PART 1
“Miss Jia, where are you going. It’s raining heavily outside?” The short lady shouted as she saw Jia run through the gates of the mansion.
The cold rain hit the glass pane of the windows making a pleasant sound and the worried woman looked at the fading figure of the girl that just ran out of the gate.
Jia continued to run through the streets, her mind drifting only to one place and one person while the rain continued to pour down on her. Her sky-blue hoodie was stuck to her body as water dripped from the ends of her jeans.
Her feet come to a halt as her eyes meet with the guy in the park holding an umbrella to save himself from the same rain Jia was drenched into. Her feet moved towards him, and his eyes widened taking in the image of Jia.
He ran towards her as he held the umbrella on to her. Jia’s eyes were puffy and her hair disheveled. He saw her trying to put out some words, but her lips quivered.
“Jia.” The guy gasped. He took of his jacket and wrapped it around Jia’s shaking body.
“He is not with you.” He heard her mumble.
A sigh left his lips as his hand went to hold her arm to hold her in her trembling state.
“I-is he really gone?” Her voice came of shaky and hoarse as she looked him in the eye.
The guy looked at her with sadness in his eyes. Jia kept her eyes locked with him and asked again.
“Namjoon, it doesn’t make sense, he can’t leave like this. Tell me it’s not t-true.”
“But it is.” Namjoon said his voice deep and with that silence overtook them and the only sound that filled the place was of the rain hitting the ground.
Jia took a step back from him, her head hanging low as she looked at her now soaked sneakers. Namjoon took a step forward bringing her under the umbrella again.
Namjoon’s jaws tightened. “He won’t see you again.” He uttered the words that he was told to tell her.
She didn’t say anything and neither did he. The silence gave it all away.
*
“Jia, here.” the girl with brown hair waved at her.
Jia gave her a small wave as she walked to the bar where her friend, Millie, was sitting.
“You are late.” The girl turned her body towards Jia’s chair.
“I lost track of time while packing some of my stuff.” Jia answered her friend that was pouting by now.
Jia settled in her seat as the bartender approached them to take their order.
“Long Island iced tea, please.” Jia orders her drink.
The bartender looked at the other girl for her order.
“Same.”
Millie took her phone out as she typed something with a frown on her face. She locked her phone and slammed it down on the bar.
“What happened, are you two fighting?” Jia asks her to see the evident worry on her friend’s face.
“We had an argument about the moving dates. His company still wants him here for a month.”
“And that change some of your plans.” Jia states the obvious.
“Yeah, you know it’s already been so hard with moving back and the wedding.” Millie sighs.
“It will be alright. You two have always worked through thing.” Jia pats Millie’s back to comfort her.
“You are also going back tomorrow.” Millie gives her a subtle smile.
Jia gave her a small smile and was just going to say something when the bartender brought their drinks, placing them in front of them.
Millie took the glass and clanked it with Jia’s and took a few sips from the drink. Soon, after some time, their faces get covered in a flush making it evident that they are a bit tipsy.
“Are you excited about going back.” Millie had a slur in her voice.
Jia shifted in her seat taking another sip from her drink. The glasses that were neatly placed on the shelves seemed more interesting to her at that moment as she zoned out thinking about the answer to her friend’s question.
“About going back, when it first happened, I thought I would be excited.” Jia says still staring into the distance.
“Then, I was scared, I kept being reminded of the reason I moved here.”
“And now that I am going back, I don’t feel anything.” Jia answered her, as an empty feeling kept harboring in Jia’s heart.
Millie nods as she places her palms on her face to decrease the flush.
“I still remember the first day we met. I still can’t forget the shock on Sophia’s face when you pulled her hair because she was bullying me.”
Jia chuckled on the memory. “I don’t know where it came in me to do that. One second, I was having my lunch and the next thing I knew, I was pulling her by her hair in front of everyone in the cafeteria.”
A laugh left Millie her eyes turning into crescents. “She was so embarrassed after that, she never used to come in the cafeteria when we were there.”
Millie smiles. “It’s already been five years; time went by so fast.”
*
Jia looked out at the dark night sky and below it was the city that shined with its lights. Seoul.
‘Time went by so fast’ Millie’s voice resounded in her mind.
She kept starting out of the window. Did the time of the people who she was linked with also went by fast. Because for Jia even if she wanted to agree with the statement she couldn’t. All these years in states, what she felt was that her time has stopped.
Jia drags her suitcase behind her. Coming out of the airport, she goes to the taxi she was allotted and gets in. The sunny and warm weather made everything around cheerful as Jia kept staring out of the taxi window.
“We are here Miss.” The driver said. Getting out of the taxi, the driver pulled out her luggage from the trunk as Jia bowed to him as a thank you.
Her grip tightens on the handle as she looks at her apartment building. Orazio, the sign read.
Jia walks in and gets inside the elevator. She takes her phone out of her back pocket.
“I arrived safely.” She sends a text to Millie and puts her phone back in her pocket.
The elevator door opens. She walks out and stops in front of the door. Taking the key card, she presses it on the handle making the door click open. She enters the unit marked 1204.
The light at the entrance flickers alight. She walks inside and goes to the door on the left, her bedroom. She drops herself on the bed and stares at the ceiling, her body ached because of the long flight she had. Her eyes began to close with sleep,, and she pulls her legs up so she can sleep in a comfortable position.

“This month’s sales report showed a sixty-six percent increase in the bookings of our luxury resorts in Korea, that’s a ten percent increase than the preceding month.” The team manager, Ms. Yeon Joo said pointing at the graph on the screen.
The associates read through the folder kept in front of them.
“Regarding the hotels that are situated outside Korea, their bookings continue to be either constant or dropping.” The CEO, Park Jimin says.
“The marketing team is devising a similar and effective strategy for our chain of hotels that are situated outside the country.” Yoon Joo replied looking down at the file in her hands.
“They have been doing that from the past two weeks, it would be ineffective if we don’t implement the new marketing strategies by the end of this month.” Yoongi replies with an authoritative tone.
“We apologize for the delay; I can assure that the new marketing strategies will be final within a few days.” The manager said squirming under the gaze of her higher up.
“Two day, that’s all I can give to your team. Come up with a marketing plan that is profitable and flexible at the same time. You would be presenting it on Thursday’s meeting.” Jimin said getting up from his seat.
“That’s it for today’s meeting.” Yoongi said as he followed Jimin out of the meeting room.
Yoongi entered his cabin, his secretary following behind him, “What is the status of the meeting the CEO is going to hold with the US delegates?”
“I got a call from them and they are willing to visit us next month.”
Yoongi nodded as he dropped his pen after signing few of the documents that needed his review.
“It’s already seven- thirty, you should head home.” The secretary said.
“I will be leaving in ten minutes. You can go home now, just email me tomorrows schedule a little early today”, Yoongi said while looking into some files.
“Yes sir.”
Yoongi walked to his car in the parking lot as he looked at his phone screen that showed eight as the time. Getting inside his Mercedes he drove off from the office building.
“He is again dressed as a spy on a secret mission.”
The man was dressed in a black fitted high neck and jeans. An oversized jacked along with a mask and bucket hat made it almost impossible to make out who the person is.
“That’s because these paparazzi won’t stop following me wherever I go.” Jungkook said pointing to the blue haired guy.
“Are they still following you for the same reason.” Namjoon stated in a way asking a question.
“They still think he has a secret girlfriend. Like he would meet his girlfriend in a club filled with so many people.” Taehyung, the blue haired guy said.
“You look more of an idol with your blue hair.” Namjoon said with a chuckle.
“Where is Yoongi hyung and Jimin. They said they will come too.” Jungkook asked putting down his beer on the table.
Namjoon picks up his phone and calls Yoongi. After a few rings the call gets picked up.
“Hello.”
“Hyung, where are you?”
“In the parking lot, we are heading in.”
Jimin and Yoongi walked to the table where the rest of the guys were. The guys got up and hugged each other. Jimin sat down across Jungkook as Yoongi took his seat beside Namjoon.
“It’s been some time since we all gathered like this.” Taehyung says.
“It was so hard to get through the parking lot because of the paparazzi. Who of us are they following now,” Jimin said annoyed.
A laugh erupted along the table, ironically all they have been doing is discussing paparazzi one by one.
Yoongi and Jimin looked confused.
“It’s me.” Jungkook says with a chuckle.
“What the hell are they still clinging onto the girlfriend rumour.” Yoongi stated to the younger.
“Apparently yes.” Namjoon said taking a sip of his whiskey.
Yoongi also takes a sip from his whiskey.
“Don’t bother, soon they will have so much to write about us without sneaking around you.” Jimin says with a smirk.
Jungkook nodded along the statement.
“What do you mean by that?” Taehyung asks.
“Our company is going to hold all his concerts and shoots for the year.” Jimin replies to a confused looking Taehyung.
“Wow, that’s good news.” Namjoon said tilting his glass a bit.

Jia pulled the car in front of the big iron gates. For a moment she contemplated the thought of going inside. Should she just turn her car and leave. Jia shakes her head and decides to just go with it. The iron gates open and Jia steps on the accelerator of her car.
Jia’s heels click on the white marble of the ground she once used to call her home. The place now feels so unfamiliar, it makes her body get goosebumps.
“You are here.” a voice calls her out.
Jia turns towards the voice. There is a lady, probably a worker in the mansion. She is dressed in a formal black suit.
She comes to Jia and gives her a small bow. “I will go and inform your father. Please have a seat.” She says taking her to the couch.
Jia bows to her before she leaves upstairs. Her father must have informed her about her coming.
Jia tucks her hair behind her ear as she hears footsteps coming down. Her father walks towards her and stops in front of the couch.
“Hello, dad.” Jia bows to him.
“How have you been.” Jia asks.
“I have been good. I see you are back from the US.” Her father said with his usual emotionless voice.
“Yes, it’s been a week.”
“Honey, we have a guest.” a voice says from behind Jia.
Her heels clank on the floor and she approaches them. Jia’s shifts uncomfortably on the sofa as she sees the woman come into her sight. The woman removes her sunglasses and takes a seat beside her husband.
Jia looks in her father’s eyes and then at her.
“Jia, I didn’t know you were back from the US.” The women says keeping her bag on the table in front of them.
Jia doesn’t say anything. She shifts in her place again, clearly uncomfortable by the presence of the woman beside her father.
“Her studies there must have finished. That’s great honey.” She says to her husband.
“I think I should go now. It was nice seeing you, dad.” Jia says a lump forming in her throat.
“You should stay for some time, it been a long time since you visited.” The woman said.
