growing up without learning what is and isn't appropriate socially means afo probably embarrassed himself more often than he would like to admit in front of others because he didn't know something he normally does was a social faux pas. luckily either they were too smitten with him to care or too scared to say anything about it.

I don't know how I didn't think of this sooner. A Movie Star AU!
Second and Third are Yoichi's favorite actors in his favorite superhero movie and he longs for a chance to meet them. Sadly, he can't because every fan meet-up is too far away and too expensive for him to even consider going.
Then an opportunity comes in the form of his nephews, Tomura and Izuku, who want to go to a meet-up where not only their favorite actors (Shouta Aizawa and Toshinori Yagi) are, but Second and Third are there too! Yoichi agrees to take them because he knows his brother can't stand Yagi.
Together, they go!
Aww how sweet!
1. Yoichi and All for One have a much better relationship in this AU. I mean, AFO is still overprotective but since he doesn't have a private army, he can't lock Yoichi up in a bank vault. Instead AFO is forced to act civilized if he wants to see his brother at family dinners. Yoichi has some objections to his brother's unethical business practices so they still fight, but more like normal siblings.
2. Second was a child actor and Yoichi has been a fan from the beginning. Third debuted in Yoichi's favorite superhero movie as Second's love interest. From that point on, Yoichi became a huge fan of both of them. He was thrilled for them when they came out publicly as a couple in real life.
3. AFO can't stand Toshinori Yagi because he supports unions and has helped employees in several of AFO's companies unionize. Izuku is a fan for the same reason his dad can't stand that actor.
4. Tomura is Inko Shimura's nephew and has been living with them ever since a tragic earthquake destroyed his family. (It really was an accident this time.) Tomura became obsessed with Aizawa's comedy show and it helped him through his grief.
5. Nana and AFO still hate each other, but no more than the usual for mother-in-laws who think their daughter could have done way better.
6. Yoichi is the most doting uncle ever, and he jumps on the chance to take his nephews to a meet-up with all of their favorite actors. They got Inko's permission, so they don't feel the need to tell AFO.
7. At the meet-up, Second and Third become smitten with Yoichi and find an excuse to ask him to replace an actor who didn't show up for their latest TV episode. (Actually they wrote in the part just for Yoichi, Second is directing as well as acting and Third is the scriptwriter.) They're both trying to hint to Yoichi that they are interested in a triad but Yoichi thinks he's being overly optimistic as a fan and reading too much into their words.
8. Yoichi becomes instantly popular, and his character gets a bigger role as a result. Izuku and Tomura are helping Yoichi practice because Aizawa and Yagi are on the same show, so this is their excuse to see more of their own favorite actors.
9. Ironically Yoichi might have remained clueless forever if AFO hadn't confronted Second and Third about seducing his brother. Silly AFO, playing accidental matchmaker again.
(All ask game AUs are free to use in my Three Weeks of Trioholders event starting on Monday.)

*Huge Rant Incoming*
Hi Mermie :> How are you? With all the asks you have already answered regarding MHA, I hope this is not too annoying. I just need to be irritating about this for a bit cuz I have been grabbing all my frnds to vent to them about MHA and the ending. It's my coping method TvT
Regarding the ending I think, I was a lil disappointed. There are so many opinions floating around but in general I do agree with the fact that most of the problems arise because the plotlines that had so much buildup weren't really ended in a satisfying or logical manner and it didn't really feel like an ending that upheld the messages of the anime. Which is crazy to me because this is one of the few cases where even if the anime ended in that "Wow! Happy Ending! Everyone and Everything is fine and we all became the greatest heroes", it would still fit because my hero always gave me that vibe of, "Oh! You can also be a hero! Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!", and it still SOMEHOW never felt patronizing or corny even though I usually hate shit like that. I was so flabbergasted when I actually felt motivated to do better when I first saw MHA because the show is so OBVIOUS in it's messages and metaphors. MHA is not a subtle show but it still somehow WORKS?!
No matter what the ending was there would always be someone who is disappointed; especially for a fandom as huge as this. It can also not be overlooked that due to the insane and frankly inhumane workload, Horikoshi obviously had to cut corners and the time needed to really flesh out all the ideas he had; but I still can't help but feel frustrated with how things ended. So many of our favorite animes and stories have to suffer because of this and I would rather wait 2 years to get a better and well rounded ending than for it to be rushed like this :/
Regardless of all the commotion, I still think that for all the things MHA did wrong, it also managed to do a lot of things right. Does the show suffer from not giving female leads fulfilling plots even when they have amazing powers and personalities? Yes. Does the show fall short in committing to give long term consequences to it's characters? Also yes. But at the end of it I really think MHA's biggest strength lies in it's character writing. I HATED Bakugo's guts the whole first season really, but he ended up being one of, if not the MOST heroic characters in the show. I really love all of the characters and the things they stand for. Even if LoV was a run-of-the-mill typical villain group, I loved all of them too and was really invested in ALL of their storylines. Deku is also such an amazing MC with so much potential even out of the show. He is relatable, sweet, heroic but also COMPLETELY UNHINGED. lol. I cannot name one character that I "hate" in MHA (except AFO, he can go jump in an acid pool for all I care). So it was really disappointing to see their arcs (especially the villains, and ESPECIALLY SHIGARAKI) end like that, ;-;
But even after all this I really, for the life of me cannot hate this show. It is one of the only Animes that I watched alongside the fandom, otherwise I usually wait for them to end so I can binge it altogether. Shouto was one of- if not my first anime blorbo <3 I still remember how ABSOLUTELY SMITTEN I was (still am unfortunately) back then. He remained my uncontested fave for a long LONG time. Even with all the toxic shit the MHA fandom is up to at times, it's still one of the most fun experiences I have had in a fandom. I have met some of my favorite fanfic writers because of this show, found so many amazing artists and have constantly been bamboozled by how talented the ppl in this space were. I have made a lot of steadfast frnds because of this show. My bff (a devoted bakugirlie) and I would spend hours coming up with hcs, talking about character analysis and coming up with all different theories for the show. Those were some good times :D
It might not be the best ending but MHA is a good show. The journey to get here was one I will never forget <3
Lmao, you’re always welcome to rant, Castle. 🥹 I’m always happy to talk about the ending, I have a lot of thoughts about it!!! But okay let’s have a chinwag. I’m curious—if you could talk through your ideal ending, what would it be? Because I quite liked the ending Hori’s given us, even with my attachment to Deku being a hero via OFA lmfaoooo. I think yeah, Hori rushed things to the end, but I don’t believe things would’ve played out any differently if he’d given himself like, another year or whatever. I think he’s had this ending in mind for a while now, and I don’t think anything could have talked him into like… sticking around to tell it longer. 🥺
I do think the difference (with my liking the ending) is that I’ve never been invested in a Happy Ending for the villains LMFAO. I’m so sorry. 😭 I like them—I love them—as characters in the story, but I am not a stan in the way that like… I’d go out of my way to write a fic for them, or buy their merch, you know? And I think the main reason for that (for me) is like, how very clearly marked for messy ends they were, like, right from the start LMAO. It sucks ass that they were neglected/actively abused/earmarked for some insane world domination plan, and it sucks ass that for them help never came, or was offered too late—but they’re villains LOL. Most of them make active choices in their adulthoods to be shitheads. 🥹 And we could argue until the cows come home about whether or not you’re really making a choice, if all you’ve known is abuse/neglect/doomsday grooming, but tbh, in a world where people can have devastating and destructive powers that they can then turn on other people, I kind of think it’s a moot point. 💀 Like—it doesn’t matter how sad it is that Shigaraki was left to wander the streets as a tiny kid, shellshocked and idk, covered in the remains of his family—by the end of the manga, he was literally at the point where if he had escaped Deku's clutches one more time, he would've dusted the entire country. The boy had to go, LOL. Ship him off to the afterlife by express post!!
There’s a great discussion in there about the cycle of abuse, and what we (as a society) owe the victims of it, and how Horikoshi absolutely has thing about like, retconning his abusers to either like, try and undo some of the severity of what they’ve done (Endeavour, Bakugou to some extent) or give them moments of sympathy (Shiggy’s dad, when he’s gushing about his baby boy to AFO), but the thing that MHA makes very explicit by the end is that like—sometimes things suck, and sometimes you can’t save people from the damage that gets dealt to them, but you can stop them from dealing more damage out to others, and perpetuating the cycle.
(This is a bit of an aside, but my favourite thing about the villains is that they were genuinely dangerous people. We as a fandom have the gift of like—seeing their hurt, their tragedy, for what it is. We see the neglected, abused, lonely children they were. The cruelties and the misunderstandings. But the people of the MHA world don't get that magical ability. Instead they get to see one of their classmates—who was chill and normal and fun—suddenly attack a boy just to drink his blood bc she’s like, obsessed with him. They see a young man walking around with decaying hands clinging to him, and turning people to dust. They see a homeless psycho set the people they care about on fire in a roar of blue flame. You can't demand change—or pretend to, for some of them—while actively making your world a worse place. And that’s what makes them compelling, to me. I like that AFO is just—wretched, LOL. That he literally just comes out of the womb and was like ok, I’m going to ruin lives and make it generational. 💀)
Would you change their endings, if you could? 🥺 I think if I could change one thing it’d be… Bakugou dying, LOL. Like I’d either a) make it permanent b) make it cost more to bring him back. 😌 (This is why it’s a good thing Hori’s the one that wrote MHA lmfaooooo. 🥹) Actually, new question: even with your disappointment, is there anything about the ending that makes you feel a little more hopeful? 🥺 You mention how much the fandom means to you—is your love for it seperate to your enjoyment of the series? The ending made me happy—Izuku, finally getting to live his dream because his friends loved him so much. 🥹 And also after a moment or two I grew really attached to him as a teacher!!! He’s so perfect for it. 🥺 I know his students just love him. I think Horikoshi created some really lasting, powerful characters andddd… ultimately I trust in their lasting appeal. Theirs, and the story’s, overall. 😌

