Okay so this could just be me not getting something and having A Dumb Take, but I feel like the only unrealistic part of the Hawkins storyline in s4 (besides. y'know. vecna.) was that every single victim of Vecna's curse who decided to go to the school counselor actually got a somewhat passable level of help for their mental state. Like bro, the last time I tried to go to a counselor for help at a public school, I literally got turned away because I "wasn't struggling enough and I already had a good support system" (despite having like twenty layers of depression at the time but that's a whole other issue). Idk I get that it's a framing device but I feel like the mental health system wouldn't be that great, especially not in a public school with thousands of students and especially especially not in the 80s, when stigma around mental health was even more commonplace. I don't know, it's just A Thing I Noticed.
Personally I think that Azula should have been redeemed simply so that she can become Zuko's horrible little advisor who whispers evil little plans to him so that he can do the exact opposite
the thing about trying to recommend fiction podcasts to someone who isn't familiar with them is that not only are so so many genres represented but also the level of production can fall anywhere from "basically an audiobook" to "major motion picture minus the pictures"
