I maaaay have been smacked with the sudden inspiration on how to translate this fucker into the ROTTMNT style, as in the original 2003, Ch'rell's design was.... weird, to say the least, but with Rise's style it actually translates really well and the colors do not look as jarring. Thought about making him pinker, but the original red-blue actually fits well in combo with Rise's style cause it's meant for colors like that. For those who dunno who the fuck this is: This is Ch'rell, AKA 2003's Shredder.

Karai should have been Shredder's biological daughter

You know the more I think about, the more it would have been a better idea for Karai to be Shredder's biological daughter.

Think about it: not only does it clear up the Leorai drama, but from a storytelling standpoint it also makes the fact that Shredder killed Karai's mother 10x more fucked up and impactful. Instead of the whole "My enemy is my father?!", Karai would have to come to terms with the fact that her biological father is a deranged psychopath who not only killed her mother due to a bitter vendetta against some guy in his old clan, but that he's also never taken accountability and instead chooses to chase a giant rat and turtles as opposed to nurturing his daughter and spending every day trying to make up for his mistake. He could be a humbled father trying to make things right, but instead he pushes the responsibility of his actions - and Karai - aside and gives Splinter all the blame.

This would lead Karai to have to make the decision to go against her own father after being under his manipulative influence for almost 2 decades. Whilst this would be good in the long run for the TMNT, imagine the emotional turmoil she'd have to go through whilst assisting the people she called enemies take down her own father. Splinter could still play a nurturing role for her as the father figure she never had; he could help comfort her through the pain of her loss and take her under his wing much like he did with April. This would also probably result in her and April having a closer and sister-like bond. On top of that, he'd be able to give Karai a more transparent depiction of Tang Shen, Shredder and his relationships with one another.

As for Tang Shen's role in this, I think she'd have married Shredder, but started to develop feelings for Splinter as she sees Shredder's darkness come to the surface and Splinter's light continue to shine. This is what would have sparked jealousy in Shredder, resulting in the ambush and fire that we see in canon.

You know how Shredder calls all of his henchmen by their last name except Xever?

And you know how it's heavily implied that Xever was abandoned by his parents?

I headcanon that the reason that Shredder only calls him by his first name is because Xever doesn't feel like he's apart of that family anymore, Shredder understands what it's like to not want to be apart of a family that you don't like (the Hamato family).

Shredder is an awful man but I like to think that he wouldn't torture Xever by calling him "Montes" all the time :(

Okay so what’s happening

So this is kind of like a prediction for Mutant Mayhem 2 I guess? So basically Shredder is sent to capture the turtles bc Cynthia ordered to him (she says that in the mid post credits scene)

So shredder beats all the turtles and he has like Leo pinned to the ground and has his hand blades against his throat and Leo is like WOAH dude uhm this is kinda scary

Idk it came to me before bed so I drew it out and it’s pretty accurate again

The actual shredder design is my own. It’s kinda like a mutant mayhem prediction on his design but also my own design idk lol I was having fun with it

Nah another reason I dislike TMNT 2012 is that they wasted this fine ass motherfucker right here

Like it was love at first sight for me when I saw Hun for the first time like he actually changed my brain chemistry I wanted this man so bad. Especially when he licked that hockey puck ? I was ready to risk it all and I was only like 12.

But they used him like twice and then we just never saw him again. TMNT 2012 really just wasted characters and storylines. We can’t have more Hun but we can have Leo crushing on his sister ? We can have Donnie being a thirsty fiend towards April every time she breathes and a stupid love triangle but we couldn’t have more Hun ?Like I’ll forever be mad, I wouldn’t even be mad if we had an episode where he pisses Shredder so he mutates him and forces him to be his underling as long as we got more Hun it would have been awesome to see him mutate into something cool.

I also love Hun even more because he reminds me of an evil Lou Jitsu, like if Lou Jitsu decided to be a crime boss instead of a movie star. Like we should have put 2012 Hun in Rise! At least they would have tried to do something with him in their extremely short run.

Anyways in short TMNT 2012 continues to be my least favorite and if you put me and Hun in a room together one of us is coming out pregnant and it’s not going to be me
