And like still bad, murder, nsfw, sicko psycho blah blah blah. Probably inaccurate lore.

Astarion had grand visions for his future. How could he not? After everything he had accomplished. A past slave turned usurper, amassing a power that his old master could only dream of. He had gone from a pathetic, scuttling whelp prowling the city streets to being free. Utterly and completely. With no brothers or sisters to compete with, the entirety of Cazador's estate was at his disposal.

And then there was the best part, the only reason he had managed to be here in the first place. The best and perhaps only good thing to ever happen to him. His very reason for living. You.

And now, you were so much better than who he had first met. He had loved you before the change, of course he did. But the depth of feeling you shared now was beyond comprehension. He owned you, body and soul. You were shackled to him for all eternity, forever blessed with the knowledge that no secrets were possible between the two of you. You weren't equals, no. Far from it. How could you be when you had been so willing to degrade yourself for him? But you were something better. Soulmates, fated by every unholy power that existed. You belonged to him, as he did to you. His ownership just... manifested in a more literal sense.

Not that it mattered. The difference between the two of you was miniscule in everyday life. He was too busy enjoying you to worry over petty power struggles with the center of his universe. No, Astarion wasn't wasting a single moment of his newfound freedom. What was the use of endless power if he wasn't going to have a bit of fun?

So while Astarion had plenty of aspirations for regional, and perhaps world domination (in his wildest dreams), he decided that he could start on that whenever. Eternity was a long time, and he saw no reason to start it at a sprint. Not when he had the time and money to enjoy you fully, both of you parasite and responsibility-free.

The first six months were spent solely into being cooped up together, exploring each other in every way imaginable. It had been one thing to fall in love on the road with adrenaline pumping in your veins. A near death experience on every horizon, versus quiet and peaceful nights together, with nothing to do but enjoy each other's company. Astarion was nearly surprised at just how easily he fell deeper and deeper in love with you as the time passed. Everything. You're body, you're mind, you're voice, you're charm, he was starving for all of it, at all times.

It had been a lovely six months, only interrupted by an impromptu reunion from Withers. It had been interesting enough, but the exposure to others just made Astarion realize how unwilling he was to let you go quite yet. No, his plans for Baldur's Gate could continue to wait. Instead of beginning his plans, he asked you to name anywhere in the world that you had dreamed of visiting. And he took your answer and ran with it, solely because he could. So off to Neverwinter you went, the both of you still sickeningly in love on the way. It was such a silly trip, mostly spent with you obsessing over their famous gardens and flowers. A subject that would have made Astarion’s skin crawl in a past life. But… seeing you smile as you sniffed every flowered plant you could find was too endearing for him to resist. It helped that you were very… open to his own interests, no matter where the urge may struck.

It was quite thrilling, to be powerful enough to get away with anything. He hadn’t been above killing anyone who saw your more public escapades, but for the few who he spared, he had more than enough coin to keep their mouths shut. You spent longer there than Astarion had ever anticipated, but things had just happened. The two of you bought a house on a whim, tired of inn prices when you could create your own home for a combined less gold. Before he knew it, you were buying the property next door as well, opening shop for your mage and witch brews. It was a fine enough life, interesting enough to hold Astarion’s attention when you both opened up a side business, a small but lively assaination agency. 

It was fun, killing those who were totally powerless to fight against him, deserving or not. Funnier still when he was able to do it with you. There had been so many blood filled nights that ended in lust-filled moans, Astarion would never fail to remember those years with an intense fondness. Nearly eight years passed before the two of you moved onto the next area, stopping for a few years in the countryside just for the hells of it. It was nice to take breaks from society to just enjoy each other, a tradition the both of you would keep throughout the decades. 

Your next stop was Waterdeep, with an unfortunate encounter with Gale himself. Unfortunate being that you still considered him a friend, and somehow convinced Astarion to help him with his next scheme. He was once again on the topic of stealing ancient magic books, enticing them with the promise of sharing their knowledge. One that he followed through on, but also one that took six years to keep. It had been… an experience to travel with Gale for that long, even if most of it had been working separately while communicating. But still, the constant communication had been trying, even if the knowledge you both received has been more than worth it. 

 But with that, you had no reason to stay. The two of you moved on, taking a break from the larger cities to explore smaller, more ancient areas. It was quite the experience, with some villages being as dull as a box of rocks, and others exposing magical secrets beyond what his old self could ever comprehend. It was through investigation into life in rural Faerun, and a fascinating one at that. One that only ended in three villages being burned to the ground and five murderers. All within the span of ten years. How much more of a peaceful time could one ask for?

It was nearly too peaceful, enough to finally drag Astarion out of the pleasant stupor he had been in. Everything in life for the past three decades had been wonderful and beautiful. But it was time to move on to better things. He had greater plans for the both of you, visions of your names staining every history book known to man. And it would all begin with securing Baldur’s Gate. 

He told you as soon as he was sure, more than ready for your worried response, “Are you sure we can?” 

