Personal and most likely unpopular opinions:
- Sebastian Sallow is a walking red flag (maybe I will write a complete essay about it lol) and I don't like him at all. And not only a bad friend to us, but especially to Ominis!
- Even if my absolute ship is MC x Poppy, I don't understand why Natty is so underrated and why people prefer Seb.
- Poppy's quests are the absolute best. No further comments.
- Amit Thakkar is a cutie! And Sirona Ryan is a badass! They both deserve more appreciation!
- Ruth Singer is sus AF
- And now the most unpopular ship ever. Imelda x Poppy? Lovely. Imelda x MC? Also lovely. Imelda x Garreth? Cute. But what about... Imelda x Natty? I don't know why, they remind me of Nadine and Chloe of the Uncharted series and I find them lovely together! Also, Imelda is a bottom!
Thanks for coming to my HL Ted Talk. And remember, they're just my personal opinions!

7 Times the Charm
GN!MC / May or may not be an alternate version of a long fic I'm working on, but I've hit a writing rut and this prompt by @serpensortiamaxima (this is dedicated to you too OP!) got me churning out this piece until 4AM (now i can sleep with my brain empty! XD) also divider credits here
Summary: It was no secret that the Three Broomsticks can also be considered a social gathering for the latest news, and Sirona Ryan, the owner was at the neck of it. Or, a glimpse of a blooming relationship she'd observed since that Troll Attack in Hogsmeade. (One-shot also posted on AO3)
“Oh, there’s a face I haven’t seen before.” This may be the first time Sirona Ryan’s memory seemed to have failed her as she was confident in remembering her clientele.
“It’s my first time here.” The student had replied almost sheepishly, which explained everything to the bar owner. Of course, she’d heard about the latest talk in the streets of a Hogwarts student having been caught in a dragon attack.
“Welcome! Butterbeers on me.” Sirona assumed that the student was a transferee, after all, she’d never heard of a student starting this late in their Hogwarts education. “Glad to see you two escape injury.” She glanced between the two students with growing worry, having planned to check on the other shopkeepers and residents once the crowd had buzzed down from the recent Troll Attack in Hogsmeade.
“Thanks to this one. Single-handedly took down a Troll!”
“Is that right? Well done.” Of course Sirona couldn’t take the Sallow boy’s claim seriously, not when she was sure of the way the boy had looked admiringly at his new classmate. Before she could decide to play matchmaker however, they were interrupted by some brutes’ arrival.
Tumblr media
The second time Sirona next saw the pair was on a relatively calm day in the Three Broomsticks, she considered herself not eavesdropping at all while the two students had quite the passionate discussion over a round of Butterbeer.
“Honestly! Why do you have to trouble yourself on a trip to get something for my sister? Anne wrote she’d be delighted by your very presence alone.”
“Because Sebastian, it’s common courtesy to bring a gift when visiting your friend’s family.”
Now this seemed to be a development. Sirona had to keep herself looking busy as she wiped away at the mugs on the counter, casting a knowing glance by the corner table to quickly spy the flustered look on the Sallow boy’s face.
Sirona could only hope to Merlin that his ‘friend’ fancied him the way he seemed to.
Tumblr media
In exchange for asking her assistance on where to find her friend, Lodgok, Sirona in turn thought to request the new student’s help in retrieving her box of letters. Though she never would have predicted they’d also come as a pair this third time around.
“I’m not letting you go alone. And for Merlin’s sake, why a mine of all places? Do you happen to know what sort of creatures could possibly live there??”
Sirona could only watch in amusement as the Sallow boy was being pushed out by his classmate in an attempt to shush him, “Alright, alright – I’ll tell you all about it on the way. Just get going so we can at least finish this while there’s still sun out.”
The door to the Three Broomsticks had shut after their departure so Sirona could only guess how the rest of their day would go. One thing was for sure though, if she’d initially thought the Sallow boy only fancied his new friend before, then now Sirona was absolutely certain the boy was now smitten.
Maybe there was good reason to owl Mirabel after all, nothing better than an entertaining chat about young love over tea.
Tumblr media
The next time Sirona served Butterbeer to the new student at the counter, she was half expecting them to be with a familiar face. Instead, they sat alone, looking quite under the weather as they seemed to stare unseeing into the tankard, Sirona was just about ready to lend a listening ear after she’d served all the other customers’ orders when the student had stood up just as a familiar Slytherin entered the premises.
Sirona was quick to notice the two of them weren’t on speaking terms as they passed by each other – the Sallow boy taking the stool beside where his friend just left. She chose to quietly serve him his share of Butterbeer before she continued to keep busy.
“Sirona, would you apologize if you said something… true but ended up sounding… mean?”
So that was how it was… “Well dear, first of all, it’s not what you said, but how you made them feel. So yes, an apology should be expected.”
“But… how?”
Sirona raised an eyebrow at him as if to say the answer should be obvious enough, but ended up sighing in exasperation as the boy looked pitifully at a lost, “If you aren’t ready to tell them personally, then a letter might suffice, and don’t make it just a simple apology either – at least, offer to take them somewhere you’d think would be meaningful to them.”
“A letter! That’s just it, of course!” Sirona watched as the boy waved his hand in thanks as he rushed out the doors, she hoped everything would turn up for the better the next time she saw those two together.
Tumblr media
It didn’t however, for just days before the 5th, Sirona herself had received an unmarked letter notifying her of Lodgok’s passing – his gentle soul did not deserve the fate he was dealt with by his brother’s hands. Yet also here in her supposedly lively pub, sat another lost soul who she dearly tried to keep from straying to the Hog’s Head by keeping the Sallow boy’s tankard refilled with Butterbeer.
She’d heard he just lost his uncle and that the Sallow girl also informed him late, the poor twins were now left all alone.
And just when Sirona felt the boy slipping away, from the doors came in a face who she hoped would be successful in reeling Sallow from his darkest thoughts.
“Sebastian!”
Sirona was glad to see the boy encased in a hug, he dearly looked like he needed one…
“You’re safe now. I promise, I wouldn’t let them take you away.”
It may have well been a secret language only the two students shared with each other, but Sirona was nonetheless relieved to see the boy’s shoulders relax, the undeniable soft sob that escaped him was a sound that would forever tug at her heart.
Tumblr media
And it seemed that heart wrenching sob echoed around the wooden panels of her establishment as the once lively pub was filled with students of varying years, all of which ranged from sniffling for their parents to a quiet uncertainty that loomed over the older ones.
Hogwarts was under attack, and despite how Sirona herself could not believe such a situation would even come about, the evacuated students who took shelter in the Three Broomsticks were enough to leave her unsettled for what was to come.
“Sirona! Are they here? Did they at least stop by here?” She could only shake her head in response, clearly seeing the Sallow boy was distraught.
“Sebastian! We have to settle ourselves and wait for Black’s announcement –“
“They could still be there, Ominis!” His next words were barely audible but somehow Sirona managed to catch a hint of it, “What if they’re fighting for their lives – alone? Against a Goblin Rebellion!”
“Attention, students!” Black did make an announcement right after that, clearing his throat as if today was a normal occurrence, “I am proud to announce that my esteemed faculty has handled the – uhm… rebellion. Yes, the Goblin rebellion – wait, what was that?”
Everyone seemed to hold their breath as a House Elf seemed to whisper the latest news to his master, who gasped out as if he was scandalized, “A casualty you say???”
Sirona felt her heart drop at the sudden news, she could only watch as Sebastian Sallow all but rushed out of the doors, fearing for the worst.
Tumblr media
Fear melted like snow from a season past, and while Spring came a bit too late for those who grieved, the flowers still bloomed.
The Three Broomsticks was once again abuzz with an energy of celebration and nostalgia – students crowded with relief at having survived their O.W.L.s and others were busy planning their summer ahead – two of which Sirona couldn’t help but approach, “Butterbeers on me, to the Hero of Hogwarts.” She’d winked before leaving the pair in their usual spot by the counter, not really meaning to overhear…
“So… I heard Fig left you a place in his will, back to London it is for you then?”
“Yes… and Feldcroft?”
“Can’t say I relish the thought of spending summer by myself, but I have a way to keep busy by doing some odd errands here and there, I suppose.”
“What would you say to a ticket to London?”
“What..?”
“I was only really planning to spend a few weeks there, fix some things that need to be done and well… spend some time in Feldcroft with you… if you’ll have me?”
“Of course! I – but why even take me to London – not that I’m complaining but –“
“Because I care, Sebastian. I – care about you… very much.”
Sirona couldn’t keep herself from spying a glance then, very happy to see the pair both sporting flustered faces. It may have taken a while, but there wasn’t a perfect time than any to start anew.

Pairing: Sebastian Sallow x f!MC
Word Count: 2.4k
Rating: E
Warnings: 18+, aged-up characters, teen drinking (though probably legal in the UK idk), explicit sexual content, unprotected PIV sex
Summary: The night you graduate from Hogwarts, you indulge in a bit too much Firewhiskey and have to sleep it off upstairs at the Three Broomsticks.
“Come on, Sirona, please,” Sebastian whines, leaning on the worn edge of the bar as he tries to charm Sirona into giving him the key to the private room upstairs. “Just so we can rest for a while.” “Sebastian,” the weary proprietor sighs. “Unlike you, I may not have graduated today, but I wasn’t born yesterday." “What are you implying, Miss Ryan?” the now former Hogwarts student asks with a teasing grin. “I would never try to get up to anything untoward in your pub, I swear.”
“Come on, Sirona, please,” Sebastian whines, leaning on the worn edge of the bar as he tries to charm Sirona into giving him the key to the private room upstairs. “Just so we can rest for a while.”
