(TS is a billionaire with two private jets)

has supported the queer community for decades even through some of its darkest times like the AIDS crisis

(TS uses the queer community like a prop)

started a scientific organization to help cure viruses like AIDS and that even helped develop the Covid vaccine

(TS made the last superbowl all about her becauses she was dating one of the players)

has run a charity since 1995 that sends millions of books to children in poverty, particularly the rural south where she grew up

(TS has done nothing for the south and its problems despite her southern belle persona)

Welp Senate officially passed the bill to ban TikTok.

I know a lot of people on this app hate TikTok, and believe me I get where that is coming from, but this is a huge violation of the first amendment and has horrifying implications for free speech.

It’s also very telling that they’re doing this right now. TikTok is one of the biggest ways that people in Palestine have to show the rest of the world what is happening. The government wants to take away this access and information.

It’s also one of the fastest ways people all around the world spread information. This is what a modern day book burning looks like.

It's honesty sad how you all got surprised finding out the demon of lust advocates for consent. Reminds me of a telenovela where the protagonist was the stereotypical "ugly but smart" girl and her dad was constantly over protecting from men and the "joke" was basically "ohh get it? WTAF. I spoke about this a few times before. People in many parts of West Asia/many Arab people have been wearing keffiyehs for CENTURIES. They represent many things, and yes -they do symbolize Palestinian resistance and solidarity -and if you have an issue with anyone wearing a keffiyeh in any space you're a genocidal apologist.

This is BEYOND ignorant and IS discrimination. I hope we see a class-action lawsuit that sues the provincial government for doing this/normalizing this because it's ILLEGAL. These politicians (especially the PC's -who were shouting no to overturn it and one of them saying they felt UNSAFE... the audacity) are just racist bigots.
