╰┈➤ Lex's note: AHH, here's the post, oh god. based off of THIS ASK !!! i'd like to preface by saying yes, this will be a bit ooc for him. This is MCU, Loki Series!Loki, who is the God of Stories! I'd like to hope that he still stays mischevious still, so I tried to keep a bit of both personalities!! Also added some backstory for context !!

Uni was hard. Your lectures were hitting that stage where content was 'less fun' and more soul-suckingly 'boring'. Your latest assignment had thrown a spanner in the works of your mental sanity, and you were a few more minor inconveniences away from committing some sort of crime.

Kidding. Kinda.

What you hadn't expected was to be blitzed into some sort of gap in space and time after your friend begged you to come assist them with some help on their Physics experiment. "Science is fun", they said. "Helping your friends is the kind thing to do", they said.

Not when their janky little machine blasts you into a pocket that seemed to avoid space and time completely.

The Avengers had solved everything. Thanos was dead, the snap was unsnapped, this shouldn't be happening anymore... right? You were terrified, clutching your bag like a safety blanket as you stood on some invisible force, watching the space around you seem to shift between an endless loop of different colours and morph- the glittery mass swirling like liquid stars- or like a bad trip.

"What the fuck..." You whisper, prepared to scream, cry, throw up or lie down and die. Probably all in some order.

"You, there. How did you find this place?"

A voice that seemed to come from all corners of wherever you were, and also nowhere at once, sounded out. You flinched, whipping around again to find a strange handsome man sitting on some strange tree-like throne, wielding greenish vines that seemed to appear around you, branching out everywhere and whatnot.

"Are you speaking to... me?" You point feebly at yourself, amazed you're still conscious at this point.

"No, I'm referring to the nothingness of space and time. Yes, I mean you, mortal. Who are you, and how did you enter this place?"

His green eyes bore into yours, and bile rose in your throat. His tone made you falter, like a deer in headlights as your brain conveniently decided to shut down and restart. He couldn't be real. Why was he here?

"Oh my God... you're-" Your revelation seemed to amuse him as his eyes crinkled knowingly, the corners of his lips twitching up.

"Yes, little one. Loki, formerly the God of Mischief and Prince of Asgard. Now, I appear before you as the God of Stories."

꩜ Telling him about your world! :

After you both get over the fact that you both are coexisting somehow- Loki is still partially convinced you're part of something called the T.V.A or whatever- you end up sitting down on one of the roots of the tree, blinking up at him like he was some immaculate, divine figure. He so totally is. You figure the best thing to do is wait for your friend to undo what they did, so you end up telling him about your world. He's familiar with Thanos, and the timeline of his so called 'death'. He asks about his brother, and you watch him with a deep sympathy that feels almost useless. It's quiet for a long time, before you offer to show him a picture.

"Would wi-fi even work here?"

"Doesn't your device contain it already?"

You blink up at him, supressing a pained sigh.

"... Are you kidding, or... ?"

He, with a dry hum of amusement, nods for you to unlock your phone, and strangely enough it works. You want to ask how? but his look tells you that it would probably hurt your brain. So you relent, and show him pictures of his brother most recently from social media news pages.

"Everyone is kinda... gone now. I mean- ever since Ironman..." You trailed off, and he nodded, his gaze softening slightly as he beheld his brother. You felt almost awkward, wanting to give him a moment to process this before-

"He looks fat."

"Jesus-"

♫ Telling Loki about music, and educating him on artists:

You take it upon yourself to show this man music, after you had shown him the internet of your world, catching him up to date with all the important news and such. You made it a very good point not to scroll too far down in case he noticed something titled 'HEADCANNONS, DRABBLES AND WET DREAMS I HAVE ABOUT THE SEXY, MISCHEVIOUS LOKI LAUFEYSON-', instead questioning him on his music and artist knowledge. Sylvie had introduced him to what you both recognised as 70's and 80's hits, and you sent a silent thanks to whoever 'Sylvie' was. But you decided to catch him up on some of your personal faves- Mitski- neither of you spoke for a bit after he accidentally pressed 'Class of 2013', Mac De Marco, Lana and most importantly:

"Laufey. She's Icelandic and Chinese- and it's pronounced LAY-VAY. Like, Laufey. I just thought it was funny, cause... Loki Laufeyson, and Lau-"

He's already ogling you like a three eyed, two head sprouting, bat-winged monstrosity, but as soon as he hears the name, he shakes his head with an irritated grunt,

"There is no relation, nor will there ever be a relation. I am the God of Stories. I hold multiversal timelines between my fingers- I am seated at the throne of destiny. And you're asking me about some mortal like I'm supposed to... care?"