The two of you were in bed together, your arms loosely draped over each other’s bodies. Your life of leisure had made you doubtful, a symptom that Astarion had expected. 

He sighed, tightening his hold on you as he answered, “Of course darling. With me by your side, there’s nothing to doubt.”

“But… I like what we have. Will… will we always just be doing plans for regional domination?”

Astarion almost rolled his eyes. He hadn’t survived this long to be naive to the benefits of leisure time. 

“Whoever said that vacations would never come into play?” He asked with a smirk, leaking in to kiss your cheek, “I swear you’ll have plenty more years alone with me darling, you can be sure of that.”

That seemed enough to appease you. You sighed, a tell tale sign that you were willingingly giving in, “Okay. Do we leave tomorrow?”

“Not until I make a few more arrangements,,” Astarion said, “You’ll know when it’s time.”

“Okay,” You nodded with a yawn, more than used to your future being semi-unclear. But that was okay. You knew to trust Astarion with your future, just one more thing that he loved about you, “Just try to give me some warning.”

“I’ll try,” Astairon lied, more than prepared to swoop you up in the middle of the night if the urge called for it, “Now rest darling. We’ll talk more in the morning.”

“I love you,” You sighed before letting your eyes slip closed. Instantly following with your natural instinct to obey.

Astarion smiled to himself as he watched you fall under, murmuring under his breath, “I love you too my treasure, more than you’ll ever know.”He meant it with every fiber of his being, the seemingly only constant of his existence. Maybe it was closer to an obsession than the pure love that people dreamed about, but he couldn’t care less. What you had was better. And with you by his side, anything was possible.

ACT ONE which contains more of a description-introduction to the main characters, as well as hints of a growing interest in you from Ghost.

-Joining the military had always been your fate, you supposed. After all, your parents and siblings, even your grandparents, had a history in the armed forces. And you couldn’t deny the excitement you felt seeing your parents come home with medals or the news of another country’s civilians finally safe because of men and women in camouflage. Of course, you ended up in the military, ready to follow in your family’s footsteps while hopefully making your own history. 

-In the beginning, it had all gone so well. You were nearly the top of your class, a feat not so easily accomplished by women in the corps as their male counterparts. There was certainly an air of respect from others towards you, although that’s not to say that there wasn’t jealousy or misogyny among your peers. 

-Eventually, you were recruited for a more elite program consisting of task forces that conducted high stakes missions. And on the plane to your first deployment with your new task force, you couldn’t help but feel giddy and nervous. 

-You were experienced, this being your fourth deployment. Yet, you were still nervous. It would be a challenge to grow accustomed to a new team, especially one that had already bonded together. You just hoped that they would make some room for you too. 

-All you could do was hope and wait to see what would happen. If you put your best foot forward, maybe things would work out well quickly.

-For weeks, Price had been blabbering about a new addition to their team, “hand-picked by the high-ups.” 

-Some of the men had been excited,  already thinking about how to mess with the new guy. Soap and Gaz had been constantly making jokes and planning silly pranks in preparation for the mystery person’s arrival. 

-And yet, they had all noticed how Price had been a bit sterner these past few days, not tolerating some of the men’s comments. Something was certainly up. 

-And Ghost, knowing that a new addition would already stir the dynamics, was beginning to get pissed off. How could he be angry with someone he hadn’t yet met? Well, he figured that if Price of all people was acting different because of the new bastard, everything could easily go to shit. So, he stayed his old self. Even more bitter, even, as he anticipated what was to come. 

-And, oh, were his suspicions wrong.

-Stepping into the vividly lit hall, you rubbed your eyes gently, a bit unready to meet your new crew for however long you were needed. 

-Stopping in front of the door that would end all you had once known, you knocked and turned the handle. And you were trapped from then on.

-It was completely silent. Soap was nearly sitting on the edge of his seat, though he slouched backward in an attempt to look cool. Price sat at the front of the room, a few files he had just reviewed with the men in hand. Gaz sat too, albeit more professionally than Soap. König was silent as usual, but he seemed to be in a better mood than usual. 

-It was Ghost who was “off” today. He was a silent, dark sky before the storm. Not restless, just ready. 

-And so, when YOU walked in, beautiful (h/c) hair, knowing (e/c) eyes grazing over each man in the room, a well-fitting uniform revealing your form, he knew trouble would be the only thing he saw for a long time. 

-He watched the others: Soap’s immediate cheeky grin that you brushed off, Gaz’s lifted eyebrows that you slightly mirrored as if to ask what?, König’s usual silence, and Price’s nod that you responded to with an official, “Hello, Captain.”

-He saw the look you gave him — a hint of shock (most likely at his mask) with a veil of nonchalance. Oh yes, you would be a problem. 

-Price proceeded to introduce you to the team — (Code Name.) He spoke briefly about your experience before letting you say a few words about yourself. 

