Hey, love your blog 💗Random q: if you’re into tv shows what’s your top 3?
LOOOL omg okay this is vague question. because you could either mean like REAL hollywood production stuff or like anime. i'll give you both haha. EXTREMELY LONG list of my favorite american shows (reality TV included) and some of my all time favorite anime. read below if you're interested. it's a lot. buckle up.
well for actual TV shows (like american produced i guess) i really enjoyed American Horror Story, my favorite seasons were season 2 (asylum) it's about a spooky asylum with nuns possessed by satan/demons and a bunch of other messed up villains. Jessica Lange CARRIES this season with her incredible acting.
Tumblr media
another actress who i LOVED in season 2 was Lily Rabe, she plays the possessed nun (her character is supposed to be an innocent nun but she gets corrupted) and she's super badass while she's under control by the devil LOL. like amazing acting, she's just pure femme fatale and is a perfect villain that you actually WANT to lowkey root for because she's so cunty. UGH. i remember getting my life from her. this entire season is carried by these two characters.
Tumblr media
and you didn't specify if you wanted regular TV shows or reality TV shows, but i am a huge reality TV fan! i'm gay/bi so i absolutely LOVE watching rupaul's drag race LMAO. season 16 is the most recent one that just finished airing, i absolutely loved every minute of it, the show is just endlessly entertaining and showcases queer people in such a vibrant and fun life that would make straight people jealous HAHA. but it's a show for everyone obviously, as long as you enjoy drag queens and expressing yourself and stuff.
Tumblr media
and another reality TV show that i enjoyed was "flavor of love" it's a reality TV competition show where a bunch of women from the 2000s were competing to win the love of "Flavor Flav" who's this rapper who's like 65 years old now. LOL. it sounds crazy but this show was HUGE back then, and the breakout star was a contestant named "New York" but her real name is Tiffany Pollard and i LIVE for this woman, lmao. she's so iconic and has the best quotes ever, she's regarded as a gay icon within the queer community. VH1 loved her so much that they made a bunch of other spin off shows featuring her in it, just look her up on youtube haha.
Tumblr media
i wouldn't say these 3 shows above are my absolute favorites of ALL time but they're definitely up there! just can't think of anything else, and they're my recent hyper fixations.
and i'm not sure if you're an anime watcher/fan but my favorite anime of all time is probably an anime called Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. it's literally regarded as one of the best animes of all time, you should watch it if you haven't already. i got a tattoo of it because i want to remember it for the rest of my life LOL. IT'S SO GOOD. without spoiling it, it's like action/adventure/brotherhood with some philosophy thrown in it. i think people often belittle anime/2D animated stuff but this show is a masterpiece. 11/10.
Tumblr media
second anime TV show i recommend is Death Note, it's another iconic anime you should watch. to summarize the plot, a death god (shinigami) gets bored one day and drops his "death note" (a book that allows you to kill ANYONE in the world if you write their name in the book) and a really smart student named Light Yagami (main character) picks it up after his class in school. and he decides to use it for his own good, trying to make the world a better place, but really smart detectives eventually figure out that something is happening, and he tries to stay incognito. if that doesn't sound interesting, then hell. i really enjoyed this one, it's a classic anime that you should see.
Tumblr media
i'm gonna give you two more anime shows because my taste level is all over the place LOL but the third one i recommend is "Akame ga Kill!". it's about a guy who joins a group of assassins who he ORIGINALLY thinks are evil people who kill innocent people, but it turns out the capital city is secretly corrupt and it's all a facade, the assassins he joins are actually the good guys (at least in their eyes).
Tumblr media
if you enjoy fast paced anime where lots of people die, action, fighting, cute anime girls, and there's even a buff gay guy in the show (YAY) then this show is for you. the main character is really badass too, her name is "Akame". now i will say a lot of people criticize this show but since you asked for my opinion, i think this show is a 9/10. it's not perfect but i enjoy the world, the animation, the characters, music, etc. this show just really made me happy. the dub and sub are good, if you hate reading subtitles. i watched both.
Tumblr media
the last recommendation i have is Blood-C, i know it looks similar to Akame ga Kill but i promise you it's a different show LOL. it just has two black haired anime heroine characters who use a katana/sword to kill. and they're both bloody/action packed.
Tumblr media
this show is EXTREMELY bloody, extremely violent and bloody, there's gore guts and action. if that isn't for you, do not watch it. i however, enjoy such morbid things, and since it's not real gore/violence, i can stomach it much better.
Blood-C (first episode air date was early July 2011) is about a sweet girl named Saya Kisaragi who goes to school as a normal girl. at night, she protects her village and friends from strange human eating monsters. i'm not going to spoil much else, but if that kind of stuff interests you, please watch this one! i really enjoyed it. again, people have criticisms about this show, but i fucking loved every minute of it. it's only about 12 episodes. i have a strange love for female protagonists in anime because they're so badass and i just love strong independent women in animated things, i've always had an affinity for it. i was always that nerdy kid in school who drew anime girls and stuff in class, LOL.
Tumblr media
alright LAST anime recommendation i have for you if you enjoy my taste, is "Claymore". again, it's about female heroes with swords who slay creatures, you seeing the pattern here? LOL. i just like badass women who can fight. DON'T JUDGE ME OKAY?
Tumblr media
one of my favorite anime shows, i watched it in early 2018 when i was taking college classes, so this anime holds a special place in my heart. it's about female swordsmen who slay human eating monsters with their giant swords. these terrifying monsters can disguise themselves as humans, and it gets worse than that. it's set in a dark fantasy medieval type of alternate universe. again, if you enjoy badass anime women, this show is for you! who doesn't enjoy that?
