Gotta how Eggy is still salty over his terminally ill cousin hogging all the attention from him, even 50 years after her death. Now that is what I call peak pettiness and narcissism.🥚👑💚

God yes it's one of the memos I understood and loved right away when it leaked. I was surprised by the ways it was interpreted to hint at a tragic past of neglect, I could tell right away that it was bratty and selfish instead with his words and the attitude in his tone. Plus Flynn was later asked if the former was the implication but he said Eggman is a very unreliable narrator too.

I really wish that more people would focus on what we know is actually happening in it and what makes the memo so great and funny and true to him with his self egotistical mindset and attitude. It's definitely one of the highlights. I LOVE how he canonically feels the exact about Maria in the exact same way I imagined him to, I've had the headcanon for years!

He'd totally be jealous and bratty towards absolutely anyone getting attention instead of him in any amount, even if they have all the most understandable reasons in the world such as being kind and loving like Maria was known to be and would unsurprisingly be praised and treasured for, and the fact that she had a terrible life threatening illness.

I truly believe Eggman was always an asshole and this memo supports it because now we know he's always been like "ugh why couldn't I get all the attention instead, who cares about her when I'm right here!" I find the consistency of him always being selfish, self-centered, egotistical, and entitled to attention due to it, more compelling than coming up with a sad reason for it.

And we know that even after she died he was like "you're all talking about her like she's so special but she's DEAD but I'm right here still alive and with tons to admire and praise!" He's so messed up and funny for that and I like how he feels about her terminal illness and death is also another example of how he has low empathy and that it does go back to childhood.

And yeah that type of jealousy towards family for attention is common but it's also the fact he still feels that way as an old man. This bastard didn't learn and mature like "it was kinda fucked up to be rude and insensitive towards an innocent terminally ill child", he's still just like "ugh everyone talked about her like she was so special 🙄 but it should've been ME!"

I mean what a major fucking asshole LOL it just screams Eggman and I love it so much. It shows his ego, selfishness, and desire for all the attention always existed in him, which are all traits he still has that fuel his evil motives to take over the world today. It's like it got worse and more extreme over time for him to want all the attention from the entire world too.

And the way he didn't grow out of that immature attitude that kids in family can feel towards each other, such as when they don't get cool gifts at another's birthday party and stuff like that, also makes it seem like it's a part of how he's a big manchild now, as he showed that side of him a looot throughout Frontiers. XD Love how it all seems to date back

I've also imagined that one of the ways Eggman took inspiration from Gerald is how impressive, important, and famous him and his work was. Eggman is known in the games and TailsTube to take pride in being related to him and because of his own high IQ and skills too, he likely felt entitled to that same attention and focused on that part instead of Gerald's good deeds lol

I like to think that while he obviously admired Gerald and thought of him more positively, it was because he could see himself in him through his intelligence and scientific accomplishments and wanted to be a great scientist like him so he could get all the attention and praise for himself and his own work. They are actually the things he says he admires in the SA2 ending.

But then Maria was admired by others because she was a good person with a terminal illness, neither of which I believe Eggman could ever relate to, so he didn't take inspiration from her and couldn't take pride in being related to her like Gerald with his genius and science, so he only felt bitterness and like it was just undeserved and that he should've had it instead.

And I imagine that another part of it is how he felt like Maria was in his place that he really deserved instead because she actually knew him personally and lived with him. He'd obviously wish he could've been on the ARK with his grandfather and idol and inspiration in science instead too, which is yet another reason for him to be like "it should've been me instead!"

How he lacks sympathy for an innocent little girl with a tragic terminal illness because of egotistical entitlement for attention and feeling more important was fucked up. Eggman isn't a victim, he's a biased narrator as Ian Flynn said. He doesn't think anyone should get attention over him when he's there to love and praise and give attention and appreciation instead.

I also like to think the reason he compares Sage to Maria is that as she's an impressive and admirable creation of life, she could be liked and praised by people and it would give him more of the attention he desires as he can take credit as her genius creator. It tracks with how all the reasons he praises Sage is for her use to him and it's yet another way to benefit.

OH and also, going by my theory for why his thoughts on Gerald are so different compared to Maria but have the same reasoning behind them, unlike her he can actually take pride in Sage for her similarities because he actually created her! While with Maria he couldn't relate like he could to Gerald, so he resented her. This adds up way too well holy shit

He could also brag that Sage is superior to Maria and use it as proof he was always more worthy of attention because she was created by him and in a real genius way with code and electrons, like he says in memo 19, and that she can't get sick and die like her. He'd definitely stoop that low, especially with how much of an asshole he is about it already hehe >:)

Can you tell I just really love diving deep into his mindset, attitude, and perception of himself and others and finding ways it's consistent in both his past and present? XD I'm super interested in the smallest things they let us know about his past/childhood and how he feels about his family too. I'm also going to be sharing some more analysis on his feelings on Gerald soon. ^^

• I feel like Hannah is the crazier version of season5!Ava, and Will... he's just his ol' dumb self. He's my baby but I hope his ass gets burned so he can finally keep it in his pants. Tf is wrong with him, why can't he stay single?!

• I'm sick and tired of Chexton - *gags*. If you could see how many times I rolled my eyes while watching them during this season... whew! I just hope the explosion won't trigger Ethan's PTSD (where's his parrot???), he's been through a lot already, so yeah...

• Natalie watching Crockett with heart eyes is literally me. I love the man, what can I say? Just the way he talks makes me feel some type of way. By the way, I'm not against the idea of them being a couple. Not now though. But I can see that and I wouldn't hate it.

Also, I KNEW he'd lost a kid, I sensed it in the episode where he and Nat needed to get those two kids out of the crashed bus. And he... didn't get mad at her for basically not minding her business - even though it was because she wanted to help him. I hope we get to know more about his past in the next season.