So, rereading Diner, and it seems like afo got married before Yoichi found second, so it sorta seems like karma? Or revenge? I just want to know what was going through his head lol
THIS IS A REALLY FUNNY STORY ACTUALLY I MADE MYSELF GIGGLE WHILE I WAS HAMMERING EVERYTHING OUT
Okay, so the story of the beginning of AFO and Inko's relationship is this: he mistook her for Yoichi. Deadass.
Inko was in her late teens, and she was running around playing vigilante because spiteful heroism runs in the Midoriya family. She fucked up one of AFO's men and when he investigated, all he saw was a green-eyed vigilante running around in a hoodie and leggings. This is Yoichi behavior. He assumes that Yoichi has re-taken up physical heroism alongside political activism. So of course he starts monologuing, pinning Inko to a wall and getting in her personal space and the sexual tension this man radiates is astronomical, okay? You can't blame Inko for being attracted to a man who looks deep into your eyes and says shit like "I would know you anywhere, even in darkness. I would recognize your beauty a thousand years from now.", okay? That said, when he kisses her, she punches him, which only makes him more certain that this is Yoichi, even though it's,,,,not lmao.
Three weeks of this go by, and by then Inko is reluctantly smitten for this man she believes is a misunderstood villain and not literal demonic Quirk whore All For One. When she reveals herself to him, he is SO fucking embarrassed. He cannot save this. If Yoichi finds out he's dead in so many different ways, you don't understand, he can't rationalize this. His men have seen him flirting with Inko, other vigilantes have seen him flirting with Inko, UGHs have seen him flirting with Inko—Yoichi is going to find out someway, somehow. So, obviously, All For One pretends that he meant to do this all along, and the very next time Yoichi makes a move that pisses him off, he shows up in public with Inko on his arm. He makes it out like he only did it to make Yoichi jealous, but in reality he was scrambling to save face.
And because Inko does make Yoichi jealous (he adores her don't get me wrong, he would just prefer her far, far away from Takashi for multiple reasons) AFO keeps her around. She looks plenty like Yoichi, and she acts a little bit like him, so AFO eventually wifes her up and they (accidentally) have Izuku together. He cares for her, and he likes her, but he's always gonna be Yoichi's main man, you know? If Yoichi ever called him in the middle of the night, AFO would be out of his marriage bed in a heartbeat.

in the Union AU AfO comes back from "overseas" only to find his wife systematically destroying the Comission so he naturally puts on an apron, starts cooking dinner and becomes a househusband because "someone has to take care of their home while she's busy getting their son back, you know? gotta make sure the katsudon is ready for when ducky returns"
all the while he doesn't stop looking at her with manic, yet inexorably smitten, awe
Actually, Izuku is at home and you know, going to school, so I think we would have AFO taking a break from his job to take care of the kids while his wife is reforming society, like Bob Parr in The Incredibles 2.
AFO making sure that Izuku never forgets his lunch and being here for life advice, from giving him memorizing tricks to how to blackmail teachers abusing their authorities and for some reason, every time Izuku calls him because he has a problem, he shows up with a shovel.

Hi!! May I request Toga, Dabi and Shiggy separately with an s/o that acts like super dumb about fighting but is (figuratively) a god at it? 😭the idea just popped into my mind like
Made HCs, since I wasn't feeling like this would make a good scenario
~Shigaraki Tomura~
•You’re very good at fighting but you don’t like doing it because it’s a drag and you’re lazy
•So you act like you suck at it, but weirdly, you never get hurt and your opponents never even land a hit on you
•Shigaraki has noticed this long before the two of you became partners, but he didn’t particularly care about it back then
•Nowadays he’s just glad you’re so good at fighting and can easily hold your own against pretty much anyone
•He just wishes you would take your League duties more seriously, you do get the things you’re assigned done, but you’re just a bit lazy about it
•Shigaraki has also tried to fight you on multiple occasions in the past, but he lost almost every time before his quirk developed and he got the whole AfO power up
•Now you wouldn’t stand a chance, unless he wasn’t using his quirk(s)
~Toga Himiko~
•Toga is absolutely smitten with you the first time you beat her in a fight and made her bleed
•Her mission from there on out is to make you bleed
•You’re very useful to the League and Toga and you tend to fight together a lot
•Your fighting styles just go together well and it’s been pretty easy for both of you since the beginning
•Toga always gets a good laugh from when someone tries to mess with you and gets utterly beaten because they annoyed you
•You’re a bit lazy when it comes to fighting though, you only do the bare minimum, but you almost always come out of it without even a scratch
•Toga admires you a lot, and you’ve been helping her develop her martial arts skills and stuff
~Dabi~
•When Dabi heard about your reputation as a great fighter, he of course had to pick a fight with you
•For you, fire is a pain to deal with, but you managed to knock him
•When Dabi woke up, all that was going through his head was “I want that one”
•He is a bit of a bully and a major tease, so when he really gets on your nerves. you take him down a notch
•Dabi has come to really like those little showdowns with you,  and he almost always gives up just so you can throw him on the floor and hold him down
•You’re aware of what he’s doing, but if he really wants his ass kicked, you’re also willing to deliver
•When you and Dabi begin dating, some money changes hands in the League, because they all made bets on how long it would take
•It’s a bit hard for you to fight with Dabi, because his flames can get a little out of control sometimes and you have to tread carefully, but you’ve gotten used to it

