A wish, a dream, the only thing he has to look forward to. Death. Oh, the sweet embrace of death, no worries, no noise, just nothing. But how his world bled colour for the first time in years made his vision just a tad bit clearer.

That laughter he loved to hear, your sweet voice that was a beautiful melody to his ears. Your eyes that he'd so easily get lost in, lips he'd never want to stop kissing. Every touch, every sound, every sight he draws in. Engraves it into his mind. As long as it has to do with you, as long as it is you, he'll gladly live a little longer.

Hands linked together, steps in sync, heartbeat in sync. Things he'll cherish. A blessing to his life is what you are. An angel sent down from heaven. He wonders why and how you're so kind and generous, so angelic but still have your limits, so sweet and endearing.

Moonlight trickled into the room, coating it in a relaxing, calm atmosphere. It was quiet, but not the quiet in which it drives you insane, but the peaceful one. Cool air brushed over your and Dazai’s bodies in a slow motion like low palm tree leaves dusting the sand on the ground.

This was nice. For once, it wasn’t a scorching hot night or a stressful one, it was just perfect. Dazai would agree too as he held your form with his arms wrapped around you, as if never wanting to let go but loose enough to let you feel comfortable.

The long sleeve of his blue sleep shirt tickled your waist as he managed to push your shirt up a little by trying to pull you towards his chest. His face had a little smile drawn on it. Messy hair falling over his eyes a little. You hummed in content, it was one of those nights in bed that it is seemed peaceful, which was a somewhat rarity by now.

You felt his soft lips peck your head with a gentle kiss, he rested his chin atop your head. “I wish this could last forever.” he commented, his voice low due to how lazy he felt because of how cozy it was. “Me too.” you smiled.

Little ripples were created on the bed sheet and the thin blanket covering you both, like when droplets of rain hit the water sliding across the ground. “I thought you’d be asleep by now.” “I could say the same for you.” he lazily grinned.

Smiling softly you turned around to face him, his arms never moving, only tightening once you fully turned. You looked at him, his coffee eyes, a deep trench full of secrets. But at this moment, it seemed like hot chocolate, warm and gentle. He moved his hand upwards toward your hair, running his fingers through it, you closed your eyes momentarily.

You loved this. His smile only grew wider and you were greeted by it once you opened your eyes again. “You’re really beautiful Belladonna, you know that?”

You giggled, “Thanks Osamu, you always remind me.” “Of course, such a beautiful being needs to be reminded constantly of their stunning beauty.” he said dramatically retreating his hand from your hair and placing it on his forehead.

Moving yourself closer to him, you snuggled up to him and placed your head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around you again, his warmth better than the coziest blanket on earth. Yes, you really do wish this could last forever.