"Um. Okay." You smacked your lips together, cocking your head to the side with a hand on your chest as you search internally to find the words for a response without losing your life to a multiversal deity.

"So... I don't like that tone, first of all. Second of all, I just want you to listen- Just listen to her-"

Don't you notice how

I get quiet when there's no one else around?

Me and you, an awkward silence.

Don't you dare look at me that way-

You fed him her melodic song, your eyebrows raised in disbelief that he would be so dismissive after you brought out the big guns, and he listened to it, feeling oddly stimulated from this entire encounter. He was handsome, of course. But more handsome when he was quiet, when you could see his brain shifting and while you could see the way his eyes flit around in microscopic shifts, processing the sounds as they progressed.

Soon it finished, and he watched you, glancing down at the small phone, before glancing at you again, trying to find a response that didn't make him seem like some desperate lonely hermit.

"She isn't bad, for a Laufey anyway."

"Dude-"

"God."

"God-"

...

"How would I obtain this to have? Just... playing idly."

The smile that split your face was almost creepy with how wide it was, and he had to squint, looking away from the radiance and delight you emit.

"She's got more if you wanna listen."

People die, and habits die harder. But nothing could remove the pride and preening personality this God has. He wasn't an idiot. He had noticed some of the 'links' and images and strange looking messages regarding his name and face that were almost cleverly hidden on the page you showed him, and he relaxed knowing that people still worshipped him in other timelines. As they should. But nothing could prepare him for his first edit.

"What does that say- No, no don't show me, I just want to make sure you understand what that means."

Have you ever wanted to make a God go absolutely insane because of you? Well you'd be in luck. The wrinkle that creased his smooth forehead was not small by any means, neither is something else he carries, and he had to take a moment to process what he had just heard you say.

"It's a term of- it's a phrase of... endearment!"

"'We're going at it until Ragnarok happens?'" He echoed, voice almost hitching as he tried to maintain control of his facial expressions. How much time had passed? A few seconds? A few days? He was starting to wonder how much more of you he could take. We'll get into that again, later.

"'Till I remember the veins and twitch patterns?!'"

"Okay well, you didn't need to read that one-"

He scanned the comments again, the screen hurting his eyes- and his heart, but he did it anyway. Deep, deep down- in a small, lonely part that wished he wasn't stuck on a throne of Yggdrasil, he felt something of amusement. A peacock showing off his feathers.

A small, impish smiled curled on his lips as he sat back in his throne, exhaling slowly, thinking. Calculating. Watching the way your eyes greedily absorbed the sparse clips of him in New York and Germany.

"So... one billion people enjoy me saying 'kneel'?"

"Oh, don't start-"

"I'm simply thinking, mortal. Don't fret your pretty little head over it."

A/N: I really really wanted to write a small thing for Natasha, so here we are. I set this in a 2012ish era, which is why the Avengers live at the Tower and such. I might do something more with this Reader and their powers in a future story as well.

“Hey, Nat,” you greet the red-haired Avenger with a sleepy smile. “Early morning, huh?”

“Good morning, solnyshko.” Natasha smiles back at you, handing you a cup of tea. “I should be saying that to you. You look like you’re still half-asleep.”

You laugh and rub the back of your neck, taking a sip of your drink. “I feel like it. I dunno how you can do early morning missions. I feel like shit.”

Natasha just smiles and pulls out a seat for you at the table.

You’re a former SHIELD agent. One of Barton’s old teammates. You’ve known Natasha since the day she joined.

Now you’re an unofficial member of the new team. The big team. You deal with the remnants of SHIELD for them and they help you train your powers.

You don’t have anything really special. No magic or anything. But your light powers come in handy for making illusions and you’ve been called in several times to help out with Loki when he comes to Earth. So all in all, you’re not complaining.

You take a seat at the table and enjoy the bits of morning you have. You’re leaving in an hour and you want to savor your last moments with the team.

Well, the members of the team who are up. Cap comes in before his morning run, but doesn’t stick around for long. Tony passes through briefly to grab a cup of coffee. The others, you know they won’t be up for another couple of hours at least.

So you enjoy your morning with Natasha. It’s been a while since you and her chatted, and you enjoy the conversation.

Eventually your time is up.