AUs List
Ok, wow. Y’all really liked my last Au post! Because of that, I now have enough confidence to post a list of all the dumb AUs me and my sisters, @baaaa-king and @omniithedeer, have come up with. If you’d like to enquire about any of these ideas, send me an ask!
Danny Phantom AUs.
1. An AU where Danny and Dani get adopted by a ghost family and gain 400 siblings and an Eldritch grandma.
2. Supernatural Delegations AU (a one shot of the same name is in progress.) Other supernatural/paranormal beings exists and commonly interact with each other. Ghosts have been out of contact since Pariah Dark’s reign, and when they hear about the new monarch (AKA Danny), things get wild.
3. Young Ancients AU. A forgotten ghost artifact is rediscovered, and all the ancients hold a meeting to decide who should have it in their possession. Pariah crashes the meeting and, in the scuffle, activates the artifact, de-aging everyone into their teens. Of course, they go to Danny for help. We have collectively decided that Pariah is British. No one has a say unless it's to confirm.
4. Addams Family Danny Phantom crossover where, after Danny’s powers are reviled and the whole Fenton’s A+ Parenting, Danny runs away. He ends up being found and adopted by Morticia and Gomez. Honestly disappointed no one has made this yet >:(
5. Ghost Royalty AU. Danny, Sam and Tucker are all royalty/nobility in the Zone (Undergrowth is less of an ass here, and formally adopts Sam in Urban Jungle instead of mind controlling her. You already know Danny and Tucks royalty qualifications. Also, I know this isn’t my AU specifically, but my sisters and I have a lot of prompts, so its here.)
BNHA AUs.
1. Isolation AU, inspired by Telescope by Cave Town. AFO is not Hisashi. Inko, Mitsuki and their husbands went to a fertility clinic to have children via IVF. The clinic is actually the fore front for quirk experimentations funded by AFO. Izuku and Katsuki are born from the clinic and taken away, while AFO administers a mind-altering quirk on them to make them believe their children are stillborn. They are then taken and raised in a facility with other children for 15 years before Aizawa comes and rescues them.
2. Gore Warning for this AU!!
Isolated Cannibals AU, Inspired by Animal Cannibal by Karen Skladany. Quirked Izuku AU, specifics below.
Izuku and Katsuki are kidnapped just before their quirks came in and given to the Doctor to perform experiments on them. Along with the quirks they were born with, they were given copies* of a quirk called Carnivore, which lets them digest any form of meat from any creature, and get more nutritional value from it. They can still eat fruits and Vegetables though. For 12 years, they were tortured, tested on, and used as “Disposal” for failed experiments and Nomu before they got rescued.
* Izuku’s quirk is called All for All. He can temporarily posses a quirk, make copies with either temporary or permanent features, and either bind them to himself or another person of his choosing. He can also get creative and merge two copies into one unique customized quirk. The strength of the copied quirk depends on his base quirk, so the more he practices, the stronger the copies. Holding too many quirks could affect his physical and mental health, along with possessing the original drawbacks of the copied quirks.
3. A crack AU where everyone from Class 1A + Monoma and Shinsou is related to the Addams family.
4. Homestuck crossover AU where Izuku has a tiny bit of Troll Ancestry in his bloodline and that makes him pupate when he’s 4 and in an ironic jackpot of the Troll Genetics Lottery, he pupates into a Fushcia blood Troll. This is not his actual Quirk though. His actual quirk is a mix of hydrokinesis and the ability to control sea life. Think of Percy Jackson’s demigod powers. He also has natural pheromones that allow him to control or manipulate anyone his Troll instincts think of as lesser both Humans and Trolls. I plan on making Alternia invade Earth. It happens a few weeks After the Kamino Arc.
Miscellaneous AUs.
1. Homestuck AU where there’s A mafia/syndicate organization called The Ophiuchus Collective that believes in blood equality and that rank should be dictated by hard work. The Signless helped the syndicate in the past and owe him the favour of taking care of his descendant. As they hate owing favours, once they found Karkat they do everything in their power to protect him and ascend him to the position of Heir to the Leader.
2. Smitten Kitten Eyes: Post reveal crack miraculous AU where after a mission Plagg reaches his daily cheese limit (so as to not eat his family into bankruptcy) and Adrien refuses to give him more. Because of this, the next time Adrien transforms, Plagg leave his Chat Noir eyes once everything is over. Now he must navigate life trying to explain to everyone who doesn’t know why he has Chat’s eyes. Marinette has a blast the entire time.