Tumblr media
if you read absolutely everything, thank you. and let me know if you watched any of these. i'd love a follow up message from you. enjoy!

Not quite a review just some thoughts on Longlegs (spoilers!) ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
so I saw Longlegs and while I loved it I can see why a lot of people don't. it's loose in the plot at times because it's personal. Oz Perkins himself has said that he made it for himself, that it's a story of a mother's love and how that can sometimes be used to do harm; if I remember correctly his words were something along the lines of mom's lying to their kids out of love. He started writing this story with that. Even Nicholas Cage has said that he brought elements of his mother to the role, having had to live through watching her struggle with her mental illnesses.
It's beautiful to watch, the cinematography is so fantastic that I can't even describe it. I loved the flashbacks being shot/shown in that smaller ratio and how it took us out of the present day yet somehow didn't feel like a flashback if that makes any sense lol. the sound design is insane to me, I felt so tense the entire time! I thought the title cards breaking it into 3 parts was such a good way to move the story along and sort of get the audience ready for what came next.
I do think it was overhyped and that's why so many people are disappointed with it. But it was still an amazing movie and it will reach the people who it was meant for.
Now for some negatives :( the satanic angle was interesting but it could have done more, not too much like Maxxxine but just a tad. I really liked the decoded Revelation lines and wish more of that had been included and expanded on, though I came out of theater with my own connecting thoughts as someone who grew up with catholicism, I think for the general public it didn't mean a whole lot or do much.
I would have loved if the movie was a little longer tbh. like was her mom under any kind of influence from the devil or was she really just so protective of her daughter that she really would have done anything and everything to keep her alive? Also iirc they mention that the hair on the dolls were human, who's hair is it? I love that Lee and Ruby's birthday are both the 14th but it's never thought about that Agent Carter's family could be in danger because HELLO your family fits the description of the victims!!! I'm a little disappointed we don't follow the thread of Lee not having a father like the rest of the families and her first thought at the sight of the triangle in the mental health evaluation is Father.
Also saw someone say they didn't understand how he targeted the families and that it was too random to make sense, but for me personally I drew the conclusion that because Ruth was bringing the dolls as a nun as a "gift from the church" then those families must have been avid church goers/openly religious. Except Agent Carter's family, that one felt like it was done purposefully because of his connection with Lee.
The performances in this movie especially by the three characters the story revolves around (Lee, her mother and Longlegs) were so compelling. I don't think anything could have distracted me while watching this film. aside from the guy in front of me who was on his phone the ENTIRE MOVIE! But even then I was so enthralled by this film that I even forgot he was there after a few minutes. (but yeah my sister said he literally was on snapchat through the entire movie. also him and the people he was with were drinking and constantly getting up out of their seats)
Aside from my not great theater experience, Longlegs is definitely one of the highlights of my year so far! it is sticking with me and I plan on seeing it again hopefully before it leaves theaters.

hello again! Plushie god person thing again, in the biker Au. What the heck does Henryk do? I wanna know what my sweet little awkward chef guy does, and also. What the heck does Samari do also also.
Ouuuu Henryk… Hes working at his family diner across the street from Daan’s bar. His mother complains about all the bikers that frequent the place and blamed said bar. But Henryk never minded, he thinks the bar’s owner is pretty after all hehe
As for Samarie, she is basically a nun in training at the local church. But she keeps on sneaking away to spy on the cute girl who works at the occult shop the church labels as “satanic”… hope she doesn’t get caught lol

What are you editorial gripes with Long Legs?
spoilers obviously
God ok so like I’m stupid and not good with words but like like all the nun shit with her mother needed to be completely cut. I feel like the nun imagery was extremely forced and existed simply to suit the marketing strategy? Also I would cut anything that textually confirms the existence of the Devil and that he’s the one killing families and girls through evil dolls with evil orb brains? The dark cloud in Lee’s room sprouting devil horns was way too much I just don’t find the Devil scary sorry it would have been much scarier if it was never explained how some guy was entering these peoples houses and killing them without leaving any evidence he was ever there at all. Some fucked up guy acting in the name of Satan is 1000x more effective than showing me a lousy cartoon devil that requires heavy suspension of disbelief as a not spiritually or religiously inclined viewer. and IF it was absolutely necessary that the mom was threatened and had to agree to be his accomplice in order to save Lee’s life, a lottttt more emphasis should have been put on the looming threat of her letting that motherfucker live in their basement and be anywhere near her daughter. I needed like a repressed memory of Longlegs brushing little Lee’s hair like a doll or some shit to emphasize how close her mother allowed him to get to her child in order to save her life, how the work of the devil is something her mother has ALWAYS feared (have you been saying your prayers Lee?) and because of that fear she obeys a minion of a force she is too meek to overcome
From an editing standpoint the sequence where Lee wakes up in the basement and climbs upstairs to a ringing phone it’s like, genuinely confusing and not well executed. It took me until I left the theatre to realize he had been living under her house? Maybe I’m just stupid but it should have been more apparent and the stakes of that fact should have been more dire. I also don’t know why there’s a sequence of cuts to random rooms in the house when the phone is ringing right in front of her. If you want to do a bunch of cuts to random rooms in the house that’s fine!!!!! But give us a reason to be looking, put the phone across the house and design the soundscape around where the phone is in relation to each room shot. Don’t pull the audiences attention away to shit that doesn’t matter when suspense is your most powerful weapon. Speaking of suspense,
DON’T SHOW HIS FACE SO EARLY oh my god for a movie with like an actual Make You Forget Childhood Trauma Orb you would think they could resist showing the audience the guy whose face our perspective character has been repressing until she meets him herself?