-So, you did, and you found that most every had a good reaction to you — save for the one with the skull mask (you couldn’t tell if the one with the hood was receptive or not, but his body language was open, so you assumed that there was no issue.) 

-But the skull guy, he was definitely annoyed with you. You’d bet that he’s just another sexist and that he’d make your life hell, but why put money on something you already knew you’d win?

-After that, Price explained the next mission and the meeting concluded with the promise of showing you around the facility so you could get settled in. 

-You would be here for a while.

-Your first mission with the boys was tonight at 22:00 hours. It sure as hell would be an all-nighter as you had to enter a compound where suspected Russian drug dealers were providing massive amount of opium, coke, and heroin to the locals, as well as funding terrorism in the area. 

-While strapping on your gear, you reminisced over the past few days. 

-You and Soap had a steady relationship already. Not romantic, but there was plenty of friendly fire and friendly flirting respectively between you two. He was one of your favorites on the team, given his ability to take a joke, although his ability to take a hint could use a little work. 

-Gaz was alright, although you two didn’t really talk much outside of training, working out, or drills. He was always ready to let you sit next him during meals, though, which was something you greatly appreciated. 

-König was quiet, as usual (as you had been told), but was quite shy, as you had discovered. After teaming up with him during a drill, you discovered that he was actually just shy and apologized profusely after giving you several bruises on the ribs. A gentle giant, but a damn good fighter on top of that, you had a mutual respect for each other. 

-And Price, of course, maintained a steady relationship with you, just as he did with all of his team members. 

-Ghost, though, was just plain odd to you. Whenever you entered a room that he was in, it felt as though his eyes were pinned to your back. Whenever you talked, he looked at you, even if you were discussing something completely irrelevant with someone else. Whenever you worked out, he chose to be near you, even if there was plenty of other equipment. 

-You just assumed that he was trying to make a point: I’m better. It felt like he was trying to scream it to you silently. No matter what you did, he could do it better. Your original suspicions were correct — he was an asshole. 

-But, you couldn’t do anything about it, since he was your superior. 

-Your thoughts were interrupted by a sharp knock on your door. Ghost opened it a moment later, wearing his usual combat gear and plastic mask. If he wasn’t so damn intimidating, you would have made fun of him trick-or-treating year round. 

-“You’re supposed to wait until I open the door, you know,” you commented, finally grabbing your helmet and duffel bag. 

-He was silent for a moment before speaking. “You were taking too long. We’re all already in the truck.”

-“Well, not all of us,” you responded, already slipping past him, leaving him behind in your room. Heavy footsteps followed you, his annoyance tapping out a rhythm. You smirked a bit, happy to have gained a point in your little game. 

-You shook your head slightly, realizing you had to be serious. This was your first real chance to prove yourself to the team — the most important one you’d get. 

-Soon enough, you and the boys were on the road, ready to complete the mission. Sunday confessions

This is going to be a silly confession because I genuinely feel this topic is a dead horse, but my concern is of the mental health of stans in this aprt of the Internet, so here it goes. Some solo Tom fans are not really fans of who he is, but what they want him to be.

There is a blog who I dont want to mention cause I feel that they are entitled to their opinions, who seem very frustrated that Tom is allegedly doing SM4 and that fans aren't outraged with the fact his career isn't being steamrolled into prestige cinema outside the machine of MCU.

These fans are similar to CE fans, no shade.

I can understand the frustration cause Chris Evans fans also were in annoyance with the state of his career, post MCU. Chris Evans fans also hate his wife too so there's that, lol. Some Tom fans dislike the fact that he is just with Z and has no identity outside of it other than being a bf. Valid to some degree.

Now, let's bring some reality back into this. Stans need to understand that they don't know what Tom doing behind the scenes. They don't know what's in his head or his personal feelings. That tweet I linked was a very good observation in Stan culture cause some fans genuinely believe that Tom's accomplishments and actions are linked to them. It's a scary position to be cause now you are on the Internet spewing negativity towards tomdayas or anyone who celebrates their relationship and are in bubble cause you all lack nuance.

To be fair, Tom isn't taken seriously as an actor. Him doing a play is the best way to be taken seriously cause the theatre is the actors medium. He signed to do a 4th film for the MCU. You can't blame anyone but him for that. He's grown and is gonna do what he wants. If you don't like it, unstan. There are plenty of yt male actors who are doing prestigious films and Oscar buzz films to stan. The thing is you can't cause let's be honest we all love Tom and there's something about him that you can't help but root for.

He likes pics of Z, he even likes pics where he's just the photographer for Z. He lives tomdayas pics. He personally loves that role.

You have to meet ppl where they are at not what you want them to be. You have these high standards for a stranger, I can only imagine what you expect for ppl in your everyday life. Probably more leniency.

Pls stan culture is meant to be fun!!! Don't internalise or jump into conclusions or conspiracy due to what you don't know. Judge want you actually know through facts. And get help if you need it.💜

First of all...Whew! Those tweets! WOW! Can I say? Completely, 100% agree. 👏🏾 This is what is at the crux of stan culture and social media addiction, and celebrity obsession.

