He heard Shiro shift in his chair. “I don’t get what we’re doing.”

Lance sighed. “We’re sitting down, Shiro, with our eyes closed. Don’t move too much or your mask will slip.”

He heard Shiro’s fingers start drumming impatiently.

“Shirooo,” he admonished.

“I’m trying.”

“Resting is just as important as working, Shiro. You can’t fight at you best unless you’ve got at least eight hours of nothing under your belt.”

Shiro scoffed. “Then I haven’t ever been at my best.”

Lance huffed. “We’re fixing that right now. Just breathe with me and keep your eyes closed.”

Lance took a loud breath in and he heard Shiro follow. They breathed in tandem and when the breaths turned into snore, Lance smiled.

Lance’s Youtube Channel has really taken off recently. Here is some of the BTS moments his viewers wish they could see. 

Lance pointed the camera at this face, hands steady only after years of practice and thousands of near dropped camera disasters. His eyes flicked to the screen to check he was in focus and flashed the camera his signature grin when he was ready. 

“Hello, beautiful, loyal viewers! We have a little bit of a special video today. It involves a surprise for Shiro! But first, we have to go wake sleeping beauty up.”

Lance stuck his tongue out teasingly as he ambled down the hallway of the apartment he shared with Shiro and to the closed door of their bedroom. Holding a finger up to his lips, he shushed the camera and widened his eyes comically before easing the door open as quietly and stealthily as possible.

The room was dark, only barely enough light filtering in from the edges of the drawn curtains so Lance and the camera could still see. Lance’s whispered I’m a Ninja was still caught on audio, even as he tripped over Shiro’s running shoes and cursed in 3 languages, but quietly, so it was fine.

Flipping the camera away from him, Lance gave the lens a second to focus on the Shiro sized lump currently curled up in the middle of their bed. For a man who worked out at 5 A.M. most mornings, he was not a morning person and usually didn’t even crack an eye until noon on his rest day.

The camera wobbled a little as Lance kneed up onto the bed, nestling up close so he could hang over Shiro and focus in on the tuft of white hair peeking out from under the blankets.

“Shirooo, wake up!”

Lance cooed softly, his free hand gently tugging the blanket back and revealing Shiro’s nose scrunched up in a grumpy pout.

“Come on, baby, wake up.”

Lance giggled as Shiro tried to tug the blankets back, but failed as Lance had tucked them under his knees and Shiro was still too much asleep to do much about it. Changing tactics, Shiro reached out for Lance instead, circling his arms around his boyfriend’s waist and tugging him down to bury beneath his own bulk.

“Mm, don’t do this baby boy. Let daddy sleep, okay?”

Silence reigned for several long seconds as Lance let Shiro manhandle him into his arms and cuddle him close before breaking out into a disbelieving laugh.

“Oh, that’s so staying in the video.”

Shiro’s eyes shot open and immediately connected with the camera Lance currently held up over their heads.

“Lance.”

Shiro’s cheeks heated and he buried his face into the curve of Lance’s shoulder, barely concealing his red cheeks and ears from the camera while Lance just grinned.

“Told you guys my daddy was kinky.”

“Lance!”

Shiro tackled him, knocking the camera aside so it landed gently between the pillows and the headboard  and entirely ignoring Lance’s squeal of My camera!

  “Sorry about that!”

Lance ginned at the camera, his hair still damp from a recent shower and a set of fresh hickies now visibly trailing up the side of his neck to the underside of his jaw.

“So! Only a little bit later than expected but Operation: Surprise Shiro and Make Him Cry is still underway!”

Standing in the kitchen behind Lance, the camera easily caught the amused eyeroll as Shiro puttered around, making two ginormous sandwiches in only a pair of low slung sweats.

Catching the movement, Lance’s grin turned lecherous as he moved the lens to focus on Shiro, zooming in on the incredibly well-defined abs and the visible trail of hair. He panned up slowly, showing off Shiro’s pecs (and a few of Lance’s own bite marks), before settling on Shiro’s face, cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk and half a sandwich hanging out of his mouth.

“And he’s all mine.”

Lance snorted when Shiro just gave him the finger and continued stuffing food into his mouth like he would never eat again. Shiro always got like this after sex, but even years later, it never stopped being hilarious.

Lance set the camera down at that point, moving close to wrap his arms around Shiro from behind and kiss the space between his shoulder blades.

“I really do have a plan, you know.”

Swallowing the last of his sandwich, Shiro turned within the circle of Lance’s arms and hauled him close.