Jia’s clutch around the handle of her bag tightened. How can this woman act so normal. She gives them a bow as she turns around. She started to walk but then stopped when her eyes fell on the large portrait that was hanging in the living room. Looking at it is still as much hard as it was the first day the picture was hung there. Jia felt tears coming in her eyes. She quickly began to walk again and within a few seconds she was out of the big mansion doors and back into her car.
*
“We can try to implement these offers and strategies to the hotels of US.” Ms Yeon Joo said placing her folder on the table.
“Keep a track of the performance and report me the changes in three months.” Jimin says.
“Yes sir.”
The people in the meeting room leave one by one.
“Do you think this will work.” Jimin says pointing to the folder.
“I’m not quite sure about it. We have to see how the practical application will be.” Yoongi replies.
“I have been thinking about hiring a new team. What do you think about the idea.” Jimin says.
“I was thinking about the same thing, so I did some research before today’s meeting.” Yoongi says opening his laptop to show Jimin the presentation.
“Our team is great when it comes to dealing with marketing in Korea but it’s pressurizing them a lot as we have been growing a lot in other countries as well.” Jimin states.
“I was thinking about setting up another marketing management team that solely deals with matter regarding hotels that are situated outside the country.” Yoongi points towards the laptop.
Jimin raised an eyebrow as he read through the document.
“Is this team going to work in collaboration with the existing marketing team.” Jimin asks as he read through the pages of the document.
“No, it will be better if we introduce the new marketing team to a whole different idea. If they work with the previous team, they won’t be learning anything new. I want this team to be more familiar with the US management system.”
“We will need to train them in advance skills though.”
“I think I know the person who can train them well.” Jimin says.
“Who?”
“Seokjin hyung. He’s already managing our US branch from three years and is well acquainted with the system.”
“I heard that he is coming back to Korea in a month. We can ask him then.” Yoongi states.
Jimin nods. “Till then the selection will be completed. We can start as soon as he’s here.”
“That sounds great. I will announce the opening of the recruitment then.” Yoongi informs Jimin.

Jia chose a white channel sweater and handed it to the girl by her side.
“Can you please get this in my size.”
“You can wait here mam; I will check if it’s in your size.” The girl said moving back somewhere in the stores.
“Jia.” She heard someone call her name.
Jia turned around and smiled immediately up on seeing who called her.
“Hosoek oppa.”
“It’s you, I knew it was you when I saw you from outside.” Hosoek said engulfing her in a hug.
“When did you come back?”
“It’s been more than a week.”
“Have you been well, it’s been five years since I last saw you.”
“I have been good. How have you been?”
“Great.”
“If you are free, do you mind grabbing a coffee with me.” Hosoek asked.
“Okay, just wait a minute I will pay for my clothes first.” Jia said walking to the counter to pay for her sweater.
“Here’s your bag mam.” The girl said handing her the bag.
“Thank you.”
“Here, careful it’s hot.” Hosoek said placing the coffee on the table.
Jia looked around the studio. Nostalgia hitting her as she remembered the days, she spent hours practicing here.
“This place looks beautiful.” Jia states.
Hosoek smiles. “After mom retired, I took over the studio, we expanded it.”
Jia smiled up on hearing the mention of her ballet teacher.
“How is Mrs. Jung, I would be nice if I get to meet her someday.”
“She on a vacation in Jeju with my dad. I will tell her you came back when she returns. She would be pleased to see you again.”
“Whenever she is in the studio, she always talks to the ballerina’s how good you were.”
“Most of them are jealous of you even without knowing you.” Hosoek said with a chuckle.
Hosoek’s phone rang. He checked the caller id.
“I will be back in a few minutes.”
Jia took a sip from her coffee when she heard the door open. She looked to see if it was Hosoek. A girl entered the room, her ballet shoes in one hand. Her face was red, like she’s been crying.
The girl’s eyes locked with Jia’s. She gave her a small bow as Jia saw her blinking away the tears in her eyes.
She looked here and there, and Jia figured out she’s looking for Hosoek.
“Hosoek went out to take a call. He will be back.”
“You can have a seat.” Jia says.
The girl hesitantly sat on the couch putting her shoes down on the ground. She had a tired look on her face. Jia wanted to ask her but then she thought it will be awkward of her to ask why she was crying.
Hosoek entered the room putting his phone in the back pocket.
“Jia, I’m sorry for taking long.”, Hosoek stopped when he saw Yeji sitting on the sofa.
Yeji looked at Jia first and then she looked at Hosoek. Hosoek eyes went to the shoes that were lying on the floor. He could see that she’s been crying.
“Did she call you.” Yeji asks.
Hosoek nods. “Did you cry because of that.”
Yeji nods backs.
Jia glanced between the two and could sense the elephant in the room.
“She has to move back to her town and won’t be able to teach me anymore. How can she do this to me.”
Yeji’s eyes got filled with tears again. Hosoek walks to her and gives a pat on her head.
“I will try to arrange someone new as your instructor.”
Yeji shakes her head. “The competition is in six months and it’s not possible to find someone on such a short notice. The contracts mostly state for a year at least.”
He brushes his fingers through his hair and takes a seat on the couch. He glances towards Jia.
“I’m sorry about this.”
“You don’t need to be, it looks something important.” Jia reassures him instantly.
Hosoek nods. He shifts in his seat looking towards Yeji and then Jia.
“I should have introduced you with each other.” Hosoek says.
“Jia, this is Yeji, she is the best dancer of our studio.”
Yeji bows to Jia. Jia smiles at her.
“Yeji, this is Jia. Remember the dancer my mom always talks about. It’s her.”
Yeji eyes sparkle when she heard that she is in front of the girl, Hosoek’s mom always used to talk about.
“We all have heard a lot about your talent in ballet. You are a really good dancer.”
Jia shakes her head, as a smile creeps on her face because of the compliment.
Jia looks at Hosoek. “Do you have someone in your mind who can be her instructor.”
Hosoek shakes his head. “I don’t yet. It will take some time to find someone who can teach her well. Mom might know someone.”
Jia nods in understanding. “Yeah, you should talk to your mom about it.”
“Jia takes her bag from the table and get up. “I think I should go now.”
Hosoek gets up from the couch to walk her out.
“I know I shouldn’t be asking you like this, but can you be my instructor for the next six months.” Yeji’s said running in front of her.
Jia looked at her with a shocked expression. She glanced at Hosoek.
Jia shakes her head. “Yeji, I have never taught anyone before. I’m not the right person.”
“We all know how good you are at ballet. I would never find a teacher better than you.”
“Hosoek oppa, can you please tell her to teach me.” Yeji looked at Hosoek with pleading eyes.
Hosoek went speechless at Yeji’s request but he wasn’t completely declining the idea of Jia being her teacher. Knowing how good at ballet Jia is no one would reject if they get a chance to learn from her.
“Yeji, why don’t we talk about this later.” Hosoek says.
Yeji’s face drop to a sad look but then she looks at Jia and smiles. “Can you please think about it. I catch on things easily. It won’t be hard to teach me.”
Jia doesn’t know what to tell her, so she just nods and then walks out of the studio. Hosoek follows behind her.
“She is just in a lot of pressure. Her teacher left unexpectedly. Please don’t mind her words, Jia.”
“I didn’t mind. It was just so overwhelming. Someone talking about and wanting to learn ballet from me, when it’s been so many years.”
Hosoek looked at her. He didn’t know if he was doing the right thing asking this but he still wanted to do this.
“Jia, I don’t know if I am doing the right thing to ask you this, but can you maybe consider it?”
“We can manage her class timings according to when you are free.”
Jia looks at Hosoek’s face and before she could even think of declining, she gets melted with his eyes.
“I will think about this Hosoek but please don’t tell her yet. I don’t want to get her hopes up.”
Hosoek nods in understanding. “Call me if you change your mind.”
Jia gives her a smile getting in her car. “Let’s hangout some other day. Today went by so fast.”
Hosoek waves her a goodbye as he sees her leaving the place.

Y/N tilted her head as she watched this universe's Peter sit on Midtown High's rooftop. So the first Peter she saw said they could call him "Webb Peter" and the other to be called "Raimi Peter" to make it easier. Weird titled names, but that'll work. All four spiderlings stayed at the top of the school's tower, waiting for a sign as Ned and MJ hugged Peter, who cried into their shoulders. The story of how this happened, how Peter's identity was told from a pretend superhero, and how this Universe's Stephen Strange created a spell for people to forget. Though the magic was ruined, and that was how the other spiderlings were summoned. But that also meant the worst people they fought were sent here. Connors, Marko, Dillon, Otto, and Kijo. All words from MJ and Ned.
Kijo.
That made the girls shiver, but that wasn't a worry.
"Peter, there's. . .there are some people here. . .Who--" MJ was whispering to Peter as she and Ned slowly separated from him.
But she didn't finish her sentence when Peter noticed the four as they jumped down the tower, still above Peter but closer to the rooftop. The movements scared Peter, getting up and standing protectively in front of his friends. They are the only ones he has. "Hey," he called out in a warning. "Wait, wait, whoa."
The four spiderlings held their hands up, wanting him to know they were on their side. "Sorry. . .about May," Raimi Peter sympathized.
"Sorry. . ," Y/n spoke next, her arms curling around Kuu's from instinct. "She sounded lovely."
Hearing that May had died hit hard on Y/N. Peter wanted to fix the four and take them back to the lives they had before they became evil. But it backfired, and the whole building exploded, having May in that building with Peter. And only one survived. "Yeah. Sorry. I got some understanding of--"
"No, please don't tell me that you know what I'm going through," Peter pleaded, still mourning. Y/N had also noticed how hurt he was. Bruises and cuts made looking at his brown eyes hard, and his curly brown hair was a mess. His skin was paler and more red, especially around the eyes. Having to go through all of this in one day? Poor thing.
"Okay," Webb Peter sighed and took some steps back.
Peter stared at them, and his eyes were faltering around, to the ground and them. "She's gone. . .and it's all my fault," his voice cracked, trying to keep himself from crying again. "She died for nothing. So I'm gonna do what I should've done in the first place."
He turned to reach for the box. "Peter," Raimi Peter called out.
"Don't," Peter talked over, moving his hand away from the box. "You don't belong here. All of you, so I'm sending you home." his eyes wavered around all four. "Those other guys are from your worlds, right? So you deal with it. If they die, if you k!ll them. . .That's on you. It's not my problem. I don't care anymore. I'm done." Kuu sighed, and her head almost bobbed from how tired Peter sounded. As if he gave up. "I'm really sorry that I dragged you into this. But you have to go home now. Good luck."
