I love reading this crew's interpretations of Anne's secret brooch code, mostly because they're always so different to mine (and the entire fAnnedoms i'm presuming).

Like this brooch I had always thought to be a Tim reference, right? (I'm sorry if im going over old ground, i just want this to be true So Bad 🤭)

Two fish = pisces, Tim's starsign. I'd argue that the turquoise gem looks more like Aquamarine which is the birthstone for March = Tim's birthstone. The heart shape is self explanatory = they are the sweetest human beings to ever exist and their love for each other knows no bounds.

I'm not denying the Ireland connection, Anne has worn it mostly when there's an Irish link, fair enough, absolutely makes sense, also when she's worn a teal outfit, but God almighty, can we just allow for a little romance??

On his visit to the Oban Peace and War Museum on 20th August 2024, Sir Tim Laurence wore Untouched Worlds Cassum Half Zip Sweater in the colour Turtle. President Barack Obama was pictured in the Oval Office of the White House in 2014 wearing the jumper too!

He was gifted this, along with coordinating gloves and a hat, after a visit to Untouched Worlds factory during his and Princess Anne’s royal tour of New Zealand in February 2023

Princess Anne was gifted a luxurious Kapua Wrap and Mountainsilk Half Zip jumper as well

Hmmm, if I pick from my T-shirts, I've gotta say my black shirt with the outline of Spiderman climbing the shirt in red. The red spiderman part is like a felt/seude material that sticks out of the shirt. My favorite shirt used to be my brown/teal plaid shirt. That one has a long story. It was so worn out that the elbow had a huge hole. But I can't find it right now 😔😔

Juuro le pregunta que por qué

Yomi le dice que tanto el "odori" como el "dance" tienen la misma idea en mente, y que ese baile parece que le sienta bien

Juuro le pregunta que dónde aprendió a bailar

Yomi le dice que la cafetería donde trabajaba tenía un salón para practicar baile en el primer piso, y que él de vez en cuando iba a ver

Juuro entra en modo tóxico se queda en silencio, y Yomi le dice que solo estaba observando, que POR FAVOR no se ponga celoso

Juuro entonces se disculpa, pensando que fue muy infantil

y mientras Yomi le da consuelito, dice que su cuerpo se siente mejor, y piensa que ya está bien confesar

le dice a Yomi que tuvo un sueño al amanecer

un sueño del verano pasado

dice que a menudo sueña con los fuegos artificiales de ese día, y que esa mañana se le ocurrió un poema bastante bueno

un poema que quiere que solo Yomi escuche, y que escribió en un papel antes de que se le olvidara

Yomi le insta a continuar, y entonces Juuro hunde su carita en su hombro, no porque estuviera cansado, sino porque no quería que lo viera sonrojado

dice que es difícil de decir, pero que tiene que decirlo

le dice a Yomi que depositó el poema en el buzón, y que para la mañana del día siguiente debería llegarle

Yomi le dice que "envió el poema desde casa... a la dirección de su casa", y Juuro le responde que "de mí para ti", y entonces Yomi se sorprende

que cuando Yomi leyera la carta seguramente se reiría, y que el solo imaginarlo "le daba ganas de bailar"...

Yomi se vuelve a sorprender, y Juuro le dice que por esa razón, se vio 'tentado' a bailar en el camino de regreso

que cuando vio a alguien bailando, fue cuando aparentemente comenzó

Yomi entonces menciona que ha escuchado hablar de un fenómeno ocurrido en Europa llamado 'peste del baile'

que era una enfermedad infecciosa que hacía que aquellos la contrajeran bailaran hasta la muerte

Juuro se pregunta que por qué hay algo como eso en Japón

Yomi le dice que no sabe, y entonces Juuro dice que debe ser una coincidencia

Yomi explica que la razón por la que no ha dejado de bailar, es porque sus sentimientos de felicidad "explotaron"

Juuro le pregunta que si no es una enfermedad, Yomi responde que no, y entonces Juuro dice que es todavía más vergonzoso

que si al menos hubiera sido un baile de salón, hubiera elegido sus palabras y se las hubiera susurrado cuidadosamente sin tener que estar jadeando

Yomi frota su mejilla contra la de Juuro como para consolarlo, y le dice que gracias a que no sabe bailar, él le está enseñando

y que aunque le gusta que le enseñen, parece que también le gusta enseñar

sopla una risita inocente en el oído de Juuro, y le pregunta que si ya memorizó los pasos

Juuro dice que un poco, y entonces le pide que practique solo por un rato

Juuro le pregunta que a dónde va, y Yomi responde que va a salir un momentito

Juuro no quiere que se vaya, y pone más fuerza en sus manos

Yomi se ríe y le dice que a él también se le ocurrió un poema muy bueno

que lo va a dejar en el buzón, y volverá inmediatamente

Juuro se queda en silencio, y Yomi le vuelve a repetir que va a regresar muy pronto

Juuro dice que Yomi lo hace sentir ansioso, pero recuerda que también es quien lo hace sentir aliviado

y en el momento en que aflojó las manos un poco, Yomi se convirtió en humo, y se fue dejando una sonrisa

Juuro dice que cuando eso pasa, ya no puede seguirlo

se queda solo con sus manos agarrando el aire, y entonces empieza a recordar el ballet del anciano y el latin dance del policía que vio esa mañana

comienza a trabajar en unos nuevos pasos de baile para sorprender a Yomi cuando regrese

prendió la radio mientras se meneaba, y justamente estaban pasando una rumba...