• Dr. Charles's daughter is annoying af, I wanted to smack her bratty ass the whole time. I can't disrespectful people - yeah, I know she's only 13 yada yada, IDGAF.

• I don't see the sparkle between Matt and Sylvie (yet???). To me they're just brother and sister. Like, I kinda see why someone would ship them, but at the same time, nah, it's just weird to me. It's not even like I wouldn't want them to be together, it's just that I don't care..? In a non-petty way, I swear. I'm totally over Dawsey, so it's not that.

• Capp getting more screentime? I'm all in for it! It was so cute to see Sev all preoccupied with Capp's well-being, and when they entered Molly's and everyone cheered, man... they're such good people!

• Stellaride. I'm wondering if in any of the three episode that Corona stole from us there was gonna be a mention of marriage or, you know, having babies... The thought will haunt me forever.

• That Gallo x Ritter (Rallo?) duo is probably the best thing that happened in this season.

• Annie is getting tf out of the show. I'm not saying I'm happy, but I won't say I'm not not happy.

Y'all, I'm sorry (am not), but Foster's character kinda irks me, Annie is probably my least favorite cast member, so yeah, what can I say? Bye bye bye.

• LaRoyce fucking Hawkins. Y'all, my man nailed this episode.

The topic of police brutality and profiling is always super interesting for me. I'm black but I don't leave in the USA. Sure I've experienced racism, but it's not actually the same thing. (Sorry, but I don't really feel like elaborating any further bc it's almost 3AM and my few braincells are, like, dead lol)

The final scene with him screaming "I'm right here!" was so powerful and just... *chef kiss*. Applause to LaRoyce. We really need to acknowledge and appreciate him and and his character a lot more.

If anybody tries to lay a single finger on him I'mma have to pew pew pew some people, I'm not kidding.

i dont rlly like lila content of this fanon version of her made up before chameleon came out because i still think she’s a good character after it and while i don’t think she will be redeemed in the show, she’s still at a point that’s before ‘the point of no return’ and can be redeemed from what she’s done so far in fanon, you don’t need to reset her for lilanette or w/e to work. and honestly i don’t really like the ‘reverse chloe’ idea the more that i think about it - the way marinette confronts lila in chameleon is a mistake, but i much prefer it to her discarding her integrety to coddle lila while pretending not to be the person she hates so lila loves her? we have liladrien for that

but it’s ultimately harmless and i don’t fault people for not wanting to let go of all the content they made for it

i like lilanette because lila and marinette are actually quite similiar, and it would be really interesting for them both to acknowledge that and find common ground that eventually turns into romance... lila doesn’t forgive ladybug and continues to lie, so of course marinette isn’t going to forgive lila even if she believes lila’s lying for a reason. &marinette’s been shown to be judgemental and kinda petty so of course she’s going to speak her mind about it instead of letting it slide so she can be nice. i don’t even think lila would be impressed if marinette did act that way, she dismisses her classmates as dumb and gives credit to marinette for figuring her out. they’re both too bratty for the ‘reverse chloe’ idea to have ever worked tbh the direction the show’s taken them makes sense and i’m still gonna ship them lol cuz the alternative would just end up w/ lila feeling betrayed when she finds out marinette & ladybug are the same person (which is hypocritical but totally in character for her lbh)

So~here we are... the finale for season 2 ;__;

- ‘He didn’t raised the ward for us’.. salty!Alec~..lol..

- I know this is a malec video but damn, Izzy is a badass Queen~! She rules, really~.. and she really has that authoritative presence like Maryse, whether she realizes it or not (Simon dear, she’s gonna eat you alive~! Good luck! ^^). 

- Magnus pretending there was no one standing in front of his door and about to close the door on Alec’s face.. lol

- I love Magnus being sassy/bratty at Alec: making faces, rolling his eyes and his ‘duh’.. Insisting Alec knows that he’s helping coz it will save other people’s lives and certainly not because of Alec and his band of merry Shadowhunters.

I love for all that he is 800 years old, Magnus still have that very human trait to act immature and petty arguing with your partner.

- And I love that throughout their fight ‘period’ and Magnus was being extra salty, Alec looked at him like ‘This brat.. ugh! why did I think you were adorable before again?’ and looking he would love nothing more than to either spank the warlock or strangle him. 

- It was funny when Magnus nearly stumbled out of his own portal while Alec and Izzy walked out like freaking models on runway~ ^^;;

- Magnus looked a wee bit unsure and that was why Alec (the caring!protective!boyfriend who wanted to pretend he doesn’t care but failed miserably) instantly asked if he will be okay... 

- Alec was supposed to cover Magnus.. and ended up~

- Alec just dived straight into it. And the way Magnus hold himself when Alec mentioned the Soul Sword like he was remembering the hurt and i don’t know what he thought gonna happen here.. but tbh, Magnus really looked like he was bracing himself to get hurt (not physically ofc!!).

- I honestly believe that this is the first time Magnus to ever have this kind of talk with someone he loves and who loves him back. Someone who thinks their relationship is worth fighting over

- Alec said he can’t think straight since they fight and Magnus looked really unhappy at admitting he can’t stop thinking about Alec (seriously i think this was new experience for Magnus too..)

- Alec straight up said he can’t live without Magnus... and he shakes his head like that’s the fact. No but or if about it. It just what it is. He can’t live without Magnus. period. 

(personally I think he meant he can lives without Magnus but he doesn’t want to.. They both could function without each other BUT they were miserable)

- Then you can see Magnus let himself go and slowly becoming his normal playful flirty self again.. even tried to make his voice deeper to imitate Alec

- Alec looking relieved at bae’s smiling again~

- Alec letting Magnus comes to him.
