Susan will never forget what happened that day. It was a gloomy morning. Susan was jogging alone because her brothers usually won’t accompany her. Unfortunately, there came heavy rain as she passed by a small abandoned cottage.
She decided to wait at that cottage until the rain stop. While she stepped in, she sniffed some rotten things in the broken cardboard. She tried to open it but it was locked. She searched around her something that can unlock the door. She found a rusty knife on the floor and hit the lock.
Suddenly, a rotten corpse was falling as she opened the door. She was so terrified. She took a look at the corpse and she realized that it was a little girl who was missing last month. Then she tried to bring out the corpse but at that moment, she heard a lot of guys were hurting a disabled boy. She tried to reach out police but there wasn’t any available connection. She covered her nose and slowly get out from the cottage.
Without thinking, she left the corpse out from the cottage and got in back to help the disabled boy escaped from that place. While she tried to hide behind a big fern, one of those guys saw her and wanted to catch her. But she already hit that guy by stabbed his chest. She was shivering a lot but she tried to gain all of her strength to help that boy. She threw out her emergency alarm far away and those guys distracted. She got in and untied the disabled boy from a huge fence. She carried that boy out and burned up the cottage with an abandoned lighter before those guys chased them back.
Immediately, she stopped a villager who was just passed by the area. The villager helped her brought the disabled boy and the corpse to the nearest police station. As she was lodging the report, the corpse’s parents met her. They thanked to her because Susan found their daughter even they were so sad when they found out his daughter was killed by irresponsible people.

Author, and Mallow Colleges creative writing tutor @duneezewudds said in a recent class re submitting work to competitions etc, that it's not about the competition, it's about being 'read'. Something about that resonated with me, and so today I've glossed up and submitted two of my short stories to the world. It's about being read, even by just that handful of people. It's a start 😍 #buddingauthor #inspired #Irishwriter #writing #writer #shortstory #shortstorycompetition #dippingmytoe (at NightSchool.ie) https://www.instagram.com/p/B87STJ9naXk/?igshid=11m08mo9q4cee