HEAR ME OUT
Spoiled brat DFO! Izuku. Imagine it.
His mom died soon after Izuku was born, when AFO was out of town so he couldn't heal/save her, she thought he was just a fire breathing businessan anyway, so it's not like she thought it was even possible to survive.
AFO was so excited to become a father.
He was high of his victory against Nana, when this young woman accidentally ran into him so he didn't kill her on sight. He later found out she was a lawyer in one of his shell turned legit law firms. She was the granddaughter of some yakuza group in Tokyo and was apparently ruthless in the courtroom.
(the biggest impression she had made was when one of the male lawyers in a meeting once used a condescending tone with her and she used her quirk on the man. AFO was just checking in to file in the documents that said that Tenko Shimura died so people wouldn't look for him, when he saw one of the most amusing quirk usage in a while. With a flick of her hand the man suddenly lurched ahead, hands moving towards his throat as Inko started to slowly attract the mans Adam's apple. "You know, my quirk is called Pull. It's a weak telekinesis quirk that works on small objects." She started nonchalantly while the whole room watched in horror as the lawyer man choked.
"I as the resourceful, intelligent and observent woman I am, quickly figured out that " small objects " can mean a whole lot of dangerous things. For example if I choose I could pull apart a molecule or even reorganize a DNA strand to fit my whims. But one of the most successful way I can use my quirk for, is shutting up self absorbed, condescending assholes who think they are better then me just because they own a set of balls and a dick. You might see where this might be going, hmm? "she mocked as the man came to a stop in front of her. She released the hold in his Adam's apple. He crumbled to his knees in front of her. Grabbing the man's chin, Inko made him maintain eye contact.
"I will say this once and never again. That goes to you all. Never, ever underestimate me again. Now let's continue this meeting, I have a schedule to keep to.")
AFO was, needless to say, completely smitten with the green haired, green eyes woman. And then after two years of dating the couple was happily engaged and were expecting a child. Izuku was born and was immediately the center of both their lives. Inko enjoyed spending time to much with her baby boy she decided to file in for becoming a private lawyer so she could set her own times to make more time for Izuku.
(she also met Tenko a few times, the boy was lured in by her warmth and kindness, he was introduced by afo as his godchild, he care about her)
Unfortunately tragedy struck when All Might somehow, well more his colleagues, found a connection to AFO and the firm. AM struck the building expecting to find his enemy there but found nothing but lawyers. He forcefully entered and by accident the building collapsed right on top of Inko and some others. They died on impact.
Tenko and AFO were devastated vowing to kill All Might with even more fire than before and promising the spirit of Inko that Izuku will be the most loved child in the world.
As time goes on Izuku truly is the most loved and more importantly SPOILED AS SHIT smart OP kid you have ever seen.
(izuku ends up with a varient of all for one, where he can take quirks but can't give them back unless he pulls apart some part of the quirk. He can combine his quirks however he wants but he can't transfer a quirk exactly how he got it. (tho this usually isn't really a problem as izuku isn't likely to share his quirks :P) His dad also can't take his version but Izuku can take his dad's.)
Izuku gets spoiled rotten by both his dad and Tomura. Kurogiri is his caretaker tho AFO is his main caretaker and takes him along everywhere he can. Zuku gets desensitized to blood, gore, murder, torture and the likes pretty early. But he also gets instilled some morals like no homophobia, transphobia, racism, mysogny. SA and violance against children is a no go. Like they are villains but not bad guys.
So anyway, Damm this thing got long, anything Izuku wants, Izuku will get.
He wants new toys? Papa busy a whole toy chain.
The latest tech? He gets pro hero level phones and shit.
Wants to work on the nomu with The Doctor? How could his daddy say no.
And when Izuku hears about All Might, the hero who took away his mom and brouth pain to his family, has a stockpile quirk as old as his dad? Well how could a young man not want this powerful quirk and revenge while he's at it?
You can imagine, that when Izuku expressed his interest in the quirk, well daddy had to do anything to give it to his sweet son.
Because if he didn't Izuku's temper tantrum or bad mood would drive AFO insane.
When Izuku says More!
I buy another store
And when Izuku says Now!
The sweat forms on my brow
And when Izuku says Again!
No matter where or when, we'd better all count too More now again!
When Izuku says Out!
There's no reasonable doubt
And when Izuku says Fetch!
There's no time to go fetch
And when Izuku says Obey!
You'd better find a way to make a dollar stretch for Out, fetch, obey!
Now, when he heard of All Mights quirk, he started to attack!
So I told my villain dwellers Heres a tougher nut to crack! You each a hundred possible successers start killing them at once For when Izuku's happy, it's much better for his pappy!
For 40 days and 40 nights
The ladies tried to pick it And always to the music of
I want All Mights quirk!
I want All Mights quirk!
And then a villain cried out and in their hand a panacea All Mights quirk on display and what did
Sweet Izuku say?
(Daddy?)
Yes?
Buy me North Korea!
When Izuku says. Buy!
It's like a battle cry!
And when Izuku says Mine!
We're like jelly for a spine
And if Izuku said Pweeeaassseeee?
I'd know it was a tease before a More! Now!Out! My! Fetch! Buy!
And when she finally falls asleep We will pray and say Amen!
'Til tomorrow when it all begins Again! (Again!)
TL;DR: Brat!Izuku with Dad for all to the song When Veruca says from the Charlie and the chocolate factory : The Musical.

a different anon here... 119 for afohiko? 😳👉🏻👈🏻
… That’s four afohiko prompts for three nanahiko prompts. Congratulations to the anons for combining forces to outnumber @thisauthorisscreaming’s, gyahaha. I got a little off-track, though. It’s more of a plotty AU bit than lemon. ; m;
119. "Greedy doesn't begin to describe me." | afohiko, in an AU where the fae (yousei/yōsei) exist just a step to the left of the canon world. Sorahiko is the Lord of the Yamanashi Yousei; AFO, finding his brother dead and the 'culprits' gone, nearly tears his network apart trying to find a solution. He also ends up usurping and marrying Sorahiko. \o/ | wc: ~780
//
“What more do you want?” Torino demands, acidly. The Lord of the Yamanashi Yousei kneels before Hisashi, having been dethroned and tricked out of his castle, but he still possesses dignity and that grounded, sober personality that marked him so differently from the other yousei Hisashi sought to revive his brother. It itches at Hisashi to see Torino without the trappings of his earlier finery.
Hisashi observes Torino’s growing ire without comment. The world is not yet in the palm of his hand; he had to pause the cultivation of his network after losing Yoichi, and knowing now that there is a third dimension to master - Hisashi finds himself in need of a guide.
“You have my home,” seethes the silver-haired yousei. “You have command of my lands. What else?”
“Hm,” he hums. “Where would Torino-kun go in his exile?” Torino bares his teeth in a fierce scowl, but the daggers of his glare are hardly anything to Hisashi, who moves on without giving Torino space to answer. “I saw no one else who bore your favor, Torino-kun. It makes me think that you have neither ally nor lover.”
Torino twitches. His snarl falters. “... Speak clearly.”
“You are my benefactor,” Hisashi says, modest. “I have been your only human supplicant in recent history. And now our roles are reversed.”
“I haven’t asked anything of you.”
He needs to tread carefully here. Torino is, as Hisashi’s discovered, flighty in the face of seduction. It’s how Hisashi tricked him into surrendering his seat, after Yoichi had gasped back to life and, so dazed, didn’t denounce his older brother to the (flatteringly) smitten yousei Lord.
Slow and deliberate, Hisashi rises from the throne. They are the only two individuals occupying the ground floor of the central residence; Yoichi is recovering in an upper level, guarded by one of Hisashi’s loyalists.
It’s much nicer than a vault. Yoichi had better appreciate it.
Torino narrows his pale brown eyes at the approach, but he doesn’t flinch away. He doesn’t even rear back as Hisashi steps in front of him, though his head tilts up to maintain eye contact. Hisashi provides a helping hand, holding Torino by the chin with his thumb and pointer finger.
“Would you tell me your name?”
Torino’s eyes widen at the brazen request.
“Would you consent to remain here?” he presses. “We are something akin to equals, you and I, but the roles we play do not instill us with the knowledge necessary to perform. Educate me on the Yousei Court, and I will gladly reciprocate.”
“... How?” the yousei asks, almost soundlessly.
“Marry me.”
A startled bark of laughter escapes Torino. “If you believe marriage is of equal value to lessons on how to navigate your new domain, then I shudder to think how you’ll treat my - your subjects. For all your pretty words, Shigaraki-dono, you cannot reconcile your culture with mine.”
“I’m capable of adapting,” says All for One. “Say yes, Torino-kun.”
“A human doesn’t outlive a yousei.”
“They tend not to survive outmaneuvering them, either. But look at us! Look at me.” Torino complies. Hisashi restrains himself from smiling too widely, but chances a light brush of his thumb against Torino’s mouth, finding delight in how it gives way at the slight pressure.
“You,” says Torino, then hesitates.
“No tricks, no contracts. No dealing on the side. I want you beside me, because together, my dear, we could take the world by storm.”
“The world,” he echoes. Torino lapses into silence for a few seconds; Hisashi whiles away the time by memorizing the feel of the yousei’s skin against his hand. He smooths his palm against Torino’s clean-shaven cheek, sliding it up from where it had cradled the square jaw. Torino shudders back into awareness and says, almost stunned, “It was just supposed to be about your brother.”
Hisashi’s eyebrows lift.
“First you wanted your brother back. Then you wanted my seat in the Yousei Court. Now you want me,” says Torino, “as some kind of bonus before taking on the world. Have you always been this greedy?”
“Greedy doesn’t begin to describe me,” Hisashi promises. He drops to a kneel in one smooth motion, and Torino watches with a conflicted expression. “Will you have me ask you again? Or shall I prove my desire for you?”
A sharp inhale. The slow creep of a blush. Torino tries to hold eye contact, but his gaze flickers to the side and back, again and again.
“Marry me, Torino-kun,” he says, and leans in, slow and deliberate, telegraphing his intention to kiss and feeling gratified at how Torino stutters, stiffens at the first slide of Hisashi’s mouth to his, and finally, finally groans, “Yes.”

