting a gay couple, that is also the main characters of a big Marvel series, for once, means they want to get rid of all heterosexuality and make ‘everything’ gay. please look me in the eyes and say it’s not y’all who want to eliminate anything homosexual when all people ask for is just good actual queer representation that’ll make their community feel seen.

first up, names. aurora is aurore because they’re originally french. and pippa is a diminutive of philippa. also pippa is nonbinary with they/them pronouns. they still use feminine titles such as “princess”.

aurora's song “once upon a dream” is what inspired this entire series and what makes this story a soulmate au — specifically, a bond in which aurore and pippa share dreams. it’s still up in the air whether they can speak in the dreams or not, because they can’t share identifying information but need to be able to share their respective situations about betrothals. maybe they figure out enough gestures.

a betrothal between princess aurore and princess philippa of neighbour kingdoms was arranged at their birth, and both grew up knowing this. they weren't supposed to meet until aurore's seventeenth birthday to be certain the curse would not take effect.

pippa never wanted a soulmate, knowing that they could not be together. alas, fate had other plans. both soulmates knew the other was promised to someone else, but they were unable to share any more details. and so they cherished what they had, but knew one day they would have to part.

they believed they were a tragedy. little did they know the truth.

Guys I cannot stop thinking about Percy Jackson season three because of, you guessed it, Nico.

Like first of all, I am very curious on how they're going to handle Nico's sexuality. I wonder if Rick is going to try to make Nico's crush on Percy more obvious in the show version since he didn't/couldn't do that in the book. Hell I also wonder if he'll have some Nico and Will moments? But I don't know how far Disney is gonna be willing to let him go with that. So, yeah I'm excited and a little bit nervous to see what they do about that.

But I'm also just really scared for whoever will be casted as Nico. Like Walker already has plenty of creeps so I'm really nervous for Nico's actor. I'm also terrified that fans will force the kid into a Kit Conner situation. Like the actor for Nico is gonna be 9-12 years old, no one should have to go through shit like this especially not anyone this fucking young.