Ummm and with all that shit cut we would have spent more time with our characters. I didn’t need to find out so early that Lee’s birthday is the 14th, nor Ruby’s for that matter. I wanted to know more about Lee’s beliefs and memories and motivations I wanted to know more about Longlegs and his workshop and his motivations and establish a connection between him and Lee which makes us fear for her life even after he’s been caught. Have Carter reckon with a person who commits unfathomably evil acts in service of a greater power he doesn’t even believe in, have him see the evil enter his home with his own two eyes and test his un-faith. He wasn’t really a character he was a plot device to give us a family to care about lol
Well anyway maybe I should have chosen screenwriter in that poll idk that’s like most of it. I think it’s a good two thirds of a movie! Up until her mother walks onscreen in a fucking nun costume but then that puts the whole thing under a microscope for me and I can’t not see all the ways it could have been done better if the focus hadn’t been entirely on creating provocative images but had also been on creating a meaningful (and scary!) context around those images. The opening scene with Longlegs and the part where Lee’s partner gets shot in the face point blank were pretty good tho. I liked the shit where he leaves the birthday card in her house but I also don’t feel she should have been given the answer so fast. The performances were great and Cage made me laugh whether or not that was the intent. Alright bye

Hazbin Hotel Episode 5 Live Blogging
Spoilers below
Oh god this is kinda long. Again it is past midnight and I wont be editing this.
Three minutes in and I hate everything about Charlie's dad. Dude moves like a pool noodles. Not that big of a fan of his voice, but it matches everything else that's going on with him.
Rubber ducks?
The texture on whatever the edge of that couch looks like frozen static. Why is it like that? is it supposed to be glittering?
Everyone helping to fix up the hotel is nice but that level of support and cooperation kinda feels like it comes out of nowhere. Not a single on of the hotel gang had a comment about showing Satan a beatup hotel or that he's THE GUY in hell and they are perfectly okay and normal about meeting him. NONE of them are nervous about it???
Alastor looks like he's about to go feral, lol
Razzle and Dazzle suddenly showing up with zero introduction, that neat. And there the kitty that I assume is the hotel key and a mich needed plot device at the end of the season.
Wait are R and D pets?? Oop, they're they go. Nice cameos guys.
Acknowledging that Alastor named it the hazbin hotel only raises more questions as to why the named was kept.
Alastor not knowing what lucifer looks like feels wrong. Again he is THE GUY of hell, how does no one, especially an overlord, not at least know what he looks like.
Alastor saying fuck you is jarring, but in a funny way.
Lucifer is so hard to watch. Song time.
Alastor as a nun
Why are they having a dad battle?? what is their beef they've literally never interacted. It's just on sight.
oh god the fiddle.
accordion??
He called him a deas!?!
random woman...? Mimzy, okay.
She did not need to push Pen like that, poor man.
Finally Alastor backstory- hold on that doctor overlord tho.
Alastor being aggressive toward Husk is good development with Ep 4, but this should have happened first or in the same episode. Or the two episodes should've been released as a set. Anyway, see him come off as an antagonist is good considering he's supposed to be one and all.
Vaggie why would you mention Angel's drugs while trying to sell lucifer on your road to redemption plan?
Lucifer's 'wackiness' is getting tiring fast what's his character supposed- THAT FUCKING STATIC IS BACK. Its on the windows too now.
Somebody fucking said it, thank you. I don't doubt that Charlie coukd redeem so sinners, but most of them are used to doing whatever they want. Being in heaven is a hard switch and considered tge extermination are for fun, anyone who might get redeemed is not looking at a good time. Maybe if there was a way for them to be reincarnated thenthat would work better.
Giant Alastor. Welcome back to may favorite character list.
The hotel gang eating popcorn is funny. No notes.
Alastor actually carring about the hotel is interesting. Even if it is just for entertainment, him telling Mimzy to leave like that was neat. Also, is it just me or is Mimzy animated odd. It feels jerky, but not in an intentional way.
Song #2.
He sounds like a country singer trying a new genre for the first time.
He says that he cares about her so much, but he actively doesn't interact with her. Charlie says as much at the beginning of the episode.
Oh cool so they were never close, why?
Lilith is faceless because...? It kinda takes you out of the sad song moment.
Literally what was stopping them from getting to know each other? They lived in the same house. If ut was Lilith, she's been gone for seven years. If Lucifer cared about knowing his daughter that much he should have jumped on the chance, not make rubber ducks, or whatever he was doing. It wasn't like he was ruling hell cuz no one knows what he looked like.
Wait, why could Mimzy guess who he was if Alastor hardly knew him?
Credits are rolling. I did not care about either of the songs. Alastor makes this episode, Lucifer shatters it. He isn't even convinced Charlie's plan could work, he just wants to support her. Like good job as a dad, but support alone isn't going to get the job down.
Hopefully the next episode will answer if redeeming sinners is even a possibility, like physically.
Ep 5 is like my second or third favorite only cuz I don't really feel anything for the first two.

Pretty sure Aziraphale just got kidnapped, not promoted... he was just tempted by Satan, not helped by the Metatron... he just visually went up, but Mr. Fell just became a fallen angel in the worst possible way...
I mean, if you're Heaven... are you really going to promote the outcast who was as bad as Gabriel to the top job Gabriel just fucked up-- over more agreeable choices of Michael or Uriel? Why would you do this?