I agree. I think there are SOME fans of Tom who are truly genuinely fans of his, but they want his career to look a different way, or to be what THEY want it to be, instead of just letting go of control, being a passive fan, and allowing his career to be whatever it's going to be.

One thing about me is that I'm usually a passive fan of whoever I'm a fan of. While I would love my faves to do certain roles, I'm not out here getting angry or upset if they aren't doing roles that I personally would love to see them do. I just go with the flow. I'm happy whenever I hear of a new project announcement for one of my faves, and I let things go!

Don't get me wrong, I think it's cute, adorable, and lovely that Tom is so supportive of Z, and some of the cute things they do in their relationship is just really adorable and makes us all believe in love again. 🥰

The PROBLEM that I'm seeing though is that Tom isn't autonomous from his relationship and his career. It's cool that fans want to stan Tom because of his cute "boyfriend" behaviors, but Tom is first and FOREMOST an A-C-T-O-R. An actor should be admired for their career and their WORK, NOT their relationship. The relationship is just the icing on the cake (imo). 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think the problem is that some stans are mainly associating Tom with his relationship, and aren't really giving credit to his career and his work. That's demoralizing imo. Any actor that you are a fan of should be admired primarily because of their work. Who they are as a person, and any "boyfriend" behavior is like secondary and just icing on the cake imo. Granted, you're not going to be a "stan" over every good actor out here, and I get it. But Tom isn't some "TV Personality" or "reality star" or "influencer". So his relationship shouldn't be taking precedence over his acting career imo. He's an ACTOR first and foremost. Jmho. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm sorry, but I wholeheartedly disagree with this. Tom IS taken seriously in the industry as an actor. He wouldn't have gotten the role in "Cherry", "TCR", "TDATT", Romeo & Juliet, or be considered by Sam Mendes for "1917" if he weren't taken seriously as an actor in Hollywood. He wouldn't have been nominated for a Critic's Choice Award this year if he weren't.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but some of you all really need to get off of FilmBro Twitter and come back to reality.

Mommmyyyyy!!! Guess what? It’s my birthday today! Woo!

For the past couple of days, I’ve been really excited to tell you. I’m just a very shy person… I also am very self-conscious of my birthday. I’m working on self-love, but for some reason on my birthday I feel like I have to be even more behaved. I just go nonverbal… I feel like if I celebrate, it would look selfish. I’m just so used to working for others, I forgot to work for myself- oops! Even telling you this, feels like I’m being mean 😭.

i am even more tired today 🙈 but this is just a sign for me to be extra judicious about where i spend my energy! 🍋 in the past, horrible sleep like i just had would've made me feel like death, BUT i have activities i genuinely look forward to doing today! ☺️

lil life update

I feel a little silly as I vented about being unemployed like three weeks ago, but I am now officially a middle school choir and orchestra teacher!❤️It's been 3 days and I am already exhausted haha. I can't explain how good it feels to teach music again, it literally feels like someone put back a piece of my soul. I love the kids, even with all their glorious sass and mood swings. There's definitely been plenty of challenges and I've been feeling that imposter syndrome pretty hard core (especially considering I was called, interviewed, and hired literally two days before school started), but I am still very happy.

That being said, I probably won't be updating my fics as much as I have a list a mile long to accomplish (what are my lesson plans for Monday? idk i'll figure it out tomorrow sometime). But I am still writing a little bit at the end of each day, if nothing else to remind myself that adult humor exists too 😅But fear not, I'll still in the process of commenting on all the wonderful twiyor fics and making sure our favorite spy doesn't get too big of a head in my current wips.

My husband also got home from a two-week work trip that took waaaaaaay too long (I am very much a clingy wife, sue me), and it's been fun decorating my apartment for fall and desperately wishing for Halloween to come sooner. I'm super looking forward to finally meeting @firewoodfigs in person in a couple weeks! This community has been so very kind in the royai and twiyor fandoms and I never expected to make such wonderful friends. Time to go buy some more apple-scented candles 💕

Decided to post for the 12th of October day. A little drabble of the Ll with MC in the frightful month.

Felix Iskander Escellun

Gentle boy is stoked for a month of disasters waiting to unfold. Magic spells to test on Sage. 

Custom costumes you help him make on the whim to wear throughout the spooky holiday (gnome, wizard, vampire *again*, skeleton, shapeshifter, or reaper) so many choices to ruin him in by scaring him senseless for every day on the calendar.  