“Sebastian,” the weary proprietor sighs. “Unlike you, I may not have graduated today, but I wasn’t born yesterday.”
“What are you implying, Miss Ryan?” the now former Hogwarts student asks with a teasing grin. “I would never try to get up to anything untoward in your pub, I swear.”
She scoffs, rolling her eyes at the young man while she dries an empty Butterbeer mug.
“Just look at the state of her,” Sebastian offers, glancing sidelong at his group of friends crowded around a far table. “I just need somewhere she can rest, I promise it’s all above board.”
Currently, you’re slumped haphazardly between Ominis and Natty, your head resting on the drowsy Slytherin man’s shoulder as you slur something about your formal robes cutting off the circulation in your wrists. Natty laces her fingers with yours and tugs your hand into her lap, clumsily ripping open the cuffs while you laugh, delighted.
“Seems she can take on a fully-grown mountain troll on her own, but she can’t handle her Firewhiskey,” Sirona deduces.
“I can’t Apparate her home like this, Merlin knows where she’d end up if we tried to Floo, and she’d fall right off her broom somewhere over Irondale if we even got that far,” he says, trying to reason with her. “Just until sunrise, and then I’ll take her home.”
Just then you hiccup and startle Natty and yourself into another round of giggles, and Sirona shakes her head good-naturedly.
“Merlin’s beard,” she sighs. “Fine, Sallow, you can have the key for one night. But when I come back to open up in the morning, I want to see no trace I ever caved to you.”
Sebastian quickly takes the key offered to him before she can change her mind. “This is why you’re one of the good ones, Sirona.”
Just a few hours ago, you and your friends had officially graduated and become mature witches and wizards in the eyes of the Ministry. While it isn’t the first time you’ve ever tried the spicy sweetness of Firewhiskey, it is the first time you’ve been able to purchase a bottle at the Three Broomsticks.
(It’s a lot more convenient than having sweet Poppy distract the disgruntled barman at the Hog’s Head in order to pilfer a bottle in exchange for a handful of galleons left behind the bar).
So, perhaps you’d all had a bit too much while celebrating your newfound freedom, and now that the end of the night drew near, only Sebastian had retained enough of his sense to see everyone off.
“Natty,” he asks, sliding back into the booth. “You’re off to Hogwarts for the night, then?”
“It seems I cannot escape,” she laughs. “I will stay with my mother in her quarters until I find a flat in London.”
“Our newest Auror!” you exclaim, tugging Natty’s arm to your chest.
“And you, Ominis?” Sebastian continues.
“Not with my mother, that’s for sure,” he demurs. “Off to Feldcroft for the night, I think.”
“With Aaaaaaann,” you coo, and Sebastian politely – generously, in fact – ignores how Ominis’ cheeks go red.
“Right then,” he grumbles. “Obviously this one is in no state to travel, so Sirona’s agreed to let us stay upstairs for the night.”
“Upstairs?” you breathe, reaching across Natty to take Sebastian’s hand. “The private room?”
“Be good,” he says firmly. “You’re just going to sleep.”
“Fat chance,” Ominis mumbles into his mug.
“Shouldn’t you be going?” Sebastian asks pointedly, throwing some extra galleons onto the table for the young wizard who’d been bringing them rounds of drinks. “It’s quite late, and I believe Ann was expecting you at ten.”
“...What time is it?” Ominis asks, sounding slightly panicked – the Sallow siblings aren’t exactly known for their patience.
“After ten,” Natty laughs.
Just like that, Ominis curses under his breath and Disapparates right from his seat.
“Need a hand getting her upstairs?” Natty offers, but Sebastian quickly waves her off, insisting she Floo home and get some rest herself. As soon as she disappears in a quick burst of green flames from the fireplace at the end of the pub, Sebastian hauls you out of the booth and starts to walk you upstairs.
“S’not even that late,” you whine. “We graduated today Seb, s’a big deal!”
“I know, love,” he replies fondly. “But I think it’s time for you to call it a night.”
You’re quite the handful to get upstairs, occasionally tripping on the pub’s ancient wooden stairs – not to mention protesting the entire time.
Once Sebastian manages to get you into the private room, he quickly locks the door and enchants the small loveseat along the far wall into a modest-sized bed for the night.
“Sit,” he insists, wrangling you toward the bed and kneeling in front of you. “Boots off.”
He barely gets one of your shoes free before you drape your leg over his shoulder with a sly grin, trying to pull him in closer.
“Not a chance, dearest,” he drawls. “You’ve had so much Firewhiskey tonight I could light a match off of your breath.”
“But it’s graduation night,” you protest. “S’the most important night of our lives!”
“I’m not sure I agree,” he counters as he tugs off your other boot, thinking of a much more special night he’d like to have with you a few more years down the line, when you’re both ready. Once you’ve established yourselves, he thinks.
(Once he’s earned it, his inner voice tells him.)
“But I want you,” you whine, trying one last time to coax him into trouble.
And Sebastian will admit, he’s far from a perfect man. It’s certainly tempting.
But he manages to make himself focus on helping you out of your cloak and robes, and thank Merlin that wrestling you free of your corset takes long enough that your eyelids start to droop. He nudges you onto your side while he strips off his own cloak and dress shirt, eventually joining you to wrap his arm around your waist and tug you back against his chest like he’s done nearly every night for the past year.
“Sleep, you little minx,” he groans tiredly, his nose buried in your hair.
In the morning, Sebastian wakes up to your hand down the front of his trousers.
It might not even be morning yet, he thinks blearily. It’s still somewhat dark in the small private room, its sparse furnishings barely visible in the weak light from the two windows high above him.
“Good morning, Seb,” you whisper, nosing along his neck before pressing a lingering kiss to the hinge of his jaw.
“Just what do you think you’re doing?” he asks, his voice hoarse from sleep.
“It’s early, Sirona won’t come to kick us out for another hour or so,” you offer.
Sebastian realizes you’ve got your hand wrapped around his cock only when you start to stroke him, and any argument he’d had against letting you have your way with him starts to go murky in the back of his mind.
“Are you still drunk?” he asks, his head tipping back against the pillow.
“No,” you insist, mouthing at his jawline. “Promise.”
You’ve already thrown one of your legs across his lap and you’re wearing nothing but your undergarments. Sebastian doesn’t stand a chance, and he knows it.
He groans softly as you kiss your way from his jaw up to his plush lips, distracting him while you clumsily tug your underwear off with your free hand and wiggle your way fully onto his lap.
“How long have you been up?” he asks.
“Oh, just a little longer than you’ve been up,” you answer, pointedly stroking him again.
“I had no idea you could be so crude,” Sebastian laughs. “What happened to my good little witch, hm?”
“She’s not a student anymore,” you answer, extracting your hand so you can finish undoing the front of Sebastian’s trousers.
Leaning back onto his thighs, you pull his trousers down as far as you can and then his underwear as well, until his bare cock rests against the lowest part of his stomach, glistening wet at the tip.
“Like this?” he asks hopefully, sliding a hand up your bare thigh to your hip to coax you forward again.
“Yes,” you whisper, leaning down to kiss him gently at first, and then rougher when his grip on your hip tightens to encourage you to grind your wet core against him.
When you can’t take the teasing anymore, you quickly sit up and lift your hips so you can reach between your thighs and take Sebastian in your hand. Holding his cock steady, you meet Sebastian’s gaze as you line him up against your entrance and start to sink down.
He’s stunned silent – a rare occasion.
Truthfully, you’ve been ready for him since you awoke, but a bit of teasing from your own fingers while he slept helped make sure you could take him straight away. You didn’t want to waste any of your precious time in the pub’s private room on anything other than having him inside you.
You gasp softly once he’s fully inside, your ass pressed to the tops of his thighs as his hands roam hungrily over your hips, your legs, and even your chest.
“You really needed it, didn’t you?” Sebastian asks, his voice still a bit hoarse. “You woke up this wet for me, love, that’s… fuck.”
“Yes,” you whimper, starting to rock up and down to let yourself feel the fullness of him inside before you start to ride him in earnest. “It’s all I wanted, all night.”
“Take it, then,” he says smugly, removing his hands from your body to fold his arms behind his head. “I want to see you take what you want.”
You both know your relationship thrives on a bit of healthy competition, it always has. So when he issues a challenge like that, you have to meet it. Narrowing your eyes at his knowing gaze, you trail your own hands up your body – he likes a bit of a show, of course – and start to ride him properly.
Despite the usual hustle and bustle of Hogsmeade, it’s silent in the early morning hours. All you can hear are the sounds coming from the bed: your panting breaths, Sebastian’s low groans, the addictive sound of bare skin on skin, and the dubious creaking of the conjured bed’s wooden frame.
“How’s that, love?” Sebastian asks lazily, watching you throw your head back in pleasure as you grind down on him over and over. “Is that enough for you, or do you need more?”
“More,” you slur without even thinking. Whatever he wants to give you, you’ll take it, no questions asked.
He laughs softly before reaching out to press one of his large hands to the crease of your hip, rubbing his thumb gently against your clit. When you moan encouragingly, he presses a little harder.
“Like that?” he asks. “You want to come on my cock like this?”
“Please,” you beg, and you’re not even sure what it is you’re begging for. You’re full of him, you’ve got his hands on your body, you’ve got his fiery gaze all over you… it’s nearly too much, but not quite enough.
But Sebastian knows. He always knows just what you need.
He sinks the fingers of his free hand into your hair at the base of your neck and pulls you down to him, messily kissing you and nipping at your bottom lip until you open up and let him devour your desperate moans. This angle, bent over his body like this, it’s exactly what you need.
Sebastian grins victoriously as you come apart on top of him, biting gently along your neck when you throw your head back and cry out helplessly.
