SOLOMON’S MOMENT OF GLORY

The greatest—and most memorable—moment of raw power in Nightbringer is when Solomon stood in Belphegor's way with a smile, only to shield MC and calmly ask, “and you think I'm not?”

When the first confrontation took place in one of the future's timelines, MC was unprotected and crushed to death as a result, but it felt so nice to have someone hold tight to MC's hand in this second face-off with near-murder.

That scene evokes a feeling of warmth, gratitude and pride; pride since, even though Solomon is the most powerful sorceror in history, he's still human, and the idea of a human being fearless before a demon—an angry demon who's one of the Seven Rulers of the Underworld, nonetheless—is just...oof. The confidence, the bravery...so very admirable.

Solomon is already so easy to love, but that moment makes one respect, love and admire him even more.

Imagine Barbatos pining for you in every sense of the word

Stealing glances your way when he knows he should be focused on his work. But he can't help himself, and becomes lost in your visage until he's dusted the same vase three times over.

The way thoughts of you occupy his otherwise trained mind at the most inconvenient of times. He knows it should be shameful of a butler to be allowing his mind to wander so, but somehow, he doesn't seem to mind.

How he's dedicated your smallest mannerisms to memory and adapted accordingly; he places your teacup at the perfect angle, noting how you tend to blindly reach. How you wrinkle your brow when you concentrate, and he hides his smile. The way the corners of your mouth upturn ever so slightly when you eat something you like. He'll prepare it more often.

Those moments when he removes his gloves and the bite of cold air comes to greet his skin, and he wonders how the warmth of your hands would feel pressed against his own. Would you mind how chilly they were? He hoped not.

I got inspired by that one Manga panel that I saw.

Mammon has a lot of bad habits but his favorite one is feeling the need to touch you. He loves the way his scent is always lingering on your body because he has been hugging you. Mammon is enamored with the way his hands fit perfectly with yours and it's always comfortable to hold each other.

He couldn't acknowledge it at first,he thought it was normal since "yer my partner of course i want to touch ya!" Seemed like something normal to him and everyone. It was normal but not like this.

How could he resist the urge to feel your warmth? He needed to hear your heartbeat, listen to your voice, smell your blood, feel your body by his side. Those were normal needs for a demon.

And who were you to deny the demon what he wants?

You always gave in to the biting,the scenting, everything he did to feel you was perfect.

He was perfect when his eyes turned darker whenever someone's scent sticks to you, he was perfect whenever he asked for permission to touch you and he was more perfect than anyone when he said "Thank you,love" after he scented you back with his smell for everyone to know that he is yours and you are his.
