ok I just noticed looking through Bulbapedia, that Oshawott can have Aqua Cutter bred onto it. Hisuian Samurott can have the new ability Sharpness as its Hidden Ability, which would power up Aqua Cutter.

But Hisuian Samurott can only be obtained in Legends: Arceus. Evolving a Dewott in Scarlet/Violet will only ever get you Regular Samurott (still cool, but no Sharpness ability).

So I wonder. When you transfer a pokemon into Legends: Arceus its moveset is adjusted automatically to match what the game knows, but if you transfer it to Sword/Shield from LA it changes back. I know it keeps EVs and other changes stored separately, but Has anyone tested to see if this allows pokemon to retain the EXACT moves they had before LA rewrote their moves? Specifically, do they keep Egg Moves?

It may be a convoluted process but I think I deserve a Hisuian Samurott that knows Aqua Cutter, as a treat.