Participating in a wine game you two created by saying a Halloween festive word (neither can repeat words you or the other have said already. If so, take a sip. The winner is the least drunk or the one who hasn't taken the last sip of wine from the bottle. *hint* it gets heated to the point your both yelling at each other slurring your words. "I said caramel popcorn a minute ago. You-you rough rider of cheating thespian's!!", he snarls at you wiggling a finger. Furrowed brows you smack his hand, " My poor sir, you're the one who stole my word first. I...MC was the one to spit it out first you pumpkin headed looney!!" *hic* stumbles over each other to fall together in a fit of giggles. (Anisa in the background. "You two had enough for the night."😅)

Decorating the manor and halls with Felix's taxidermy creations he spent his valuable time on. He feels accomplished more so than taking a nap 20 minutes ago in your lap. Send rapid fire on praises till he passes out from your sly smile. Breath down his neck to spook him and to see his pout. Give his taxidermy names or nicknames for fun. He's never felt more appreciated than right now for his creations.

Tell him he looks ravishing. Don't be shy. He lives to hear your sweet words. Kiss his rosy cheeks after hugging him from behind to show off your costume. Twirl for him. Admires you respectively. 

Care for a treat. Has pockets full of peppermint sticks with caramel lollipops to hand out on a whim you had a sweet tooth. Feeds you and pinched your cheeks. Sometimes will lick his lips to make you wobble on your knees. Giggles...he truly is a nuisance in his own hollow way.

 Grabs your hand to go to his homemade fort he made for the two of you to read for a restful night of mischief in fantasy land. He listens to your voice on repeat. Sometimes creates shadows with his hands to roleplay a scene for your eyes only. Very invested on nailing his characters by adding dramatic effects. For extra scenes you tell him to save the special scenes for when the two of you are alone. His face is stuck in a red hue for the rest of his waking days. 

Anisa Anka

Gives out candy to any kids who visit her at the marketplace she volunteers for the monthly festival of Pumpkin season.

Loves to carve silly faces in the pumpkins or apples she finds to decorate for the month. You two actively engage on one-to-one fake duals to put on a show for Porriman dwellers for entertainment purposes. The crowd finds it out of this world. Cheers and claps can be heard from every direction. The two of you are pleased but sweaty to the point you want to pass out right then and there.

Her costume (Alien, Minnie Mouse *her favorite*, Jack frost, dragon tamer, mother nature, and cowgirl) Please tell her her legs and thighs are lovely beyond words. Bow down to her. Please do. She is so charming in the seasonal colors.

Massage her shoulders while she drinks her pumpkin spice latte you made for her to warm up. Watch her shoulders relax and a sigh escapes her. Tell her to wear booties you bought her to shuffle around in on her days off. Sit her by the fire and hold her till she falls asleep.

Making candy apples with her. Some of the caramel and melted candy are burnt but the apple is crispy. Add whatever additional sweets like candy corn, chocolate, peanuts, fudge or strawberry syrup you wish to add to fill your stomach with. 

Telling you cursed stories she's heard from her "fellow" knights that ends up looking her for the rest of the day. PARANOID. She is on high alert for any criminals or drunks though you try to grab her attention to let her enjoy herself for once. "Crime never ceases, Mc. Don't forget that I made a vow to stand up to protect you myself," a timid smile presents itself on her round face. "Neither does JUSTICE!," hands entwined a laugh escapes the two of you as you venture toward a new adventure.

Classic till the end. She will want to conquer her fear of clowns. At the end, trials and error, she just pulls you closer into her chest at night with a candle in her hand. Bed sheets clutched around the two of you in matching nightgowns. You worry at her wide-eyed stare at the dresser in front of you, until she falls asleep with her eyebrows raised.

Sage Lesath

This man is unhinged for the entire month. Keeps his tail away from Stella and Urchins roaming below his thick ankles. Admires pranks. Despises Halloween pranks or Felix's experiments that target him during the cold season.

He has you tied to his hips at all times. Searches for wanted criminals for bigger bounties. Secretly saving up to buy you two accessories for your homemade outfits. (Would dress as a nymph, mafia boss, banshee, werewolf, samurai, or lizard man). At one point he accidentally kept tearing the fabric of his costume. You just fix it throughout the day. Grateful for your patience with his messy self. You assure him his claws are the minimum concern and that you just want him to enjoy being apart of the experience.

Mazes are a BIG no! Him and tulsi tried it when they were younger. He immediately lost her. Then again, his sense of smell was not trained to pinpoint a person and rather for food. You wave off his frowning face. Drag him to an cartoon artist. Eases his worries and struggles to sit still for a while. You have to legit sit on his lap for him to focus on his attention on you. The artist draws you two with funny expressions. More saliva coating down sage's chin staring at you with googlely eyes. You two laugh for a couple hours showing off your new favorite picture.

 Has zero tolerance for magic unless it double-backs on Rime and felix. He recently asked those two to keep him out of any "malarkey" the two create for this month. Felix and rime tie "magical" balloons to sage's tail to wake him up stuck to the ceiling. (Cue meme: Are those Helium Ballons?...Yes) He curses the silly boys laughing their butts off on the slime-stained carpet. You and anisa sip your tea with your legs crossed marveling at the trio before you.

