Activision really expected us to look at these two, beautiful characters, one embodying the moon in attitude, past, and likeness with pale skin and pale hair and eyes as dark as the night on the cusp of sunrise and scars like craters, and the other as bright and young as the sun with more energy and power than one can harness without reflection, and not ship them.

What is a moon without its sun? Simon knew, for a long time, shadowed in darkness and only lit by the distant speck of sister stars, but then came Johnny. And for once in what felt like a lifetime, he shone as bright as the sun in front of him, just like he did with his family.

So anyway, I may be writing a Ghoap God!AU with Ghost as Manì (Norse God of the Moon) and Soap as Lugos (Celtic God of the Sun) with a load of other mythologies and gods…

So here some GhostSoap Boxer/Writer mixed AU dump/idea for all you since I can't contain my hyperfixation/brainrot along with doing a poll for an Name for this AU later

Ghost and König being rival boxer with Price being Ghost's personal coach/trainer along with Gaz and other person(s) who I haven't figured out yet be König's (probably one of the villains like shepherd or something haven't plan it out tho)

Roach being Ghost/Simon's supportive friend from childhood who's a writer but Non-verbal who's writings have an effect on people

Soap/Johnny will either be the new/rookie boxer or writer in the group who's get head over heels on Ghost by accidently walking in on him in locker room/dress area

Alejandro and Rodolfo aka Rudy are the Spanish language commentator and whistleblowers

Ghost used to attend and participate in illegal underground fights as a young teen as a coping outlet from his abusive household before doing legal professionals boxing

Gaz is the co-coach for Ghost who handles the equipment and training routine for Ghost to try out along with having medical knowledge

Roach is Simon/Ghost's emotional support person when he becomes emotionally unstable when things get out of hand

Price is an father figure towards Simon/Ghost and treat him like his own son and they go out to celebrate with the team when they lose and win a match giving Simon/Ghost a chance to be himself without any doubts/problems

Valeria is the owner and the main antagonist in this AU (basically she's a business villain tycoon)

Soap and Gaz have this brotherly friendship relationship along with telling him his interest in Ghost and vice versa with Ghost with Roach (Basically both Roach and Gaz known that Soap and Ghost love each other but the lovebird don't know that)

Snippet Sunday

Have a snippet of my potential Mass Effect x Call of Duty crossover. This is still very, very much in planning stages (shoutout to both @shotce and @starlightvld at this point for listening to my ramblings) even if I have like, 1.4k words written already. I'm still conflicted if this is the timeline I want to go with, so the whole thing might end up getting scrapped again.

We'll see.

That evening they found themselves at a local pub for some so-called team-bonding. It turned out Shepard had worked with Laswell before, which wasn’t all that surprising, really. She also held no love for General Shepherd which explained why Laswell suggested they work together.  “Did he burn ye, too?” Johnny asked, never one to be afraid to ask direct questions. He kept his voice low, just loud enough for her to understand him. Shepard sneered at her ale. “Every shitshow I was ever in was somehow connected to Shepherd. Hackett wasn’t surprised when Kate reached out to him because of the latest incident.” There was a bitter twist to her mouth when she continued. “I knew some of the people with Shadow Company when the thing in Urzikstan went south. Former teammates. Some good people. Some less.” She turned the pint idly in her hands, wiping away some of the condensation with her thumb. “It stank to high heaven when they suddenly disappeared but Shepherd kept stonewalling any inquiries. Now we know why.”
