Aurora Skies Makeover, Vol. 6 - The Dairy/Bread Bakery

For the Vinter's dairy and bread bakery, I just placed a 30x30 lot right next door to their house, put The Medieval Cottage by xNikki in the front corner, changed the lot type to community, did some rearranging inside, and popped in some cows. I decided to add the bread part on to the business just to try and spread out the baking for the town.

All the shelves, displays and trays were changed into Savvier Seller ones using icarus_allsorts Transmogrifier or Debug Enabler. I've been into using trays lately. (:

Sunna seems to be more in a business frame of mind while Tinna just thinks about cheese.

I started to add things to this post about mods and running the bakery and ordering stock and unowned bakeries and all the rest, but it started to get really crazy. I'm happy to share, but it seemed a bit much for one post.

If you see any cc in the photos you want for your own game though, it's probably all on my pinterest here. Any shelves, displays, trays, etc., should all be saved in my Sims 3 Shop CC & Mods board, Shelves & Displays section. All cow stuff should be in Sims 3 Pets & Animals board. A investigadora Jasmine Opperman afirmou esta quinta-feira que o autoproclamado Estado Islâmico (EI) recorreu a imagens simuladas na reivindicação do crédito pelo ataque a Palma, Moçambique, no passado dia 24, que lhe "foi oferecido" para efeitos de propaganda.

"A foto, mas também o vídeo, que foram usados" pelo movimento terrorista para reclamar o crédito do ataque, representam um cenário que "não foi em Palma, foi em Mocímboa da Praia", disse à Lusa a investigadora da ACLED - Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, uma organização não governamental especializada na recolha, análise e mapeamento de dados relativos a conflitos.

Segundo Opperman, "este ataque foi oferecido ao EI" pelos insurgentes em Moçambique.

A agência noticiosa AMAQ, alinhada com o Estado Islâmico, emitiu uma declaração em 29 de março, afirmando que o EI tinha atacado Palma, destruído escritórios governamentais e assaltado bancos, divulgando uma fotografia e um vídeo.

Jasmine Oppermam diz que "a reivindicação do crédito não é falsa. Mas esta é uma reivindicação simulada, como vimos sempre, com o mesmo formato, a mesma linguagem, o mesmo estilo narrativo" e o que este incidente mostra é que "tem havido comunicações (entre os insurgentes em Cabo Delgado) e o Estado Islâmico".

O EI usou este ataque seguindo a "estratégia" que tem para a sua "campanha de propaganda de expansão global, à semelhança de 45 reivindicações de crédito anteriores. O EI tem os olhos em Cabo Delgado, isso não pode ser ignorado, mas temos que fazer uma análise equilibrada", afirma a investigadora.

"De um total de 45 reivindicações de crédito, desde 2019, nunca conseguimos ligar uma reivindicação a um incidente específico, como apresentada na reivindicação do crédito. Foram incidentes que aconteceram, sim, mas o único que foge a este padrão é aquele em que (o EI) reclama ter morto soldados tanzanianos (em outubro, em Mocímboa da Praia). Esse mantém-se um mistério", descreveu Opperman.

Porém, sublinhou, "o facto de saberem que (os ataques) acontecem, de saberem quem participou, é uma indicação clara de que há pessoas a comunicar com o Estado Islâmico e a alimentar a sua máquina de propaganda".

"Temos que analisar a estratégia de expansão global do EI. Eles estão a usar (insurgências) locais, e ainda que no início seja apenas propaganda, apenas precisam de tempo para que a sua narrativa extremista se imponha nesse contexto local", explicou a investigadora.

Agora, daí a "afirmar que o EI está neste momento em posição de assumir a liderança, de liderar a insurgência (em Cabo Delgado), está por se provar", acrescenta.

"Isso, claramente, não foi o que aconteceu em Cabo Delgado. Mesmo se olharmos para o vídeo de Mocímboa da Praia, vemos combatentes com fitas vermelhas na cabeça, vemos combatentes vestidos de forma que não é típica dos combatentes do EI, não vemos a bandeira negra do EI a ser agitada por qualquer um destes combatentes, não ouvimos a sua música", descreveu Opperman.

A investigadora considera que "a impressão digital" do EI, está ainda numa "fase evolutiva" em Cabo Delgado. "Por agora, apenas está a usar estes ataques e a ajustar a narrativa destes ataques à sua propaganda", mas está a ter várias ajudas para ganhar cada vez mais força, tanto por parte do Governo de Maputo como por atores internacionais.

O Departamento de Estado norte-americano considerou no início do mês passado o grupo Al Ansar al-Sunna, conhecido como al-Shabaab em Moçambique, como afiliado do Estado Islâmico. "Não questiono as informações de que dispõem, mas tenho um problema com a estratégia adotada. Divulgar esta designação, nesta altura, ajudou o Estado Islâmico a reativar esforços e reconcentrar o foco em Cabo Delgado", afirmou.

Opperman sugere que se tente perceber em que "fase evolutiva se encontra esta insurgência" e oferece algumas pistas: "Se olharmos com atenção para o vídeo, vemos claramente que há pessoas brancas entre os insurgentes" e, desde logo, isso permite perceber que "restringir o al-Sunna (Ansar al-Sunna) a Cabo Delgado seria ingénuo".