*gasp* karaoke!! At any bar you two visit that sage isn't banned from...you dance clumsily upon the drunk patrons. Will dip you occasionally to lift you up by the thighs and spin you till you puke. Sorry not sorry. He will definitely have sour candy in his pockets to snack on when you take a break to clear your throat. Kisses your forehead and leaves you to ponder on his swaying tail wrapped around your waist. Grab his collar and smooch his neck. He spits his drink out. Mission accomplished.

Throw pumpkins to see your strength endurance. You make a game of it. Who can throw the farthest? Later, you and he bake the seeds to share with the others. And if there are leftover intact pumpkins you bake a pumpkin pie. Yum!

Can and should give out candy to urchins that knock on the door of Fanthom. Spook them a little. Compliments every single one's costume or respects those who did not wear a costume. Sometimes doesn't notice the same kids coming to the door. They switched costumes with each other to fool the cat man who gives out a handful of candy. Luckily, sage and anisa bought three bags of candy earlier the week before. Hug him forever and thank him for his existence.

Rime Solano Varela

He should be the definition of terrifying with his lack of empathy and psychopathic tendecies. He's slowly working on it with you. Anyways you made him a costume. (I can imagine him as a ninja, plague doctor, assassin, spy, shinigami, or wendigo). Compliments you to the extent he can see the pomegranate tint coating your entire face. He haunted his threats and killing you for now. Just in case, anisa and felix confiscated his knives for the coming holiday. Shrugs his shoulders in irritation," Excessive but fair."

Absolutely! Plays! Pranks! No one is safe. Ask you to help him for the sake of getting sage and the others. Mostly sage. You probably don't witness the glimpses he takes in your direction when you look away from him. A smile escapes him from time to time. He contemplates your relationship to the point in time (wherever you're at in the frenemies era). Sociable to you little by little about felix mainly. Maybe you or himself one day. 

Scares crows or black cats off. He's not superstitious. He just doesn't want the mess in his personal area or surroundings of mischief. Twirls a pocket knife. (MC sweats in background)"Relax. If I wanted another corpse hanging over Fanthom, you are the last decorative ornamental I want to show to the world," his smirk makes you slap his butt and run up ahead of him in a huff. Shock for a second. Then chases you into the forest to pin you down. *cough* thats all I'll tell you. 

Sets up Fanthom tower like a haunted house to obnoxiously scare people for his amusement. *hint* Do Not ask him were he got the"fake" blood from. Intentionally has skulls along with felix taxidermy to hang on the stone walls or ceilings. Scented cinnamon candles are a must. Oops, a hand in the winery. Not really, it's a ice hand he carved to expand his devilish inquiries.

Has a couple spells to mess with you. For example, one day you decide to cross boundaries and touch his cold hand. As soon as you grab his hand you feel bolts of electricity shock your core. Ouch!! He loses it at your attempt to punch him in the chest. Later, you get him back. 

Drinks warm apple cider with a cinnamon stick clinking glasses with you. Dresses with a thick black wool crop top. And Burgundy pants with chains dropping on the side. A pink shawl is tied around his waist to cover his swishing tail. Works on training to keep up his abs. Will never give that up. His words, specifically. You can't blame him. A little jealous of his work effort and diet schedule.He still eats caramel and chocolate candy.

Without knowing you two fall asleep on the couch waiting for Felix to make lemon tea. With the rain padding the windowsill outside and the romance novels, you read lull you two to sleep. When felix returns with a tray of tea and snacks he sees you drooling on rime's shoulder. And him nuzzling into your ruffled hair. After you two wake up you're both in denial. He continues his work with a furrowed brow and you as well. Felix shakes his head. Although, the deer's white speckled face burns brilliant in the fall season for his outlook on life is surely changing for the better.

Visions, Voices, and Awkward Hypotheticals sounds fun. What is it about?

So glad you asked about this one!! 😄

Now, to keep myself from sounding completely kriffing bonkers when I explain where this idea came from, I want to briefly point out the obvious: Rebels is a kids’ show. It’s aimed at a younger audience than The Clone Wars and avoids getting into the details when addressing serious/mature/adult themes — as you’d expect and want in a kids’ show.

That said…there are always some not-so-kid-friendly implications which simply can’t be scrubbed…so, as far as I can tell, they’re hidden in plain sight and only hinted at vaguely. 🤫 Or the writers just didn’t realize what they were implying.

In the case of Season 3’s “Visions and Voices” episode, it’s mentioned explicitly why the Nightsister spirits bargain with Maul for flesh and blood: they need to rebuild their clan. What’s not explained, though, is why they don’t possess Maul and Ezra (two males) on the spot. What’s also not explained is why they don’t hesitate to possess Sabine…or why Possessed Sabine gives Ezra that smirk when she first opens her creepy-green-mist-eyes…or why she later stalks him (practically pounces on him) while Possessed Kanan kneels on the altar like he’s got nothing better to do because as far as the spirits are concerned, he doesn’t…or why the Nightsisters seem to think ‘rebuilding their clan’ is best accomplished by making exactly one dubious deal with exactly one dubious ex-Sith Lord for approximately two living bodies. 🧐 (Basically, the Nightsister spirits are pretty intense Sabezra shippers…so long as both Sabine and Ezra are under their influence. 😅)

To be honest, this interpretation is probably a little off the wall…but it still makes for a perfect missing scene fic — and Visions, Voices, and Awkward Hypotheticals features Sabine and Ezra unpacking what I hinted at above after leaving Dathomir. Between Sabine’s fledgling crush, Ezra being fairly oblivious, and lots of banter-y silliness, I think it’ll be a fun one. 🤪

“The spirit was stalking you, Ezra. I was along for the ride.”