Peter reaches for the spell box, but MJ moves the box behind her. Away from him. Peter looked at her as if asking whose side she was on. MJ only looked at him and to the four, a wordless encouragement. "My Uncle Ben was killed," Raimi Peter said, catching Peter's attention again. "It was my fault."
Webb Peter looked at Raimi Peter and took a breather. "I lost. . .I lost Gwen," he said, his eyes already tearing up when he looked at MJ. "My, uh. . .She was my MJ." Y/N let out a quiet gasp, leaning into Kuu when knowing what he meant. "I couldn't save her. I'm never gonna be able to forgive myself for that. But I carried on." he was nodding with his words, Y/N not knowing if he was wobbling or his lips were quivering. "Tried to, uh. . .tried to keep going, tried to keep being the. . .that friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, because I know that's what she would have wanted. But. . .at some point, I just. . .I stopped pulling my punches." he stared at Peter a little longer, raising his arm slightly in Peter's direction. "I got rageful. I got bitter. I just don't want you to end up like. . .like me."
"I lost my parents," Y/N spoke up next, having all eyes on her. "Going home to see that my family is gone. . .my world crashed. Two years. . .two years they've died mysteriously. And I found my answer. I wanted. . .I wanted to avenge my parents. To kill the one who did it all." she licked her lips when they felt dry and bit her bottom slightly. "I almost did it." her words were a whisper for a split second, and she looked at Kuu. "But she snapped me out of it." her eyes moved over to Peter again. "Any eye for an eye. . .may the world go blind. And I didn't want to go blind if I killed another." Her head leaned onto Kuu's shoulder when the memories flashed briefly.
"The night. . .Ben died," Raimi Peter was next to talk. He was calmer, and his voice was steady. "I hunted down the man who I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better. It took me a long time to. . .learn to get through that darkness." Kuu stared at him a little longer. Did he have years to cope?
"I wanna kill him," Peter spoke honestly, looking at Raimi Peter dead in the eyes. "I wanna tear him apart. I can still hear her voice in my head. . ." despite looking dead in the eyes, he broke down a little bit before composing himself again. "Even after she was hurt, she said to me that we did the right thing." His head went down. "She told me that with great power--"
"Comes great responsibility," Raimi gasped with wide eyes as if he recognized the words.
Peter looked back up at him in surprise. Genuinely surprised. "Wait, what?" He questioned, the wheels in his head not yet rolling. "How do you know that?"
"Uncle Ben said it," Webb Peter answered with a small smile.
"The day he died," Ramier Peter finished Webb Peter's sentence. Peter looked over at Y/N, who pointed at Kuu to show her answer. "Maybe she didn't die for nothing, Peter."
Y/N leaned into Kuu's head. "Should I tell him that you--"
"Let them have their Peter moment," Kuu whispered back.
Peter had guided them into the school and into the school laboratory, where he poured out devices that he had used in an attempt to cure the five. Only able to do it on one. Otto. "Okay, so," Peter blew out a breath, pushing the devices apart. "Connors, Marko, Dillon, and, uh. . .Look, I think that I can repair the devices for Dillon and Marko, but the others. . ."
"Well, I got Connors," Webb Peter spoke confidently, picking up the broken device for Connors. "I've already cured him once, so no big deal." the four spiderlings stared at him, and he stared back at them. Questioning why they were staring. "What? It's no big deal."
"Great," Raimi Peter spoke with a smile.
"Yeah," Peter agreed with a nod. "That's great."
"We believe in you," Y/N raised a thumbs up.
Suddenly, Kuu gets a jab on her arm. "Oh, right, you'll do great," she cleared her throat. Not usually the one to doze off.
Webb Peter awkwardly moved around before he finally walked away. "I think I can make an antiserum for Doctor Osborn," Raimi said when he picked up the broken cure for Osborn. "Been thinking about it a long time." Y/N looked at this universe's Peter to see him side-eyed Raimi Peter. Barely concealing vengeance. She lightly tapped Kuu's arm for her to look as well. "Gotta cure all of 'em, right?"
"Right," Peter responded after a heartbeat.
The girls looked at each other with a bit of warmth. "Yeah, it's what we do," Raimi Peter gave his soft smile and walked off.
Peter cleared his throat and looked at the spiderling girls. "So I'm guessing. . .that weird girl is from your world?" he asked, tone raising a bit to help with the questioning style.
"Kijo?" Kuu crossed her arms as the thought grossed her out.
"Just another teenage girl back in high school," Y/N quickly spoke, reaching out to Peter briefly. "Always in love with one boy and then another each week. She was jealous when someone she loved was taken by another. And then she was nicknamed the Love Kijo."
"Then she fell in love with a boy name Taehyung," Kuu scratched her cheek. "But. . .he is uh. . ." she closed her hand into a fist and cleared her throat into it. Y/N pointed at Kuu as if to finish her sentence.
"He is dating you?" Peter raised a brow.
Y/N nodded. "And then she tried to move onto Jungkook," she continued. "Guess who's with him?" she pointed at herself, with Peter nodding slowly. Trying to keep up with the story. "Slowly, she wanted them and five other boys to herself. Her jealousy was taking over her, and she found a spell. A spell to turn herself into an actual Kijo."
"How was she calm with you?" Kuu nodded at Peter.
"Mister. . .Doctor Strange cast a spell to keep her calm," Peter answered awkwardly. But he shook his head and tried to get back on track. "How will you cure her?"
Kuu winced and placed a hand on her chest. "Magic against magic," Y/N placed a hand on Kuu's shoulder in assurance. "Kijo first fell in love with Taehyung, so she wanted him most of all. And that made Kuu her top target. Ingest pain into her body with magic. And while doing that, I put my magic into hers." her hand went up for the magic to swarm around her hand. "She was weak, only being a Kijo for a couple of weeks." her hand curled into a fist. "But I placed too much magic, and I almost killed her. . ." It was Kuu's turn to place a hand on Y/N's shoulder for assurance. "We fought in an abandoned building that was close to collapse. We all got out seconds before the building fully collapsed. All but one."
". . .There's no device we can use as a cure?" Peter asked after the silence stretched out for too long.
"You can't cure spells and magic with science, Peter," Y/N gave Peter a half smile. "It'll be okay. I know what to do now."
Arms wrapped around Y/N as a hug. "I don't mind getting stabbed if it's to save the multi-verse," Kuu had also given Peter a crooked smile. She looked over at Y/N. "Now, since we don't have anything with science to cure Kijo, let's help the other Peters."
Y/N nodded in agreement, and the two parted away.
Kuu was leaning into Webb Peter as she watched him work on the cure, snacking on some cookies she raided from the cafeteria a little bit ago, but they didn't scold her as she stared deeply at Webb Peter's cure. It was intriguing. Very interesting. The nerdy one out of them was Y/N, who assisted Raimi Peter whenever he asked for help. As if he needed it. More of including the girls. "What's your story?" Raimi Peter asked, looking over at Y/N. She realized he was talking to her when feeling his stare on her. She looked back at him, humming to repeat his question. "How did two girls become. . .Spider-Women."
"Cosmic and Star," Kuu called out in correction, looking around Webb Peter to point at Raimi Peter.
"Cosmic," Webb Peter pointed at Kuu, who, in return, pointed at Y/N in correction. She even pointed at herself. "Star." then again, Y/N pointed at Kuu, who was pointing at herself. An instinct.
"Similar stories to yours," Y/N quickly cut in so she could answer Raimi Peter's question. "This scientist was a sorceress." the two Peters looked at Y/N in shock. "Climbed up Kuu, bit her hand, and fell on my ankle. One last bite before it died."
"I made sure it died," Kuu called out again, enjoying her cookie.
The two Peters looked at Y/N. "She stepped on it," she explained.
They looked at Kuu, who leaned into the table and chewed off another piece of cookie. She hummed in satisfaction and stretched her arms forward to rest her head. Suddenly, Ned had rolled up beside Raimi Peter, who was squeezing the liquid from a dropper into a test tube above a flame. "Um. . ," he called out awkwardly. "So. Do you have a best friend, too?" Raimi Peter had paused from the question before continuing his movements.
"I did," Raimi answered, not looking at Ned, into his cure for Osborn. They all slowly stared over at Raimi Peter. Ned repeated his words in question. "He died in my arms. After he tried to kill me." he squeezed another drop of liquid from the dropper and into the test tube.
"Dude. . ," Webb Peter whispered. Ned looked up at Webb Peter, lagging in his seat before he rolled away. More quiet.
Y/N looked over at Peter and noticed how he was sitting with MJ. The two were speaking lowly, but she could hear. Whispers that everything will be okay from MJ as Peter is sorry for bringing her into this. "Kuu?" she called out lowly for the girl to also look at them. Kuu stood up from her rolling chair and walked behind Y/N's chair. Her hands were raised and placed on Y/N's shoulders, rubbing them slightly. "How do you think Jungkook and Taehyung are feeling right now?"
"Looking for us?" Kuu shrugged. "Who do you think is freaking out the most?"
"They have the same brain cell," Y/N snickered, Kuu giggling at the thought. "They're both panicking. Taehyung is probably crying."
"Are they your boyfriends?" Webb Peter based.
The two turned around to look at him. "Yeah, high school sweethearts," Y/N nodded with a smile. "Remember when we fell through that portal?" it took Webb Peter a few seconds to think about it, eyes wondering before nodding with a shrug. "Well, we were going to have a movie night after patrolling. And then we fell through the portal, having them call out our names."
"They're probably in the process of thinking who kidnapped us," Kuu looked over her shoulder at the two. "If we're to teleport back once it's all over, they'll have tears down their faces."
Webb Peter huffed in amusement and stared at the couple, a bit bittersweet. Kuu had turned her head to not notice the gaze, but Raimi Peter had noticed when feeling the bittersweet stare when it was not at him. "Do you have someone?" he asked, eyes on Webb Peter now.
"No," Webb Peter quickly denied it. "I got no time for, uh. . .Peter Parker stuff, you know?" he smiled awkwardly but turned the question back. "Do you?"
"Um. . ," Raimi Peter had to think momentarily. "That's a little. . .complicated."
"No, I understand," Webb Peter assured, twisting a knob on his cure. "I guess it's just not in the cards for guys like us."
Raimi Peter looked at him with sympathy. "Well. . .I wouldn't give up," he smiled with hope. "It took a while, but we made it work."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, me and. . .MJ," Raimi Peter smiled in thoughts of his world. The three did look over at him with scrunched brows. "Well, my MJ, which, uh. . .it gets confusing, huh?"