Earlier in the season, Crowley is given, essentially, the same choice by Hell that Aziraphale is given at the end and we know now that Beelzebub had a different motive than they let on. They let Crowley believe that they were looking for Gabriel in a way that everyone would expect them to be looking for the missing Archangel of Heaven-- in a predatory, vengeful way-- when, in reality, they were looking for their missing love. Beezlebub offered Crowley whatever Crowley wanted in terms of power to help them *without telling Crowley their true intention*. This turned out to be a relatively harmless deception, right? It was about love. If Beezelbub had told Crowley the truth about them and Gabriel, he probably would have helped them because he's nice like that lol but, because Crowley thinks he's being asked to rejoin Hell for Hellish reasons, he takes a strong, hard pass on that one. He immediately redoubles his efforts to help *his angel* protect *another angel* in Gabriel, instead. The tempter, knowing Hell, resists temptation to do wrong, and follows a more righteous, loving, pure path.
The Metatron, though, we already know from S1, does his own thing and does not really totally speak for God (who took this season off and can therefore said to be not really endorsing any of this plot lol.) The Metatron shows up at the end and offers Aziraphale everything Aziraphale has been taught to want, plus a little he didn't realize he really wanted-- power, respect, authority, the ability to influence policy and decision. The Metatron is *way* too solicitious-- he offers to make sure that Aziraphale's bookshop is looked after and for Crowley to be restored as an angel and work alongside Aziraphale. Can we just say it?
He *tempts* Aziraphale in every possible way.
*Tempts*... as Satan would.
(Not to mention that the story establishes earlier on that it just takes a quick miracle to render someone unrecognizable to someone else who knows them... and Crowley and Aziraphale then spend an entire season failing to recognize *a woman whose entire role in S1 revolved around CROWLEY REMEMBERING HER lol and who also gets her own scene with The Metatron at the end. Has Nina been Gabriel'd and doesn't remember her past fondness for lovely little tosie-wosies? Does she not recall her former devotion to a Chattering Order of *Satanic* Nuns? In a season where Hell repurposed some Nazis as Zombie'd versions of themselves and sent them to spy on Crowley and Aziraphale... why would we think that that wasn't done again after S1? What *are* Nina and Maggie, really? Is The Metatron really The Metatron?)
Aziraphale fails the test. He allows himself to be tempted by the darkness. The final shot of him is even one of anger, of wrath, more than of sadness-- he's furious that Crowley wouldn't go along with him and the sadness of losing him has now caused him to redouble his efforts. It's very like "I'll show you!", even if we saw his face when The Second Coming was mentioned and he looked doubtful-- even if we know he has regrets. What is it that was mentioned earlier in the season as the punishment for those who helped Gabriel? Extreme sanctions. Deletion from the Book of Life, which is defined as *erasure from existence*... Are we really to believe that, upon discovering that Gabriel was just in love, that everything is now okay and Heaven is fine with all of it and they've decided to promote Aziraphale to run things now?
S2 subtly set up a few things. It showed that Crowley can get into Heaven whenever he wants and mess around still in there. It gave him an ally in Sarasquel and another in Muriel. The former is still high up and going to probably be key in helping get Crowley involved in the plot in S3 but it might not be the one we are thinking of. If we're thinking about a plot in which Aziraphale is in charge of Heaven and teaching the angels about tea and sushi and trying to enact better policy... I'm actually a bit more worried about the fact that The Metatron asked Aziraphale if he wanted to *bring anything with him to Heaven and Aziraphale said no*. He didn't take a material object up there with him when he left. He doesn't have an equivalent to Bee's fly and The Resurrectionist empty matchbox. Unlike Gabriel, who was trying to get to Hell and Beezelbub and knew what happened to rebel angels and so knew he'd have to hide himself in the fly to ensure his own existence... Aziraphale just walked into that elevator believing himself about to rule Heaven.
Something (Aziraphale) is going down in the Up.
Aziraphale just fell. Metaphorically, at least, even if he was literally going up and not taking a dive into a pit of boiling sulphur.
He didn't mean to fall. He just didn't ask *enough* questions. He just let himself be taken in by those around him, who promised him what he thought was important and not what he knew truly is.
He turned his back on love for pride. He's the demon now.

Since you’ve posted a little bit about Kimberly becoming the future ruler of hell, what are her official titles?
I have a feeling this is one of my friends lol I LOVE talking about shit like this
These are a mixture of titles related to Lucifer, which may seem a little familiar to you, biblically canon names for the antichrist and some other things! Yes, she gets called this every time her presence is announced at a meeting or event or something she's very big on formality 💀
Antichrist, Regina Inferni, Servant of the Servants of Lucifer, She Who Denies The Father and Son, Grand Daughter of the Morning, Grand Daughter of Lies, The Woman of Sin, Daughter of Perdition, Beast from the Sea, Countess of Darkness, Mother Superior of Malediction
These are pretty much the same titles Santa and Rudy had before her (well, Santa never ascended to his role as the antichrist lol his titles are different) with changes for gender and placement in the family line.
The last title is unique to her and refers to her self-imposed position as the highest ranked satanic "nun" of sorts, and her special ability to place curses.

goth nun REAL
Esther is another secondary character for my story Lazarus’ Lament! ourple lady….
(Actual Information Under The Cut Lol!!!)
Esther is works as a nun despite the fact she’s much more inclined to believe in the devil, she is a believer of the occult and satanism… The only real part of her who still continues to be a nun is because of Lazarus, she thinks he’s a nice person to be around and although she doesn’t necessarily believe in the church beliefs, she can take merit from their friendship!