“That’s it, good girl,” he moans, wrapping an arm around your waist so he can keep you pressed close to him.
He shifts you forward so that he can plant his feet on the bed, fucking up into you the second your leverage is gone. You figure he’s probably close, he’s usually desperate to follow you once he’s gotten you off.
“Sebastian,” you whine against his cheek. “Please.”
“Please what?” he grits out, the arm around your waist drifting lower to roughly grab at your ass. “You need more, you greedy thing?”
“Please, come in me,” you keen, and Sebastian nearly chokes.
He manages a few more precise thrusts before his rhythm is gone and he simply buries himself in you, his core taught while he finishes with a low groan. You press sweet, aimless kisses across his cheeks, his forehead, his jaw until he goes boneless.
“That’s a hell of a good morning,” he breathes, and you blush a little, tucking your face against his neck. “Maybe I should let the barman overserve you more often.”
“Overserve me?” you protest. “And just who was pouring all those shots, hm?”
“Couldn’t possibly have been me, I’m quite responsible,” he drawls, and you playfully elbow him in the side. “Speaking of which, you need to eat some breakfast soon or you’ll be useless the entire day, and last night you offered to help Natty look at flats this afternoon.”
“I did?” you groan.
“Well, I figured while we’re with her, maybe we could see if there’s any we like for us,” Sebastian says hesitantly. “I mean, if – if you still want to.”
When you delightedly throw your arms around him and roll him toward the clean side of the bed, he assumes that it’s still a yes.
Sirona cautiously steps into her pub an hour later, listening intently for any sounds of passion lest she become further scarred by Hogwarts’ hormonal teens than she already has been over the years.
Thankfully, the Three Broomsticks is quiet, and there’s a note on the bar next to a fresh bottle of ink from Scrivenshaft’s.
Sirona,
Thank you so much for letting Sebastian and me sleep upstairs last night. We’re taking off for now, but I wanted to gift you some new ink so that you’ll write to us in London – any exciting gossip is of course appreciated, but if there’s ever anything we can do to help out in Hogsmeade, please don’t hesitate to write.
P.S. Apologies about the loveseat. I promise we used Scourgify.

SIRONA RYAN IS NOT A TRANSPHOBIC NAME. GOOGLE IT.
People are hating on the name Sirona Ryan for the trans character. They are assuming JK came up with the name.
She has almost nothing to do with the game. Nothing with story writing or production.
And everyone complaining about the name. LEARN TO FUCKING USE GOOGLE. My Celtic ancestors are crying. It’s a real name. It’s Celtic. They probably picked it cause Hogwarts is in Scotland. And it means Goddess of Healing Springs. JFC. I am filled with rage. People are not googling it and assuming it means Sir Ona. (Onna is Japanese for woman)
It’s getting ridiculous at this point. Also the hate for anyone playing the games. “Boycott it” if the game does bad. Most who worked on it get laid off. It’s a hard to get job in the industry. But no let’s get hundreds fired and Jk terfling won’t even be affected by the $3-4/game she’s not getting.
Go spread that hate at the actual problem. JK not game buyers.
Don’t buy it if you feel it goes against your morals. But stop bullying people. Making a 12 cry in the comments of a tik tok video about the game isn’t fixing the terf.
Y’all need to watch this before you even think of commenting

That’s as many options as Tumblr allows me to make, so if you have a different answer, leave it in the comments! I also wanted to add Everett Clopton, Theophilus Harlow, Anne Sallow, Dinah Hecat, Phineas Nigellus Black, Lucan Brattleby, etc.
I would also love to hear the reasoning behind your choice. Please leave a comment with your thoughts!
Thank you to @tennoujinerin for the encouragement to make this poll. It will definitely not be as scientific as the last poll, though!

Are your requests still open? I’d love a part two to Marriage if you’d be open to it. I think an inverse where Ominis is the one jealous would be interesting especially given he’s much more willing to share his emotions with reader compared to them.
This got so out of hand I'm so sorry-
Marry Me (O.G)
I got stuck listening to Eric Cartman sing Poker Face because it was already playing, and I just committed to it. It's been over two hours. He's holding me hostage, send help, please. Anyway, accidently went heaving on the angst as I was baking this, but it got very fluffy when it came out of the oven, so I think that makes up for it. I hope you enjoy, because idk how I got to 4k words with this, I blacked out.
pt1, Marriage?
Tumblr media
You walked down the hall with Ominis as you trailed behind Sebastian, who was rambling on about how he needed a better dueling partner, shaking your head each time he asked you if you were “sure” you didn’t want to duel him. Sebastian continued talking to himself as you leaned over to Ominis, whispering in his ear. “If we left, do you think he’d notice?” Ominis shook his head, a smile gracing his lips as he grabbed your hand and led you down a different hall. “He’ll realize eventually, but by then we should be far enough away to be free.” You laughed as you continued to walk, still holding Ominis’ hand.
You played with your mother’s ring; its silver band cold on your skin as you moved it around. Ominis usually held the hand with the ring on it since you had lost it a few weeks prior, but you were on his other side at that moment, so he grabbed the hand closest to him. You continued to walk down the hall in a comfortable silence, the warm feeling in your chest felt homely now. You smiled to yourself, glad that you were able to become close with Ominis, you even felt ready to marry him, sort of. There was still a dull throb in your chest every now and then, telling you that you were only this close now because you had to, and that your mother had asked you to be nicer to Ominis.
Some nights, you find yourself staring up at the dark ceiling, thoughts of doubt and feelings of sadness filling your whole being. You often wondered if Ominis was going through those feelings as well, though he never showed them. Ominis was always up front on his thoughts and feelings, but would he lie to you to not hurt your feelings? Your thoughts began to run as you walked, biting the inside of your cheek. Ominis broke the silence soon after, speaking in a nonchalant manner. “My father sent a letter earlier today.” You broke from your thoughts, turning your head slightly as you hummed in response. “Really? What did he say?” Ominis hung his head as he walked, brows furrowed. “He asked for progress on our relationship. He says we’re close to the age for a wedding.” You stopped walking, frowning as you looked at Ominis. “A progress report? Has he been keeping an eye on us?” You asked, letting go of Ominis’ hand as you crossed your arms. Ominis turned, missing the feeling of your hand in his, but nodded.
“He sends frequent letters asking about it, to keep track I suppose.” He said, shrugging his shoulders. Your eyes widened, the idea that you were practically being watched even in Hogwarts stung you. You were unable to speak, your thoughts running once again as you began to think about what Ominis might have told him over the years, face turning red. “Y/n? It’s just him checking in, nothing to worry about, I assure you.” Ominis said, walking towards you. You shook your head, taking a step back. “How much have you told him?” You asked, your heart beginning to beat faster in your chest. Ominis shrugged, “He always asks for details, so I give him them, it’s nothing to worry about, honest.” Your gaze narrowed as you looked down at your feet. His father was a harsh man, and you remembered the stories he would tell at the dinner table during parties; how they would torture muggles for fun. You shuddered, wondering how he felt when he read how you treated Ominis when you first started Hogwarts.
“I haven’t even told my father anything, and you’re sending detailed reports to yours?” You said, anger replacing the confusion that had a grasp on your chest. You watched as Ominis hung his head, nodding slightly. You sighed as took a few breaths, collecting your thoughts. “So that means, that he now knows that we’ve kissed, and how I basically bullied you for years?” You asked, trying to keep your voice calm. Ominis nodded again, head still low. “Do you know what this means? What if he read your earlier notes and did something?” Ominis raised his head, confused. “What are you implying?” “I’m implying that he could have retaliated when he read that we weren’t getting along!” You began to shout, your thoughts running faster than you could have kept up. You felt a squeeze in your chest, tears threatening to fall as you stared at Ominis, who stood there, unmoving. “Your mother?”
You breathed heavily, glaring at Ominis. “They said she died suddenly, and I left it at that. But now? I don’t think so.” Ominis glared at you, not believing what he was hearing. “You think he did something?” You sighed as you nodded, feeling the tears begin to fall from your eyes. “I think we need some time apart; I need to breathe.” You said, turning away from Ominis. “You can tell your father that too. In fact, tell him I refuse.” You sighed, hearing Ominis as he scoffed. “Refuse? Do you really think you can get out of this?” You began to walk away, shouting over your shoulder, “You didn’t want this either, so I’m sure you’ll be fine.” You turned down another hall, feeling your hands shake as you tried to keep your composure. You passed by Sebastian, who had realized that the two of you were no longer with him, as he tried to talk to you. “Not now, Sebastian. Another time, perhaps.” Sebastian watched you in confusion as you kept walking towards the common room, desperate to reach your bed.
For the next few days, you avoided Ominis and kept to yourself, spending most of your free time trying to figure out what to do next. Ominis had tried to speak with you; offer you an explanation, but you refused, instead busying yourself with something each time he tried to speak. It felt as if you were back to square one, settling for your bed as you thought about the past few years. You didn’t fully believe that his father was responsible, but you knew how Mr. Gaunt was and how he treated people he thought were below him. You sighed as you stared at the ceiling, not hearing the door open. “Hey, Y/n. You have a letter.” Imelda walked in; a familiar owl rested on her arm as she handed you the envelope. You eyed it suspiciously, unsure if it was best to open it. “Are you sure it’s for me? That’s not my owl,” You asked, standing up from your bed as you walked over. “It has your name on it. Though, I’m not sure why you’d be receiving an owl from the Gaunts.” Your eyes widened as you looked at the owl, its dark feathers ruffled as it shifted on Imelda’s arm. “Thank you, Imelda. I suppose I should take the owl from you as well.” Imelda nodded, watching as the owl flew off her arm and landed on the post of your bed, clicking its beak. Imelda walked out, leaving you to open a small pouch and give the treat to the owl, sitting on your bed as you sighed.