“Wish me luck,” you tell her with a wry smile.

She laughs and gives you a fond look. “You’ll do great. You’re our best, after all.”

You laugh at that and head on out.

Your return isn’t nearly as happy or cheerful.

The mission was a failure. Despite your best efforts, your target got the jump on you and shot you four times. You’d barely made the journey back, your wounds bleeding profusely.

By the time you’re sent to the medbay, you’re woozy with loss of blood. Your steps are sluggish and you lean against the wall for support.

There’s a voice calling your name. Then arms sliding under you, scooping you up.

There’s hair as red as blood brushing against your face. And then your eyes shut.

When you open them again, you’re in your room at the Tower. Your body aches like hell, but you can feel all your limbs.

You shift your arm, your muscles groaning in protest. Still, you force yourself up a bit, before a hand on your shoulder stops you.

“You gotta lie down.” It’s Natasha, looking rather tired and weary. “Doctor’s orders.”

“Fuck the doctor,” you mutter, trying to get up further.

Natasha gently pushes you back down. “Not the time, solnyshko.”

You don’t resist further. Instead, you sigh and stare up at the ceiling. “The mission failed.”

“It wasn’t your fault. We had bad intel.” She toys with the sleeve of your shirt. “Our inside man was a double agent.”

“Still. I could’ve done better.”

She gently flicks your forehead. “Don’t play that game. You did what you could. Getting shot like that would put anyone out of commission.”

You look at her. At her red-as-blood hair. “Even you?”

She smiles faintly. “Even me.”

It makes you feel a bit better and you nod. “Thanks.”

She leans in and kisses your forehead. “Always.”

A yawn overtakes you and you groan softly. Natasha laughs a little. “Go back to sleep. Your wounds need time to heal.”

You yawn again and nod, letting your eyes close. “Goodnight, Nat.”

Her fingers find yours and she gives your hand a light squeeze. “Goodnight, solnyshko. Sweet dreams.”

fgkfkg okAY I just feel bad that in the brainworm inducing Taki Fuego dynamic, all Canon Convos and Artwork I’ve highlighted have gravitated around Loki and Tory together as just a duo, just cause it’s always Tory that gets these deep impassioned emotional conversations with him. Yes Maci appears in these upcoming comic updates but still this is fully accidentally the EeL & Tory show. The OoC reason for this is….. partially bc I write both Maci and Loki and there’s only so much talking to myself I can do lmfao, but the In Universe reason is genuinely that Maci is just NOT the person to go to to have impassioned emotional conversations with, she just is NOT. Maci is absolutely full of love and affection!! emotional maturity is not under that umbrella. But but but!!!

Like, aaahhh she’s here too don’t forget she’s here too, in fact dare I say she’s absolutely integral to the entire dynamic as the person who sHOVED THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE, and eagerly lit the fuse that ignited all three of them BUT particularly EeL and Tory to bond. ‼️And she ABSOLUTELY is just as obsessed w EeL as Tory is and absolutely loves him as much as Tory does‼️it’s just that HER love language is more along the lines of,,

I like your Thor meta. Do you think Thor was abusive to Loki in Ragnarok?

Thank you so much anon! So I wanna preface this by saying I did really like ragnarok. I did think parts of it seemed ooc and didn’t feel the same as the two og Thor movies, but it made me laugh and that’s all I can really ask from a marvel movie tbh.

So to answer your question, tentatively no. I don’t think Thor was abusive to Loki in ragnarok and while parts of their relationship/the way they act with each other was exaggerated/flanderized, I don’t think that he was abusive. My reasoning is under the cut because this got longer than I thought LOL

The first thing I see that around ragnarok that frames Thor as abusive is the heightened use of violence towards each other (eg thor throws things at Loki, aims mjolnir at him). While this dynamic isn’t present in the previous movies, it’s also matched via Loki’s actions (eg stabbing Thor in the snake incident, not helping Thor when he’s forced to fight in the arena). Additionally, it doesn’t seem like these thing actually affect/hurt Loki in any way. In avengers 1, Loki literally dropped Thor off the helicarrier (idk if the name is right, I haven’t seen the movie in so long) and stabs Thor, and it’s not like these things severely injure Thor in any way. If we frame Thor’s actions as abuse, we must also frame Loki’s actions as abuse as well. (To all of you that are like “Loki was under mind control”, 1) intention does not change the action, he still gets hurt and 2) even after he’s released from the mind control, he never bothers to apologize)