Definitely plays with ouija boards for fun
Doesn’t really wear her habit properly, even during church… she’s fashionable
Enjoys heavy metal. like like imagine moriah walking in her room and with the most deadpan face, her headphones are blaring out Custer
Aroace! das pretty neat i guess :]
More Doodles!! (shows only 1)

too scared to say this on letterboxd but here wrt alucarda
i am wondering at some of these other reviews that rated alucarda higher though, i have to admit. i think that some are making this implication that having a portrayal of gay women along with minor critiques of the church means that a connection is implicitly being made by the director between homophobia and the church, but that's not quite true? aside from being a blatant application of modern politics to a film from fifty years ago, i must stress that it is an adaptation of carmilla, and it is based in anxieties around ~satanism~ which is further associated w the racial other. the film literally opens with the birth of the titular alucarda and her mother’s worries that she’s ~corrupted by satan~. it’s all about like, corruption by nature like all of these movies r..
that's okay; you can still enjoy the film, obviously, but i think... painting it as otherwise is misleading and shows ur own misunderstanding LOL. frankly, it does make you look a little stupid; pan has tan skin, a long nose, etc. and the ‘possession’ of the girls occurs in part during an orgy scene that is mostly comprised of romani (no they did not call them romani) people that they met earlier in the film. alucarda has dark brown hair, while all of the girls she forms attachments with have blonde hair. parallels ARE drawn between satanic ritual and catholic ritual, but those don’t really matter when later in the film, a doctor starts to favor catholicism over western science after previously reprimanding nuns and other churchy people for performing a ritual (exorcism).
it’s like the director is saying okay these things seem pretty similar but clearly they’re different so don’t think too hard about it.
i saw ppl comparing it to heavenly creatures which is laughable because it’s way smarter than this film. anyways it’s a 3.6 on letterboxd it’s probably all like white gays and white film bros so whatever. Whateverrr

👀 sorry to that anon before but isn’t that Claire story just an old copypasta text? I remember reading that years ago. I do think it’s a good lesson to not commit adultery (duh lol) by encouraging cheating (I think her husband in the story was dating someone else and the girl who died wanted him. But also that’s on him too?? Lol), idolatry with how the dead girl worshiped only him (don’t put people on pedestals like she did with her husband) and don’t ever blaspheme God. But there were weird vibes I got from reading that like how from what I remember the dead girl loved taking drives and enjoy life but that was seen as bad because it’s pleasure? I wasn’t really sure how to take that. Also the weirdest thing I remember from that story was the part where she told her friend how she is there to send a message from the power that wills evil but does good. Implying that God wills evil??? Has to be a translation error because to me, that made no sense and stuck with me as something wrong. Unless that’s part of her blasphemy. I know I’m missing other things from that that made me go “?”
For context here's the text in English. It seemingly translated from french so I read the french version which provides more context. So apparently the text got found in the belongings of a dead nun (sounds very copy pasta-y to me yea and still no proper date or name info...very suspicious) and for the "the power that wills evil but does good" (which rubbed me the wrong way too) is apparently a quote from Faust, a novel written by Goethe. I investigated into this and its highly occultic. It's basically the tale of a scrote who made a pact with the devil -named Mephistopheles in the story-, corrupts a young innocent Christian girl called Marguerite into having sex with him and who eventually gets rejected by her own family (Faust killing her brother who provoked him into a duel didn't help), left her after she got pregnant to attend an orgy with witches and demon, traveled down to Asia minora where he became some sort of courtsman and summoned fallen angels called 'Mother', fell in love with one of them, has a kid with her, that kids dies, demon wife leaves him, Mephistopheles wants to get his soul, and Marguerite eventually saves him from eternal damnation bc of her prayers. FIN. How any more scrotic this story could be? Goethe was a scrote and an occultist, how would God pull out such demonic reference through the intermediary of that Annette girl?
And no, she couldn't blaspheme whatsoever bc she says several time she is forced to remain civil, and that if given the possibility, she would lie or deceived Claire. Sorry but if the power compelling her to speak is Holy to the point it nulls any possibility for her to sin, than why would she quote an outspokenly occultic work such as Faust stating God does evil OR that evil does good ? By saying "I am doing what I am because I am forced to. I am acting now as 'a part of that power which always wills evil, yet does good.'" there are only 2 options possible:
- she admits she's not coming under God command but under a satan's (=a demon in disguise) which would explain she describing satan's work as "good", bc demons are liars and deceivers.
- she argues that God "wills evil" to do good which absolutely doesn't make any sense which makes me believe only the former possibility is real
Beside all of that, this whole read is so bizarre bc this girl from the dead is just venting about how she sinned by not attending the mass when she was alive, when the message of Christ......is absolutely not about that 🥴 Christ gave his life to us to 1)repent 2)obey his commandments, PERIOD. The mass is absolutely irrelevant to living the life God intends us to. One person could attend every mass without fail all their life and still end up in hell. Because we are saved through faith, not works. If their heart isn't right with God, then attenting mass is pointless. And authentic Christianity predates this brand of Catholic tradition called 'Mass'. Tbh this whole text reads like Catholic apologetics shoehorning their traditions to warn off against the horror of hell, but biblically speaking it doesn't make that much sense.

So if you saw the original Exorcist movie which debut on December 26,1973, and starred Linda Blair as Regan MacNeil(and no we are not talking about Ronald lol.) then you should have no problem watching the Hulu Exorcist series which debuted for streaming on September 23, 2016.
Let me start off by telling ytout his: aI was probably around 10 or 11 years old going to cath school at the time. Learning from the priests and nuns to believe in God and denounce Satan.
One evening my father had me and my younger brother watch this movie with him in the evening( of all times it had to bein the evening late night🫣) To this day I believe he made us watch it because he was scared to watch it by himself.
So here you have 2 kids watching a movie where a girl goes from looking normal to a grotesque face that to this day scares the hell out of me.
Now let's get on to the Hulu series “The Exorcist “
It was a different approach with a very interesting storyline. You could say it was a spin-off of the Exorcist movie. At first it starts off with a normal family consisting of a Mom, a Dad, and 2 sisters.