“But you —” He caught her glower and quickly corrected himself. “— the spirit, I mean, just wanted one of its creepy friends to possess me, too. Right?”

Hetalia dubbed in English is like the crack version of Hetalia

Don't get me wrong, I like some scenes (for instance the flashback of America's Independence War with England is sooo good in the dub as well) and some of the VAs were so spot on with their acting (like France, Germany, America, Russia, Prussia or Lithuania), but the writing overall has way too many slips, jokes that range from silly to legit offensive, and plain wrong translations/understanding of the content too. Like Austria mistaking Chibitalia for Chibiromano (he says "this is Italy's brother" while referring to freaking Feli) when in the og version Austria points at Chibitalia but says something like 'I'm giving you his older brother' (and Feli is crying and calling out for Romano). Or again, Austria saying 'now I understand why Holy Rome liked him so much' in the scene where Feli's real gender is revealed and it makes the visuals confusing ... Originally he says he'll have to get Feli new clothes and this explains why he's checking clothes while saying that line, in the dub the entire point of that shot is ruined for the umpteenth made-up joke (yeah sorry for bringing up two Austria examples but that's the character whose lines I remember the best 😅).

And I don't want to get to all the times the dub simply mistreats the original characters by making them say things that completely get in the way of letting the audience understand their real personality and especially their nuances (making Poland say his kitchen is full of cockroaches when really he just said "I'd love to cook in a kitchen like this!"?? Fucking uncalled for). The dub takes away so much of the characters' real nuances and replace them with silly, or even distasteful jokes. Like, okay, if this was an abridged series it would be AMAZING, but it's kind of annoying when there are people who rightfully decide to only watch a dub trusting the writers to have adapted the original content in the best way possible and they end up with that. Because it prevents its audience from understanding the characters for how they were really meant to be. This is pretty inexcusable from a mere adaptation point, even if it's funny. I don't think they should've taken these many liberties because it backfired in many ways.

It's even funnier how their reasoning for changing the dialogue so much was "the original content is controversial, hence not easily marketed", and then they doubled down on the racist jokes, lack of common sense and overall bullshit.

Most voice actors actually did an amazing job in terms of acting, but it being enjoyable was accomplished despite the dub direction, not thanks to it.

Sorry if I sound harsh but the dub has always bugged me ... In the past even more than it does now. Now, yes I watch clips sometimes and it even makes me laugh but I still find it inexcusable as an actual adaptation because it fails so badly at it that I'd advise any Hetalia fan who only watched the dub to watch it again subbed asap.

Of course it's not a crime to prefer the dub, no hard feelings. You do you.

As I’m nearing the end of pregnancy, I’d found myself tossing and turning a lot the past few nights. Some nights not sleeping at all 😅

Personally, I know it comes with the territory, so it wasn’t the end of the world. I did notice, however, how it was effecting my homemaking.

So in the middle of random conversations I was having with my husband last night, I prayed to God that He give me peace and rest so that I can wake up before 3 in the afternoon, and have the strength and energy to enjoy more of my day.

We went right back to talking about other things like I hadn’t just done that 🤣

But God, I fell asleep last night at about 3 am, & woke up this morning at 11 am (that’s a *major* accomplishment for pregnant me 💀)

I’m writing about this as I make our grocery list to tell you that He absolutely listens.

So just pray. Even when it feels silly or excessive 🤍

I’ve been sitting on this for years because I always felt it was kinda silly/didn’t exactly know how to explain it but it’s gotta go somewhere at this point…

So even though I’m not as big a fan of Steven Universe as I used to be, the fusion bit always stuck with me as one of The Best concepts both because of the design potential and because of how they can reflect all kinds of relationships (platonic, goal-oriented, romantic, toxic, etc). Sometimes my brain goes all fic-y and thinks about an AU where fusion is possible in the SW universe for a good number of beings but due to how they’re made, clones’ capability of fusing is very touch-and-go: Sometimes it works and the fusion is deemed acceptably battle-worthy (a la the mega Ruby) but in other cases, either their genetic tampering makes it difficult or the fusion is deemed too unstable/unacceptable and thus restricters are put on.

The Batch, unfortunately, cannot fuse amongst themselves because the tampering meant they can either have their enhancements or they could still fuse, but generally they can’t do both. At least not with each other.