You opened the letter, the elegant handwriting covered the page, one that was no doubt sent by Mrs. Gaunt. You tensed up, reading through the letter as Mrs. Gaunt wrote her apologies. “I never properly spoke with you after your mother’s death, and for that, I apologize. I know you may have your doubts, but I assure you, no matter how harsh my husband is, he would never point his wand at your family, you have my word.” You furrowed your brows as you read; it was unlike Mrs. Gaunt to be so up-front, let alone send you a letter. You continued to read. “I know how hard it was to accept the fact that you had to marry someone you didn’t know. I apologize for that as well, ten years old is too young to arrange such a thing. But I know how you feel, as I was in your place as well. I’ve read the letters my son has sent back, and I applaud your persistence in the past, as I would have done the same. However, even as you acted out, Ominis continued to try and befriend you. When he wrote back to us saying how you had helped him from causing an explosion in class, I felt happy, something I hadn’t expected.” You sighed, glancing over to the owl, you stared at you with round, amber eyes. You turned back to the letter. “It is evident that Ominis cares for you, and even now, as he writes to us about the rift that has sprung between the two of you, he still cares. I’m writing to you, not as his mother, but as someone you can count on. Ominis loves you. And I know that, deep down, you must care for him in the same way. I only hope I can shed some light on the problem at hand, I would love to have you in our family. You have your mother’s spirit, and I’m sure you will see just how much Ominis cares.” You set the letter down, your mind wandering as you went over her words. Of course, you cared for Ominis, but you were unsure if the care was real or superficial. You thought Ominis felt the same, even after he had expressed how glad he was that you two had become close; you felt like it was all a ploy. You groaned as you lay on your back, shutting your eyes tightly as you began to go through the events that led you to that moment.
You had sent the owl back later that night, sighing as you continued to lay in bed. You needed to figure out your own feelings before you began to try and figure out Ominis’, but you had found yourself at a wall. While you felt protective and jealous, whenever you saw someone flirting with Ominis, you couldn’t bring yourself to say that it was out of love. Did you even know what that was? You had been told that you would grow to love your husband-to-be, but no one had ever specified exactly what that would feel like, leaving you to figure it out for yourself. You didn’t know who to ask either, nor did you think you could bring yourself to ask someone that question either. You groaned as you slammed a fist down onto your covers, glaring into the stone above you.
A knock sounded at the door, causing you to turn your head. Imelda came in and placed her bag by her bed, her gaze softening as she saw you on your bed, where she had left you earlier. She slowly made her way over and moved your legs, taking a seat. “I take it that the letter wasn’t good?” She asked, looking down at her hands. You groaned once again, unable to form any words. The letter lay beside you, and Imelda looked at you curiously as she reached for the parchment, silently asking if she could have a look. You didn’t stop her, opting to close your eyes instead. Imelda stayed quiet as she read, taking a few moments to gather her thoughts as she pulled her legs up onto your bed, crossing them as she tapped your foot. “Do you want to talk about it?” You sighed, trying to gather your thoughts. Imelda wasn’t normally this docile, and you thought about asking her about the whole situation while you had someone willing to listen. You sat up, crossing your legs as well as you bit your lip.
“I’m having a hard time figuring things out, if that makes sense.” You started, watching Imelda as she nodded softly, motioning for you to continue. You explained to her about your feelings, about how you didn’t understand what they were and how you didn’t know what you were supposed to be feeling. Imelda listened to you, waiting for you to finish before talking herself. “You’re close with him, that part is clear. I can’t tell you what you should be feeling, because not everyone feels the same things, but it seems like you do care.” You furrowed your brows, looking down at your bed. Imelda continued. “Jealousy like that isn’t something you can really fake just because you must. I was there, when you stood behind that girl as she flirted with Ominis. That was real, that much I can tell you.” She pushed your shoulder lightly, smiling. “Besides, you looked like you wanted to hex her. No one just wants to hex someone over a guy.” You smiled lightly, nodding. “I wanted to turn her into a chicken and let her loose in the wild.” Imelda chuckled as she shook her head. “See? You felt something about that. That was real. Who’s to say you don’t actually love the guy? It’s clear he loves you. He might be blind, but the rest of us aren’t!” You laughed with her, feeling the dark pain in your chest slowly lift.
“But how do I fix it? I already accused his father, you read the letter.” Imelda nodded, shrugging. “You could try to talk to him, thought, I’m not sure how you’d start that off.” You sighed, flopping to your side as you rolled in your bed, burying your head into the sheets. “How about you ask him out, like a date?” You raised your head sharply, frowning at her. “A date? After all this?” She shrugged, “It’s the best I can come up with. Maybe just ask him to go with you to The Three Broomsticks? Try to talk to him?” You bit the inside of your cheek, deep in thought. “Wouldn’t that be weird? I haven’t spoken to him for three days, and you want me to ask him out?” Imelda scoffed, patting you on your head. “You’d be surprised. I’m sure Sebastian is filling his mind with ideas to fix this as well. Just try, please? I don’t need to wake up in the morning and see you staring at the ceiling again, I thought you were dead this morning.” You laughed as you shook your head. “Sorry about that, couldn’t sleep much.” Imelda shook her head as she got off your bed. “If you don’t ask him to Hogsmeade tomorrow, I’ll have to make you.”
The next day, you walked over to Sebastian, who smirked at you. You narrowed your eyes, watching as Sebastian pretended to be busy. “What are you hiding, Sallow?” Sebastian scoffed as he held up a book, opened yet upside down. “Just a bit of light reading on this fine Saturday, and yourself?” You crossed your arms as you raised an eyebrow. “The book is upside down.” His eyes widened as he looked at the page, noticing the words were, in fact, upside down. You sat across from him, glaring. Sebastian avoided your gaze, biting the inside of his cheek. “Out with it, you’re bad at keeping secrets.” He sighed, pouting as he brought his gaze to meet yours. “I may have talked to Ominis.” “As you always do.” “Let me talk! You’re always interrupting me.” You sighed as you motioned for him to continue. “I might have told him to go fetch a few things for you. Small things, of course, because relationships always need small gifts to fix things.” You raised a brow, a small smirk playing at the corner of your mouth. “Really?” Sebastian nodded, shrugging his shoulders. “You like each other! And you were doing so well! Surely Imelda talked with you?” “So, you two were in on it.” “Well, it wasn’t planned, if that’s what you’re implying. We just had similar goals.” You scoffed. “Look, Ominis is torn about this. He didn’t think that you would be upset about the whole thing! I admit, it’s definitely an invasion of privacy, but you know how his family is!” You nodded, mentioning the letter you received. “She sent you a letter? She never does that!” You shrugged, resting your cheek on your hand. “Look, just, try and listen to him, yeah? He cares, you care, I want to be the best man, we all want something!” You chuckled. The sound of footsteps sounded behind you, and you turned to see Ominis as he stood behind you, a small bag in his hand.
“Y/n, may I have a word?” Ominis asked, and you sighed as you stood up, sending a glare at Sebastian as he sent you a thumbs up. You left the common room and walked down the halls, just like you did when the whole ordeal started. “Ominis.” You started, glancing over at him as you walked. He shook his head, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you; it was not my intention. It didn’t come to mind how you would feel if I told you about the letters.” You sighed as you nodded, watching your feet as you walked. “I apologize as well for how I acted; it was uncalled for.” Ominis nodded, a small smile gracing his lips. “You acted like a spoiled princess, just like you did when we first met.” You scoffed, crossing your arms. “A spoiled princess? Really?” Ominis chuckled, “I like that about you, though. You know what you deserve, even if you don’t know it at the time.” He paused as he turned to you, handing you the small bag. “You deserved to know about the letters, and I know that you wanted a reason for your mother’s death, and I don’t blame you for thinking that my father had something to do with it. I thought the same, at first.” You took the bag from his hand slowly, the warm feeling of his hand against your own sending your heart into a stir. “It was still wrong of me, I shouldn’t have thought that way.” Ominis shrugged, “What’s done is done, but I do hope you can still forgive me, or at least accept my offerings.” You smiled as you looked in the bag.
Inside was a collection of treats that you adored, along with a new scarf made of some of the softest cotton you had ever felt. You reached in and found a small box, opening it and finding a silver necklace inside, a light emerald jewel hung from it. You gasped as you examined it, looking up at Ominis. “Ominis, you didn’t need to do all of this. I don’t deserve these gifts after I started this.” Ominis shook his head, reaching his hands out as he felt for yours, grabbing the necklace. “There you go again, thinking you don’t deserve something. Turn around.” You sighed as you turned, watching his hand appear in front of you as he placed the necklace around your neck, its cold metal a stark contrast to how warm you felt at that moment. He clasped the necklace and sighed, resting his forehead onto your shoulder. “This was a big ordeal, but I’m glad we could talk it out, I missed having you at my side.” You chuckled as you shook your head. “It was three days.” “Too long, if you ask me.” You sighed as you turned to Ominis, placing a small kiss on his cheek. “Let's go on a date, you and me.” Ominis, whose cheeks had turned red from the sudden kiss, only turned redder, if that was possible. “A date?” You nodded, grabbing his hand as you walked down the hall to Hogsmeade. “Yes, we haven’t had an actual date yet. So, let’s have one.” Ominis nodded as he followed you, a smile growing on his lips.