Mom is concerned with the older daughter thinking something isn't right. the elder daughter-Kattherine Rance aka Kat is a rebellious individual, and her younger sister Casey range is the more outgoing and responsible one out of the two.
Mom is known as Angela Rance(played by the lovely (Geena Davis) but also goes by another name in which I will not mention at this time.
So Mom is concerned because Kat refuses to leave her room. She tries to talk with her husband Henry Rance(played by the the well-known actor Alan Ruck)but it is quite difficult because he is recovering from a traumatic brain injury.
Kat believes she hears things in the walls so Angela(Mom) decides to investigate. When she experiences the similar experience she knows what's going on. At this point she believes her daughter Kat is possessed by a demon of some sort.
The Rance family are members of the Tomas parish which is run by Father Tomas Ortega.
Father Tomas Ortega (One of our main characters excellently played by actor Alfonso Herrera.) is a young priest who is well-known to the Rance Family.
Little does he know he will be asked to do a favor that will change his life. This favor will open his eyes to lying, sinning against his vows as a priest, overcoming fear, and a new mission in life.
This journey begins when he is desperately asked by Angela Rance to see if there is a second in her house possessing her daughter.
Father Tomas Is not an exorcist. He advises Angela that he would have to go to the Bishop for approval. She doesn't just advise what she thinks is going on, She tells him what's going because it takes one to know one-get my drift.
So now our other main actor named Father Marcus Keane is a priest who was an orphan raised by the Vatican. He has a lot of hurt and pain in his soul. His character is abrasive, relentless, the guy who refuses to give up. He is totally Ty dedicated to his mission which is to wage war against the enemies of the Vatican. These enemies are demons from hell.
Father Tomas never met Father Marcus except in a dream. The question is was it a dream, or was God leading one to the other and why ?
So in this dream Father Tomas gets transported to a little shack in Mexico where he witnesses Father Marcus performing an exorcism on a young boy. This young boy speaks with a voice that is obviously not his own. Father Marcus is yelling his prayers relentlessly to the point where the demon shows how powerful he is. He breaks tee from the tight restraint which were bounding his hands and legs. The child then levitates off of the bed and the demon the snaps the child's neck.
Father Marcus runs to the lifeless body of the child he so desperately wanted to save. He cuddles the child as if it were his own and he violently begins to weep. For in his mind he has failed. He doubts himself and his faith due to this loss.
Father Tomas so desperately wants to help the Rance family after he experienced a weird interaction after he did decide to visit the Rance family home.
He spoke with Kat and everything appeared normal yet he heard a voice and noise coming from their attic. He followed the sounds up to the attic and he saw a rat running across the floor only to be swooped up by a disfigured arm and hand with long nails. This thing then began to chew and consume it. Father Tomas reared backwards with fear in his eyes and upon the blink of an eye, he saw casey there.
So as everyone was under the assumption something wrong was affecting Kat, yet anyone can be received by evil.
So that's just a taste of the 1st episode. I will post everyday another episode.
I hope my review entices you to watch this series. Especially if you saw the original Exorcist movie from 1973.
You'll be in for a treat

Hi! Wanted to request how the boys would react to MC being a nun (but not a super religious lady? More like Agatha Van Helsing from BBC’s Dracula where she’s really just keeping up appearances at this point) sorry if this is weird! Sfw or nsfw is fine
I had to watch some videos of the series because I never saw it! I hope that it's what you wanted!❤❤
!!Warnings!!: blasphemy
---
How the boys would react to MC being an unconventional nun
Lucifer
Knowing that MC is a nun, Lucifer expected her to be afraid of him
But was shocked when he realised how brave and confident MC was around his brothers
“Aren’t you afraid of your father?”
She fucking wasn’t lol
It would amuse him to know how MC isn’t as chaste and pure as a nun should be
She would gain extra points with him if she started flirting or saying sexual innuendos
Mammon
“What the hell are ya, human?”
Mammon couldn’t believe what he would see and hear
He finds it so exciting how the nun seems to not care about anything at all
If she tries to make sexual advances or flirt with him he would find it so arousing tbh
Would he corrupt a religious woman who’s already not very conventional? He would surely do that
Leviathan
“I was thinking of eating you because I can’t accept that there is someone who knows about TSL more than me” “Oh yes, daddy, eat me”
He would get so flustered every time MC tease him
And won’t understand what’s wrong with her because he knows that shouldn’t be the way a nun acts
Satan
Satan would quickly involve her in his pranks to annoy his oldest brother
And won’t mind a little bit of fun between each one of those pranks
Again, he loves the idea of corrupting you
But maybe he’s the one who would end up being corrupted even more by the nun lmfao
Asmodeus
Asmo wouldn’t have expected it to be so fun
He actually thought that MC would have been a pure little thing but oh dear...he was so wrong
He would enjoy how sexual she is around him and be aroused by the fact that she should be a woman of God
Beelzebub
“You surely have two nice guns!” “Uh...I have what?”
He wouldn’t be really affected by MC innuendos at first and would just be surprised
The surprised pikachu’s meme would be the constant face that he would have around her
Belphegor
Belphie would find it even more entertaining to kill her before knowing that she’s Lilith’s descendant
Not only he could have killed a human, but also a follower of his father who killed his sister and casted him out of the Celestial Realm
After all that, when he starts knowing her better he would be so delighted by how she doesn’t seem to care about God’s commandments
“Do you want me to corrupt you, human? What would your God think about you if you let me do that?”

any advice for making small comics like you do?? im struggling with making a comic about my sister of sin's backstory.
well How I usually make my comics is either:
1. the ‘fake it til you make it’ method.