my theory for dad for one is he saw inko threaten to tear someone's nuts off with her quirk and was smitten
My headcanon has always been like AfO has an absolutely terrifying aura about him so people like generally aren’t even able to look at him head on and then one day this short green haired woman bumped into him, spilled tea all over his suit, cried about it, and then somehow browbeat him into letting her buy him dinner and pay for the dry cleaning as an apology all while staring directly up at him without even flinching in fear.  Man didn’t stand a chance.

It’s something I’ve been wondering about but, most of the league who worked closely with Shiggy seem pretty iffy about AFO taking over his body like: I live here now. ( Spinner vocalizing this )
So I wonder when ( and if hopefully we do ) we see Re-Destro again, I think he would be rather offended at this latest change tbh. This is the young man who showed him true freedom, and now he’s tangled in his own strings? I don’t think he’d appreciate that at all.
( Any thoughts you could spare? Thank you for your work btw I love it. )
Oh, yeah, absolutely. I talk about this one with @leftofrevolution a lot, that while Re-Destro might sometimes find Shigaraki’s on-the-fly plans to be a bit frustrating (though he’s clearly capable of fairly fine-grained planning, as we see with the training camp attack), and thus might nominally appreciate All For One’s more structured approach, in practice, quite the opposite would be true. All For One, after all, is all about control, power for himself, subordination of all others. The only way to get more diametrically opposed to the ideals of Liberation would be to take positions like Overhaul’s and that group in the third movie, Humarize, wanting to annihilate quirks entirely.
I can’t imagine Rikiya would at all appreciate the whole possession thing. I mean, they’re one of my major BNHA ships and all, but even absent romantic feelings, it’s clear in the canon that RD is smitten with Shigaraki. Of course he’d hate seeing his savior and liberator, the youth who freed him after a lifetime of crushing burden, now laboring under a burden like this. And at least RD thinks his burden was noble! All For One doesn’t even have that going for him! (Indeed, not only is AFO ignoble, more to the point, he’s kind of insufferable.)
Rikiya’s values are all about being true to oneself, living freely, being unconstrained by laws that oppress one’s true self--and fighting, even dying, to ensure that others can enjoy that freedom as well. While he’s practical enough to understand the necessity of power when you’re fighting a war, power for its own sake was never the point. With that in mind, I think if RD could catch Shigaraki in a moment where Shigs was in control, he might suggest giving the quirk All For One away. Just transfer that shit into an insect, smash the bug (if the bug doesn’t instantly explode from power overload), and let Shigaraki’s loyal followers support him the way they will all happily do.
As I’ve also discussed with leftof, I expect Shigaraki’s too stubborn to go for it--if he even could; one imagines the quirk would fight him over it the same way One For All resists being stolen--but that wouldn’t stop Rikiya from proposing it. I like to think he’d do his best to advance Shigaraki’s goals as best he understands them--consulting with Spinner as needed, because this OTP is really an OT3--while striving to keep the faith (both his own and Spinner’s) that the young man the two of them saw shining so brightly in that crater could never be kept down by this evil shade forever. He’s freedom incarnate, after all, so it falls to his followers to do what they can to support him until he’s able to prove it.
My shipping goggles aside, I’m also inclined to think that AFO would have his own thoughts about Re-Destro, probably expressed in the form of assorted whispered heresies about Destro Classic that neither Re-Destro, the proud blood of Destro, nor Rikiya, the man who spent decades trying to fill those shoes, is in any way prepared to endure hearing. I have my own headcanon on the matter (AFO stealing Destro’s quirk once he was in prison, the despair of the loss being what pushed Chikara to suicide), but even the headcanon aside, it seems unlikely that All For One, villain extraordinaire, would have had no opinion at all one of Japan’s other infamous villains, the man who raised an army to fight against the government/heroes because of his beliefs on quirks. So, you know, even if Shigaraki weren’t in the picture at all, I think RD would find All For One profoundly uncomfortable.
Thanks for the ask! This is pretty much verbatim what I wanted out of canon, and while it’s not looking like I’m going to get it, I still enjoy talking about it. ‘S good practice for the fanfic, anyway.

The trio holders adopt a child (for the 5 headcanon ask game)
Since you didn't specify the child, I'm going to borrow Hanaka, Yoichi's daughter from my fic A Road Not Traveled.
1. During the trio's days as a vigilante, they rescued a baby girl from the streets. The orphanage kicked her out because of her red eyes. Yoichi named her Hanaka after an early vigilante he admired.
2. You would think looking at him that Second would be the strict parent. You would be completely wrong. Second is the most doting sucker of a parent in existence. Absolutely everything Hanaka does is precious in his eyes. If he had his way, she would be spoiled rotten. Yoichi is also very permissive because he's trying a bit too hard not to be his controlling older brother. Third has to step up to establish discipline.
3. It takes a few years before AFO finds out that he has a niece, then he demands to meet her. (Literally, there was a mass murder threat at all.) AFO usually has a very limited definition of family and didn't think this random brat would be good enough for him. But as soon as he lays eyes on Hanaka, he's smitten. Adopting her was the best decision ever. If AFO had seen her first then he would have snatched her up faster. (Seriously, better not let him babysit without supervision.)
4. Hanaka is a huge fan of villains, just like her uncle. The Joker is her favorite cartoon character. She likes to build Lego empires and proclaim herself supreme dictator. She's a ruthless manipulative little terror who's very protective of her friends and family and a little too good at getting away with mischief. Second can't imagine her doing any wrong. Even Third has a blindspot. To his horror, Yoichi ends up needing his brother's advice on how to handle her.
5. Hanaka's quirk is a form of Erasure that she can use wide-scale. She pretends to be quirkless for quite some time to use it subtly. It's a true act of love that AFO never stole such a wonderful quirk. (Cough he tried but couldn't wrench it from her stubborn fingers.)
6. On the good news, AFO actually tones down his villainy because he really doesn't want to be cut out of his niece's life. As she grows older, he comes to realize that she sees family a lot like him. And to her, Second and Third are family. AFO can't kill them because he knows that would cross his niece's bottom line, and in his own strange way he respects her ownership of her family. It would be rude to vault Yoichi too, when Hanaka has just as close a claim. In this fashion, the world is saved from disaster. At least until Hanaka is old enough to make her own bid for world domination.
(All of ask game AUs are free to use in my Three Weeks of Trioholders event.)