The two chuckled, and the girls looked at each other. Did they just have a bonding moment? "Hey, as much as you guys are having your Peter moment, know that everyone has a happy ending," Y/N cut into their stares.
"Even if we're not named 'Peter Parker' or as sciencey," Kuu started, quickly pointing at Y/N to add a quick comment. "She got that part; I have the creativity." the two Peters let out chuckles at her fastened words. "But we are still. . .you." she looked at Y/N and back at the two. "And we have found our happy endings. It'll get to you both soon."
"Keep moving forward," Y/N finished.
Both Peters stared at them a little longer. Raimi Peter smiled at them as Webb Peter's smile was still bittersweet. Yet, sweeter. "Peter!" Ned called out, catching everyone's attention. Even the girls. They pointed at each other, trying to see who he was talking to. "Peter-Peter." he was having trouble trying to call out.
"We're all called Peter, Ned," Peter reminded.
The other two Peters nodded. "Yeah,"
"Peter Parker?" Another failed attempt.
"Same. We're all Peter Parker."
Ned let out a sigh in defeat, pointing at the computer. "The computer!"
Peter quickly got to the computer, with the others following along. "Oh, I'm ready," he realized.
Webb Petter raised his cure. "Yeah, me too," he stated. "Okay, so. . .now, all we gotta do is lure these guys someplace, right? Try to cure them while they try to. . .kill us, and then send them home."
"Using a magic box?" Raimi Peter continued.
"Well, that's the plan," Peter shrugged, looking back at the others.
Webb Peter looked over at Raimi Peter. "So, are you gonna go into battle dressed as a cool youth pastor, or do you got your suit?" he asked curiously. Raimi Peter looked back at Webb Peter and pulled down his collar to show a suit similar to the others. "Good."
Ned walked up to hand Peter something. Y/N and Kuu peered over in curiosity. "Here's your web cartridges."
"Oh, thanks, man," Peter smiled and grabbed them from Ned.
It wasn't just the girls that were curious; Raimi Peter also looked at them curiously. "What's that for?"
"Uh, it's for my web fluid," Peter answered in confusion, placing the web fluid into the device on his wrist and to the other. "It's for my web shooters. Why."
Raimi Peter suddenly shot a web out of his wrist. "You can do it too?!" Kuu yelled as others were yelling out more in shock. The girls looked at each other and added more to the shock, Kuu shooting the web under Raimi Peter's and Y/N shooting her magic web over theirs to show its orange glow.
"That came out of you!" Ned spoke, amazed and yet still startled.
"Yeah," Raimi Peter looked at the other two Peters. "You can't do that, huh?"
"No," Peter almost yelled out as if it shouldn't even exist to be possible.
"Huh, you'd think you'd have the ability to produce a web from a radioactive spider," Kuu hummed.
Y/N nodded, trying to understand why Peter and Webb Peter couldn't do it. "I can even produce web through magic," she scratched her jawline slightly. Though, with her being the only spidey with magic. . .anything can be surprising.
Webb Peter leaned down to look at Kuu's wrist, still amazed. "How on Earth is that. . ," he spoke under his breath, not finishing his sentence.
"Anyway, we're getting sidetracked," Peter waved his hand and leaned into the computer. " Look, this is where we're gonna do this, okay? It's isolated, so no one should get hurt. We draw them there with the box; it's the one thing they all want. All we have to do is figure out how we're gonna get there."
"Oh, we can portal there," Ned spoke casually, but that surprised Peter as he vocalized a "what" in immediate response. "I'm magic now."
"Yeah, no, no," MJ quickly cut in to back up the statement. "He's right. He can. He can."
Peter looked at MJ, even the other hims from other worlds. And they backed up the statement with nods or saying yes, and back at Ned. "Wait, really?"
"Dude, I got Doctor Strange magic," Kuu almost burst out in laughter from this conversation, leaning into Y/N to keep herself silent when Peter vocalized his question again when Ned stated that sentence. "Yeah!" his face became serious when he spoke again. "And I promise you. . .I won't turn into a supervillain and try to kill you."
After a few seconds of silence, Peter looked at Ned in confusion, and Webb Peter pat Ned's back and nodded in approval. "Okay. . ," Peter was still confused about what Ned was going on about. "Thank. . .you? Um. . .Alright. Here goes nothing." he looked over to his girlfriend. "What's that thing you always say? If you expect disappointment--"
"No, no, no. . .We gotta kick some ass," MJ talked over him with her new saying.
Peter stared at her a little longer and nodded. "Okay," he had a small smile, admiring her.
Y/N noticed the admiration and smiled sadly before removing it when Raimi Peter spoke up. "Cure," he corrected. "Cure some ass."
"Cure that ass," Ned spoke out the new saying, nodding with his words and a smile.
"Do you think we will get home in time for the hospital?" Kuu asked, leaning on the railing, enjoying the moon's light. Peter decided they would have this final battle at the Statue of Liberty, currently under construction, with a half-finished Captain America Shield on the arm holding the tablet.
"Well, the box will quickly be in action when everyone is cured," Y/N reminded, leaning back on the railing. "We'll be sent home. And I can stitch you up when we get back."
Kuu huffed and leaned her head down. "I don't want to be stabbed, but we don't have any other way," she softly spoke. "This Peter said she was sent here as she sent magic into me."
She looked at her partner and raised her hand. Hesitating but her hand slowly moved onto Kuu's back and rubbed soothingly. "She'll be happier to try and hurt you," Y/N joked, hanging her head back.
Her smile widened when Kuu raised her head to glare at Y/N. "Next time we go against a major villain, you're going to get stabbed," Kuu declared, pointing at Y/N with her promise.
"What if it's another magic solution to defeat that villain," Y/N teased, leaning down into Kuu.
"Then you'll have to defeat that villain with a wound," Kuu responded, crossing her arms and huffing. "I have to get hurt in this. This is going to be twice now. Twice!" her head went away from Y/N's, and she blew a raspberry. "Why can't you heal?"
"Ask the spider you stepped on," Y/N deadpanned.
"Probably swept away," Kuu hummed, looking down at the two Peters when this universe's Peter called out that it could be any minute.
They watched as Raimi webbed up the last cure and chatted with Webb about the villains--how Max was a nice guy until he fell into a pool of electric eels. And some he was trying to crack his back until Webb Peter offered to crack his back, too. "Is this the third Peter moment?" Y/N whispered to Kuu, who nodded.
"I think they have a more special bond for having the same names," Kuu whispered. "Why can't we bond with them like that?"
"We have a special bond either way," Y/N smiled, jumping onto Kuu with a hum, both watching the boys.
"God," Webb Peter breathed out. "This is so cool. I always wanted brothers and sisters." he suddenly looked at Raimi Peter and the girls, keeping eyes repeating on the three. "So, you could, like, make your web fluid in your body?"
"Are you teasing us?" Raimi Peter asked, not knowing if he should be offended, raising a brow.
"No, no, no, no, no, no," Peter was also quick to defend Webb Peter, standing on the top of the Statue of Liberty. The box was in his hands for preparation. "He's not teasing you. It's just that. . ." he looked down at his covered wrist and then his shoulders raising. "We can't do that, so naturally, we're curious as to how your web situation works. That's all."
Webb had added, "If it's personal, I don't wanna pry. I just think it's cool."
"No," Raimi Peter quickly responded, a little over Webb Peter's words, to place assurance. "I wish I could tell you, but it's like, I don't do it. . .Like I don't. . .Like, I don't do breathing." he was having difficulty explaining, placing his hand on his chest and extending it out to try and see if that was a more straightforward explanation. "Like, breathing just happens."
"Web is produced through our veins," Kuu tried to help out Raimi Peter. "As our heart beats involuntarily, our web happens involuntarily. Magic or not magic."
"Whoa," Peter was in awe of the explanations. How three spiders can produce their web. "Like, does it just come out of your wrists, or. . .Does it come out anywhere else?"
"Only. . .only the wrist," the three spiders spoke in unison.
"You never had to web block?" Webb Peter asked, still very interested in this topic. "Cause I run out of webs all the time." Y/N and Kuu looked at one another almost simultaneously, thinking about their moment. "I had to make my own in a lab. And it's a hassle."
And it wasn't just them that had that memory run through as Raimi Peter's eyes widened and pointed at Webb Peter when he mentioned the web block. "That sounds like a hassle, yeah," he agreed, pointing at Webb Peter. "But I did, actually, as you said that." His hand went up to the temple of his head and imitated an explosion. "I was like, oh. . .I had a web block."
"W-Why?"
"Existential crisis stuff," the three spiders spoke in unison again.
"Yeah, don't get me started on that," Webb Peter pifts.
"Hey," Peter called out. "what are, like, some of the craziest villains that you guys have fought?"
"Seems you've met some of them," Raimi Peter almost let out a chuckle, with Webb Peter letting out a half laugh too. "I fought a. . .an alien. . .made out of black goo once."
"No way!" Peter was quick to be in excitement at the mention of an alien. "I fought an alien, too. On Earth and in space."
Y/N let out a sound of realization, pointing at Peter. "Us too!" She informed, having Peters look at them. "He was purple."
"Wait, was it him?" Peter's eyes widened in shock. The girls nodded.
"I wanna fight an alien," Webb Peter almost had a pout when the girls and the other two Peters bond over the fact they fought aliens, unlike him.
"I'm, I'm still, like. . .that you three fought an alien in space," Raimi Peter admits.
"I'm lame," Webb Peter frowned, having Y/N jerk her head over to look at him and having a "hey" being called out in a scolding tone as he continued to talk. "Like, I fought a Russian guy in a, like, a rhinoceros machine."
It wasn't just her that looked at Webb Peter when Raimi Peter also looked at him, quick to disagree with his statement. "Hey, can we rewind it back to the 'I'm lame' part? 'Cause you're not."
"Aw, thanks," Webb Peter blushed at the compliment from Raimi Peter. "No, yeah. I appreciate it; I'm not saying I'm lame." but he was just trying to take back his words. "But it's just the self-talk. Maybe we should, you know."
"Yeah, listen. . .Please. . .You're. . .You're amazing. Just to take it in for a minute."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah,"
"You. . .You are amazing,"
"I guess I am,"
"You are amazing,"
"Thank you,"
"Will you say it?"
"No, I kinda needed to hear that," Webb Peter smiled. "Thank you."
A feeling of shiver down Y/N's spine, having him stand up and look around. Already lightly hitting Kuu with the back of her hand. Kuu was already standing straight when feeling the sense. "Alright, guys, focus up," Peter quickly spoke, starting to focus. "Can you feel that?"