You smiled to Sirona as you walked in, taking a seat in the corner of the tavern. She walked over, smiling at the two of you. “Need anything at the moment you two?” She asked, and you nodded. “Maybe two butterbeers would be fine, right Ominis?” You looked over to the boy who nodded, waving to Sirona. She smiled as she nodded, leaving for a few moments before returning with two mugs. “On the house today, just for you.” She winked at you, causing your face to heat up slightly, realizing that she knew what was going on. The two of you chatted for what felt like hours, Sirona coming up every now and then to check up on you, even offering some treats, which you gladly accepted. You watched as Ominis kept a smile throughout the date, the small tint of pink never leaving his cheeks.
Ominis listened to your voice; how he missed hearing you talk. He missed your laugh as well and couldn’t help himself from joining you as you giggled over something he said. He felt nervous, though, as he continued to think about you and how much he missed your presence, even after three days. His pocket felt heavy as he listened to you talk, feeling like he was falling even more in love with you as the seconds ticked away. His thoughts were broken, however, when a new voice joined yours.
“Hello there, y/n! Fancy seeing you here!” The voice said. Ominis recognized the voice; frowning as Amit stood before you. You smiled as you greeted him. “Hello there, Amit! It’s nice to see you.” “Likewise. It’s been a while since we last talked, I thought you had disappeared.” You chuckled, shaking your head. “I’m always around, you know that.” Ominis felt the frown grow on his lips as he listened to the two of you talk, noticing the flirty tone Amit was using. You hadn’t seemed to notice, however, as you continued to make small talk with the Ravenclaw. “If you’d allow me, why don’t I buy you a drink?” Your eyes widened as you stuttered, unsure what to do. Ominis quickly answered for you, however, his voice dark as he spoke. “Actually, she’s with me tonight. Like always.” You hid a smile as you watched Ominis glare in Amit’s direction, seemingly seething at Amit, who widened his eyes and took a step back. “Of course, I apologize, have a nice night!” With that, you watched, amused, as Amit awkwardly walked off.
You smiled at Ominis, letting out a chuckle. “So, this is what it feels like, watching someone get jealous.” Ominis scoffed as he shook his head, “At least I didn’t hex him like you wanted to.” “How did you know I wanted to?” “A gut feeling.” You laughed, watching Ominis’ face soften as he fumbled with his hands. You bit the inside of your cheek, watching Ominis as he looked down at his hands. “What’s on your mind, my dear Ominis?” You asked, watching his cheeks turn red as you spoke. Ominis shook his head as he continued to play with his hands under the table. You scoffed as you shook your head. “Something is, or else you wouldn’t be acting that way.” “I want to marry you.”
Your eyes widened when Ominis spoke, your heart seemingly skipping beats as you processed what he said. “Marry me? But we already are supposed-“ “I want to actually marry you. Not because it was already arranged, but because I want to.” Your breath got caught in your chest, the heat in your cheeks only growing hotter the more he spoke. “Maybe I wanted to marry you when we first met, because you didn’t care that I was blind and still wanted me to shake your hand. Maybe it was when you described the world around us for me, or when we found your mother’s ring, and you let me place it on your finger. Perhaps it was when I broke your trust, and you hid from me for those three days. I missed you during those days, you weren’t describing things to me, and I felt like I couldn’t see.” He took a breath, pulling his hands up from under the table, a box identical to the one that held the necklace laid in his hands. You sat there, unmoving, as you felt the world come to a stop. “I want to properly propose, and the wedding to be real, if you’d let me.” He opened the box and showed you a ring identical to the necklace, a silver band adorned with small, pale emeralds, the silver band extending around to hold the jewels decorating each side. It shined in the soft light of the tavern, and you felt your heart almost stop beating.
“You actually want to marry me? Like, you want to?” You whispered, unable to believe what you were witnessing. Ominis smiled as he nodded. “I love you, obviously, and I want to marry you. You have my love and my heart, you always have, and I want you to keep them.” You felt your cheeks become wet, noticing that you had started to cry. Was the feeling that held your heart love, the same love that others felt when they were with someone special? You reached you hand out and grazed it against his, whispering seemingly to yourself. “I do love you, clear as day.” Ominis smiled, taking your hand as he placed the ring on your finger, placing a kiss to your hand.
Sirona watched the two of you as she smiled, noting the events to relay to Sebastian later, who practically danced when she told him about it. “I’m going to be the best man, just you wait. I knew my plan would work!” Sirona shook her head as she smiled, enjoying the events she had been allowed to witness.

What if "Hogwarts Legacy" characters took the MBTI test?
Okay, this is something I do in this blog: whenever I obsess with a new story, I try and imagine what personality type would each character get on the MBTI test. It's silly, I know, haha - but I LOVE character study and discussing character personalities in detail; that's why I love writing this kind of post. So OF COURSE I had to do it with Hogwarts Legacy characters!
Tumblr media
If you don't know this test, it's a personality test based on a theory written by Carl Gustav Jung that divides people in 16 different types of personalities. The personalities are defined by different combinations of letters that represent specific aspects of our behaviour and way of thinking: "I" for "Introverted", for example, "T" for "Thinking", "J" for "Judging", and so it goes. This way, your result will be something like "ENTJ", or "ISFP". This test is not universally accepted as scientific, true or correct, BUT I think it's a lot of fun. If you don't know your MBTI yet, you can take the test here.
Of course, this is heavily based on headcanon. Especially in the case of this game, I feel there are characters we barely know anything about - all we "know" is actually headcanon. 🤣 But I also think those headcanons are pretty much "accepted" by biggest part of the fandom, so hopefully you'll understand why I classified each one of them the way I did. I tried to focus on the students, but, when I couldn't find any student that would fit an specific personality type, I resorted to the other characters (Hogwarts staff, Hogsmeade, etc).
So, let's try this. Let me know what you think, please! 💚
THE ANALYSTS
OMINIS GAUNT: The Architect (INTJ) - Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging
Tumblr media
Thoughtful. Their inner world is a private, complex one
Love perfecting the details of life, applying creativity and rationality to everything they do. Their minds are never at rest
Pride themselves on their ability to think for themselves, not to mention their uncanny knack for seeing right through phoniness and hypocrisy
May be cynical about human nature more generally, assuming that most people are lazy, unimaginative, or simply doomed to mediocrity
They question everything and prefer to make their own discoveries. In their quest to find better ways of doing things, they aren’t afraid to break the rules or risk disapproval: in fact, they rather enjoy it (and Heaven help anyone who tries to slow them down by enforcing pointless rules or offering poorly thought-out criticism)
They don't mind acting alone, perhaps because they don't like waiting around for others to catch up with them. They also generally prefer making decisions without asking for anyone else's input. At times, this lone-wolf behavior can come across as insensitive, as it fails to take into consideration other people's thoughts, desires, and plans
Because Architects value truth and depth, many common social practices - from small talk to white lies - may seem pointless or downright stupid to them. It would be a mistake, however, to view Architects as uncaring. These personalities feel deeply: when things go wrong or when they hurt others, Architects are personally affected and spend much time and energy trying to figure out why things happened the way that they did
Architects can be single-minded, with little patience for frivolity, distractions, or idle gossip. That said, they're far from dull or humorless. Many Architects are known for their irreverent wit, and beneath their serious exteriors, they often have a sharp, delightfully sarcastic sense of humor
ELEAZAR FIG: The Logician (INTP) - Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Logicians often lose themselves in thought - which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. People with this personality type hardly ever stop thinking, 'cause they can’t help but puzzle over the mysteries of the universe
Logicians are Introverts and tend to get tired out by extensive socializing. After a long day, they crave time alone to consult their own thoughts. But when they connect with someone who can match their mental energy, these personalities absolutely light up, leaping from one thought to another. Few things energize them like the opportunity to swap ideas or enjoy a lively debate with another curious, inquiring soul.
They love to analyze patterns. Without necessarily knowing how they do it, people with this personality type often have a Sherlock Holmes-like knack for spotting discrepancies and irregularities. When it comes to dissecting a tricky, multilayered problem and coming up with a creative solution, few personality types can match Logicians’ creative genius and potential.
The "analysis paralysis" can affect multiple areas of Logicians' lives. People with this personality type can overthink even the smallest of decisions.
IMELDA REYES: The Commander (ENTJ) - Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging
Tumblr media
People with this personality type embody the gift of confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. However, Commanders are also characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they've set for themselves.
If there's anything Commanders love, it's a good challenge, big or small, and they firmly believe that given enough time and resources, they can achieve any goal. This quality makes people with the Commander personality type brilliant entrepreneurs, and their ability to think strategically and hold a long-term focus while executing each step of their plans with determination and precision makes them powerful business leaders.
At the negotiating table, Commanders are dominant, relentless, and unforgiving. This isn't because they are coldhearted or vicious per se - it’s more that Commander personalities genuinely enjoy the challenge, the battle of wits, the repartee that comes from this environment, and if the other side can’t keep up, that’s no reason for Commanders to fold on their own core tenet of ultimate victory.
The underlying thought running through the Commander mind might be something like "I don’t care if you call me an insensitive b*tch, as long as I remain an efficient b*tch".
If there’s anyone Commanders respect, it’s someone who is able to stand up to them intellectually, who is able to act with a precision and quality equal to their own. Commander personalities have a particular skill in recognizing the talents of others, and this helps in their team-building efforts
To people with the Commander personality type, emotional displays are displays of weakness, and it’s easy to make enemies with this approach. Especially in a professional environment, Commanders will simply crush the sensitivities of those they view as inefficient, incompetent or lazy
EVERETT CLOPTON*: The Debater (ENTP) - Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Quick-witted and audacious, Debaters aren't afraid to disagree with the status quo. In fact, they're not afraid to disagree with pretty much anything or anyone. Few things light up people with this personality type more than a bit of verbal sparring - and if the conversation veers into controversial terrain, so much the better.
