A common question and critique, both in feminist literature and in (online) feminist spaces, is ”Why aren’t the good men doing more for women? Why are they still so passive despite being the 'good' ones?”
Okay, so the answer is actually pretty simple.
At best, these self-proclaimed or so-called "good men" don’t care as long as it isn’t inconvenient for them personally.
At worst, they either secretly or openly enjoy women‘s oppression, humiliation, violation — both due to mere sadism and due to the fact that they actively benefit from it, personally as well as systemically.
That‘s why "good men" are nearly non-existent. Some might be allies when it comes to certain topics (though probably not for genuine women-oriented reasons, and yes, intention matters), however, they‘ll still be misogynistic and oppressive in other ways, or tolerate those who are.
And the concept of a "good men" who‘s "passive" is completely ridiculous. If you, as a member of the oppressor class who‘s advantaged by our systemic & worldwide oppression all the damn time, think that not doing anything makes you "good", you‘re merely a bystander, and hence a (silent) enabler. Not a "good man who‘s just being passive".
Silence is complicity.
They don’t deserve to be labelled as "good". Not harming us with their own hands is the barest minimum. And we deserve to raise our standards, and we also deserve that our sisters raise theirs.
Women for Women. That‘s it. That‘s the only way.

I have the BIGGEST side eye for anyone who says shit like 'celebrities aren't obligated to make political statements' or 'why do you even care what they think?'. Why the fuck would I want to support someone who sees what's happening in Palestine and has the power to inform their audience/fan base and simply doesn't? Why don't they care enough to say anything at all? How do they, as millionaires and billionaires with very real influence whether we want them to have it or not, not want to help? When they see these people suffering and begging to just survive, how do they continue about their lives and not WANT to speak out even once??
Like how do they see children being bombed and go 'oh, that's so sad...anyway, nothing I can do about it', when they absolutely can do something about it. Small content creators with only a few hundred people listening are doing more to help Palestine than Taylor Swift, Beyoncé or literally any other big-time celebrity with the power to both make massive change and preserve their careers through it all. So why, why the actual FUCK, would I want to support these celebrities in ANYWAY when I know that they are capable of ignoring what's happening in Gaza or any atrocity like this. Why would I give my time and possibly money to some cunt who can't get on Twitter for two minutes and post something as simple as 'I stand with Palestine' because sometimes that's all they need to fucking do!
Y'all can ask 'why do you even care what they think?' all you want, but I do care if someone I was openly supporting doesn't have the basic decency to want to help the people of Palestine when they are screaming to be heard. Where they stand on issues like this will ALWAYS be more important to me than their next album or TV show. Silence is compliance.

palestine is suffering a genocide & israel needs to decolonize from the river to the sea
if you think elsewise fucking block me. the emails i sent to my state representatives state my opinion on this (as a person from a native american family), so let me share it with you all below:
"Hello Rep.
My name is Finch. You might recognize it from previous awards you signed off on for me receiving in the city of (MY HOME CITY). I reach out now with urgency. You have governmental power, and there is a genocide occurring in Palestine, which the United States is fueling. While I know you alone do not have the power to influence American foreign policies, you have the power to spread information to other representatives in the House. Please take it upon you to do so. I am begging. Palestinians are begging. Even many Israelis are begging. We are not just begging for the United States to pull out of Israel, but to call for a ceasefire. Palestinians are dying every single day over land. Israel is a colonist state. Zionists are calling for a second trail of tears, but this time, in modern day Middle Eastern countries. America did this to the indigenous people of North America, and are now helping Israel do it to Palestinians. As a representative of Michigan, you firsthand should understand the importance of land to people. The Band of Natives in the upper peninsula and Mackinac Strait areas have been calling for pipeline changes and disposal, because the land belongs to them, just as Gaza belongs to Palestine.
Thank you much, Finch"

Was I surprised by how many Nazis there were? No, only by how few anti-Nazis there were. Silence is admittance.

So you are very vocal on the war on palestine, which is commendable. However, condemning other people who dont to the same is non- sensical. Do you know how many humanitarian issues we have in this world at all times you have never spoken up for? Nobody expects people to rally for Sudan and people who stay quiet on topics such as this arent condemned. So, go forward with your activism but unless you speak out on all other humanitarian issues you have no ground to critizise people who dont partake in what YOU think is important.
context: this is an ofmd fan upset i called taika waititi & co zionists and said you shouldn't support them
this isn't a "humanitarian issue" it's a genocide backed by your government and payed for with your taxpayer dollars and 24,000 people have been killed. silence IS complicity. what twisted logic is "there are other crises going on so i will do nothing"? also yeah man i'm not an expert on every world issue but if someone told me hey the person/people you're supporting are profiting off the sudanese genocide i would stop fucking supporting them as the bare minimum what is WRONG with you