“I’m sorry, kitten. I know I’ve been grumpy today.”

He kissed Lance’s temple apologetically and hummed contentedly as Lance nuzzled closer.

“So, what’s the plan?”

“Surprise.”

The words were muffled into Shiro’s chest, petulant and a little childish and so clearly still a bit in little mode that Shiro’s chest expanded with warmth.

Lance could have suggested sky-diving and Shiro would have agreed in a heartbeat.

“Okay, lead the way.”

  Shiro watched from his peripheral vision as Lance picked up the camera again. Shiro was driving, but still had absolutely no idea where they were going. He just turned where Lance said to turn (and jumped when Lance said to jump).

“Alright guys, we are on our way to Shiro’s surprise. He still has no idea where we are going.”

Lance shot him a cheeky look and Shiro only barely managed to suppress a smirk as he pulled up to a red light.

“I think you are going to see a side of Shiro you have never—turn here, babe—never seen before.”

Shiro pulled the car into a small parking lot already inhabited by a few other cars. He barely registered Lance turning the camera on him, his eyes scanning the side of the building then flickering to the rear-view mirror to check out the little house like structure he definitely had not been expecting.

“Lance?”

He looked over at his boyfriend only to see him holding his hand across his mouth, barely concealing his bursts of giggles shaking the camera in his hand.

“Come-come on.”

Without a word, Lance jumped out of the car, still giggling to the camera as he took Shiro’s prosthetic in his free hand and led him across the little parking lot and up the wooden stairs.

Shiro’s eyes were big as he looked around for clues, but the only sign for the building was obscured by a willow tree and Lance wasn’t about to let him go inspecting.

It was when they entered the little atrium of the building that Shiro finally understood.

“Hello! Welcome to the Cat Café, have you guys been here before?”

Shiro’s eyes widened as he looked from the receptionist to the cat themed shirts and mugs around the room and finally to the little window that peeked on in where a few people sat among 20 cats or so, sipping tea and coffee and eating pastries.

He barely registered Lance’s whispered He really loves cats and only mechanically signed the release form when Lance shoved it into his hands along with a pen.

“Okay, you guys can come this way. The cats with red collars are our problem children. Just be careful, they are more likely to bite or scratch then others, but they are all sweet an all up for adoption.”

Shiro let Lance lead him into the room and push him into a chair currently uninhabited by cat or human. He didn’t even realize he was crying until Lance was kneeling at his feet, a mixture of amusement and concern on his face even as he directed the camera at him.

“Are you okay, babe?”

Shiro quickly wiped the tears from his cheeks and laughed self-consciously.

“I’m just really happy.”

Lance set the camera down and launched himself into his arms, kissing him randomly across the high points of his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.

“You are so cute!”

Shiro laughed and pulled Lance fully into his lap, kissing him in return until Lance was laughing outright and burying his face in Shiro’s neck.

After a couple minutes, Lance set back in the circle of Shiro’s arms so he could see him smiling brightly at him in return.

“Let’s look at some cats, yeah?”

Shiro’s smile brightened impossibly more and nodded as Lance clambered off his lap and waved Shiro over to check out a particularly large cat that the attendant told them was new and named Black.

  Hours later, still glowing from the café and full of too sweet pastries, Shiro and Lance finally made their way back to the apartment. Lance flopped back on the couch, still fully clothed despite spreading his legs in invitation.

“Camera off?”

Lance grinned and nodded, spreading his legs even further as he pushed the camera under the couch for emphasis.  

“Yes, daddy.”

Shiro felt his blood boil, like it always did when Lance used that name on him. But, instead of launching at him like he normally would, like he wanted to, he moved slowly to Lance’s side. He sat carefully on the couch, trapping one of Lance’s legs behind him and bringing the other up onto his lap so he could rub his thumb around the bone of his boyfriend’s ankle.

“Lance, I just wanted to thank you for today.”

Lance sat up, but Shiro kept his legs trapped where they were so he could only lean forward and run his hands up Shiro’s prosthetic and quietly grip the curve of his shoulder.

“I know you’ve been stressed, so I wanted to do something for you. You do so much for me, put up with my YouTube videos, take care of me. I wanted to do that for you.”

Shiro still kept Lance trapped where he was, but when he turned and looked Lance in the eye, he was smiling.

“I don’t put up with your videos, I love them because you love them. I love everything you do and I’m so happy to be part of what you love and to be who you love.”

Tilting his head to the side playfully, Lance looked Shiro up and down.

“Even when I call you daddy on camera.”