in the midst of a battle w/ members of LoV, pro-hero ground zero save a rookie journalist who LITERALLY threw himself middle of all the chaos to grab photos & after yelling at the ignorant fuck, katsuki doesn't think he'll see him again but then HE SEES HIM EVERYWHERE. his name is midoriya izuku & he has some sort of death wish really bc katsuki keep finding him in the middle of all these hero vs villains battles and ONE TIME he tackled down a villain right???? and he doesnt even have a fucking quirk & yet he is seemingly unafraid of everything.
needless to say, katsuki is v smitten bc the litle awkward death defying shit. also, anyone who accidentally send katsuki to the hospital several times a month bc he keep getting into trouble and katsuki have to come rescue him and THEN YELLING AT KATSUKI FOR INTERFEARING W/ HIS JOB – may be katsuki’s true love.
katsuki get so fucking rile up at this quirkless man, who shown no fear and easily go toe to toe w/ him and yet is so incredibly humble and hilariously awkward, he is just into this badass idiot who is entirely devoted to his job and cursed w/ severe stubborn???? feels relatable. so yea, katsuki ofc taps that ass right the fuck away bc he knows a good one when he sees it bc izuku is indirectly responsible for three broken ribs after katsuki had pulled him out of ANOTHER TROUBLING SITUATION. he's a trouble magnet and shit-stirrer and katsuki's heart is moved.
so they start dating and it goes SO WELL. izuku still get in major shitstorm for his job and katsuki still drags him out of it w/ a few bruise here and there, but afterward they go grab a bite and crash at each other place. super romantic and sweet and it's so v good. but!!! there's something weird about izuku. he doesn't talk much about his family, to katsuki anyway. BUT HE'S SUPER CLOSE TO THEM. his parents seem to call him daily and he go visit them often, but he never bring his parents up to katsuki esp his dad & izuku kinda got a stalker??
it's not like katsuki didn't notice right away, but HE THOUGHT IT WAS HIS STALKER. one of his super creepy fans probably but nope this person only tails izuku and when katsuki tell him about it, izuku is like, 'oh that's just toga'. apparently, izuku knows his talker v v well. the stalker apparently is sent by izuku's father to watch out & protect izuku and katsuki pauses bc who the fuck does a journalist who lives on takeouts and shitty cable TVs need a bodyguard?!!! so yea katsuki's new bf background is fucking weird and mysterious.
katsuki has his agency dig into izuku's background (not that they hadn't vet izuku's before for katsuki's safety) but they comb through the archives and izuku's history and it's comes out v v v v clean, sparkling even. honestly, katsuki doesn't know WTF IS UP W/ HIS NEW BF. so he confront izuku about his weirdo stalker/bodyguard, his avoidance about his family & his dad in particular, and his eerie squeaky AND CLEARLY SCRIPTED papertrails. izuku get shifty eyes and is like, "you won't believe me." And katsuki says tersely, "fucking try me."
Izuku drops his gaze to the floor and says, finally, "my dad is the leader of the league of villains." and YEA, KATSUKI'S BRAIN SHUT DOWN FOR SEC bc his deku?? stupid suicidal stubborn bleeding heart deku??? FUCK NO. but izuku just nods his head and grimaces. the LoV is the largest criminal org in the world w/ long list of crimes & longer list of criminals that make its their home. their roster are made up of terrifying people w/ dangerous quirks... and IZUKU, quirkless and softhearted izuku is the leader's most precious son. the idea itself is COMPLETELY ABSURD! HOW does that ever make sense? izuku is a civilian who works normal if a bit dangerous job & doesn't seem to have any *evil* inclinations at all yet he hail from the worst kind of genetic source possible. maybe he's just faking it all along.
which made katsuki absolutely furious that izuku might been some kind of sleeper agent from the LoV sent to trick spy & kill him or something and izuku's eyes wide, immediately protests, "no, no, i swear! i dont have anything to do w/ my fathers... org." but katsuki has a hard time accepting it esp with the truth bomb thrown at his feet now that he realizes HE'S DATING THE ONLY SON OF EVIL OF THE MOST VILE CRIMINAL IN THE WORLD. so yea, he walks out on izuku, saying he need some space & izuku was looking so heartbroken as he left
for the next few days, katsuki stews in his thought. he doesn't tell anyone about what he had found out, but he doesn't contact izuku either. This last for couple of weeks until, one day just as he in the middle of patrol there's some commotion that attract his teams and katsuki is separated from them. he's cornered by several LoV members, outnumbered five to one and katsuki lost his comms in the ensuring scuffles but instead of kicking his ass bc well they're foes, one of them break ranks toga (the blood queen) approach him w/ a bloodthirsty grin & a knife pointing toward him.
"hey, pretty boy," she coos w/ a flicker of edge, "stop ignoring our young master! you made him cried & he won't come out of his room. I hate seeing him so upset bc Izuku-chan should always be smiling! if you dont fix this ill rip your hide from your bones and wear it as a cape."
the group behind her make various grunt of agreement, all promising him death and disembowelment for... apparently breaking izuku's heart. katsuki is so outrage that he nearly explodes on the spot bc these dumbass villains think they CAN BLACKMAL/THREATEN HIM?! HIM, GROUND ZERO?! also, even more furious by the fact that they insuate that HE BROKE UP WITH IZUKU?! wtf, he never said that!! needing space meant just a temporary break s he gets his bearing on wut to do next... but not like a perma break, but izuku's ppl thought their relationship ended.
katsuki is even more offended by that notion bc izuku is even a bigger idiot than he thought. HOW could someone that much of crybaby over just temp break is some manipulative coldhearted spy?? right now his instinct says, izuku is telling the truth. he isn't tricking katsuki.
izuku is seemingly sweet, humble, & awkward but he got that rebellious streak a mile wide. loud in his opinions & shit-stirrer by choice, he faces down villains & heroes alike like they're on equal ground even though izuku is defenseless. he respect the law but only when it applies. katsuki has never seen such a fucking firecracker like izuku who loves people & the world but have little respect for any gov entity or laws and think they're good only when they're helping ppl but otherwise they're abritary (lmao). he such chaotic force for good it's hilarious. so yea, he believes that izuku is the SON OF AFO now bc that lil shit is a menace. A GOOD MENACE, but still a goddamn menace. he seems to stay firmly on the side of 'good' as it is which make his relationship with his villain father a fucking mystery & headache for katsuki.
so katsuki, gritting his teeth, clichely demands the LoV group to take him to their leader so he can verbally kick his bf's ass for keeping his fucked up secrets and stupidly mistaken that they're broken up. the group happily ties up him and blindfolds him bc well SECRET LAIR. katsuki is crazy, ok. like, STUPIDLY CRAZY to go blindly and no backups w/ some of the worst villains in history so he can meet up w/ his stupid bf and his crazy father. he could end up dead tmr or some shit bc it all could have been a trick to lure him in w/ his guard down but if izuku can be an idiot for dating a hero when he's a son of a villain than KATSUKI CAN BE A BIGGER IDIOT FOR GOING TO MEET HIS BF'S VILLANIOUS FATHER AT HIS SECRET TORTURE FORTRESS OR SOME SHIT. love can make ppl dumb and they're both a perfect example of it.
so katsuki get blindfolded and escorted to the LoV hq and it's a suprisingly sweet ride to there. no bumps, no abuse, no torture shit going on. he get offer food and drink and it's FUCKING WEIRD. his kidnappers start some casual convo w/ him about izuku and his job of all things. they even joke about how katsuki arrested one of them one time and almost kill another THE OTHER TIME & it's all happy bs??? it's even worst than torture. katsuki just want this to end already!! eventually they arrive and katsuki is let out. he get inside & his blindfold is off.
it's... nothing like he expected. it's traditional japanese house w/ sprawling garden, koi ponds, & beautiful woods. it's pristine, homey, and terribly normal. "ha, you thought we were going to take you to some kind of evil lair, right?" twice says, grinning bc he's an ass. "that's next time! we save that for official bsn." he jabs Katsuki's in the shoulder playfully. "you're meeting sensei and the mistress so of course it got to be at their house and not the 'office'."
katsuki's hands start twitching like he's going to explode someone or something but he's quickly drag away before he could do anything about it. lead through some hallways before depositing inside a tearoom where there's a SHIT TON of pics of baby!izuku & his childhood accolades on the wall. this look less like a room to greet visitors but to show off izuku. just as katsuki goes to examine a cute pic of bb!izuku playing in a field of flowers & holding one up towrad the camera, the doors slide open and a couple walk in. one of them is an older woman who looks eerily like izuku and the young woman also ft. in many of the wall pics.
she smiles warmly at and goes to greet him right away. "hi, bakugou-kun! welcome to our home, i'm inko, Izuku's mother," she introduces herself. while she's a source of happy energy and warmth, the other man beside her is another story. he gives katsuki's an icy stare. katsuki already knows who he is before he even say anything. AFO looks younger in comparison to his reported age, notably handsome, and he carries himself like some warlord from the warring periods.
"I should kill you," is the first thing he says. "my son should only cry in joy, over his terrible taste in romantic media consumption, & dumber things." spoken like a man who dealt with midoriya walking crying machine izuku his entire life and also a hopelessly devoted father.
"hisashi!" inko scolds. which is strange to katsuki bc he didn't even think AFO even have a name but in front of him isn't some evil man who mastermind gov't take over & ruin so many ppl lives but astupid father overprotected of his son.
