Do you have any headcanons for the Servamp characters?

Kinda?

I don't know if it counts, but I did have the thought that there's a few characters that if you handed them something soft and squishy (like a plushie), they won't let go of it. If it was yours, now it's theirs. If it was one that was handed off while searching the shelf for a different one at a store or something, congrats, you're now buying two instead of one. (I think Licht and Tsubaki would be bad for it, like not even realizing that he's still holding it but still won't give it up kind of bad for it. Kuro would use it as a pillow. Lawless would do it for funsies, and I think Tsurugi would start by doing it for funsies and then end up clinging to it like his life depends on it. Nicco would have a death grip on that thing and you'd feel bad for trying to take it from him.)

I firmly believe Gil and Ray have a game night every week, and I'd say most of what they play is board games. There's like 4 people invited max: each other, Wrath, and Wrath's Eve when she has one.

There are probably more floating around my head, but I do not have access to them at the moment

Aaahhh in that case!!! I have two manga recs for you! I love them both dearly and I wanted to put them out there, even if you end up not reading them- Hope you don’t mind!

- The first is called 07-Ghost! It’s kind of a religious fantasy, if that makes sense? Like, they take Christianity, turn it on it’s head, add in death gods, and then run with it. It’s one of the first manga I ever read, so it’s very close to my heart, and all the characters are just,, So good, IMO. Especially the protagonist… Teito, my beloved son. I don’t wanna spoil too heavily if you do end up reading, but it has dark backstories! Brainwashing! Cool lore! Borderline canon romance between the protagonist and his best friend (and then another friend he makes)! Cute as hell dragons! And also probably some men you’ll add to your harem, heh.

- The second one is called Servamp! It’s about vampires based on the seven deadly sins and and shadowy organizations and pain and suffering, but it’s mostly about one specific pair- The sloth pair! The human of the two, Mahiru, lives by the idea that simple is best, but that also means, to him, doing things others don’t want to do so that they get done, helping someone or something in need so you don’t regret or feel bad about it later, and also general housework… The fandom likes to call him Mamahiru, it’s great. His partner even calls him a housewife to tease him! The vampire, who has two names (I’ll use Sleepy Ash because it sounds cool!), is very lazy, borderline a NEET, who’s addicted to instant noodles and games- He also hates making decisions for Important Backstory Reasons and has a Cool Coat! Also there’s a fox guy in it, if that helps.

It's a early fall morning. The light crisp air. The faint rays of sunlight. It would be lovely if it wasn't for the rich smell of coffee. Or the tender sore spot of the various bite marks on his shoulders and neck. Licht felt a little embarrassed on that fact since they were also with the other Eves and Servamps. Mind clicking into gear, the young pianist rolled out of his bed. He wanted a bit of revenge.

Sliding into the main room, Licht ignored the "good morning" from Mahiru. To be honest, Licht didn't really hear him, much less see him tidying up the coffee table. No. His focus was on the spikey head of blond and brown. Hyde's back was turned to him. It was the perfect opportunity.

Teeth in skin, Licht paused at the noise that his Servamp made. What the fuck? Glaring up at Hyde through his hair, Licht took not that Hyde was staring at him with wide red eyes and very bright oink cheeks. What the fuck?

"What the Hell Lichtan!?"

"Don't ask me shit rat! You made it weird!"

"Oi! Isn't it to early to be fighting!?" Mahiru barged in, his black fluff ball of a Servamp perched on his head. This was the start to a typical Monday morning with all of them...minus the biting.

Personalization Prompt #2 – Ghostie

So, from the reader appreciation day of the event, I used the second personalization prompt for the talented Ghostie! She’s always been really supportive of my writing, does amazing stuff herself over here at @rebornologist if anyone isn’t following her, and I hope she’ll enjoy!

BLACK: what face claim from an anime, comic book, or cartoon do I associate with you?

Okay, so this one was a little hard because there’s a couple face claims I could possibly use and I had to narrow it down to the one I felt fit you best, as you exist in my mind! And that one, as seen above, is Nana Osaki! She has the colouring I picture you as having and the style seems to almost fit if you toss some more pastels in there along with the punk/goth aesthetic!