"Yeah,"
The sky above their heads lights up with sinister yellow flashes. Y/N gulped down whatever was stuck in her throat while Kuu looked around to see who was coming first. And the light in the sky was an obvious answer. Max Dillon. "What's up, Peter?" he greeted with echoes in the air. Thunder rumbles as Max materializes in a flashy burst, Arc Reactor attached to his chest and positively radiant with electricity. That's what Peter had tried to do to try and cure Max? Y/N closed her eyes and only allowed a huff of annoyance. This will be hard to cure with this guy being all electricity. "How do you like the new-new? Look, you give it to me, I'm gonna destroy it." a vicious smile escaped him. A smirk stayed on his lips. "But I'll let you live." His lips fell from the smirk, less playful. "Don't make me a murderer, Peter."
The girls' masks crawled up their faces as they joined the foreign Peters in springing into action. Webb Peter went towards Max to distract the guy from Peter. "Hey, Max!" he greeted happily, swinging to Max. "I missed you, man!" Though Max wasn't as happy, trying to send a blast. "Ho!" he swings upwards to barely avoid the blast.
Y/N and Kuu swung to the top of Lady Liberty, looking around for Kijo. But it was only a short time until there was a yell for Kuu. The girl in question groaned. "Ready for pain?" Y/N joked lightly, looking around for Kijo.
"As long as you keep your promise for next time," Kuu muttered.
"Kuu!" The echoing voice of a female made them turn around to see Kijo standing a bit behind. A kijo mask and long black straight hair. Red and black Hikizuri with the palest skin barely showing under the sleeves. "I thought I killed you."
"Technically, you never saw me die," Kuu pointed out, placing hands on her hips. "And I'm very healthy since I'm standing here." Kijo let out a growl and sent a blast of dark red magic their way. "Yeeesh." she quickly went on her knees and leaned her body back to avoid the magic.
"Come on; we have to keep her busy so we can cure her soon," Y/N quickly spoke, running to dodge the magic.
She flicked her wrist for a magic platform to appear for her to run across. A platform was placed above Kijo's head for Kuu to send a web on it to swing. Legs forward for a kick. And Y/N jumped off another platform with an arm ready for an uppercut. But Kijo teleported away for the girls to collide. Kuu quickly opened her open to wrap around Y/N as said girl wrapped her arm around Kuu. "I forgot she can teleport," Kuu admits, feeling Y/N swing with the other arm.
"It uses a lot of her power," Y/N stated the reminder, tossing Kuu up in the air when her legs unwrapped. Kuu caught herself by sending a web to swing. Their eyes looked up to see Kijo in the air. "She's still frail. Can probably teleport one more time if she really wants to kill you with her magic."
"That's soothing to hear," Kuu retorted in sarcasm. "Let's use up that last teleport and hope that's the only last teleport."
Y/N nodded, and they swung up to get higher than Lady Liberty. She formed platforms again on both ends as they ran down towards Kijo. Sending webs at the same time, Kijo teleported again. "Stop playing with me and fight me!" Kijo yelled in annoyance, and Y/N jumped over Kuu as they crossed paths.
"Okay," Y/N hummed with a smirk, that their need for that last teleport to be used up had been successful. "We can get that arranged." They both sent webs onto Kijo, and they swung around to trap Kijo. Y/N formed platforms under them so they could stand and keep the webs around Kijo. "Got her! She's a struggle, though!"
"I also have Max's attention! Now what?" Webb Peter informed everyone as well, getting away from Max, who sent a strong lightning bolt that barely missed him and only caught his foot on fire that, went away with a quick put-out.
"Okay, great!" Raimi Peter praised, a bit breathless, trying to get Connors off him as he swung around. A surprise visit from the lizard. "Uh, just FYI. . .Lizard-guy is here too!" They suddenly hit a random crane. Raimi Peter holds himself inside; Connors grabs an external pipe and starts climbing it. "Guys, comm check! Hello?"
"I need Max's cure!" Webb Peter called out, still trying to distract Max.
"Yeah. I'm on it!" Peter assured.
"Peter!" Raimi Peter called out, still battling Connors. "I need the Lizard cure!"
"Okay! Okay!"
"Sorry to add on more problems," Kuu grunted, still pulling but losing grip. "But we can't keep her here for much longer!" But no one responded to her, and another sense tingled through the girls as they turned their heads to notice a sudden sandstorm forming around the construction site.
"Are you seeing this, Y/N?!"
"You think I don't?!" Y/N retorted.
Kijo was still growling and struggling with yells ripping through her throat. "Let me go! I'm serious!" She yelled, shaking her body around to try and get the girls to let go.
Y/N let out a noise. "Maybe be less serious!" she yelled back. "You're too serious for these boys."
"Don't test her--" Kijo had freed her hands slightly to send a burst of magic their way. An easy hit for Kijo as they grunted and let go of their webs. Y/N's magic disappeared, meaning the platforms disappeared. Though that didn't matter as they were blasted away. Light screams leave them, and they are swooped into the arms of Raimi Peter and Webb Peter.
"What the hell is going on out there?!" Webb Peter cursed lightly, putting down Kuu as they hid safely inside the scaffold. He looked at Raimi Peter when helping Peter up. "I kept yelling at you, Peter Two, Peter Two--"
"I know, but I thought you're Peter Two?" Raimi Peter looked at Webb Peter in confusion.
"What? I'm not Peter Two--"
"Stop arguing, both of you!" Peter yelled over them to catch their eyes on him. "Listen to Peter One. Look, we're clearly not very good at this!"
"I know, I know. We suck," Webb Peter was quick to admit defeat. "I-I don't know how to work as a team."
"Me neither," Raimi Peter admits, looking at the girls who were more of an audience at this time. If only they could eat that popcorn their boyfriends were preparing. "They're literally a team!"
"Well, I do," Peter said when everything was calm. "I have been in a team, okay? I don't wanna brag, but I will. I was in the Avengers."
The girls looked at each other and back at Peter. "So were we," they spoke in unison.
He looked at them. "Oh, you were?" he asked lightly, not thinking they would say that.
"The Avengers?" Raimi Peter was already questioning the words from Peter's mouth. Peter looked at Raimi Peter excitedly and nodded in confirmation of the team. "That's great!" Peter thanked him, but Y/N realized that Raimi Peter's smile was more of confusion. "What is that?"
"Wait, you don't have the Avengers?" Peter asked and jerked his thumb in the girls' direction. "But they have the Avengers!"
Webb Peter was more jealous when he assumed the meaning. "Is that a band? Are you in a band?"
"No, I'm not in a band. No, the Avengers is a. . .Earth's Mightiest--"
"How is this helping?!" Raimi Peter suddenly shouted.
"Look, it's not important," Peter quickly returned to the main topic. "All we gotta do is focus, trust your tingle, and coordinate our attacks, okay?"
They all nodded in agreement, taking breaths. "Yes. Okay," Raimi Peter took a deep breath. "Let's pick one target."
"Right. We take them off the board one at a time," Webb was also getting on board with the plan.
"Now you got it," Peter sighed in relief that they were all on the same page. "Okay." he pointed at himself. "Peter One." he pointed to Raimi Peter. "Peter Two." Raimi Peter spoke along, and Peter moved his pointer finger to Webb Peter. "Peter Three." Webb Peter threw his arms up when saying it with Peter. "And you two, Y/N and Kuu, just keep distracting Kijo until we have at least Max cured." the girls vocalized their agreement to the plan. "All right, let's do this."
They were about to run off, but Webb Peter called out to them, hands on the other two Peters and eyeing all four of them. "I love you guys."
They took a few seconds to respond. "Thank you," they said almost simultaneously.
Five spiders jump off the scaffolding, screaming wildly, swinging in tandem, a joy Y/N didn't know she'd feel with three other spideys. They even used each other webs to swing each other around and get themselves above Lady Liberty and land in order. Raimi Peter, Webb Peter, this universe's Peter, and the girls in the window of the three. All on Lady Liberty's crown. Sandman, Electro, Kijo, and Lizard gather to meet them. The two group lunge at one another at the exact moment. Raimi Peter meets up with Max, Webb Peter flying kicks Connors while Peter taps Marko lightly and swings down, ready to take command. And the girls avoided a magic strike from Kijo before Y/N swung her leg to hit their opponent, but she teleported away. "Let's go," they all quickly swing away from the villains. "Okay, Spider-Mans. Sandman first."
"Good luck, girls," Raimi Peter called out to them.
Y/N and Kuu swung up to chase after Kijo. "I thought she only had one more teleportation," Kuu spoke to Y/N as Kijo waited in the sky for the first move from either Y/N or Kuu. "Why did she teleport again?"
"Desperate?" Y/N questioned, the two now at the top of the scaffolding. "But look at her. Just floating there." it was unsettling. "Should we talk to her?"
"Maybe, it could be just as simple," Kuu agreed, licking her lips and taking a breath. Y/N raised her arm for platform steps going up to Kijo. They stayed close till they were at the top platform. "You aren't fighting."
"And before that, you weren't trying," Y/N added.
"I'm weak," Kijo grumbled, wrapping her arms around herself and looking down at the fight. "That teleport took so much of me." They looked down to see how Webb Peter threw Marko's cure toward Peter, who turned it on and tossed it into the statue. A light glowed, and the girls knew that Marko had been cured. "You know, when I was sent here, it was just moments before I killed Kuu." A shiver went down Kuu's spine from that simple sentence. "I already used up all I could, and that damned wizard made it worse."
The girls looked at each other from that statement being given out to them with ease. Was Kijo planning something? "Will you let me cure you, then?" Y/N gulped when offering. "So we can get you home?"
"What's the point?" Kijo let out another grown, and Y/N almost grabbed Kuu's hand in warning. They watched the Peters trying to go against Max, but the electricity kept them away. And Max could have Webb Peter in a hold, yelling from being electrified. "When I go back, you guys will still be happy with the boys I like."
"You still would've gone after us even if you didn't discover our identity," Kuu sighed at that truth.
And Kijo did.
But finding out they were Cosmic and Star was stupid. A double date until there was a sudden attack at the restaurant. And the girls sneaked away into the alley next to the restaurant to get into their suits. And somehow, Kijo was there to see it.
Kijo had Jungkook, Taehyung, and five others find out about their identities. So that was fun.
"So?" Kijo mumbled.
Y/N turned and moved to stand next to Kuu to look at Kijo. "Let me cure you," she offered again. "And we can try to find you someone to be happy with."