"but i won't," AFO admits regretfully. "Izuku would be even more sad and if you're dead your death will haunt him needlessly more. he won't be able to forget you and move on." he frowns, like he actually had CONSIDER THAT ROUTE DEEPLY before casting that idea aside.
What the fuck, katsuki thought and says exactly that, "what the fuck. there's something seriously wrong with you," he points out what he think is v obvious.
AFO shrugs. "I love my son. He's my-" Inko's frown and he clears his throat, "our most precious treasure and we do everything to ensure his happiness. do you understand us, bakugou katsuki? inko and i have raise with love and care for 20yrs and i won't have some rough neck capers try to destroy his smile. i dont care who you are or wut you can do bc i can put you ten feet under w/ a snap of my fingers & nobody will be able to save you but like i said i won't."
Katsuki grind his teeth, fists clenched at his side, before lowering his head. this isnt time to fight, they're not on the field & on the job. this isnt about their respective stance on moral superiority but izuku. izuku is why they're both here. "i came here for him. i want to fix it," he says. "just let me see him." he pauses & grimaces like the taste of whatever he say next disgust him. "please."
AFO frowns, staring at katsuki for a beat, two. like he can pull apart katsuki's motives and tears into his rib to see w/e make him tick. "fine," he waves katsuki away, "you may see him now but if he cry anything beside in happiness i'll have your head and your entire agency." it's not a threat. it's a warning lace with truth that katsuki has no doubt he will carry out if a single tear slip pass izuku and fall.
inko claps her hand happily. "great, i'm glad you guys are geting along so well!" she says, like threats of murder haven't been thrown at his feet. clearly, she's used to the fact that her husband is a completely psychopath and whipped for their son. this fucking crazy family.
katsuki grunts, not knowing what else to say beside, 'have you ever thought of fucking divorce bc yea maybe you will be less crazy by then' but he holds his tongue bc they're still izuku's parents and he already made a bad impression on them even though technically not his FAULT.
AFO doesn't promise anymore murder in his future but the dark look on his face is enough as inko's lead him out & toward izuku's room. she drops him right outside it and gives him an encouraging smile before heading off, but katsuki has no doubt the parents are lurking around. katsuki sucks in a deep breath before raising his fist and knocks. he hears unhurried footsteps on the other side and slowly the door is slide open.
"Papa, I already said--" izuku whines, and stops as soon as he sees who ACTUALLY on the other side. "K-Katsuki?! What are you--?"
Katsuki blinks, trying to get his fucking brain to grapple with the thought of AFO as 'papa' and his head nearly explode. he drags a hand down his face and once again thinks, THIS FUCKIN' FAMILY. "Look, you idiot," he starts in lieu of any answer. "We didn't fucking break up."
Izuku looks haggard, buffy red eyes and the dark circle under it, speaking of how upset he was. he clearly didn't get any good rest these several days they were apart. he lifts an accusatory brow at Katsuki. "you didn't pick up my calls or answer any of my text," he retorts.
Katsuki rolls his eyes. "what part of I needed space, time to think didn't you get?" he snaps back. "It didn't mean go cry and sulk your parent's home like a damn coward because you were too dumb to think of anything beside we may have broken up!"
"But--but," Izuku's lips wobble and katsuki nearly jump out of his skin bc jfc don't cry here or i'll be skinned alive, "i was scared that you really mean it! that's why i didn't want to tell you in the first place bc then you wouldn't want to have anything to do w/ me."
Katsuki sighs, a bone deep tired sigh. "Now, why would you think i would have any problem with dating the son of my nemesis?" he says dryly. Izuku's brows furrow. "All Might is Papa's nemesis," he unhelpfully point out. "I don't think Papa even knew you existed until we dated."
Katsuki scowls. "that's not the fucking point," he shouts, temper rising w/ every word. "Your dad is the fucking boogieman who wants to sow discord in the world & it's my job to catch him &lock away for good. Do you see my moral crisis over this when im dating his beloved son?!"
"I-" Izuku's face falls, "dont you think I dont know that? I've lived with him for over 20yrs, I know exactly what he's capable of." he looks away. "But, he's my Papa & im terrible for still choosing him over the world. So," izuku says solemnly. "i dont expect the same from you."
Katsuki grits his teeth and steps right into izuku's space, up in his face. "Look, im only going to say this once so listen the fuck up," he starts. "I like you. A lot. Stupidly. Gods know why when you drive me up the fucking wall all the time, but here I am standing before you."
"A lot, huh?" Lips twitching, Izuku's eyes go soft.
Katsuki scowls. "Dont make me repeat myself, but yes fucking a lot that your fucking groupies & your old man threatened to kill me several times over did not deter me from coming here," he says, hand cradling Izuku's cheek.
"It's because I'm dating you and not your father. Whatever crimes he'd commited is not on you, you don't have to carry his sins," he tells Izuku, leaning in to press a kiss too fast and fleeting on izuku's forehead. "just stay true to yourself and i'll fucking deal with it."
Izuku's close his eyes and lets out a shaky exhales, the air of relief that passes through him is shuddering. "Ok, ok," he murmurs, opening his eyes to look at katsuki. there's a twinkle in them as he smiles, soft and sweet, the kind you can stupidly drunk on & never let go.
In that hazy moment, katsuki thinks, AFO doesn't need to plan any premeditated murder in case things go v wrong bc this is how he'll die w/ izuku's smile right in his front his eyes, cutting him down one curve lips at a time. Fuck, he's just as whipped for izuku as AFO.
it's good that izuku not a fucking psychopath like his father bc this would have gone v v v wrong. izuku would make a terrifying villain. Worse than his own father bc it's not fear & intimidation that will get ppl to follow him but izuku's own magnetic personality that move them.
"don't ever become a villain, ok?" katsuki insists suddenly, grabbing his shoulder tightly.
"where did that come from?" izuku laughs, eyes crinkling. "And dont worry, papa had tried. many, many times but i haven't turn over to the darks ide if that's what you worry about."
"Good," katsuki says firmly, and thinks the world better for it. one less crazy midoriya to raise hell. izuku is trouble enough as it is when katsuki thought he was just a quirkless journalist w/ a death wish but now there's a chance he could go rouge any moment and--yea. no.
"Sooo," izuku says, bouncing on his heels. "are we back together now?"
katsuki flicks him on the forehead. "we never broke up in the first place, you dolt."
izuku grins and suddenly throws his arm around katsuki. "ah, i miss you so much kacchan!!!" he declares excitedly.
and after they made up, katsuki interrogate izuku about wtf is wrong w/ his father bc how did AFO of all ppl get a villain son who isn't all about /that/ kind of bsn he's in. turns out izuku always have a healthy regard for heroes so he never thought of joining his father's organization. though AFO would have been super happy to take izuku in bc izuku is terrifyingly clever & resourceful but he lets izuku go & do his thing anyway. they just mutually agree not to talk shop when it's family, keeping their jobs outside &not in the home to keep both of their sanity.
so izuku knows shit about the 'family bsn' except wut everyone knows bc he's not involve with any of that and in his everyday job as a journalist izuku often times clash w/ his father AND expose some of his schemes bc it's part of his job & he doesn't shy away from it. AFO wasn't upset at all having his plans ruin by his own son. nope. he was SUPER PROUD OF IZUKU!!! to able to accomplish such thing on his own even if it's against him lol. but izuku is still his father's so so he doesn't take on just AFO, other villains, & dark org. he takes on the gov't, hero association, and even other heroes themselves if he ever catches on if they didn't live up to his ideals of being 'proper hero' like all might. he fiercely chases and exposes anything that he deems corrupted and wrong not caring which side they're on.
which makes izuku kind of chaotic good. he acts on his own whims & sense of justice, disregarding all rules & barriers. which is why he admires katsuki so much bc katsuki stands by his rule staunchantly & won't ever move from it, izuku knows katsuki wont ever be sway by the dark. kinda like izuku's father who stands firmly by his belief & does everything to reach his goals. WHICH IS NOT EXACTLY WHAT KATSUKI WANT TO BE COMPARE TO ESP BY A NOTORIOUS VILLAIN LIKE AFO lol. but yea, now that he got izuku's motive and why he's the way he is, it get easier.
they continue dating, izuku continues getting into trouble 120% of the time, katsuki keeps bailing him out, and sometimes IZUKU BAILS HIM OUT bc izuku may be quirkless but he got an army of the world's most terrible villains on his side so yea izuku IS TERRIFYING. and they aren't just dating but they're 100000% serious w/ each other bc now katsuki go to izuku's parents house for dinner every sunday and have to put up with AFO and play nice w/ each other for izuku's sake bc they come ton an understanding they will be IN-LAWS one day lol! their dinner convo is mostly the two of them taking jab at each other bc katsuki trash of AFO's plans or AFO's sends katsuki's ppl to the hospital and got away with it. they never stop being enemy even for izuku bc of where they stand on but mutually agree not to kill each other. they're both fiercely devoted individual who are obsessively workaholic, stubborn, vainglorious, and loves just as much as they breathe for their ppl and though they never agree on anything, this they will agree on bc izuku's happiness is everything to them!!!

