Thors hammer pendant (mjolnir) Thor's hammer pendant reconstruction Romersdal, Bornholm, Denmark.
In Norse mythology, Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor, a major Norse god associated with thunder. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome weapons, capable of leveling mountains. In his account of Norse mythology, Snorri Sturluson relates how the hammer was made by the dwarven brothers Sindri and Brokk, and how its characteristically short handle was due to a mishap during its manufacture.

okay the book I'm reading rn is terribly boring and i got distracted and accidentally came up with a potential match pair:
보다 – lōcian
which both mean 'to look' but 보다 is used when sight is a sensory experience (to see a newspaper, to know what something tastes like, to try an idea out, to meet up with someone) and so with a link or two denoting what the experience is supposed to be, we could get something like...
보다 - to perceive with the eyes
lōcian - to look (eye + gather)
miror - to look but the latin it denotes from (mirar) means to marvel
and were you to make an ocular frame with these, install some lenses, could they help you see better? to see things more beautifully, to expose what is worth marveling at clearly? maybe. needs tweaking, i suppose.

Custom Sterling Silver memorial pendant I really enjoyed the process on this one. Each one is a new experience. A new learning experience. I love the process of making. …and then there is - I hope it’s good enough. I hope they (the receiver) loves it and treasures it. . . . . . . . . #silver #pendant #memorialpendant #memorialjewelry #memorialjewellery #theprocess #learning #experience #learningexperience #learningthroughart #learningbydoing #silverwork #sooke #sookeartist #sookejewellerydesigner #sookebc #metisartist #metis #aboriginal #aboriginalartist #skinznhydez #bear #bearjewelry #bearpendant #bear #bearsbeetsbattlestargalactica https://www.instagram.com/p/Co6BdJ5pQfQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Red Skull Dome in Dragon's Tooth Ring (Blood skull ring) by Alex Streeter.
He's a famed (to me at least) NYC jewelry artist that's been designing and hand making since the 1970s. The family ran business even has a big scene in Japan, where they make limitedcollections.
Most beautiful piece of work I've ever seen since two years ago when I stumbled across a blog page made to show everything Alex Streeter. I want to be married with this on. I want to die with this on. I want to pass it on as a priceless hierloom for generations. It is truly a piece of art that will stand the test of time. It goes for $490 smackers and will probably be the most expensive thing I own if I ever get one on my hand. But I think it's beautiful. Every unique piece made by Alex Streeter I think is worth it. It really goes to show the attention and time put into it. I love his Galaxy collection, and the new York building pieces the most right now. I wish to see them all even though most arent archived. Maybe I'll find a way to his Arizona studio to see all he has made. I'm Alex streeters biggest fan !!

Anyways, thinking of Alex Streeter stuff because I just got the email from their email list for my birthday. They gave me 25% off! Pretty good deal considering the prices of those awesome decorations. Won't be using it for a long bit but thats still really cool:)