Shiro laughed and gripped Lance’s ankle a little tighter than necessary.

“Especially when you call me daddy on camera.”

Lance flushed pink, suddenly reminded fully and completely that, despite Shiro’s on camera reluctance, the man he loved really was a kinky shit and Lance loved him all the more for it.

“Well, that will have to stop soon.”

Blinking, Shiro’s brow furrowed in confusion at Lance’s suddenly serious expression.

“Shiro, we can’t be kinky in front of the kids!”

Realization dawned and Shiro smirked, yanking Lance’s leg up high to blow a raspberry on the exposed skin between his sneakers and the edge of Lance’s jeans so that he squealed. When Lance was breathless and red faced, Shiro finally pulled away, not so secretly loving having Lance trapped and at his mercy like this.

“I think the new cats will be fine, babe.”

Lance’s eyes were glassy as he raised his arms up wordlessly for Shiro to take the hint and pick him up and carry him to bed.

The cats wouldn’t be there for another week, anyway. They could settle it then.

Maybe even on camera. The viewers would love that.

Lounging on their bed with a book in hand and bare feet crossed, Shiro drawls, “Nope.”

“Fight me,” Keith repeats with greater insistence.

Shiro’s grin grows as he turns a page, drawling, “Nope.” For increased cheekiness, Shiro makes a popping noise at the end.

I am a young priestess (like Kagome and Kikyo). I was on my way back to my village when I encounter a pregnant woman being chase by ogre demons.

“Priestess, please help me. They want to kill me and my child. Please help me.” the pregnant woman said as she hides at my back and I just look at her. The ogre demons are now in front of us.

“Human! Get out of the way or else, will kill you too.” the ogre demon said.

“Why are you after her and her child?” I asked.

“It’s none of your business. Get out of the way now, human.” the ogre guy demon said.

“Tell me. Why are they after you and your child?” I asked the woman behind me.

“My baby… The baby’s father is not an ogre demon.” she said as she touch her tummy.

“You betrayed our Master!” the ogre said.

“I never love Tomi and I didn’t even wanted to marry him!! The one I love is Kouro!”

“That damn bat demon.” the small ogre said.

“You traitor! We will kill you and your child just like we did to Kouro.”

“Goodbye Princess!” the ogre run toward us. I pointed my arrow at him as I shot his right arm.

“She’s really a priestess?” the ogre said.

“You leave her and the baby alone, and I won’t shoot you.”

“Shut up! You’re just a human. Stop interfering.” said the big ogre. I shot him with my sacred arrow in the chest.

“This is not the end of it.”

“Thank you! Thank you for saving me.” the woman said. Is she an ogre demon? A princess ogre? She doesn’t look like it.

“Do you have a place to stay?” I asked her.

“No, but I can hide in the cave for now.”

“You can stay at my place.”

“Thank you for the offer, but you already save me. I don’t want to cause you more trouble.”

“I insist.”

“Are you sure? Is it really okay for me to stay at your place. A demon like me.”

“It’s okay. Also those ogres are after you and your baby.”

“Thank you! Thank you so much.”

We went back to my village and people greeted me as they saw me.

“Who is she?” Tina asked.

Tina is like my aunt sort of. (That’s the vibe I get from her in my dream.)

“I saw her on my way back here. She’ll be staying here from now on.”

“Hello, my name is Chiya. I’m an ogre demon. Thank you for allowing me to stay here and sorry for the trouble.”

“You’re welcome. By the way, where is she going to stay?” Tina asked as she looked at me.

“She going to stay at my place.”

“Are you sure, Shiro? You know I can let her stay at my place or we can even make a new house for her and her baby.”

“I’m sure. Let’s go Chiya.”

We went to my house. As she stayed there she also help in the house chores. Since most of the time I’m away to help other villages to fight demons.

“Welcome home, Shiro.” Chiya greet me as I went inside the house. It’s already been 2 years since she stayed at my house. (not really sure how long has it been, but I know that it’s been so long).

“I’m home.”

“How’s your day? Wait just a moment, I’m almost done cooking our dinner.”

“Shiro!! Welcome back!”

“Chiaki! Stop hugging her. She’s mine!” - Kousuke

“No! She’s mine!” - Chiaki

“Hey you two stop it and help me prepare the dinner.”

“But mom…”

“Now!”

“Yes mom!”

Chiaki and Kousuke are Chiya’s son. She get birth 2 months after she started staying at my house. Humans gave birth after 9 months. However for ogre they gave birth after 3 months and not just that. They also grow up fast. (Chiya explained it in my dream, sort of.) After 2 years that they are born, they become fully grown teenager and now they are the same age as me.