It would be a mistake, though, to think of Debaters as disagreeable or mean-spirited. Instead, people with this personality type are knowledgeable and curious, with a playful sense of humor, and they can be incredibly entertaining. They simply have an offbeat, contrarian idea of fun - one that involves a healthy dose of spirited debate. They are respected for their vision, confidence, knowledge, and keen sense of humor
For this personality type, no belief is too sacred to be questioned, no idea is too fundamental to be scrutinized, and no rule is too important to be broken, or at least thoroughly tested.
As Debaters see it, most people are too ready to do as they’re told and blindly conform to social norms, pressures, and standards. Debaters enjoy the mental exercise of questioning the prevailing mode of thought, and they take a certain pleasure in uncovering the value of underdogs and outliers. Their active minds can’t help but rethink the things that everyone else takes for granted and push them in clever new directions.
*this was a very hard one. I ended up deciding for Everett because his most important interaction with MC in the game is basically telling them to break the rules and try something different, lol (and because I think this personality type is very Ravenclaw-like). But I confess I was VERY tempted to choose Peeves for this one, lol
THE DIPLOMATS
NATSAI ONAI: The Advocate (INFJ) - Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging
Tumblr media
Idealistic and principled, they aren’t content to coast through life – they want to stand up and make a difference. For Advocate personalities, success doesn’t come from money or status but from seeking fulfillment, helping others, and being a force for good in the world. Their inner vision, personal values, and a quiet, principled version of humanism guide them in all things.
While they have lofty goals and ambitions, Advocates shouldn’t be mistaken for idle dreamers. People with this personality type care about integrity, and they’re rarely satisfied until they’ve done what they know to be right. Conscientious to the core, they move through life with a clear sense of their values, and they aim never to lose sight of what truly matters – not according to other people or society at large, but according to their own wisdom and intuition.
Advocates are troubled by injustice, and they typically care more about altruism than personal gain. They often feel called to use their strengths – including creativity, imagination, and sensitivity – to uplift others and spread compassion. Many Advocates see helping others as their mission in life, and they’re always looking for ways to step in and speak up for what is right. People with this personality type also aspire to fix society’s deeper problems, in the hope that unfairness and hardship can become things of the past.
Advocates may be Introverted, but they value deep, authentic relationships with others. Few things bring these personalities as much joy as truly knowing another person – and being known in return. Advocates enjoy meaningful conversations far more than small talk, and they tend to communicate in a way that is warm and sensitive. This emotional honesty and insight can make a powerful impression on the people around them.
MIRABEL GARLICK: The Mediator (INFP) - Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Mediators have vibrant, passionate inner lives. Creative and imaginative, they happily lose themselves in daydreams, inventing all sorts of stories and conversations in their minds. These personalities are known for their sensitivity - Mediators can have profound emotional responses to music, art, nature, and the people around them.
Mediators share a sincere curiosity about the depths of human nature. Introspective to the core, they’re exquisitely attuned to their own thoughts and feelings, but they yearn to understand the people around them as well. Mediators are compassionate and nonjudgmental, always willing to hear another person’s story. When someone opens up to them or turns to them for comfort, they feel honored to listen and be of help.
Few things make Mediators more uneasy than pretending to be someone they aren’t. With their sensitivity and their commitment to authenticity, people with this personality type tend to crave opportunities for creative self-expression. They can’t help but muse about the meaning and purpose of life, dreaming up all sorts of stories, ideas, and possibilities along the way.
Like flowers in the spring, Mediators’ creativity and idealism can bloom even after the darkest of seasons. Although they know the world will never be perfect, Mediators still care about making it better however they can. This quiet belief in doing the right thing may explain why these personalities so often inspire compassion, kindness, and beauty wherever they go.
SIRONA RYAN*: The Protagonist (ENFJ) - Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging
Tumblr media
Thoughtful and idealistic, these personality types strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them. They rarely shy away from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy.
Protagonists are born leaders: their passion and charisma allow them to inspire others not just in their careers but in every arena of their lives, including their relationships. Few things bring Protagonists a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.
They tend to be vocal about their values, including authenticity and altruism. When something strikes them as unjust or wrong, they speak up. But they rarely come across as brash or pushy, as their sensitivity and insight guide them to speak in ways that resonate with others.
These personality types have an uncanny ability to pick up on people’s underlying motivations and beliefs. At times, they may not even understand how they come to grasp another person’s mind and heart so quickly. These flashes of insight can make Protagonists incredibly persuasive and inspiring communicators.
Protagonists are genuine, caring people who talk the talk and walk the walk. Nothing makes them happier than motivating other people to do what’s right.
*I know it’s a bit ironic that Sirona gets “The Protagonist” when she’s a tertiary character, hahaha. But I really see her as a very important member in the Hogsmeade community; seen as a leader figure by some. We have a lot of “if Sirona trusts them, I trust them too” moments in the game. So, that’s why.
POPPY SWEETING: The Campaigner (ENFP) - Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Campaigners are true free spirits – outgoing, openhearted, and open-minded. With their lively, upbeat approach to life, they stand out in any crowd. But even though they can be the life of the party, Campaigners don’t just care about having a good time. These personality types run deep - as does their longing for meaningful, emotional connections with other people.
Friendly and outgoing, Campaigners are devoted to enriching their relationships and their social lives. But beneath their sociable, easygoing exteriors, they have rich, vibrant inner lives as well. Without a healthy dose of imagination, creativity, and curiosity, a Campaigner simply wouldn’t be a Campaigner. These personalities believe that everything and everyone is connected, and they live for the glimmers of insight that they can gain into these connections.
They are independent and creative, always on the lookout for the magic and meaning in everyday life. Campaigner personalities are capable of intense thought and feeling - and also of kicking back and having a good time.
Even in moments of fun, Campaigners want to connect emotionally with others. Few things matter more to these personality types than having genuine, heartfelt conversations with the people they cherish. Campaigners believe that everyone deserves to express their feelings, and their empathy and warmth create spaces where even the most timid spirits can feel comfortable opening up.
THE SENTINELS
DADDY AESOP SHARP*: The Logistician (ISTJ) - Introverted, Observant, Thinking, and Judging
Tumblr media
These people tend to be reserved yet willful, with a rational outlook on life. They pride themselves on their integrity, compose their actions carefully and carry them out with methodical purpose. People with this personality type mean what they say, and when they commit to doing something, they make sure to follow through.
People with this personality type believe that there is a right way to proceed in any situation – and that anyone who pretends otherwise is probably trying to bend the rules to suit their own purposes. Logisticians have a deep respect for structure and tradition, and they are often drawn to organizations, workplaces, and educational settings that offer clear hierarchies and expectations.
People with the Logistician personality type rarely hesitate to take responsibility for their actions and choices. Generally speaking, they are quick to own up to their own mistakes, admitting the truth even if it doesn’t make them look good. To Logisticians, honesty is far more important than showmanship, and they’d rather satisfy their own conscience than lie to impress someone else.
At times, Logisticians might unfairly misjudge people who can’t match their rigorous self-control. Even if Logisticians don’t speak these judgments aloud, their disdain can come through regardless, earning them a reputation for being somewhat strict or unempathetic.
*the description of this personality type seems very fitting for an ex-auror to me haha
ANNE SALLOW: The Defender (ISFJ) - Introverted, Observant, Feeling, and Judging
Tumblr media
In their unassuming, understated way, Defenders help make the world go round. Hardworking and devoted, people with this personality type feel a deep sense of responsibility to those around them. Defenders can be counted on to meet deadlines, remember birthdays and special occasions, and shower their loved ones with gestures of care and support. But they rarely demand recognition for all that they do, preferring instead to operate behind the scenes.
Though sensitive and caring, Defenders also have excellent analytical abilities and an eye for detail. And despite their reserve, they tend to have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships. They are true altruists, meeting kindness with kindness and engaging with the work and people they believe in with enthusiasm and generosity.
Among Defenders’ most distinctive traits is loyalty. Rare is the Defender who allows a friendship or relationship to fade away from lack of effort. People with this personality type are known for dropping everything and lending a hand whenever a friend or family member is going through a hard time. Defenders’ sense of loyalty doesn’t stop with their nearest and dearest - it often extends to their communities, their employers, and even family traditions.
For Defenders, “good enough” is rarely good enough. People with this personality type can be meticulous to the point of perfectionism. They take their responsibilities personally, consistently going above and beyond and doing everything that they can to exceed others’ expectations. Even then, they are known for their humility, and they rarely seek the spotlight.
Defenders have a deeply social nature. Thanks to their ability to remember the details of other people’s lives, Defenders have a special talent for making their friends and acquaintances feel seen, known, and cherished.
DINAH HECAT: The Executive (ESTJ) - Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, and Judging
Tumblr media
Executives are representatives of tradition and order, utilizing their understanding of what is right, wrong and socially acceptable to bring families and communities together. Embracing the values of honesty, dedication and dignity, people with the Executive personality type are valued for their clear advice and guidance, and they happily lead the way on difficult paths.
Strong believers in the rule of law and authority that must be earned, Executive personalities lead by example, demonstrating dedication and purposeful honesty, and an utter rejection of laziness and cheating, especially in work.
Executives are aware of their surroundings and live in a world of clear, verifiable facts - the surety of their knowledge means that even against heavy resistance, they stick to their principles and push an unclouded vision of what is and is not acceptable. Their opinions aren’t just empty talk either, as Executives are more than willing to dive into the most challenging projects, improving action plans and sorting details along the way, making even the most complicated tasks seem easy and approachable.
MATILDA WEASLEY: The Consul (ESFJ) - Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, and Judging
Tumblr media
They are attentive and people-focused, and they enjoy taking part in their social community. Their achievements are guided by decisive values, and they willingly offer guidance to others. People with this personality type form the bedrock of many communities, opening their homes – and their hearts – to friends, loved ones, and neighbors.
