Silver in a pretty dress, that ISN'T her usual one!

Some of you may already know this, but I LOVE drawing frilly and poofy dresses! ESPECIALLY when they're moving!!!

I love the ways the folds rearrange themselves!!!

This first dress wasn't really inspired by some barbie doll dress, just a random redesign I guess??

I feel like the lineart isn't that visible though, but I'm too lazy to fix it lol

Aight, up next is a request!!

This dress was requested by @tea-132 and I thank them!!!

It's REALLY pretty and I would've missed out on it otherwise aqnd it was extremely fun to draw so thanks a lot :DD

And yes, before you ask, she will come in more poses I just need to figure them out and nothing seemed more fitting for this dress than the 'joyful-walk-with-a-new-skirt' pose!!

I will say that I totally put no effort into the design on the outer lace and ibis Paint was a giant help with the stars (I love you ibis, marry me <333)

I'm happy with how it turned out and be prepared to expect more dresses soon

I've been having some thoughts about Violet's design and I thought might as well get them out there.

So, compared to the other keys we have seen so far, who have just generic looking gems in different colours as their eyes, Violet's eyes don't have that "generic gem" look to them. In my opinion, they look like opal? And they match the underside of her dress. (Which is also a first, in the sense that all the other keys' bodies/clothes so far have just a single solid colour to them)

Edit: Now that I think about it, if Violet's eyes are supposed to be opal, then maybe all the keys have a different gemstone/birthstone as their eyes. Like, maybe silver's eyes are supposed to be tourmaline and bronze's are emerald?

Also, her skin and clothes have a more "glittery" look to them than the other keys who have a more shiny metallic look.

So, does any of this have a deeper meaning to it, or is it all just a way to create more unique looking keys? 🤔

Chase performs mini concerts for the keys. Silver is ALWAYS supportive. (But Deacon can hear Chase through the walls [he's so loud] and *he's* not very supportive of Chase- when he's trying to read, at least.)

Episode 33 propose a question: What would be Deacon's job if he wasn't going to be a doctor? My proposal to that question is that he becomes a English teacher. Just think for a moment, he takes notes on the places and people of the books... Okay, fine I tell you the real reason why I want his job to be a teacher. I kinda wanted Chase to rant about how princes are weird to a group of people. So yeah during character analyzes, Chase along with Buddy show up and rambles. The students know that he doesn't have a teaching degree but Chase warms up to them.

It's MY turn to overanalyze something, but instead of something that doesn't need it, I'm gonna overanalyze something that I'm pretty sure is obvious to everyone else lol

So the question is: Is Silver welded onto her dress or is it seperate but just happens to be made of the same magical material as her?

I have no clue💀💀

This all started out as the question: Does Silver even HAVE thighs? Are they just part of her dress??

Well...

Using the fact that we can see her leg jut into the dress(red arrow) and that her legs are hanging out at different lengths(yellow bars) we can deduce that Silvers dress most probably acts like any other, in the sense that it folds when she moves(more or less) and that it isn't actuall a part of her. Or at least not a part of her lower body

Here, some pictures of Silvers dress moving like it isn't a giant hunk of metal and her foot sticking out, so we know her lower body isn't attached to it(based off of the picture above these as well)

But what about her upper body?

What if, while her lower half wasn't, her upper body is indeed one with the dress?

Well I sure hope not!!

How am I supposed to put her in pretty dresses when she's already permanently attached to one😭😭😭

I've scoured the whole series to find some scene where she like maybe pulles her sleeve up in anger I guess??

I can't find anything

So I'm gonna assume it isn't and move on with my dayy

Roleswap With the Keys Idea

(makes some references to the Key roles post I made a while ago)

Silvie (Silver) swapped with Chase. Bron (Bronze) swapped with Deacon. Violetta(Violet) swapped with Buddy. Goldie (Gold the hero key) is the older sibling(I picture the hero key as a lady despite probably going to be a guy.) Oberon (Obsidian the villain key) is the older sibling too.) (Goldie and Oberon are twins.) Trevor (Trevor the Everyman key) is probably a middle sibling.) Oberon, Violetta, and Trevor were separated from Goldie, Bron, and Silvie when they were babies. The story will be similar as maybe one of their parents has cancer but different as they discover how exactly their family ties with Ex Libris and learn about their missing siblings. They all look similar with differences. Chase and Deacon are still cousins. Chase and Buddy still have that rivalry(?) going on and are not related. I keep thinking about how Silver and Bronze were reunited and I think about how Chase and Deacon would be reunited in the au. Very similar circumstances and Chase would call him Dorkin but they’d still hug with Deacon being slightly suspicious of Silvie.

Appearances:

Bron would still have green eyes and brown hair. Goldie has blond really yellow (sunflower or hay looking) hair. She also has really dark blue eyes. Oberon and Violetta have black hair. Silvie has very light blonde hair with a white streak going through. I’m still stuck on the eye colors of Silvie, Oberon, and Violetta. I know Silver has pink eyes but I want to keep some realism with it. Trevor has brown hair and brown eyes.