Her hand held out to Kiji, who turned her head to see the hand. She looked up at the girls and back down at the hand. Kijo held her hand out, looking to take Y/N's hand, but it moved in Kuu's direction, and the dark red dusted around her hand and sent her forward. It felt like slow motion. As if the tingles in them did not appear in time. But Y/N's face was moving to see where the magic appeared. Kuu froze, and pain indulged in her chest, barely missing the heart, and looked down over red stains extending out. "Second chances exist for a reason," was all Kijo said. Y/N gasped at the movements. It was solidified but had mist rotating around to make it seem dusty.
"Surprise attack?" Kuu gasped out with a breathless chuckle. She slowly descended to one knee, Kijo's arm rotating down to follow. Her masked face also stayed on Kuu's when her mask disappeared so she could let out a loud inhale of oxygen. "Y/N, do it. . .now!"
It was almost forgotten, but Y/N quickly remembered the plan and wrapped her hands around the magic. Her hands glew orange, and her magic web traveled into Kijo's magic, and it inserted Kijo, who let out a yell in pain from the foreign magic interfering with her magic. "It's okay," Y/N assured, repeating it for assurance.
But Kijo's yells for pain were getting intense, and she was falling to one knee and slowly onto the other, but Y/N wasn't stopping, even with the tears falling from behind the mask. "Y-Y/N," Kuu called out with a stutter, the magic also traveling into her. Taking over all of the magic from Kijo, not disregarding the magic inside Kuu--a weird reminding feeling with her. The magic entering her body was an incredible feeling, but it hurt her nerves as her body rejected the magic. "That's. . .That's enough." she tried to exclaim her sentence, but nothing. "You're killing her--and m-me." But that was enough for Y/N to listen, and her hands disappeared from the magic, and it dissolved.
The mask disappeared into dust and flew with the wind to show the familiar tan girl with hazel eyes and chestnut hair. She was still on her knees, and a small moan of relief came from the girl, falling forward for her hands to catch herself. "Myra?" Y/N called out, her mask disappearing, still a bit alarmed if it worked.
Myra slowly raised herself and looked up at Y/N. Her green eyes took in the details of the girl in front of her. Kuu groaned, and her other knee fell to the ground. Y/N turned around and quickly went down to wrap her arms around Kuu for support. "Did I do that?" Y/N turned her head to look at Myra.
"Not my first time," Kuu chuckled in pain, giving a thumbs up. She looked down at her wound to see it slowly fixing itself. "I'll survive. . .but stitches are surely appreciated."
Y/N gently helped Kuu up to her feet. "Why?" Myra's voice had the girls look over at her. "Why did you help me instead of killing me?" her eyes watered, and her lips quivered. "I tried to kill Kuu. Twice. I was so jealous that I used a spell to try and destroy you guys." her fingers raked through her scalp. "Why?"
That was dark. "We're not murderers," Y/N spoke softly, and Myra jerked her head up. "We're heroes."
"It's what we do as your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Women," Kuu smiled. But she looked up at Y/N, who was shrugging with a nod at how it had a nice ring. "I think we hung out with them for too long."
A familiar sound made them turn and see a portal forming and a Doctor Stange going through. "We should get going," Y/N spoke to Kuu, having her look to see if even Max was cured and Otto was here. But he looked fine. "Come on, Myra, let's get you down." They helped Myra, more for Kuu, down the steps and got her safely inside the Lady Liberty. And a cured Marko sitting in here as well, looking at his hands that were no longer sand. "You'll be safe here, and soon you'll be home."
Myra's eyes staggered away, licking her lips into a bite of the bottom lip. She only nodded. Y/N stared a little longer, grabbed Kuu's hand, and pulled her away. "Be careful," Kuu lamely scolded when Y/N pulled her right arm closer to the wound. "It still hurts."
"Regenerating slowly?" Y/N teased.
"Aren't you hilarious," Kuu deadpanned.
The two exit Lady Liberty to see another portal opening and Doctor Strange walks through, holding the contained spell. Peter had also come in, trying to talk to Doctor Strange. "Strange, wait, we're so close--"
"Skip it!" Doctor Strange yelled over him, Peter, not wanting to hear it. "I've been dangling over the Grand Canyon for twelve hours!"
Y/N and Kuu looked at each other one more time before going up to be on each side of Peter, with Webb Peter on Kuu's side and Raimi Peter on Y/N's side. Kuu took a few steps back to capture her balance, and her hand went over the wound. "I know, I know, I, uh, um, uh," Peter was losing his words, trying to explain what was happening. "I-I'm sorry about that, sir; I mean--"
Doctor Strange's gaze was on Peter as the other two Peters glared at him. "You went to the Grand Canyon?!" Raimi Peter asked with a bit of venom.
Even Webb Peter stepped forward and pointed a thumb in Peter's direction. "He could've used your help!" he also had venom in his words.
"No, no, no, it's okay, it's okay!" Peter quickly played peacemaker. But also pointing at them when introducing the other universe spiders to Doctor Strange. "Uh, these. . .These are my new friends. This is Peter Parker, this is Y/N, this is Peter Parker, this is Kuu, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman." Y/N looked at Peter briefly at how he said everything in one sentence without a breath. And the fact he called them "Spider-Woman" instead of what they actually went by. "They're mes from other universes; they're here to help."
The sorcerer could only look at the foreign people standing together so casually. "No, no," he denied what he was seeing under his breath.
"This is the wizard I was telling you about," Peter introduced Doctor Strange to the other spideys.
"Look, I am really impressed that you've managed to give them all a second chance, kid," Doctor Strange admits, but there is no show of him being proud or impress on his face. "But this has to end now."
In the corner of Y/N's eyes, she noticed how Raimi Peter had visible dread on his face. Wide eyes and his head looking down, and the iris in his eyes wavering around. "Can the Spider-Man come out to play?!" a voice yelled out with an echo in the atmosphere. Y/N turned and saw the other missing villain she had not seen since coming here. The Green Goblin. And he was coming in fast. He swoops in, descending towards the top of the scaffolding on his glider, with a swarm of razor-bat Pumpkin Bombs accompanying him. Otto uses his tentacles to crush the bats flying toward Strange. Green Goblin swoops down and steals the box from Strange. Before proceeding, Octavius sends one of his lower tentacles forward, grabbing the glider and holding it in place. Strange conjures a whip and retrieves the box with it. Osborn spins his glider and slashes the tentacle with its blade, severing it, then flies out into the clouds, disappearing. The three spideys' Spider-Sense go off at the same time. Looking at the box, they see a present from the Green Goblin to Doctor Strange. A Pumpkin Bomb lodged in the box.
"Strange, no!"
The explosive goes off, knocking Strange away and destroying a large part of the scaffolding. The shield goes down and falls to the ground. Y/N was blown back and trying to catch herself. But two females were screaming. One was Myra. "Did she not stay?!" Y/N questioned herself as she finally caught herself with a web connecting to the stable scaffolding and swinging around to find Myra. Swinging into the scaffolding to see if she was between it and the statue. And she found Myra falling with the broken pieces with her. Y/N noticed the fear in Myra's eyes as she was reaching for Y/N. A web was sent in Myra's direction. It stuck on Myra's abdomen, and Y/N used her strength to pull Myra up. Her arms wrapped around Myra and twisted their falling bodies. Hence, she was closer to the ground, freeing one hand to send another magic web on the scaffolding and landing on her feet with her legs lowly bending but quickly straightening out. It wasn't noticed Myra's legs were around Y/N until Myra didn't get off. "It's okay; you can step down now." But Myra didn't get off.
Y/N stayed quiet and went to her knees to put Myra down. And Myra let go, and her legs went up to her chest for her arms to wrap around and her chin to rest on top. "Still a hero," Myra mumbled.
No response, and Y/N looked around to see if Kuu was okay. But she wasn't around. Y/N sent a web and jumped to start her swings. "Kuu?!" she called around to see her partner. "Kuu, where you at?!"
"I'm okay!" Kuu called back for Y/N to follow.
She kept moving around till she noticed a pile of broken pieces. "Kuu?" Y/N questioned, landing in front of the pile. "Are you under there?"
"Maybe," Kuu answered, and Y/N went down on one knee and had to lean down with her head rotated to see Kuu under the pile. "Wanna help me out? My good arm can only hold for so long."
"Oh, right," Y/N stood up and began to push and pull pieces of the scaffolding off of Kuu. "You okay?"
Kuu pushed the last piece off her and shook her head like a wet dog. "Dusty," Kuu grumbled, standing up and rolling her shoulders.
"Having stuff fall on me is a bit of a setback." her hand was placed on her lousy shoulder, and she rolled it again. And she looked up, being blinded slightly by the sunrise creating dawn.
"How are you doing with that injury?" Y/N asked, looking around for any other injuries.
"I'm ignoring the pain," Kuu admits, looking away from the sun to Y/N. "I think my injury is not important right now." she looked around for the others but realized it was just them. "We should look for the Peters, huh?"
"Yeah, let's go," Y/N nodded in agreement, and the two began to run around to see if there was any sign of the others. First, they saw Ned and MJ with each other, looking okay. But still no Peters. Her head moved around like a meerkat until she had to glance at the fallen shield. "Kuu!"
Kuu looked over at Y/N and jogged up to stand next to her. She looked at Y/N a little longer, waiting for her to say something, but realized her gaze was the response. Looking in Y/N's direction. Peter was having a standoff with Green Goblin. The two charge and clash, exchanging blows with even more bitterness and rage than before. Peter fires two webs at Green Goblin, which he evades swiftly and swings again. Peter bends down, avoiding the blow, and webs Green Goblin's foot to the surface, then give him an uppercut, sending him to the ground. He then tries to perform a possibly lethal jump slam attack, but Green Goblin frees himself soon enough and rolls over. He rises, pulls a blade from his gauntlet, whistles, and smiles like crazy. The fighting commences again. Peter performs a few shaky evasions before he gets a good hit on Green Goblin, He evades the blade again, but Goblin strikes him in the face with his other hand. "Should we interfere?"
Peter recovers almost instantly, webs Green Goblin's legs to the surface again, and strikes him in the rib, but Green Goblin slashes his arm with one of the spikes sticking out from his armor. Peter violently strikes him in the face, knocking him back. The villain frees himself again, strikes to no avail, and finally loses the upper hand. Peter disarms him, strikes him a couple of times, webs him, and pulls him to his knee, punching him, then grabs him and performs a revenge suplex, ruthlessly throwing his opponent to the ground. "If it gets too much," Y/N responds, her eyes not wavering from the battle. Even when Green Goblin wasn't responding anymore. And Peter just kept sending blow after blow. "This rage was built up for so long."
"Yeah," Kuu agreed. She couldn't deny it. But Peter wouldn't stop. He couldn't stop. He was blinded by rage. "He'll kill Green Goblin." Peter finally stops beating the Goblin and goes to pick up the glider. "Let's go."