Consuls do believe in the power of hospitality and good manners, and they tend to feel a sense of duty to those around them. Generous and reliable, people with this personality type often take it upon themselves to hold their families and their communities together. They have a talent for making the people in their lives feel supported, cared for, and secure.
Consuls are altruists. They take seriously their responsibilities to give back, serve others, and do the right thing. And Consuls believe that there is a clear right thing to do in nearly every situation. While some personality types adopt a more lenient, live-and-let-live attitude, Consuls may find it difficult not to judge when someone takes a path that strikes them as misguided. They have a clear moral compass.
Consuls rarely miss a birthday or holiday. Devoted to their relationships, they commit even the smallest details of their friends’ and loved ones’ lives to memory. Loyal to the core, they build lasting relationships, and they can be counted on to show up whenever a helping hand - or a listening ear - is needed. They put a great deal of energy into making other people feel special and celebrated, and they may take it personally when someone doesn’t seem to appreciate their efforts.
For many people with the Consul personality type, one of life’s greatest challenges is accepting that they can’t control anyone else’s thoughts or behavior - not even those who are nearest and dearest to them.
THE EXPLORERS
AMIT THAKKAR: The Virtuoso (ISTP) - Introverted, Observant, Thinking, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
They tend to have an individualistic mindset, pursuing goals without needing much external connection. They engage in life with inquisitiveness and personal skill, varying their approach as needed. They love to explore with their hands and their eyes, touching and examining the world around them with cool rationalism and spirited curiosity.
Virtuosos explore ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error and first-hand experience. They enjoy having other people take an interest in their projects and sometimes don’t even mind them getting into their space. They enjoy lending a hand and sharing their experience, especially with the people they care about.
Virtuosos are actually quite enigmatic. Friendly but very private, calm but suddenly spontaneous, extremely curious but unable to stay focused, Virtuoso personalities can be a challenge to predict, even by their friends and loved ones.
The biggest issue Virtuosos are likely to face is that they often act too soon, taking for granted their permissive nature and assuming that others are the same. They’ll be the first to tell an insensitive joke, get overly involved in someone else’s project, roughhouse and play around, or suddenly change their plans because something more interesting came up.
ABRAHAM RONEN: The Adventurer (ISFP) - Introverted, Observant, Feeling, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Adventurers are true artists – although not necessarily in the conventional sense. For this personality type, life itself is a canvas for self-expression. From what they wear to how they spend their free time, Adventurers act in ways that vividly reflect who they are as unique individuals.
Driven by curiosity and eager to try new things, people with this personality often have a fascinating array of passions and interests. With their exploratory spirits and their ability to find joy in everyday life, Adventurers can be among the most interesting people you’ll ever meet. The irony? Unassuming and humble, Adventurers tend to see themselves as “just doing their own thing,” so they may not even realize how remarkable they really are.
Adventurers embrace a flexible, adaptable approach to life. Some personality types thrive on strict schedules and routines, but not Adventurers. They take each day as it comes, doing what feels right to them in the moment. And they make sure to leave plenty of room in their lives for the unexpected - with the result that many of their most cherished memories are of spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment outings and adventures, whether by themselves or with their loved ones.
This flexible mindset makes Adventurers remarkably tolerant and open-minded. These personalities genuinely love living in a world filled with all kinds of people - even people who disagree with them or choose radically different lifestyles. It’s no surprise, then, that Adventurers are unusually open to changing their minds and rethinking their opinions. If any personality type believes in giving something (or someone) a second chance, it’s Adventurers.
In their relationships, Adventurers are warm, friendly, and caring, taking wholehearted enjoyment in the company of their nearest and dearest. But make no mistake: this is an Introverted personality type, meaning that Adventurers need dedicated alone time to recharge their energy after socializing with others. This alone time is what allows Adventurers to reestablish a sense of their own identity - in other words, to reconnect with who they truly are.
SEBASTIAN SALLOW: The Entrepreneur (ESTP) - Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
Entrepreneurs always have an impact on their immediate surroundings. Laughing and entertaining with a blunt humor, Entrepreneur personalities love to be the center of attention. They keep their conversations energetic, with a good dose of intelligence.
Entrepreneurs are the likeliest personality type to make a lifestyle of risky behavior. They live in the moment and dive into the action - they are the eye of the storm. Entrepreneurs leap before they look, fixing their mistakes as they go, rather than sitting idle, preparing contingencies and escape clauses. They are good making critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality in a process of rapid-fire rational stimulus response.
To Entrepreneurs, it makes more sense to use their own moral compass than someone else’s: rules were made to be broken. This is a sentiment few high school instructors or corporate supervisors are likely to share, and can earn Entrepreneur personalities a certain reputation. But if they minimize the trouble-making, harness their energy, and focus through the boring stuff, Entrepreneurs are a force to be reckoned with.
With perhaps the most perceptive, unfiltered view of any type, Entrepreneurs have a unique skill in noticing small changes. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new clothing style, or a broken habit, people with this personality type pick up on hidden thoughts and motives where most types would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. They use these observations immediately, calling out the change and asking questions, often with little regard for sensitivity
They are full of passion and energy, complemented by a rational mind. Inspiring and convincing, they are natural group leaders, pulling everyone along the path less traveled, bringing excitement everywhere they go. But they enjoy the drama, the passion, the pleasure: if they aren’t careful, they may get too caught in the moment, take things too far, and run roughshod over more sensitive people - or forget to take care of their own health and safety.
GARRETH WEASLEY: The Entertainer (ESFP) - Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, and Prospecting
Tumblr media
These people love vibrant experiences, engaging in life eagerly and taking pleasure in discovering the unknown. They can be very social, often encouraging others into shared activities. Entertainers get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and want everyone else to feel that way, too. No other personality type is as generous with their time and energy as Entertainers when it comes to encouraging others, and no other personality type does it with such irresistible style.
Utterly social, Entertainers enjoy the simplest things, and there’s no greater joy for them than just having fun with a good group of friends. They love the spotlight, and all the world’s a stage.
Though it may not always seem like it, Entertainers know that it’s not all about them - they are observant, and very sensitive to others’ emotions. People with this personality type are often the first to help someone talk out a challenging problem, happily providing emotional support and practical advice. However, if the problem is about them, Entertainers are more likely to avoid a conflict altogether than to address it head-on. They usually love a little drama and passion, but not so much when they are the focus of the criticisms it can bring.
Entertainers recognize value and quality, which on its own is a fine trait. They also have the strongest aesthetic sense of any personality type: knowing what’s attractive the moment they see it, Entertainers aren’t afraid to change their surroundings to reflect their personal style. Entertainers are naturally curious, exploring new designs and styles with ease.
They are welcome wherever there’s a need for laughter, playfulness, and a volunteer to try something new and fun - and there’s no greater joy for Entertainer personalities than to bring everyone else along for the ride. Entertainers can chat for hours, sometimes about anything but the topic they meant to talk about, and share their loved ones’ emotions through good times and bad.

As a reminder, this diverts heavily from Canon, using the characters from the game as foundations for a different story. Written in y/n (but slowly going back through to remove and leave only a few sparingly), it has more of a focus on Victorian standards for courting/relationships instead of just “hot and heavy” so to speak. Hi! Everything I see about this hp game is just worse and worse, but one thing I don’t get is the Sirona Ryan character? I don’t get why that’s bad, but I think it’s maybe because I don’t know how to pronounce it? This game is a trash fire of hate crimes, but I truly, honestly don’t get the name. Could you please explain it? Thank you very much ❤️
I edited that out of my post because I was worried that I'm just being ignorant about it. I still worry that maybe I was wrong to bring it up. So I'll walk you through my logic, but if this is just cultural ignorance on my part, I apologize.
I saw someone on tiktok explain it, and I'll repeat that if you don't mind. There was a joke in a show I never watched (friends? himym? can't remember) where a character meets someone's parent and that parent looks like, you know, the "man in a dress" transphobic gag. And she asks "what's your name?" and the parent says "Amanda." So she goes "Ohhh, of course, A Man DUH."
Amanda is a real name. But it still got used for a transphobic joke.
So. Sirona is a real Celtic name. It's genuinely a beautiful name. And Ryan could have been harmless as a surname. But in the context of a franchise that belongs to the most well known TERF, a franchise that has the repeated problem of names like Kingsley Shacklebolt, and even names like Remus Lupin that are just "I named him what he is," I just don't think they picked this name for harmless reasons. This is the kind of thing you'd avoid when you know you're writing for a franchise where the fans are used to reading into names this way. This is a world where more than one name is an on-the-nose wordplay based on the character's marginalized identity. Why wouldn't people see this as the same thing, with the new writers continuing JKR's pattern?
This is the same game that gave the player character a slave, advertised itself for letting us visit the kitchen with the other happy slaves, and has its entire premise drowning in antisemitism. Like JKR's choices of names, these issues have been criticized for years. The choice to double down on them rather than choose any other story is deliberate. This game is steeped in bigotry, and people are rarely single-issue bigots. They didn't put in a queer character for us, they put in a queer character for an opportunity to hurt us. That's why I said I'm sure they went to a list of names and picked the one that starts with "sir." Like with the ram's horn (which could have been harmless in a different story, since ram's horn instruments aren't exclusive to Judaism) the larger context is what makes it feel targeted.
Again, if this is my cultural ignorance, I apologize. But this is why I found it uncomfortable. Even if I'm wrong to feel this way, I hope you at least understand where it came from.

Finally came around to create a small character sheet for Ash! My OC Hogwarts Legacy/Wizarding World OC, Auror and Sirona’s wife.