“Dinners ready.” Chiya announced as they finish preparing.

“Shiro sit here.” Chiaki said as he pull the chair beside him.

“No! She’s sitting beside me.” Kousuke said and pull the other chair beside him.

“Chiaki sit next to Kousuke.”

“But mom…”

“No buts.”

“Tsk.”

“Shiro sit here.” I sat next to Chiya. (we have a long table and total of 6 chairs).

“Mom!”

“What? I want her to also sit next to me.” I just smile as they pout to their mom.

We started eating and just when I’m about to go to my room.

“Priestess!! Priestess Shiro! We need you. Please help us.”

“Who is it?” Chiya asks as she open the door.

“Where’s the priestess? We need her help. Demons are attacking our village. I’m from the south and I escape.”

“What kind of demons?” Kousuke asked.

“They look like birds. They also suck bloods and turn to fire.”

“Phoenix. It’s called Phoenix, they have the ability to "suck” blood and somehow regurgitate.“ I said as I hold my arrows.

"You’re going now?” Kousuke asked.

“I have to.”

“Take care Shiro. I’ll wait for you.” Chiaki said and I just smiled at him.

(For some reason, the point of view change to Chiaki)

“Who are you?” my annoying twin brother, Kousuke asked.

“Where’s priestess Shiro? Is she here? Is she sleeping? Let me in.”

“What do you want with my Shiro?” I asked him.

“Who’s at the door, boys?” mom asked.

“Chiya! Is that you Chiya?”

Why does this little fox know our mom. Did he use to live here? I don’t remember him.

“Oh, it’s you Aki. Shiro went out just awhile ago. Come inside. We still have some dinners left, you want some.”

“Sure. Thank you Chiya.” he went inside as he pass through us.

“Chiya who are this two young man? Wait, are they..”

“Yes. They are my son, Chiaki and Kousuke.”

“I see. You name them after you and your husband.”

“Isn’t it cute?”

“Why are you looking for Shiro?” I asked him.

“Yeah! What do you want from her?” Kousuke added.

“Boys, show some respect. He is Shiro’s friends and he use to live here way before us.”

“Yes, mom.”

“Aren’t they cute and obedient?” our mom said as she looks at us.

“She’s late. What took her so long?” Aki said as we walked back and forth in front the door.

“Where did Shiro go?”

“She went to the south village.” I said.

“She’s saving them from some bird demon called Phoenix.” Kousuke added.

“Did you say Phoenix? Are you sure the bird demons are called Phoenix?”

“Yes. It’s what Shiro said. The villager from South explained that the bird demons suck bloods and can turn to fire.”

“Where are you going?” I asked as he immediately run toward the door.

“I’m going after Shiro. I have to tell her that Kouro’s is with them.”

“What was that?!” We were surprised when we heard the broken plates.

“Mom? Are you alright?”

“What’s wrong mom?”

“Chiya, are you alright?”

“Did you say Kouro is with the Phoenix? Kouro? You mean my Kouro, my beloved husband?”

“Ahh. Damn! Shiro is gonna kill me.”

“Please tell me, Aki? Is it my Kuoro? Is it really my husband?” mom cries as she begs Aki.

“Alright I’ll tell you. Shiro will really kill me for this.”

Aki took a deep breath before he start talking again.

“Shiro knew that you feel lonely and you still want to look for your husband and make sure whether he’s really dead or alive.”

“What? Lonely? No, I’m happy and thankful that Shiro let me and my sons stay here.”

“I know. It was when before you gave birth. You had nightmares and every night she hears you crying and longing for your husband. And that’s why she ordered me to look for Kouro and makes sure whether he’s dead or alive. This past few years, I’ve been looking for Kouro. Then suddenly I heard two ogres talking. They said that Kouro was given to the Phoenix Princess, Shiara.”

“You mean, Kouro is still alive?”

“Yes, but he’s in Princess Shiara’s control.”

“Let’s go.” mom said as she stood up.

“Where?” I asked

“I’m going with Aki. You two stay here.”

“No mom! We’re coming with you.” Kousuke said and I nod as I agree with him.

We all run to the south village. We sometimes went with Shiro when she looks for herbs and medicine. We even go with her when she visit other villages. That’s why somehow we know the way to south village.

“Shiro!” mom shouted as she saw Shiro. She’s fighting with our dad.

“Priestess Shiro!!”