They can, however, fuse with their respective S/O, however. Or rather, the S/O can fuse with her Batcher (or anyone, if the fusion is needed to accomplish a specific goal). Kinda like how Steven can fuse with humans, who can’t do it without him in the equation.

I’m especially a sucker for the idea of how a Batcher might fuse with a fuse-capable S/O or what features they might display but this is already getting long enough and I dun wanna pester you further 😅 I just needed to finally tell somebody about this.

(Sorta Angst Bonus: Somebody who’s been with or has known the Batch for a while gets so stunned by them getting separated from Crosshair/his seeming betrayal that they find themselves unable to form a stable fusion for a good while [read: most of what takes place during s1]. Considering fusion is a big deal for them and reflective of a mental and emotional state, it only furthers the stress and depression of it all. However, I’d like to think that they snap out of it at one point while saving Omega, creating their first fusion in a long while born out of a protective sort of love one might give a sibling. They feel forever indebted to her for it in a way.)

I'm posting this ask as-is cause theres a lot of good detail here, and I wouldn't want to smother it. Maybe some of my followers want to add comments? I love both SW and SU, so this is a cool crossover idea!!!

Idk if you remember me, I'm the internship anon from last month. First of all, I want to thank you and the nice people who shared their advices in the notes, they helped me with my nerves. I did not 1 but 2 interviews in two different companies and wasn't chosen in neither at last 😅 I feel kind of a failure, but my tutor has put me and 2 other classmates in a place where there's now an ex student who did his internship there last school year and got hired and since this place has its own system which is a bit hard to learn, the bosses want to leave at least one of us hired if we perform well, so I'm not complaining at all. Tomorrow is my first day and I'm not nervous, but I would lie if I say I'm not intimidated by this new experience. Second, don't look at it as a failure, but that it wasn't the right place for you. My college professor used to come into my retail job and asked me what the hell I was doing, not because she was knocking retail, but because she was my psychology professor. 🤣🤣🤣 I'll tell you what I told her, the right opportunity just hadn't hit. Then I ended up in the job from hell for about three years, but it taught me that I could do anything. Because of those weird roads, I'm in the best possible job that allows me to do everything I want. Maybe I don't have as much writing time as I'd like right now, but hey, can't win them all.

The place just wasn't for you, but you put the tunnel vision on. Know what you want and apply the determination to get what you want. You'll get it. Know that even if you make mistakes, it's a lesson learned and sometimes a faster way to a goal. Most importantly, a job is not your life, it's a means to earn a living, but there are other jobs out there. You can always get another job, but it's much harder to find relationships that fulfil you. You won't starve if you have the determination, so don't let this psych you out. It's a job, it will never be as important as the relationships and experiences that bring you joy.

I'm proud of you. You made it to the job interview. You pushed past your fears. Pat yourself on the back. Who cares if you don't make it to the finish line with the fast sprinters. Who knows what advantages they had, and who cares. You're making it to the finish line. Hell to the Yeah! Good job! Appreciate each goal you achieve. Okay, it took me quite a while to answer this one, because I kept postponing it. I'm sorry 😅 hehe, my life is a mess

But I loved the question tho!

I don't have strong feelings about book! Effie, but I would say, she does bring some light hearted moments to the story, which wouldn't happened with any other character. It's also funny, that Effie being older than Katniss, it's always portrait as her being more naive and a bit silly. Which shows the big impact our upbringing has on our critical thinking skills.

Effie seems to lack it, due to her being a Capitolite. And I myself know a few people just like this. They have been born rich and seem to not think about anything that serious. Just lately, I have been introduced to a group of guys in their mid-20s, who actually believe having a dialog in your own head makes your crazy.

Everyone has met a Effie in their life at some point. A person that makes you think: "How did this human survive on their own?" And somehow they just did.

Due to Katniss' narrative, we rarely see Effie accomplish something other than bringing Katniss and Peeta from A to B on time. There is one other time and it's only mentioned from Effie herself, where she is actively helping Katniss and Peeta. She, just like Haymitch, was talking to the sponsors, since there was no second victor from 12 at that time.

I like to imagine her being dead serious then, even if she makes playful little jokes to charm the sponsors. Now she had two tributes she cared about and I think she really tried her best helping them in every way possible.

This shows that you don't have to be smart like Haymitch or eloquent like Peeta or strong like Katniss to be part of the team. You just have to put in effort... which almost sounds like Effie.

Sometimes I feel like, book! Effie didn't get enough scenes with Katniss, because I would have loved to see more of her. And the movies actually did it quite well. I would even dare to say, that Effie was one of the aspects of the story, whose didn't got worse in the adaptation.

Elizabeth Banks did such a great job at this and I think she is the reason people love Effie so much. (Imagine movie! Effie and weird Barbie- both played by Elizabeth Banks- would meet)

And I would say, Effie was oblivious about her privilege up to the point, where the quell was announced. And if she wasn't aware by then, she definitely was after the quell ended prematurely.