I didn’t include much text on the sheet itself, but if you’re interested in her background, keep reading under the cut!
Born: 15th of August 1861 in Edinburgh, Scotland Nationality: British Gender: Female Blood Status: Pure Blood Height: 174 cm (5'8) Eye colour: Brown Hair colour: Ashen blonde Sexuality: Lesbian Occupation: Auror (1881)                       Lead Auror (1888) Family: Allan Crowley (Father)              Ophelia Crowley (Mother)              Philomena Crowley (Great grandmother)              Sirona Ryan (Wife ⚭ 1892)              Kelly (Adopted daughter, 1898)                  Saoirse (Adopted daughter, 1898)
Early Years & Family Relationships
Aislinn Crowley, called Ash, was born in Edinburgh as the daughter of the famous aurors Allan and Ophelia Crowley. Her family was extremely toxic and strict and had high expectations of her. Like most members of her family, she was supposed to serve in the Ministry of Magic and marry into a good family. As a result of this pressure, Ash often felt caged and inferior even as a child, and her relationship with her parents was hardly of an affectionate nature. Even Ash's bubbly personality, as well as her quick temper was viewed with suspicion by her family, and they never stopped preaching to her about the way she had to behave.
Due to their work, her parents rarely had time for her and employed a witch named Mimsy to take care of their daughter and raise her. Tragically, Mimsy passed away when Ash was just thirteen years old. Also in her teens, her parents had little more than rules and set future plans for her and made her feel that all that mattered to them was the family's reputation and that no one stepped out of line. Ash had a hard time tolerating family gatherings and from an early age was labeled the black sheep of the family, especially after she revealed to her parents that she was a lesbian.
After her successful entry into the ministry and taking up work as an Auror, Ash's reputation with her family improved a little. This only lasted until her parents arranged a marriage for her with a highly respected Ministry wizard, whom Ash rigorously refused. While her parents knew of her relationship with Sirona Ryan, they did not accept it. Ash, however, made them understand that Sirona was the only one to whom she would ever take the vows of marriage. That was the moment when she ultimately broke with her family and the relation between them finally crumbled. They never spoke a word to each other ever again.
  Personality
She is a kind and life-affirming character who comes off pretty self-confident and tough most of the time. She’s also very justice-loving and protective of her friends. If she overheard people talking bad about someone she liked, she sometimes would react very emotional and has been seen punching some of her classmates because of that.
Due to the toxic and judgmental nature of her family, she has learned to mask her fears and insecurities and only dares to drop her mask with a few people. She suffered from sudden anxiety attacks. This got better after she became friends with Sirona.
 Hogwarts Years
Tumblr media
By the age of eleven, Ash received her Hogwarts letter and soon after came to start her first school year, where she was sorted into Gryffindor. Thanks to her kind and bubbly nature Ash quickly made friends, including the fellow Gryffindor Ruth, as well as Ravenclaw Sirona Ryan, with whom she literally collided during her first broom flying lesson.
Ash proved herself to be very skilled and talented in the subjects Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms and Transfiguration but had difficulties with Herbology and Potions. Especially in the subject of potions she ran into more and more problems during the school years, mostly on account of the fact that most of the potion ingredients made her feel nauseous. On one occasion, it was so bad that she had to throw up right into the cauldron. Sirona was still laughing about it years later and affectionately teased Ash about it.
Ash was on very good terms with Dinah Hecat, her teacher for Defence Against the Dark Arts, who also gave her extra assignments and helped her prepare well for her future career while she was still in school. Even as an adult and after many years, Ash still maintained a friendship with her.
Since Ash needed at least an "Exceeds Expectations" in Potions for her N.E.W.T.s to qualify for Auror training, Sirona actively supported her and  the two practiced day and night. As a result, Ash managed to get the required grade in the subject. Potions actually was the only subject in which she did not have an "Outstanding".
  Ash & Sirona
Tumblr media
Ash and Sirona first met when they literally crashed into eachother during their first broom flying lesson. After realizing that nothing bad had happened to them, they couldn't help but burst out laughing. This moment marked the beginning of their relationship.
The two quickly became inseparable and from that moment on hardly ever spent a minute without one another. Their understanding for each other worked even without words and they shared their deepest secrets and dreams. When they were together, they didn't have to put on a mask and could be themselves without being judged for it. They studied for exams together and played pranks, often to the annoyance of their classmates and teachers. Ash helped Sirona through a very difficult period in her life and supported her in pursuing her most ardent goal, even though it was anything but easy. Sirona was deeply grateful to have her at her side and always described Ash as her kindred spirit. They were also very protective of eachother and not seldom Ash got into fights when classmates talked bad about Sirona. Since the age of 14, her and Ash jokingly referred to each other as the 'other half' of one another. Over the years, their friendship had become so profound and intimate that many classmates described it as love, even before the two realized it themselves. But soon it was a thing they knew for a fact- they loved eachother and they had become the most important person in the other one’s life.
Ash usually spent her Christmas vacations with Sirona and her family, since her own family never celebrated any holidays. She was well liked by Sirona’s parents and always welcome in their home. As the years went on she rarely went back home to her family in Edinburgh, and rather stayed in Hogwarts for her holidays. She also spent the summer vacations together with Sirona in Hogsmeade, where the two of them waited tables at the Three Broomsticks and Sirona dreamed of one day owning such place by herself.
By the time their seventh school year drew to a close, Ash had completed all of her N.E.W.T.s with an "Outstanding" thus qualifying for a career as an Auror. She was excited, but she also knew that it would mean leaving Hogsmeade and Sirona, who was in the running to succeed her as the owner of the Three Broomsticks, for at least three years.
Their naïve dream of spending their future as a couple in a small cottage near Hogsmeade was slipping further and further away, but the stakes were high.
After a tearful parting and a promise to never lose sight of each other, Ash leaves for London to face her Auror training.
Over four years, apart from Sirona's few allowed brief visits to the ministry, they communicated only through owls. But sent eachother a letter at least every two days.
Ash learned that by a stroke of luck, Sirona had become the proprietress of the Three Broomsticks and was now managing the pub single-handedly. Ash, on the other hand, had passed her Auror training with distinction and had already made a name for herself during her first years by taking on an important mission. The two couldn't be happier for each other, but they missed each other terribly.
After a few years, the Ministry of Magic allowed Ash to leave London for the first time and she immediately set off for Hogsmeade. Sirona could hardly wait for her to arrive and as she finally stood in the doorway of the Three Broomsticks, they knew their love for each other was just as strong as the day they parted. If not, even stronger. Overjoyed they celebrate their reunion, making plans for the future. However, due to a dramatic incident, Ash is called back to the Ministry only a few days later. An association of dark wizards, who until recently worked underground, have taken the offensive and are now threatening not only the world of wizards and witches, but also the Muggle world. All Aurors were called back to London for immediate action.
Throughout this mission Ash is badly wounded in an ambush after tracking down the leader and barely survives. But thanks to her taking action, the rest of the Aurors manage to confront and kill their leader, Silas Vandalore.
When Sirona heard that Ash had been seriously injured, she immediately travels to London to be with her, fearing for her beloveds life. Back in the day, she often worried for Ash and was afraid to read her name among the obituaries in the Daily Prophet. To her great relief, however, Ash is strong enough and survives her injuries. However, the curse had left a mark on her and the doctors make her understand that she would hardly become as strong as she once was and that the remaining power of the curse would slowly drain her life energy. Later, she is given a special potion brewed by her old potions professor Aesop Sharp that would help slowing down the process of the curse and and allow her to live a relatively pain-free life, if she drank the potion on a regular base.
After withdrawing a little from the ministry and succeeding Dinah Hecat as professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Ash and Sirona finally settle down together in a small cottage on the outskirts of Hogsmeade like they always dreamed to. They get married in 1892 and continue to live a happy and fulfilled life together. In 1898 the two adopt two little girls, whose families had been killed by black wizards, Kelly and Saoirse, and raise them as their daughters.
  Auror Career
In 1878, Ash began her Auror training in London. In the beginning she had a hard time adjusting to the new situation and life, but within a few months she had fully adapted and three years later completed her training with distinction. Just a few weeks later, she embarked on her first mission, where she would meet the hit wizard Aiden Langley, with whom she would remain close friends for many years to come. Working together, they uncovered a circle of notorious black wizards, escorted them to Azkaban and made a reputation for themselves within the Ministry.
In 1888 Ash takes the position as a Lead Auror within her department.
During 1889, when several cases of brutal murders involving Muggles and wizards occur all over Britain, Ash takes up the case and comes across the trail of a massive organization that has made it its goal to exterminate Muggles and all non-pureblood wizards and witches. As they have members all across the country, Ash sets out to find and turn in the leader, who, to the dismay of the wizarding world, is a former Hogwarts professor also not unknown to herself. Silas Vandalore.
She confronts him in Edinburgh, where he imprisoned and tortured a Muggle family. However, she is ambushed and gets severely injured by Silas with a curse. Langley finds her in time and takes her to St. Mungo's, where she continues to fight for her life several months. Deeply worried, Sirona travels to London and does not leave Ash's side, fearing that she might eventually lose her. Fortunately, though, Ash is strong enough and survives. However, the curse has left a mark on her and the doctors make her understand that she would hardly become as strong as she once was and that the remaining power of the curse would slowly drain her life energy. Later, she is given a special potion brewed by her old potions professor Aesop Sharp that would help slowing down the process oft he curse and and allow her to live a relatively pain-free life. She retains her position as Auror, but increasingly works in the background. When Dinah Hecat retires, she takes over as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, where she taught students up until she hit her sixtieth birthday and passed on her position to her successor.