This method is where I just open to an empty page and bullshit things until it looks good enough. This is how most of my comics are made and it is the most straight forward really.
2. The show board method
I use this when I have an idea for a comic but it is too complicated for me to just wing it or I want to put probably way too much effort into it.
How I do this second method is to start off with writing a script. this way you can figure out how you want things to go without having to waste time drawing a bunch of panels that you might scrap in editing anyway. It is pretty simple, a very rough example would be like:
Honey gets package from fed ex guy, honey tells goe and she practically tackles him for it.
g:Thanks I am taking the day off now!
H:Take the day off? may I ask what you received?
G: I GOT AH KIT! Leave me to my work!
Honey leaves, sewing montage, Goe stands back to marvel in her master piece. Cut to long furby that looks like a hot mess. Cut to goe’s reaction. Cut to Goe burying it in the garden trying to pretend that never happened.
Once I get the script were I want it I will then open to an empty page and just plot out where I want the panels too be. Using the script it helps to figure out how many panels I need per page and how many pages I need in general. Plus you can keep track of details, which is helpful if you need to stop and come back later. After that I put in really crude, stick figure type drawings to just get across the general idea of what is going on in the panel. Here is an example:
Tumblr media
After I get all the pages planned out I then go through and render everything. And that is how I do comics! Everyone has their own comic methods, but this is what works for me the best.
As for writing her actual back story, that was mostly kind of improv writing lol.
I knew that back in the day the younger kids of an affluent family would be shipped off to churches and such because they either couldn’t marry the kid off for whatever reason, for some sort of financial gain, or just for clout. So I thought it would be interesting to make a character that was one of those kids, but with more Satan. And because actual nuns have different sects that do different things. Like some nuns only do community service type work, while some nuns only pray and such. However since I couldn’t see the head empty, no thoughts Goe being an actual nun. I made her kind of flunk out of a bunch of sects so I could just kind of bullshit what jobs the others do just to have fun with things. I will probably make a comic on her actual backstory one of these days. I am just too busy lately to do much drawing. Most of my time is being taken up by my book and moving lately.
I hope that helps somewhat, and I look forward too seeing your sister!

Over the summer, I watched Good Omens in Italian and made a post about it to compare and contrast
And then I did the same with French and FINALLY got around to make sense of my notes. Here they are, enjoy the laughs.
Good Omens in French is Bons Présages which is a literal translation.
French shows/movies/books always seem to do literal translations of things (see Harry Potter)
Crowley’s name goes from Rampant (something that CRAWls) to Rampa.
God, although voiced by a female sounding actor, is referred as tout puissant (male) and not toutE puissantE (female)
At least Crowley and Aziraphale use tu around each other instead of using the formal vous. (Listen, the number of shows/movies where 2 characters are friends, but because of the age dynamic they get downed to vous – it’s annoying. I’m glad 6000 yrs of friendship meant they could use tu.)
Agnes Nutter’s last name is Barge
The way Crowley greets Hastur and Ligur “hey salut les gars” it’s so casual lamao
When they’re going through the deeds of the day Crowley goes on to say “oké vous allez adorer – j’ai fait bugger tous les réseaux” he sounds so pleased
Ciao remains but (according to my old notes – I don’t remember but this is what I wrote like this summer) apparently they go on to say that it means poule (chicken) and not food (so the ciao –chow pun is lost)
The person from hell who comes through on Crowley’s radio (I was never sure who that was supposed to be) but anyways, that person, they use darling and in French it was translated as mon choux, which is cute and also really funny.
The Japanese bit was not translated (so it’s still Michael Sheen we hear say the one Japanese line)
French also does not have another word for cookie (cookie and biscuit – which is funny because in French the word used for cookie is biscuit) ANYWAYS so Sister Mary L says cookie but with a French accent.
 Aziraphael sounds like Azirafal.
When Aziraphale asks Crowley what he wants to do next (or whatever the line was) and Crowley goes des litres, des fleuves, des océans d’alcool (litres, rivers, oceans of alcool)
The drunk scene deserves a special mention
Personal opinion: but Crowley’s VA grows more on you than Aziraphale’s VA. They both sound much younger than D. Tennant and M. Sheen. Sometimes the French VAs don’t... fit lol and fall a bit flat.
 Éternitéééééééééé
 Aziraphale’s “oh doux Jésus”
Their voices as Nanny and brother Francis were sad.
Warlock’s voice at age 5 was also sad.
However warlock calls Nanny “Nounou” and that’s cute
When Nanny sings the lullaby in French – bless them they tried lamao
When Aziraphale does the practice magic trick to Crowley, Crowley goes on to complain and say “c’est toi que j’vais faire disparaître” and it’s a gem
JEANNOT LE LAPIN BLANC (when Aziraphale presents his white rabbit) it’s a Gift.
 The Them = les Eux
In her cottage = dans son cottage (did you even try)
When God asks Aziraphale for the sword and Aziraphale describes it as it’s “machin coupant très aiguisé”
Aziraphale uses vous for God, but God uses tu.
John and Virtue Device à John et Virtue Bidule (another one of those literal translations.)
Ok but this one annoyed me. Anathema’s name got changed to Anatheme and like sometimes I get it it’s cause of the way words are pronounced so when you dub you gotta find things that fit the movement of the lips as much as but Anatheme does NOT fit with Anathema. ALSO IT’S THE PERSON’S NAME. LIKE. (Re: see Harry Potter again.) aNYWAys.
Dick Turpin gets changed to Jesse Janes ????
Grow better is “et vous les filles, continuer de POUSSER” (so the plants get referred to as “girls”)
Mme. Tracy’s line about the refined gentlemen (or whatever it is) is aux gentlemen avertis.
