Have you ever thought about how cool birds are?

How cool is it that we have bite sized dinosaurs who could not only befriend people, but SING and TALK??

Think about how cool it would be to have an itty bitty shark, or a little talking crocodile. But this is a little DINOSAUR that could use an ipad to express emotions!!!

It’s my first time taking ADHD medication and I just realized The Wizard of Oz still exists in the universe of The Wizard of Oz.

If the books revolved around Baum receiving letters from Dorothy and documenting them, then the books exist in the Oz universe as history books.

This also means most adaptations exist as either documentaries or historical fiction.

If Ozians have tv and computers, the main 4 in book 1 (everyone’s immortal and doesn’t age in the book btw) probably watched the 1939 movie and picked out all the inaccuracies.

They can see everything you’re doing with your adaptations.

They probably even know about the fanfics.

An Oz character could be reading this right now.

I can’t even IMAGINE how bizarre Wicked must have felt to them (even though I love it).

Shower thought

You ever look at your activity feed and just watch someone go down liking a bunch of your stuff? Like sometimes there's a pattern and they're clearly going through a specific tag? Or sometimes they're scrolling down the list from your dashboard in the order they were posted?

Because I see that and my immediate thought is, 'Hell yeah, buddy. Glad you like it.'

Animals are kinda awesome, right?

Completely random, but could we please just appreciate how awesome animals are?

I am not even talking about a specific animal but just animals in general. They are so good at surviving and all have kinda their specific niché. There are so many kinda cool adaptions they have. Even those, we do not thing about.

Like, deer. We do not think of deer as especially good survivors, but they are actually pretty darn good at eating a lot of different shrub and bark in order to survive, even when the summer is dry or the winter is long and cold.

Sure, they often harm the environment (and many deer species are invasive, because white folks have brought them everywhere to hunt them) through this behavior. But the fact that they can survive like this is kinda awesome.

Or like, all those super weird deep see species, that manage to survive so many kilometers deep in the water, while basically everything else gets just crushed to pieces. (Even those millionairs in a fucking submesible.)

Or look at voltures. The most underrated species of birds, if you ask me. Sure, some of them kinda look ugly, but not only have they immunity to all sorts of sicknesses and toxins. They can eat whatever they find left over in the wild.

Or, heck, look at fucking worms! They can regenerate from so much fucking damage. Just cut one in half and you just got two worms. That is kinda awesome, isn't it?

I know, this one is kinda random. But... It was just something I was thinking about.

Animals are cool. We should talk more about that.

tell your friends you love them and tell them the things you love about them. tell him he has really pretty eyes, tell her you look forward to getting to see her every day in between classes, tell them their outfits are always on point and you wish you could do eyeliner that well. put a little love out into the world and you’ll be surprised at how much you get back in return

Do yall ever think about how painful Betty's fusion with Golb must've been? And I don't mean that in the emotional/phycological/mental sense. I mean physically. The room that was disgesting her was slowly but surely growing smaller and smaller, do you think that she was crushed to death in there, forced to hear her bones crack and break as she sat there with only one goal in mind: keeping Simon safe. Because to her, he was worth it. To her, his well being and sanity was worth any pain

I have to specify the bit about musical talent and a mysterious past, or else I could also be talking about the young version (pre-Fiennes, with hair and a nose) of an evil wizard written by a certain Problematic White Gal.