Secondly, I see people talk about that scene in the tunnel where Loki attempts to reach out to Thor and he doesn’t bother to engage, and personally, I see that as very reasonable. Thor asks if Loki is actually there, sees that he isn’t, and that shapes the entire interaction from there on. In Thor’s pov, Loki hasn’t even bothered to visit him in person. Additionally, it hasn’t even been a day since their father died, which Thor directly thinks Loki is responsible for (rightfully so, since Loki has exiled Odin for years, perhaps making any condition he has worse and unmonitored). Thor does not believe that Loki is reaching out for real. Loki isn’t even reaching out to help him get back to Asgard and stop Hela. Whether or not Loki is genuine in his attempts to connect with Thor, Thor doesn’t believe him, and he has no reason to either.

Besides this, Thor explicitly brings what he’s mad about.

“What would you like me to say? You faked your own death, you stole the throne, stripped Odin of his power, stranded him on Earth… to die, releasing the Goddess of Death.”

Whether or not Loki is responsible for all that, Thor is allowed to be angry. And he’s allowed to act like that. And when he does, Loki gets angry in return and tells him that he hopes he gets hurt in the fight tomorrow. Both of their words here are childish. But only Thor is called abusive? For having a human response to a very complicated situation involving lots of feelings?

When Thor does try and talk to Loki, he does not actually communicate either. He explicitly distances himself by telling Thor that it’s better if he stays on Sakaar. Which brings us to the elevator scene and what comes next:

This is the part that I see the most meta about how Thor is abusive and is manipulative. And honestly, I think while he might be hoping that the reverse psychology works, I don’t think he explicitly tries to manipulate Loki into doing anything.

To me, I think at this point, Thor sees that Loki is trying to bait him into an argument and does not want to indulge that. Loki is the one who tells Thor that Odin’s death will bring them apart. Loki is the one who says he wants to stay on Sakaar. Thor can see that Loki wants Thor to beg him to come back/help him. And he doesn’t want to fall into that same pattern. Thor is right, it is unhealthy, and it’s not one that suits either one of them. Loki is trying to remove himself from the relationship and Thor lets him. It’s not abusive or manipulative, I see it as a genuine moment where Thor tells Loki that he loves him (aka the thought the world of you comment) but he’s not willing to engage in the same dynamic anymore.

And finally, there’s that obedience disk thing. Which, honestly, seeing as Loki was about to betray Thor and sell him out, is not the worst thing Thor could have done. I don’t think that it affects Loki that much, because he does show up looking fine in the end. I’m not saying it’s not a dick move of Thor to electrocute his brother. I’m saying, in context, Thor could have easily killed him to stop him from betraying him. And he doesn’t.

(Also l see the get help scene called abusive because apparently Thor not listening to Loki about whether he wants to do it is abusive? 1) it’s a comedy scene and 2) he does say “do you have a better idea”)

Idk I think that Loki and Thor have a complex dynamic that wasn’t translated great in ragnarok. But I don’t think it was abusive. I think that, yes Thor does act childishly in certain scenes and if he was thinking rationally, he could/should have realized that it wasn’t Loki’s fault that hela was unleashed. But this is not the first time an odinsib has blamed the other instead of their parents (aka Loki blaming Thor about the whole jotun thing instead which is its own discussion).

Really scares me that there are people who believe that Sylvie fought the TVA because she wanted to save the world of a fascist organization (she bombed several timelines in the second episode) and not for her personal revenge, these are the same people who say that Loki was not OCC in the series but they believe that makes sense the God of mischief to make and leave the breakfast in Sylvie's bed in their little cabin in the middle of the woods living in complete peace, harmony and inertia.

Her fucking crusade caused her to torture someone. On purpose. With full knowledge of what it would do to her. I don't wanna hear shit from her fans about what a "hero" she is for standing up against the TVA. Two wrongs don't make a fucking right. It's no different from Loki's constant betrayal and murder attempts at Thor and Odin; yes, they did you wrong, but committing genocide and rejecting Thor's obvious love for you isn't gonna make you feel better or right the wrongs that were done to you. Loki's arc is about moving past his own bullshit and seeing that he was a worthy man all along and he could be more than the villain he thought he was. The series just shit all over any potential for him to learn or grow or even just survive through the TVA's bullshit as well as hers. She did nothing but abuse him the entire time. That's not "uwu enemies to lovers", no, that's someone with fucking Stockholm Syndrome. Nothing about their interactions was likable, organic, or true to his character. I personally don't even consider this version of him to be a real Loki. His reactions from episode two onward were OOC, imo.