 Du beebop.
When they return to the convent Crowley says “j’me demande où sont passés les nuns” he could have sais soeurs insteand of nuns.
Aziraphale tells Crowley “tu es un gentil garçon » (you are a nice boy)
Oh lord heal this bike à oh seigneur, réparez ce vélo
Angel is sometimes mon ange and I’m die. (My angel.)
The scene in Rome when Crowley asks “qu’est-ce que vous avez à boire?” He sounds So Done
My dear fellow = mais mon cher camarade (my dear comrade lol)
When they’re complaining about horses during the Shakespeare scene = oh aye aye les chevaux ça fait mal aux fesses
 Headquarters = maison mère
The whole Bastille scene with the Jean Claude is lost because they’re already talking French
Another transformation of angel is angelot (small angel)
The description of the head cutting machine is une énorme machine coupeuse de têtes
Pear shapped = boudain (really not the same thing.)
 Obviously = manifestement
During the Blitz scene, when Aziraphale is Super Proud he double crossed the Germans he goes on saying “vous vous petes faites pigeonner! Allez, hop, hop, hop”
The German bit was kept as is
When Crowley is tap dancing through the church, the French VA makes some key noises
You go too fast for me = Tu roules trop vite pour moi (two things; the delivery of the line falls flat and tu roules is literally a driving reference so it’s like more car feeling than like moving in life)
When Anathema offers the Them lemonade they translated it to citronade, instead of limonade. And I don’t get it.
 Wicked = mortel (Deadly)
When Shadwell mimics Aziraphale’s pip pip it’s something along the lines of hop hop hop espèce de tonton Suisse ????? I’m never sure what he says, but just – it’s a riot.
I don’t even like you = je ne t’appréci même pas (I don’t appreciate you)
But then Crowley’s you dooo is tu m’adores which, is you adore me and I lost it.
I’m soft = je ne suis pas un guerrier (I am not a warrior) and wow, okay, not the same, not the same impact. 0/10
Michael sounds more like Mi-ka-el and meh ok.
When Crowley talks to God when he’s having a minor existential crisis it – doesn’t deliver as much.
 Adam uses vous for Anathema
When Pepper realises whales have got the good life she says “oh purée, j’ai trop envie d’être une baleine” (France French expressions are sometimes a whole riot on their own)
Avocado was changed to amandes (almonds and I don’t know why)
One big avocado = ce sera bientôt la fin des amandes (it’ll soon be the end of the almonds) re : ??
You smell like poo = vous sentez vraiment la merde
Crowley’s I’ve got an old friend here = tu tombes mal, j’ai d’la visite (I’ve got visit)
Uriel tells Aziraphale “ton p’tit copain aux lunettes fumées” which is your little boyfriend with the dark sunglasses lamao
Bandes de..... méchants anges! = you bad angels! It sounds more petulant though.
The whole wrong shop allusion is lost in translation
You stupid man = espèce de crétin
Oh fuck = oh merde (really not the same intensity lol)
The emotion and distress in the dire scene is l o s t . L
When Crowley is in the bar and he asks for another bottle he asks for la p’tite soeur which means the little sister.
When Crowley is like Aziraphale is that really you (when his ghost-spirit-nebulous appearance shows up in the bar) it sounds more disbelieving? But like in a what the hell is going on and less in awe/relief??
Get a wiggle on = remuage des fesses (fesses is butt)
 Pollution sounds very young.
The 3 other horse people use vous for death
They had the French VA of Aziraphale say the spreichen ze deutsch bit and He Tried.
 Wahoo = woow
Not just the southern pansy, THE southern pansy bit = pas simplement une tantouze sudiste, mon chéri, je suis LA tantouze sudiste
A)     He sounds so very pleased with himself
B)      And flirty?? Come hither??
C)      It’s perf
D)     Tantouze sudiste = a vulgar term for a homosexual man
Shadwell uses vous for Mme. Tracy
Cowwley = Rampra (when Lisa the insurance girl calls)
 Car = caisse
When Adam yells his life to get evil out of him or whatever, in the flashback sequence when Ms. Young speaks to Adam when he was born, she speaks to him in French (not like in the Italian version where they just – did not translate that bit.)
Crowley sounds very suave when he tells Aziraphale in Mme. Tracy’s body that he’ll take care of it when the military dude won’t let them through.
Dagon à je suis présent not présente (so Dagon uses male words?? pronouns??)
You were a good car – t’étais une caisse d’enfer
Kick/lick some serious butt à brouter quelques derrières
When Aziraphale tells Crowley they should wait before offing Adam the exchange is hilarious
It’s Aziraphale: Peut-être qu’on devrait attendre (maybe we should wait)
Crowley : Qu’il ait le droit de vote? (That he could vote?)
Vous vous êtes rien vous êtes trop naz, Pepper
I believe in peace, bitch à Moi je crois en la paix pétasse LOL
They only buzzed Beelzeebub’s voice for their last line before Satan appears
Crowley at Adam ok mon garçon
Adam uses vous for Satan his dad, but then uses tu for him for t’es pas mon père lol
Le truc cest que tas pu dcamp mon vieux – moi non plus dailleurs
Their voices when they’re pretending to be each other
Tickity boo à tout va très bien
Je te rappelle que je suis un putain d’archange (I’m the archangel fucking Gabriel – or whatever that line was lol)
Shut your stupid mouth and die already à Tu vas te la fermer ta grande bouche et te décider à mourir
Beelzebu : il est revenu à ses origines – il a changé de bord instead of he’s gone native
Miiichael mon pot, tu m’fais un p’tit miracle j’ai pas de serviette à When Aziraphael as Crowley asks Michael for a towel.
