ok, i got this ask ten days ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since. Because I got two other asks asking for fiddauthor, and I dON'T KNOW HOW TO LET THEM DOWN LIGHTLY BECAUSE I'M A FIDDLESTAN BITCH THROUGH AND THROUGH 😭😭😭😭 I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, fiddauthor is great and makes sense and everything. But listen. Billford and fiddauthor are multidimensional ships, they are good! But FIDDLESTAN!?!? that shit is the WHAT-THE-HECK-A-HEDRON!!!!!!! Even though it's literally 100% speculation, the implications are FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!! I jumped between three ships so far during this gravity falls thing, each time thinking one is better than the other. I've decided that FIDDLESTAN IS KING!!!!!! I'm sorry. I could rant about them forever. I've been listening to nothing but extended versions of disco music for the past week. (YES THEY HAD A CRAZY ROMANTIC FLING IN VEGAS NO I WILL NOT ELABORATE!!!! (yes i will. I will elaborate at some point. it will be like ten pages or text. or I will draw it. idk.))

not rude dw. i developed spinal stenosis in my neck that caused nerve damage and it effects my dominant hand/arm. im technically still in my long as fuck recovery for the ACDF surgery i had for the stenosis too but im past the oxycodone stage thank fucking god. they also found some minor stenosis in my lower back during an MRI a few months ago but it doesnt need surgery yet thankfully. like atm its just one disc thats slightly bulging out and like?? its so tiny compared to how my neck was but it can hurt so much and spasm so hard and i am sick to bastard death of it but its!!! gonna be with me!! forever!!!! until i inevitably need surgery for it. so im in physical therapy indefinitely now for that but i have the option for injections if it gets worse. hopefully it wont for a long time. if it progresses rapidly like the stenosis in my neck did tho im gonna start murdering people

Have you ever been so inspired to make something, but lack the technical skill to make it, or for some reason or another have no way to externally express this like pent up need to make SOMETHING, and it feels like a gazillion thoughts running through your head and you get so restlessly frustrated because you NEED to make something, but for some reason or another, be it personal or technical, you just can’t? And then you end up giving yourself an anxiety attack and heart palpitations and it feels like you’re going to explode?

ahhh sorry you're asking the wrong person, i don't practise as much as i should and i actually don't know much about art at all, technically...?? i can't really tell you what to do since that can be whatever you're interested in... after all there are countless resources on the internet for figures, colour, perspective, everything...

sorry anon but this is way too broad a question, i think there's nothing for it than to pick up a sketchbook and start sketching? like from life, or find any reference images that catch your eye?? the more you draw the more peripheral skills you pick up... (e.g. clothed figures = poses + clothing folds, still lifes = shapes, colour, shading, etc...)
