anything else i want you to know about me / my character / my shipping habits: Putting the two gunners together seems like a recipe for disaster, BUT. Usopp is such a sweetie that Suma would absolutely drop her walls fast for them. Also, I'm a sucker for friends to lovers, and with how things go in canon?? The Timeskip, not seeing each other for so long?? Reuniting and being all like HEY HE-heLLO- yes.

1. From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!)

A four, I think. At this point I feel pretty solid, but I know I still have areas to work on to improve.

12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about.

Well, I'm currently working on something for the Thiam Big Bang 2021! A little glance into the future for our boys. Expecting it to be rated Teen.

13. First fandom you ever wrote for?

Ok... look. Just. Hold on. The first bit of fanfic that I wrote was Supernatural with an OC involved. It's also the only thing I wrote for Supernatural.

So, I signed up for two prompts as a part of the next Teen Wolf Fic Fest. A Scott-centric piece and something that's more of a gen fic at the moment. So those are coming in... February. I also have this Harry Potter idea that's just been simmering that might end up getting written. Also, also, I love when people engage with me about my fics. If there's something you're wondering about a work or what not I'm always happy to answer questions! I also appreciate prompts, but right now with Kinktober in swing and other commitments I can't really take them on, but I try to save them for later. 💖

OOC: SHIPPITY SHIP SHIP SHIP STUFF

//To expand on my last reblog about shipping taking priority! Sorry it’s long but I need to get this off my chest lol

Don’t get me wrong, I adore my threads with platonic friendships and family members but rarely do they take more than 3 replies before getting dropped. Which is fine because as short as some of those threads were, it was enough to make make Miri the authority, the Queen someone fights for, the motherly figure, the one giving advice, the one to entertain, giving a reaction to shenanigans and just being that good friend. In a nutshell, she’s the support for the slice of life bits for other muses. They are always fun to write and I appreciate every one of them so it’s nice to be that person people can come to take a break from their main ships and main muses that have actual juicy plots with.

Unless the muse does not prefer any romantic relationships, I’ve noticed that the developing ships, the established ships, and the banter between potential ships take priority. There seems to be more muse to plot those types of threads. They have longer replies, will have at least 10 notes, and the ooc chats are in the nature of “adsfafeaalsdkfja;slfkj;fj;ofi omg the feels!!!!!!” So I’m not going to deny having ships is super important. I’m not going to speak for everyone but I completely understand when a muse isn’t shipped with another, those threads will not be plotted out or replied with the same enthusiasm as the shippy ones. And that’s completely fine! They are still enjoyable in their own way! Crack anyone? XD

Now, don’t misunderstand that I’m only RPing here for the ships. It’s not the only thing I do around here if you can see some of the threads I have. BUT it’s always a big bonus to have some shippy ones since Miri is not the type of character that has a fandom with a canon or a fanon ship. I see it as not her just being a thristy af female muse but they can also be part of her character development. She has so much love to give and can be super naive about it. Her love can be more than for friendship and being a mother. For example, her banter with Time were always my favorite threads and next thing I know it, they turned into White/Time!

There just isn’t that much material in the canon and fic world that shows that side of her so I do like expressing it with this blog. Just check out all the crackships I have and I do look at them once in a while and not going to lie, I always miss so many of those threads with those muses and wish to bring more back. I’ve just been so busy that it’s hard to sit down and write up another starter, or reach out to plot things further but when I ever do get a chance, you can bet that I’ll be all over that! I still “squee” over it!

In the AIW fandom itself Hat/tice is the main one and everyone goes apeshit over it. People other than the muns want to read those threads so it’s like reading a fic being written on their own dash so of course those threads will take priority. And that’s awesome! People deserve to enjoy reading and writing about romantic relationships and the fluff, the angst, the smut, and of course, the crack!

So let’s tear down the stigma that people who are only here to ship are cringey. As long as they don’t harass and force the ships, they should be proud to express how much more they enjoy those threads!

OWN UP TO IT! Write what you love the most and don’t worry about hurting other people’s feelings if you don’t get to their threads quicker than your shippy ones. Be up front to your partners and don’t keep them wondering if the thread’s ever going anywhere if there isn’t a ship involved. Feel free to discuss if you want! This needs to be talked about more!