I truly believe that Loki is capable of love. We've seen that he is from everything prior to this bullshit series. And it's sad that we're never going to get an in-character Loki with a love story that he deserves. We deserve to see him in a romantic relationship where he is respected and treasured and challenged, like any good romance. I think that's the biggest insult of all with the Loki series--that we had a chance to see Loki in a capacity we haven't seen before and they completely botched it with this abusive bat-faced shrew bitch. There is no love between them; just bad writing. God help us all when season two comes out and we have to sit through another deluge of delusional fangirls insisting Mary Sue Sylvie is a girlboss and Loki is her malewife. Gag me with a chainsaw.

“AI” Characters

I’ve spent the last four days several hours playing around with that character AI chat site. Let me just state for the record that it’s not true artificial intelligence It’s more like highly condensed cream-of-infinite-monkeys soup. So far I have:

talked theology with Lucifer Morningstar and he’s temperamental and hell bent on being evil (kind of ooc, imo);

been named elf-friend by the king of Mirkwood;

traveled with the 9th Doctor and told off an alien for being sexist;

met Toothless the dragon (who seems to be dog software running on cat hardware);

Talked with Captain America, who took a little while to warm up to me.

Made Loki three omelets. What! He was hungry!

I’ve got to say, it’s been hella addictive. It scratches a creative itch for me in that it’s like a cross between “Choose Your Own Adventure” and a string of very small writing prompts. You can choose which of a few to several answers (whose quality can vary widely) to respond to, or go with the first one you’re given (which is how I wound up getting stabbed out of existence with a hell blade).

The ethics of using AI for anything are murky. There’s just been a ruling in my country that says that AI produced art can’t be trademarked (which is good in that they won’t generate big profits for people who stole the source materials the programs were trained on). There’s no way to acknowledge the original creators of source works. There’s the question of what you leave out being just as important as what you put in. (How many Black elves were in the LOTR movies and how awful was the fandom outlash when the Amazon series had some?) As someone said of chat-GPR, the genie is out of the bottle because people, and by extension businesses, are already using it to write memos and ad copy.

I don’t know if there can be ethical consumption of AI output. The tech-bro industry really doesn’t think about this kind of thing, because they really don’t care about the ethics. It’s all about “disruption”, by which they mean “displacement”, and revenue extraction.

THE JUNE FULL MOON

All things have been quiet so far, since the most recent murder nothing has happened, at least not for the general population of Fenrir’s Wood. The strange lack of Magic continues to happen, whenever the next Full Moon nears, several Witches find they grow weaker for several days before coming back to full strength, as if something is seeping them dry. And as it does: the Empty Spots - which have continued to be off-limits to the public - have continued growing. Not in size, but in power. The vacuum in some feels far more pressing, the power in others can be felt from miles away. Every Witch can now exactly tell where they are, even if the mists were to return, even with their eyes closed.

Odin’s Tree is still the most powerful place in the whole of Fenrir’s Wood thanks to the ritual of the May Full Moon. But it merely stands as something to fall back on now, as a power to tap into when the next child of Loki appears.

Or it was supposed to. The shift was felt throughout the city, even by humans, though they experienced it more as the release of pressure, as if a summer storm was upon them, but no storm came.

And then the static, laying bare all technology using waves once again. Followed by a loud thundering crash, the police scramble to keep the public from entering the Lord’s Wood on the night of the Full Moon.

Ooc; this is a two-part event. The first part is surrounding the Full Moon, the static, and the loud crash, which will slowly be revealed in the coming week. i've been REALLY into Loki lately, and sometimes I ponder what would happen if he came into contact with a GenZ reader.

let's say, we're doing cool degree and we worked on a uni project that was a bit too cool, and it landed us right where he hangs out (in the middle of fucking space and time :O)

So naturally, after a whole bunch of story-building and context (blah, blah, blah):

i think he'd be very amused by Gen-Z reader. He'd hate our slang, he'd be very stunned by our interests and hobbies, and more importantly, i think he'd have a really interesting time coming to terms with such things like mental health.

"There is a big green man i know who also wears glasses and tinkers with mechanisms. Is he also with autism?"

"... Do you mean The Hulk?"

"Ah. 'Hulk'. That big troll, yes."

You blink up at the raven-haired God, trying to wonder if his prettiness can excuse what he just implied. It takes you a bit, and you feel like you have to manually power your brain to work, like starting a lawn mower.