Y/N nodded, and the two had a significant long jump onto the shield, seeing Raimi Peter doing the same. They weren't the only ones who noticed when Peter raised the glider over his head. He attempts to bring it down on Green Goblin's head with a rageful scream. The girls sent webs on the back of the glider as Raimi Peter slid in front of Peter and grabbed the glider to add more strength to keep Peter from doing what he would regret. But Peter still needs to understand. Peter tries to push through and reach the Goblin, but Raimi Peter does not let go. Y/N kept her two hands on her web, still pulling hard, and Kuu kept a grip on her web with her good hand. No words or scolds toward Peter. Raimi Peter had only spoken with his eyes, looking at Peter with a plea and understanding what Peter was going through. Green Goblin was from his world. The sincerity on his face was able to calm Peter down. The two lowered the glider and dropped it together.
But there was a pierce through Raimi Peter's torso. And when Green Goblin removed it harshly, Raimi Peter plummets to the ground in silent pain. Y/N and Kuu took no more seconds and ran around Peter and Green Goblin to be on each side of Raimi Peter. They helped him sit up a little bit, only looking over at Green Goblin when he let out a cackling laugh. "She was there. . .because of you," his voice rumbling, still trying to peel Peter down to crack him. "I may have struck the blow, but you. . ." he formed a wicked smile. "You are the one that killed her."
He bursts out another crazy cackle as Peter slowly enrages. The glare coming back. Webb Peter shows up from nowhere and throws Peter the cure, which Peter catches and plunges into Green Goblin's neck. He stops laughing and has a look of horror in his eyes when the serum is released. Peter violently rips out the cure from Green Goblin's neck. The three spideys on the ground watched cautiously as Green Goblin sank to his knees.
And he was no longer Green Goblin.
Only Norman Osborn.
"Peter?" Norman called out in confusion. He turned to look at Raimi Peter in the girls' arms and back at this universe's Peter. Head shaking in denial of the possibilities. "What have I done?"
No one answered him, only an angry stare from Peter as Webb Peter dropped onto the shield and kneeled next to Y/N to check on Raimi Peter. "You okay?" he asked worriedly, looking for other injuries.
Raimi Peter let out a groan before responding. "Yeah, I'm good," he assured. "I've. . .I've been stabbed before."
"Oh, God. Good, good, good," Webb Peter replied in relief.
"Welcome to the club," Kuu joked lightly. Raimi Peter let out a chuckle but groaned when he laughed too hard.
Peter looked over at Kuu, seeing the wound on her chest. "How are you so casual?" he asked, eyes slightly widened from how big the bloodstain was on her suit.
"Ignoring the pain," Kuu repeated her answer again. "Trust me, I'll be staying in bed for a week once the pain hits tomorrow morning." she nudged her head in Y/N's way. "It's her turn for a major injury."
"I never agreed," Y/N winked at her friend as the boys smiled in amusement.
"Hey," Peter turned his head to Webb Peter when he was called to. "Nice catch."
"Nice throw," Peter kept his smile.
But Raimi Peter's smile left when he saw the sky cracking apart to show other realities. "Is. . .is that happening?" he questioned out loud, having the other four look up at the sky to see it. "Or am I dying?"
Webb Peter quickly looked back at Raimi Peter. "No, no, that's happening," he assured.
Was it even assurance? "Are there people in the sky?" Raimi Peter kept questioning.
Y/N's eyes squinted slightly to look at the details in the purple skies. "Those silhouettes don't look friendly," she commented, slowly alarmed at the notice.
"I gotta go," Peter stood up, realizing how bad it was getting. And even with Stephen Strange trying to glue the sky back, more cracks were piercing through the sky.
"Yeah. Yeah, we got him," Webb Peter stated, with the girls nodding along, and Peter ran off in a heartbeat. "Are you okay? Do you think you can get up?"
"I think so," Raimi Peter nodded. Kuu moved out of the way when Webb Peter stood up to move on her side of Raimi Peter to help Y/N raise him to his feet. He groaned but tried to put as much help as possible into planting his feet so Web Peter and Y/N could get him fully standing and his arms around their shoulders.
And they were looking around at the light. The sun has risen, after all. "What do you think will happen?" Webb Peter asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Now that we cured them. . .will our worlds change when we return?" Webb Peter explained his question.
That question got to everyone. "A world with them now cured," Y/N muttered, thinking about the question. "I wouldn't mind seeing Myra being boy-crazy again."
"She's technically a teenager," Kuu reminded. "I don't think they're even from our worlds."
"Well," Raimi Peter had a bittersweet smile. "It was nice to talk to Otto again."
"Same with Max," Webb Peter adds.
But they couldn't think about the "what-ifs" that could happen after they're sent back when Peter dropped down in front of them. And all four of the spiders were already smiling at him. " I-I think this is it," he said excitedly with slight rambles. "I think you're about to go home. But I. . .uh. . .Thank you. I just wanted. . .I wanna tell you that. . .I really don't know how to say this, like--"
"Peter," Webb Peter called out over Peter's ramble.
"I want you to know that I. . ," Peter stopped his ramble when hearing his name.
"You know," Raimi Peter smiled slightly with the reminder. "It's what we do."
"We're your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Men and Spider-Women," Y/N added.
"We never give up," Kuu finished.
Peter was stuttering a bit, moving back away, but he couldn't contain his happiness and jumped into the group with his arms around the girls and his head against the other Peters. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" he repeated. Y/N and Kuu exchanged gazes and smiles, rubbing Peter's back until he stepped away. "I guess I'll see you."
"Keep safe," the four respond in unison.
"Bye," Peter waved goodbye and swung away toward the top of Lady Liberty.
"You two are in so much pain, huh?" Webb Peter asked, his smile not leaving nor his eyes to where they last saw Peter.
"We are," Peter and Kuu responded in unison again.
"Yeah," Y/N huffed out in amusement.
It wasn't long until a glow lined their bodies, having them separate to look at their arms in worry. But it was too bright and too beautiful to be dangerous. They were going home. Y/N looked up to the others as they were slowly becoming transparent. Their smiles became bittersweet.
Sweet because they're going to be home, yet bitter because they have grown close through the hours of meeting.
Bittersweet.
Eyes opened in a blink, and they were back home. Kuu's legs shook, and she almost fell if it wasn't for Y/N. "To the room?" Kuu whispered her question.
"Yeah," Y/N nodded.
They moved quickly to Kuu's room. She grabbed her laptop and sat on her bed. Y/N went to the bathroom to grab the first aid kit and a damp cloth and went into Kuu's room to see her suit halfway off and her black bra in view with the wound above her right breast. She crawled onto the bed to be on Kuu's right and began to wipe the damp cloth around the wound to clean the bloodstains, dirt, and dust off her skin. "No change," Kuu muttered, searching on the internet for Myra to see if there were any recent evidence of her still alive. "I guess she was in another world."
"At least we gave her a second chance," Y/N mumbled, removing the cloth to see the progress. Still some stains. She got up and walked to the bathroom to wring the damp cloth of watery blood dripping into the sink before she grabbed another cloth to dampen it. "Hopefully, she will be happy."
"I don't think she will," Kuu murmured, feeling the bed deep again and a wet cloth around her wound. "I thought she was from our world. To change it with her around." she clicked on an old Instagram post by Myra, looking at how happy she was with three friends. "But then she said she thought she killed me." her eyes didn't waiver from the picture, and Y/N was catching on to what she was saying. Her hand stopped before continuing to clean around the wound before putting it down. "What if she was moved to that world when she killed me."
Y/N's lips thinned, hands grabbing a needle and thread. "And then I would've killed her from rage," she continued the theory they were building together on what happened in that world. "Now that she is back there. . .I can only hope that me in that world will give her mercy if she returns to the moment she killed you."
"New York is probably not ready for an anti-hero," Kuu hummed out the joke. But she winced when feeling the needle pierce through her skin. "I am so not ready for the pain."
"Adrenaline still going?" Y/N asked with her brows slightly scrunched.
"Who knows, I'm not ready for the major pain," Kuu kept her eyes from the needle and continued to go on the internet. And something dinged in her head. "Hey, look, they got some fanart right."
A curious sound left Y/N as she paused with the stitching and leaned down to see the "Male Cosmic and Star" fanart in the Google images. They looked like Raimi Peter. Looking like his costume design was the original design. "Ahh, even calling him 'Spider-Man.' If only they knew there were two other Peters." They kept looking at their male genderbend art and stories about how it would've been if this world had a Spider-Man that was a mixture of the two.
And the sound of a door opened, but they were too into a story. Kuu was reading it to Y/N as she was still stitching up Kuu's wound. The wound was slightly big--Kijo did not hold back at all. So it was a bit of stitching to help Kuu's ability to heal faster.
The two paused, suddenly feeling eyes on them. They slowly turned their heads to see shocked Jungkook and Taehyung in Kuu's doorway. "Hey," the girls greeted together. Acting as if being covered in bits of blood, dirt dust all over them--still in their suits--casually sitting on Kuu's back and looking at the boys.
"You guys are. . .back?" Jungkook lightly stated in a questioning tone.
"Yeah,"
"But, where did you guys go?" Taehyung questioned them. "We couldn't find you anywhere."
Y/N and Kuu shared eye contact for a split second. "New York," Y/N answered, speaking out about the city named after the state. And she went back to the stitches.
"We met three Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Men," Kuu added casually, looking back at her laptop. The mouse had clicked on another story.

Lost in You (Namjoon x Reader)
Pairing: Namjoon x reader
Genre: Fluffy and then Angst
Word Count: About 2.7k
Warnings: Major character death, some drinking
A drink, that’s how it all started. A simple trip to a club with his members left him broken-hearted today. You went to that club on that very day, clothes so tight, and back oh so bare. A holy being. An angel. That’s what he thought you were. After that day, Namjoon found out that the sexy allure to you was a mere wave, not the real you, but still part of you.
Namjoon had found you after that night in the library near the dorms, a place he frequented. Apparently, you too had often come there, for “peace and quiet” as he quoted. Namjoon finds himself attracted to you, unable to take his eyes off you. Whenever he got the chance, Namjoon would try his luck at the library, hoping to catch you.
It has been weeks now. He always saw you in his free time, to the point, he had all of you memorized. The way you laugh, your shy smile, and your gentle voice burns into his mind, leaving its mark. His days now are surrounded by you. Everything he does, it revolves around you.
