#been talking about experiencing joy with my therapist and how it's difficult to enjoy joy#cause ur guilted for finding joy in something in a way that doesn't tangibly show worship/praise#I liked dance and wanted to do gymnastics but I couldn't and was told to join the praise dance team#college was dangerous for challenging your faith#fun hair colors were worldly#etc etc#so me and my therapist are trying to slowly introduce joy and rest into my life like an infant eating solids#my dad was less strict about doing things for church but it still had to be Productive™️#so yea I'm learning how to have fun and rest v fun things to learn at my ripe old age of 21#ex christian#religious trauma