WHITE: what flame type and box weapon do I think you’d have in the khr!verse?

Oh, this is another hard one. I definitely see you as someone with the potential to use multiple flames, both Storm and Cloud flames, with Cloud being your more dominant flame type. As far as box weapons are concerned, I see you using Cloud dragonflies. Again, I’m basing this off spirit animal symbolism, with the symbolism behind dragonflies being change, transformation, adaptability, joy and lightness of being, and them being a strong symbol of the emotional realm and a connection with nature. That, and using Cloud’s propagation abilities, it’s really damn cool to imagine a swarm of colorful, shimmering dragonflies being used either as an attack or as a barrier.

RED: what aesthetics do I associate with you?

Alt fashion. Well-manicured hands delicately shuffling and then dealing tarot cards. Pastel colours. Low ponytails. Red lipstick. Experimental art and industrial spaces. Converse clad feet striding purposefully down crowded city sidewalks. Colourful Teacups. Late fall evenings slowly ticking away into the witching hour of early morn. i want to know more about your ashford island AU/designs

Late response, Im so sorry! I haven't checked tumblr in like, at least a week???

Thank you for the interest! Ashford Island got started from a short fic I wrote with a prompt from one of those prompt blogs, but that specifc fic has now been deleted since I developed the AU so much that the fic was no longer canon compliant.

I have a blog specifically for the AU at @ashfordisland but whats on there is just reblogs from my art blog and what fics are posted on AO3 so far(which you can read if they interest you!). Some info on that blog is also a bit out of date and needs to be updated but I haven't worked on the AU for quite some time. It's not abandoned tho, I just haven't been focused on Servamp lately so I haven't had any interest in doing so for the time being.

Anyway, for a proper explanation, it's called Ashford Island because the Servamps live on an island called Ashford Island. There's also a bit of confusion involving the fact that the town they live in is also called Ashford but there's a city on the island north of them called Sigford. Theres lots of lore around that tho. But the Servamps live there, but theyre all actual half siblings who share a father and instead of being vampires, theyre all undead humans that were turned undead by their father. Theyre stuck living on the edge of town in the same house that Sleepy Ash grew up in and none of them really know why he turned them undead or what his goal for their entire lives has been, so thats one of the major mysteries that keeps popping up.

The storyline is supposed to span over several hundred years starting from the founding of the town on the island, but so far everything Ive written only cover a very recent 20 year time period. Theres still a lot I haven't written basically. But we got Sleepy Ash meeting and falling in love with Mahiru; the origins of Kuro, Ash's cat, and Gil and Ray as half humans created in an experiment by C3; Tsubaki getting used to life with his new siblings and how he starts meeting the rest of the Melancholy gang; and there's also Lawless and Licht meeting, but I need to finish my rewrite of that one. And all of thats not even touching on the mess that is the Aliceins, the C3 war that created the city of Sigford, and the stories that happen independently in Sigford itself.

Theres no real defined protag either, even if it looks like it's Sleepy Ash. It's one of those worlds where every person's story is important and plays some kind of role, even the characters that aren't one of the siblings. Whoever's the focus of a fic is the protag at the time basically. There will however be a final plot point that brings everyone and everything together, but for now thats very far off from happening.

Gil and Ray

Don’t know about the fusions name yet but is probably one of my favorites I made so he’ll be coming back with a full body soon

Now some small info

Out of all the Fusion he’s one of the most stable ones

A very self-assured person

He has a very deep love for cooking even for them Ray



Tsubaki and Mahiru

As I can see it the only way for them to fused is it’s forced or they both have no choice(kinda like jasper and lapis when they fused)

Despite them being enemies I can see them being a kinda stable Fusion more on the unstable side

A bit more serious then Tsubaki but more hyper then Mahiru

They wouldn’t use Singular pro nouns when talking about them selfs they would use “us” they/them as there still unstable