Love. Love for someone he never knew the name of. Love for someone who potentially didn’t know he exists. Namjoon had you on his mind 24/7. You were his sun, as you were his stars. You were his burning passion, as you were his calming peace. You were his muse, the many songs written just for you.
Pining, that all Namjoon thought it would be. His love would be unrequited until he moved on. How is it possible to fall so deep for someone, without ever talking to them? All of that changed when you had bumped into him. The way you profusely apologize to him while picking up your fallen books, yet not once making eye contact with him. Namjoon found it endearing and helps you pick up your books. A brush of hands is enough to send him into overload. Carefully, Namjoon helps you carry your books towards your table and set them down.
You thanked him and asked if he wanted anything in return. He waved it off but, when he was about to return to his seat, a book in your stash had caught his eyes. It was a book he had read before. To Namjoon, the book gave him thoughts he could never imagine. To see you reading it, he felt happy that you somewhat share the same book tastes as him. Namjoon asked you about the book, only to see you bursting with happiness to see that someone else enjoyed it too.
Both of you talked about it for hours. From your separate theories in the book to challenging the other’s theory. And before Namjoon knew it, it was past time for him to go back to the dorms. Namjoon used this chance to ask for your number, claiming that he wanted to discuss other books and theories with you. And doing so, he came back to the dorms with a smile on his face, dimples proudly showing.
~
You two talked with each other over the phone when one was free and often scheduled library meet-ups. Books after books went to be discussed yet they weren’t the only topic you talked about. Little by little, Namjoon found out more and more about you. You were shy in your nature but fierce when it comes to certain things. You had more than one time impressed Namjoon with your confidence in books but also in other things.
Namjoon kept to himself about seeing you at the club. He thought it wasn’t necessary for you to know, but always wondered, “Why are you different?” He came to know that you are an acting major at a rather prestigious university. Though you were an ace on stage, in costume, you aren’t quite a bold nut usually.
Time passed on and you both couldn’t help your feelings. Love was always in Namjoon, even before he had interacted with you. You, on the other hand, hid all of your feelings in your heart.
When you became confident enough, you invited Namjoon to one of your plays. He was ecstatic to come. Carefully, he snuck out of the dorms and stayed quiet to avoid any media attraction. Namjoon sat in the seat you had prepared for him. A front row view of the play that was about to start.
You came out as a dashing knight, no longer the shy person he knew. The suit of armor on you looked fantastic, but not as much as he preferred the usual hoodies on you. With your acting, Namjoon felt as if he is a spectator to something other worldly. The beautiful display of sword fighting and the grandeur of horse riding leads him right into a fantasy world. With each of your strategically placed steps, Namjoon couldn’t help but in awe of the amazing performance.
Once the play ended, he couldn’t help but showered you with compliments. Though you denied it, he still believes that you are the most talented person he had ever come to know of. You and him took a stroll around the area after you were out of your costume. The conversation flowed smoothly between you two, leaving no moment of silence. This was what Namjoon wanted. A friend, a crush or a partner that could be like him. A person that cared for him so much, without knowing who he actually is.
Then, it slipped from him. A simple “I love you” served as a confession to a relationship that he wished to last. After hearing those three words, you flushed red from what he said. Namjoon was worried that you would reject him, ending what he and you had now. But barely audible, an “I love you too” came from you. Namjoon excitedly captured your lips in a chaste kiss. That was the beginning of your story together.
After confessing and getting to date you, Namjoon had one major thing to figure out. How was he going to tell you that he was an idol? You too had loved music but, because you were from America originally, with Taylor Swift and other American artists being the only ones on your playlist. After a while of thinking, he decided to come clean to his members about what has been going on these few months and ask for their help.
When telling them, some were shocked but others had suspected it. They were more than happy for their leader and agreed to help. Eventually, they came up with a plan to tell you the news once you become familiar with the rest of the BTS members. They knew they couldn’t let you find out first, because if you did, it might end up a little bit too messy for their liking.
The next day that they were free, Namjoon had asked you to meet and familiarize his friends. He snuck you to the dorms and had you meet the rest. Each of the members introduce themselves to you as you shyly bow in a respectful manner. Though the air was stuffy at first, a few of Jin’s dad jokes and Yoongi’s savage comments got you melted in with the bunch.
After the successful visit, Namjoon brought this up to Bang PD-nim. He knew that he was going to be scolded but PD-nim was rather understanding. He wished Namjoon good luck with his relationship and asked him to be aware of the media. Now, with everything out of the way, Namjoon invited you out to one of his concerts, as a date. He texted you that he was going to be late on that day but will be showing up.
~
When you arrived at the concert, you couldn’t believe how big it was. There were probably over ten thousand people present and you couldn’t imagine how big these artists are. You get a text from Namjoon that he was going to be late and that you should go ahead.
Going into the stadium however, you were escorted by a staff member to go backstage. Although confused, you followed and waited in the artist’s room as asked. Only a few moments later, the door once again opens, this time revealing Namjoon. You ran up to him and hugged him. He told you to sit down while he explained some things. You find out that he is actually the idol performing today.

Namjoon was nervous. He didn’t know how you would react to this news. After all, you were still only human. Maybe this news would be the end of your relationship together or the beginning of a stronger one. He really hoped it was the latter.
Namjoon’s wish came true as you accepted him for who he is. From that day on, you guys were each other's biggest supporters. He was there when you got your first acting job. You were there when BTS got nominated for a Grammy. Together, you guys made the ultimate power couple.
However, your happiness was a story without the proper ending. During an outdoor shoot for a K-Drama starring you, a major accident happens. The streets were supposed to be closed for the shoot but a wild car pushed in. The driver was drunk and couldn’t see you in front of the car. You ran, trying to get out of danger. The driver turned the steering wheel and headed straight into you.
~
Mid-way through the photoshoot, Namjoon got an urgent call from your manager. He was informed about your condition and headed for the hospital. This was bad, a direct hit. The driver had died on the spot and you were knocked unconscious immediately. Even though you are still alive, there are various internal injuries along with external ones too.
Namjoon headed straight into the OR and got there just in time to see you get pushed into the surgery room. He stands there, looking at the neon sign “Operating”. All he could do was pray. The only thing he wants is for you to come back, unharmed.
The rest of BTS came into the hospital a few moments later. All of them were just as nervous as Namjoon. You were their precious friend, a sister to them. They’ve seen how happy Namjoon has been with you, and from the bottom of their heart, they don’t want to see you two apart. The last thing they want is to lose a close friend, and the bright smile of their leader.
The time ticked through slowly as each sound of the clock in the hospital drove Namjoon more and more off the edge. What seemed like an hour, lasted a minute. What seemed like an eternity, lasted an hour.
After a long surgery, you were finally rolled out of the operating room. Still unconscious, but looking just as he remembered. You were transferred into your private room and were hooked up to many devices. He could see the rhythm of your heart beating. The doctors approached him, to tell him the news.
The news was long, a complete update on your health. Due to crashing directly, being crashed by a car, and being thrown into a nearby pole, your brain had suffered the damages. The doctors had tried their best to revive you but you could only be kept alive physically, not mentally.
That was when Namjoon had lost it. He wanted to thrash out, yell at the doctor for not saving you. But all he could do was to drop to his knees, facing away from the rest of his members, and weep. That’s all he did for the next several days. He had lost what he loved most and learned what true pain felt like.
Namjoon stayed in your hospital room for almost a month, taking a break from his idol’s duties. He never once went through social media, and with every fiber of his being, stayed with you. He would feed you through the tube, look at your heartbeat, and touch you, as if you weren’t dead. His hyungs and dongsaengs often came for him, to check up on him. They knew this pain was something that should be lived out, not something you should hide.
~
After the month, Namjoon had to do the most difficult thing of his life, cut off your oxygen supply. This was the only way to move on, to let you leave in peace. With all of his members by his side, giving him all of the support he needed, he brought his fingers up to your oxygen path. All he had to do was to hold the passageway shut for a few minutes, and the task was done.
He held the tube but couldn’t bring himself to squeeze it shut. He collapsed, not knowing what to do anymore. Namjoon felt a hand placed on him. He looked up to see Yoongi, looking at him with painful eyes. Yoongi’s hand comforted him and gave him strength. He looked to the rest of his members, all there to help him. Hoseok initiated the group hug, putting Namjoon in the middle of it. Jin held Namjoon’s other hand as the three maknae gathered behind him.
Yoongi said to Namjoon, “Just do it, the more you drag it out, the more that it’s going to hurt. We love her too Namjoon, but never will it be as much as you. End it, please, before any pain is added, to you, and to us.”
Namjoon nodded, understanding. With all of his strength, he squeezed the passageway shut, whispering “goodbye” to you. He watched as your heart monitor went crazy before it flatlined. It was over, everything had come to its end.
~
Namjoon returned to his task as the leader of a worldwide group. His smiles are no longer as bright as before. For the first few months, he threw himself into work, composing song after song, and spoke with fake enthusiasm. He wanted to put his best for ARMY, but he couldn’t bring himself to do such a thing.
One day, he fell asleep while composing and dreamt of you. You had come back to him after the shoot, everything normal and fine. But that blissful dream broke as you spoke to him. You had been watching him from where you were, disappointed by his action.
Softly you spoke to him, “Namjoon, I can see you. Although you can’t see me, I am always by your side. Please, perform for your fans as if you are performing for me. I’ll be at every concert, every interview, and every event to cheer for you. Live on for me, do the things I couldn’t, okay?”
Namjoon held you, “If that is your wish, I’ll do so. But I want you to know, I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for being by me.”
~
And with that, Namjoon woke up with more determination than ever. He decided to fulfill your wish. He went to Bang PD-nim to ask about publicizing his relationship. Although PD-nim was against it at first, he understood why this had to happen. Later that day, an official statement was released by Big Hit regarding the relationship. Even though ARMY was shocked, they now know why Namjoon was so down.
With the knowledge being public, he organized your funeral and invited your close friends. Everyone could see that Namjoon was better now, but the pain never left him. He continued on, talking about you with such fondness that everyone could tell how much he loved you. It pained ARMY to see him like this, but were very glad that Namjoon could now talk about it.
As a special present for you, on your birthday, he released a song about you. It covered how happy he felt with you, and his journey with thoughts on being without you. He sang it with all of his emotions, giving his best just like you had asked.
~
Now, every time an anniversary rolled around, he would visit the library you two first interacted at, and the club you two first met. A drink for you, to celebrate your anniversary, first date, first interaction. It felt like a way to remember you, to show you that you are still in his heart. Maybe one day, he would join you and you both would drink while reading, together.
~
“If I knew what will happen,
I would have prevented it.
Maybe like that,
I would live without regretting it.”