“Aki?”

“That’s Kouro, Chiya’s husband. He’s being control by Princess Shiara. Once you destroy the box she’s holding, the spell will be broken.”

“Kill them!” Princess Shiara orders her demon birds. The demon birds attack us. Shiro strike my dad with his bow to make him unconscious and she immediately run to saved us. As she and Aki busy killing the birds, Kouro gain consciousness.

“Chiaki!!” Shiro hug me and struck my dad with her bow.

Then Shiro shot her arrow at Shiara's direction. The box got destroyed and the spell was broken.

“This is not the end of it.” Shiara said and they retreated.

"What happened?" Dad asks as he rub his head.

"Shiara was controlling you."

"Was this all my doing? Did I hurt anyone? I'm so sorry."

"Kouro?"

"Chiya? Is it really you?"

"Yes, It's me." mom runs to hug dad.

"The ogres are coming. Chiya is not wearing the necklace I gave her. You have to go back now." Shiro said.

I saw blood on my shirt and I immediately look if I got hurt, but there's no wounds or scars on me.

"Shiro! You're bleeding!!" I shouted.

"I'm alright. You have to go back now."

"I'm not going without you."

"Don't worry about me. The wolf tribe are also on their way here."

"She's right. For sure Koga already smelled her blood and he's coming to save her." - Aki

“No! You’re going back with us.”

“Okay. Let's go.”

“What about this people?”

“Aki, bring them to the village for safety. Everyone, Koga and the wolf tribe will help you get to our village.”

“Yes priestess.”

“Aki, please tell Koga that I’m fine and he shouldn’t worry.”

“Come on.” Dad turns into a big bat and carry us all in his back.

“Shiro! You’re bleeding too much.” mom said and Shiro just smile as she close her eyes.

“Shirooo!!” Kousuke and I shouted.

“Don’t worry she just fainted. She lost too much blood.”

“Dad! Please hurry up. Shiro needs to be treated immediately.” Kousuke said.

“Hold on tight.”

“What happened to Shiro? Bring her to her room immediately. Chiya bring all the herbs now.”

We all waited outside Shiro’s room while Lady Tina treated her wounds.

“It’s all my fault.”

“No Chiya. It’s not your fault. It’s my fault, I’m the one who stab her.”

“No. You’re being controlled, so it’s not your fault. Besides this would never happen if I didn’t suggested to go with Aki."

“Mom it’s not your fault. You just wanted to make sure that dad is really alive.” Kousuke said.

“Dad? Chiya are they your…”

“They are our sons, Chiaki and Kousuke.”

“Lady Tina? Is Shiro gonna be alright?” I asked immediately as I saw Shiro’s door open.

“She needs to rest as her wounds are too deep especially in her right side.”

“I see.”

I stayed in Shiro's room all night.

“Mom?”

“Good morning Chiaki. I’m just going to clean Shiro’s wounds. I want to do something, since it’s my fault that she got hurt.”

“Mom stop blaming yourself. And is it okay for you to do this, Lady Tina said…”

“Don’t worry. I’m only cleaning Shiro’s wounds. Ehhh?!”

“What’s wrong mom?”

“Her wounds, it’s gone.”

“Gone? What do you mean gone?”

“Look.”

“Mom! Why are you exposing her stomach.”

“Just look, Chiaki.”

“Ehh?! It is really gone. Did it heal already? I thought it was deep.”

“What are you doing here?”

“Lady Tina, Shiro’s wounds…”

“Get out!”

“Lady Tina?”

“I said get out.”

Mom and I went out of Shiro’s room. We look at each other confused.

“Lady Tina?”

“I’m sorry for shouting.”

“No. It’s our fault. But what happened to Shiro’s wounds? Is it heal already?”

“Actually, Shiro is not human.”

“What?! What do you mean she’s not human?” I asked.

“She’s a crow demon. To be more precise, she is not just any crow demon but a princess.”

“Princess?”

“What do you mean?”

“She is the daughter of Hina and Yato. As you all know, crows have black wings. However, Shiro has white wings and it is not just any ordinary white wings. It can grant wishes.”

“White wings? Grant wishes?”

“Lady Tina, Shiro is awake.” Kousuke shouted.

(The end! I woke up after that.)

This is really what I dreamed last night. Yes, it is really detailed as I said before most of my written stories are based on my dreams. The two things that is not true or made up in my dreams is the name Lady Tina, Aki, Hina, and Yato. I don’t remember much of the name in my dreams. That’s why I made some up now just to tell my dreams.