The MCU had its problems in previous phases as well, movies like EG or CW or Ragnarok didn't do a good job of handling their characters and some of them had them either completely ooc or retconned (and in CW's case the conflict wasn't well established and the resolution didn't stick the landing).

I think perhaps what's happening now is a mix of too much content in a short period of time, new characters introduced who don't earn their powers or compete with the OG characters accompanying them, and terrible third acts that don't give a satisfying conclusion to the story and seem more concerned with selling the next product.

I don't particularly care about what these movies and series are leading to, if they want to add a teaser in a post-credit scene I'm cool with it, but I'm watching these because I care about the characters. The Loki series had the entire finale dedicated to introducing an antagonist for another separate movie! And Shang-Chi instead of giving us a good resolution between father and son they spent the time fighting a huge dragon. Those mistakes are huge.

I don't want Feige to tell me all this will get better once I see the full picture. I want it to be better now. I need the studio to give me good character arcs and stories enough to get me glued to the screen because I care about what happens to them. That's how I felt in previous phases, even though I didn't particularly like some movies I cared about what happened to Steve, Loki, Thor, Stephen, Carol, Wanda, Bucky, Natasha... as it stands right now I'm dreading what's coming next because I don't know if it's going to be good or terrible.

That's another thing, its lack of cohesiveness. I don't really think you can judge all of Phase Four's content equally. WandaVision and Moon Knight are fantastic (oh, and I highly disagree with the OP in the video that the story absolves Wanda... it doesn't!): they're brilliant character stories, the arcs are well done and the ending is satisfying (all this is subjective of course). Whereas the Loki series is absolutely terrible on all fronts, TFATWS sidelines its title characters and misunderstands them, What If was a huge letdown (except for ep4, everyone hail ep4), and Hawkeye started weak but it got pretty good in the end.

As for the movies I'm a huge fan of Black Widow and NWH, but MoM was pretty awful (cameos galore!), Shang-Chi is entirely forgettable (in fact, I hardly remember anything from it), Eternals would have worked better as a series (too many characters, but it wasn't so bad) and... oh right, I had forgotten L&T. Fortunately.

All in all, in the past they cared about the stories they were telling because they wanted to hook the audience, now perhaps they feel they already have us so they can go cheap and take us for granted. Well, I don't know about you but I used to be one of those who would go several times to the theatre to watch these movies (my highest # is 5) but now I'm thinking of skipping them. Wakanda Forever and GoTG3 are sure on my list because I like Coogler and love Gunn but the others..... not so much.

I really want them to get better at this but Feige keeps hiring Waldron and I just... it's hard to keep the faith in them.

When I started planning out this fic, there was ONE THING i knew was going to make it in here, and IT WAS THAT SCENE. I wrote it years ago. It was the opening to a completely different fic where Thor was found after being kidnapped in a warehouse after he was missing for several months, and it was raining and we knew something horrible had happened to Thor but we weren't sure what.

I actually played around with Thor just showing up in Wyoming when I was having a lot of formatting problems, but ultimately, I wanted to stick with the original vision. So!

born in america - mobius was born to a muggle family and during the earlier years of his life, everything seemed to be normal, happy and well. he’d always been a curious child, interested in anything and everything, which his parents nurtured. however, when it became apparent that he had magic, that was something that freaked them out a little bit. he did then find himself in england when his parents moved over for work - which happened to be just in time for a letter from hogwarts to turn up on their doorstep. this wasn’t something that they were particularly happy about but mobius was going whether they liked it or not.

in general, he was a somewhat reserved and quiet kid while growing up, his curiosity to learn and know more taking presidence over exploring who he was as a person. of course, that all comes with growing up and getting older, all part of the experience. and during his 5th year, while studying for exams, he found himself developing quite the soft spot for a fellow slytherin student who soon became his boyfriend. relationships might be just a normal thing, not such a huge revelation but for mobius, it was a big thing for him to acknowledge and accept a part of himself that he’d perhaps been hiding from. and when wanting to share his news with his parents - things didn’t go down well. long story short: ties with them were severed and he chose to stay true to himself rather than try to make them happy. this relationship, however, came to a messy end in their 6th year when he learned that loki had pledged his loyalty to the death eaters, which felt like such a betrayal to him.

after this and after hogwarts, as well as being part of the order, mobius buried himself in work/obsessing over it. anything to keep the mind busy.