Descripción del Kaijuu

la idea de este kaijuu fue de alguien con el seudónimo de "Renri"

y la explicación de Roboco dice que su sensación es la de una toalla mojada

merodea alrededor del pueblo de Seijou, y es un kaijuu que amplifica las ganas de querer bailar

al oler el sudor de una persona infectada, tú también te infectas

hasta ahora no había causado grandes problemas, ya que los síntomas desaparecen cuando la persona se queda dormida por el cansancio de estar bailando

pero en esta ocasión, Yomi fue a darle una amenaza advertencia por haberse entrometido con la sorpresa de Juuro...

como tiene una habilidad interesante, no ha sido "erradicado"...

I mean I dunno about plans. My brain is always doing a lot of the thinking about fics (mostly due to @paniniseller's stellar inspiration 🤭), but unfortunately there's just not a lot of the actual writing of the fics happening.

I'm still trudging away with the one that actually has a story to it, but fuck me if its no exactly that - a trudge. At the moment its standing about nine chapters long - which I know is not a lot, but it is consdering I really only want to write chapter 4 but I know I need the surrounding chapters to really make it pay off.

So I know that is exactly what is putting me off, I knew it would, but I fancied doing something outside my comfort zone. (Terrible idea, don't recommend.) That and the feeling that nothing I write will ever be quite as neatly tied up in a bow as chapter 1 of Evenings nagging away at the back of my thoughts. But I'll get there. The horrors persist, but so do I etc etc.

Something plotless will wiggle its way into my brain eventually, I'm sure.

Cheers for asking tho, its really appreciated that there are people reading what I've written. Even if that is a totally wild concept to me 🤭 🫶🏻

(Please don't send me any asks about writing something involving Anne and APB because I just cannae do it, Captain. I'd sooner write APB hitting on Tim than that combination. I just dont have it in me, I'm sorry)

DnD campaign misadventures

I rescued this thread from my non-defunct twttr detailing my last campaign in DnD, because it was probably the best things I ever posted on there. So now it’s going on here.

Tonight in DnD, my character crit failed a stealth check and fell down the stairs, spilling ball bearings everywhere. #smooth

However, the adrenaline rush resulted in a series of 20s in combat. #stabby

2. Last night in DnD adventures, we smashed a frozen half-man half-bull creature that bequeathed us a key from its remains.

Me: looks like it's a musical one.

Me: it was a key in A minor-taur

3. Tonight in DnD adventures, after killing a couple of piscine-type jailers, we found a scared human in a cell. To put them at ease, @abbynormal0ne put her hand in a skull like a puppet and went "HELLO! DON'T BE AFRAID! WE'RE NICE PEOPLE!"

Surprisingly they were not reassured.

4. Tonight in DnD adventures, we stab a rapier into this guy that makes a gurgling sound akin to the apex of the bit in a certain song by The Trashmen.

"Looks like.. blood.. is the word."

5. Tonight in DnD, @abbynormal0ne summons a mammoth-type creature and I jump on its back while we're murdering the sahuagin sea creatures. It crit fails while trying to skewer one of them, breaking its spiky, natural weapon.

"I guess he wasn't.. up to the tusk."

6. Last night in DnD, the last sahuagin, bloodied & battered mutters "mercy". I ponder this, before firing a crossbow bolt through the back of his throat. "Looks like no mer-sea for this chap."

@abbynormal0ne, exhausted, wiping fish flesh from her face "I think he wanted mercy from your prattle."

7. After losing half of my health to a lightning strike from this dragon, I jumped on the back of the scaly bastard and shanked them.

"Now who's doing shocking behaviour."

We'll be having dragon bbq for weeks.

8. Tonight in DnD! We were in an asylum, trying to get info from a surly orderly. She was not forthcoming. And even less so when I asked "is there like a merch shop where I can get one of those natty white jumpers?"

9. Tonight in DnD! I have to disguise myself bc I've gone back to a place I'm wanted. And not in the good way. @abbynormal0ne suggests a costume. I acquire a hat of disguise.

DM: what do you look like now?

Me: This incarnation of Demis Roussos! Right down to the glitter boots!

10. The other night in DnD! @abbynormal0ne asked a shopkeep for a particular potion, seud in blue. Amazingly they had two of them. I took them and put in my footwear for safe-keeping.

"Don't step on my blue seud shoes." I warn her. She asks the shopkeep for a poison. I'm not sure if it's for me or for her.

11. Last night in DnD! We get asked by the big cheese of New Seaton if our party has a collective name...

12. We decide to rescue some slaves from a sinking ship. We are attacked by a big fuck off shark that takes a decent chunk out of my torso. Ouch. "Can I just fey step back onto my boat?" I can.

"TTFN, you pointy-teethed dickhead!"

After one round of shooting at this chompy bastard. I finally find a use for my two-handed trident and full of gusto (the name of the wine) foolheartedly jump BACK into the water, stabbing the shark like a mad vaulter.

"This will surely fin-ish you off!"

It did not. Whoops.