"A ocupação sustentada de Mocímboa da Praia e as táticas usadas em Palma mostram claramente um refinamento das táticas de guerrilha. Portanto, o que estamos a ver é uma tática não oriunda de Cabo Delgado. Tem que ter havido treino por estrangeiros com vasta experiência neste tipo de guerra", afirmou a investigadora.

Por outro lado, afirmou ainda, "o envolvimento da Tanzânia e de tanzanianos na insurgência não deve ser subestimada. Os efetivos do al-Sunna são, na maioria, locais, mas o papel e a participação dos estrangeiros na insurgência têm vindo a ganhar força", acusou.

A ocupação de Mocímboa da Praia por um período tão alargado, "ofereceu a oportunidade ideal" para recrutamento e treino, considera Opperman.

Quanto à al-Shabaab, ou Ansar al-Sunna, este grupo mantém-se focado em queixas e descontentamento de caráter "local", segundo a investigadora, utilizando uma "narrativa extremista", mas "própria de Cabo Delgado, não ligada à al-Qaeda nem ao Estado Islâmico".

Mas "não podemos ignorar a realidade em Cabo Delgado nem a tentativa do EI tomar partido dessa realidade. Há dinâmicas em jogo dentro da insurgência, mas quero deixar claro que, em termos da maioria dos líderes da insurgência são ainda predominantemente de Cabo Delgado", afirmou.

O EI, segundo Opperman, tem aprendido com os erros, "viu o califado implodir", e agora a estratégia passa sobretudo por "criar áreas de ingovernabilidade" nas regiões onde pode ter influência.

Quanto ao Ansar al-Sunna, a investigadora pensa que se encontra numa fase em que tenta "implementar ou importar uma identidade associada à narrativa extremista, mas a brutalidade e destruição total e a morte indiscriminada de civis confunde o debate e levanta questões sobre os seus objetivos".

"É um movimento secessionista? Não, em definitivo. Não há qualquer declaração neste sentido. É uma narrativa extremista que tenta implementar um modo de vida islâmico mais 'puro'? Penso que isto é mais provável, mas não consigo dar uma resposta objetiva sobre o propósito desta insurgência", admitiu.

O facto, sublinhou finalmente, é que a insurgência em Cabo Delgado ganhou "imensa força". E "penso que o Governo de Maputo tem alguma responsabilidade nisto, com a relutância em alterar a sua posição, permitindo à insurgência crescer, manter e mesmo aumentar a sua força".

A investigadora da ACLED considera que a principal prioridade nesta fase é a "estabilidade", mas acrescenta que "é preciso quebrar o ímpeto da insurgência, Como? As forças de segurança do Governo moçambicano não são capazes de fazer isso. Estamos a dizer isto há dois para três anos, essa incapacidade tem sido exposta uma e outra vez".

Daí que Opperman sustente que deve ser criada uma "estrutura de comando centralizada, que lidere uma força internacional e regional em Cabo Delgado, com forças terrestres, aéreas e navais, e com uma estratégia de execução coerente".

"Penso que não criará um volte-face imediato, mas terá um impacto massivo no congelamento da insurgência. Esse comando deverá contar com apoio claro do Governo, que depois deve intervir localmente com a satisfação das necessidades e exigências das populações de Cabo Delgado. Essa é a única solução, não há outra maneira", concluiu.

Aurora Skies Makeover, Vol. 5 - The Vinter Household

I'm currently still playing in the Vinter Household, which now has Tinna, Veronika, and Astrid Vinter, Gunnar Hannes, and little Sunna the Icelandic Sheepdog. This was their house before:

It had huge boxy rooms and felt cold. This what their house is now:

I put them in Little Farm by fanieb, which feels a lot cozier. It just happened to be a similar exterior color, which is fun. The main thing I did to the outside was to take out the big buildings on the right (horse stable and garage?) and put in the cow barn.

I take ZERO credit for the cow barn, that is 100% Tedhi aka @franglishetchocolat. It's attached to the house on her really neat Les Vergers lot that goes in her Vintage Champs les Sims world. I just loved the barn and rebuilt it on this lot and it fit perfectly.

I did a fair bit of recoloring, but I try to leave things generally as they are for a while when playing downloaded lots. I've lived with my own decorating for years in my game, so it's fun to play with someone else's for a while before tearing it up.

I also try to leave premade sims' clothing and hair and face alone for a while unless I absolutely hate it or there's issues like bad clipping between hair and outfit for instance.

I did redo the kitchen a bit with cc though, and because I can't leave things alone, I did do things like turn the hutch from the Frontier Finds store set into storage with the Transmogrifier.

There isn't much of it here, but if you see any cc you want for your game, it's probably all on my pinterest here, but feel free to ask.

Veronika is up there baking bread to sell at their dairy next door, which is coming along. She just needs to get her skill up so she can bake baguettes.

Tinna Vinter was actually the first sim in my hood to have the want to adopt a pet.

So I found her a little Icelandic Sheepdog and named her Sunna. They're sooo cute together, and I really like Tinna, so extra cute.
