They serve you the authentic Indian cuisine from the history. Have you ever imagined yourself in a situation where you are told about the history of the food you are about to try. There is this Gentleman Mr. Bhaskar Menon who is so passionate about food that he will tell you everything about the type of cuisine they serve. It was great knowing things that I did not had any idea about. . Firstly, Mr. Bhaskar surprised us with a round of drinks that we had to sip and guess the ingredients which were spices, fruits and veggies, strictly no colours and preservatives. . Then as per his recommendations we ordered “Veg Chapshoro” and “Shulla Pulao” and my taste buds are satisfied but craving for more . Chapshoro is a popular dish among Hunza people in the Valley of Gilgit- Baltistan, cooked with apricot oil. It was served with salad which was not our modern lettuce but spinach (palak) with tomato . . I loved every bit of it, from taste to food presentation . We were then complimented with 2 desserts- Kheer and Indra’s Favourite . Indra’s Favourite is a dessert that is a Vedic dish mentioned in Rigveda. . So if you are in Gurgaon, head towards @hawkerstreetindia Ambience Mall and visit @mala.akbari and learn about the authentic Indian cuisine , first of its kind.