Ok this is a crack theory but like I at least want some one shots to come from this.
I'm a big fan of the AFO is Hisashi Midoriya theory okay. I'm also a fan of Gigantomachia calling Izuku Little Lord. But like...what if Inko is in Jaku? What if that is her little bicycle and Gigantomachia sees her and just pulls up short. Like "Lord Lady!!!!" And he's just smitten and that's how we get the fucking AFO is DFO proof??
Like obviously that is not going to happen but like...my dudes. Give me a soft and funny fic in these trying times.

Do you think Mitsuki ever ruined one of Inko's dates with someone who'd be terrible for her by switching Inko's coffee to decaf? (She of course was fully prepared to use the tips she'd gleaned from one of her friends Inko didn't approve of if she needed to hide the body) (Inko eventually began to suspect Mitsuki and took steps to prevent her from doing that again by the time AFO began dating her)
Mitsuki didn't like Hisashi's vibes so she switched Inko's coffee with decaff. Unfortunately, it backfired on her as he came to the dates with two coffees, one of which was exactly like Inko liked it. Because of this, she was immediately smitten.

DfO is hilarious, and so is fake DfO but everyone thinks it's real. But stepfather DfO? Izuku calling up his dad to inform him mom's new boyfriend is evil. Hisashi worriedly asks if he's treating Izuku poorly and Izuku clarifies no, he's perfectly civil, even bought him the lastest All Might figurine, but he is for sure a supervillain.
Lolololol
Hisashi knows he's been even more distant lately, easy to do even when you mean to keep in touch, but he certainly doesn't want anyone to hurt his ex or son!
"Wait so is he hurting you? Inko? Doesn't even have to be physical, I want to know-"
"No, no, he hasn't tried anything against us. I just know before he came by to take Mom to a movie he was either doing human experimentation and monologuing to my nemesis who keeps attacking my school."
Of course, izuku would probably be afraid that AfO did it to get close enough to hurt or take OfA, or does have an evil trick under seeming to be suitable smitten with Inko, but knows that if he went to Toshi about it the man would freak out even more than him, better ask Hisashi first
