Vash's Moving Castle (Vash x Reader)

Plot: A strange building made up of old spaceship parts, moving around on two legs across the wasteland of the desert, it hisses and creaks and fills the heart of many with fear... That castle is home to the magnificent tech wizard Vash, infamous for both his gunmanship and for being a womanizer—or so the rumor goes in your city. You're the eldest child of a gunsmith and as such don't expect much from your future. However, your simple life takes a turn for the exciting when you're ensnared in a disturbing situation, and the mysterious tech wizard appears to rescue you.

Pairing: Vash x mostly GN Reader, occasional she/her pronouns, the use of "girl" etc from quotes directly from the movie. I tried making it completely GN, but my flu ridden brain short circuited on some very specific parts so I gave up.

Author's Note: Got the idea yesterday, yall seemed interested and the flu ridden brainrot I had to endure all day today was simply debilitating so I wrote a little something. I hope you like it, not sure if I will continue or not even though I have quite a few HC-s for this little AU situation.

The 6th city, May, is decorated more than usual. After all, May Day has arrived. Even though it is still early in the afternoon, the streets are bustling with people. The aroma of baked goods reaches your nose through your open window, and it makes you think about your sister, Meryl, who is working at the very popular doughnut shop on the other side of the city. She must be very busy today with the rush of customers coming in for their celebratory pastries. For you, it's a free day. Today, your little weapon's repair shop, which you inherited from your father, is closed. You decide to take advantage of the downtime and visit your sister, whom you haven't seen in a long time.

You put aside the little handgun you have been tinkering with and stand to close the window. Your little shop is situated quite high, and the workshop has the perfect view to look out over the roofs of all the other houses. Your eyes glance over the familiar sight—the scrappy buildingd made out of old spaceship parts and in the distance, you see the wide open desert. But today it is slightly different. You heard the commotion this morning when the people first noticed the addition to the landscape. With fearful and hushed voices, they talked about the monstrocity looming on the horizon and the kind of calamity it might bring.

"It is Vash's Moving Castle!" The people on the streets whispered and pointed. "Do you think the horrible Typhoon has come to lay waste to our city?"

You knew very well the rumors about the gunslinger and tech wizard named Vash the Stampede. He is said to be a ruthless demon specializing in murder and wide-scale destruction. Apparently, he kills without mercy—men, women, and children alike. He has wiped whole towns from the face of the planet, and his infamous castle is created with the sole purpose of being a weapon of mass destruction.

As you pull the window closed, you look at the mass of metal outside of town. Calling it a castle is a gross overstatement. You can't imagine how such a heap of scrap gets to be called anything so magnificent. It consists of layers upon layers of old spaceship parts, jutting out at odd angles and covered in rust and wires, its massive turrets and spires reaching towards the sky. It has two large legs underneath it, much like a tomas, that the building uses to move across the desert. This is not the first time Vash's fortress has passed by May City, and you think the excitement is unwarranted. Sure, the gunslinger has a reputation, but nothing catastrophic has happened so far. You can't help but wonder why everyone gets so worked up every time the castle passes by; he would surely go to the bank or somewhere else where he can get easy money. You are just a small shop owner; as long as you don't get in his way, it seems unlikely he would take any interest in you. He might be a womanizer, but he only has eyes for pretty girls.

You get quickly ready and close the shop. The streets are decorated with colorful ribbons, and you hear cheers coming from all over town as the annual parade begins. You have chosen a truly awful moment to try and make your way across the city, but you are determined to see Meryl. As you push through the crowded streets, you catch glimpses of the parade. People are showing off their inventions and talents. You see giant hydraulic pants marching down the street. Exo-suits and new kinds of weaponry. On other streets, you see entertainers dancing and singing in colorful costumes. Some are juggling fire, and others are performing daring acrobatics. This world truly is a marvel.

You make it to the gondolas and squeeze into one with some other people. It takes you over the winding roads, and you see the flags and market stalls lining the streets. The smell of freshly cooked food wafts up to you as you take in the sights and sounds of the bustling marketplace. May is filled with all kinds of people; for days, the sandsteamers have brought in travelers from all over, and it shows. The whole city is alive with excitement and energy.

You get off your ride on the slightly calmer side of the town, and you know the familiar route you need to take to get to the doughnut shop. The quiet side streets are nearly empty; just a few people mingle on the sidewalks. You try to avoid them as much as possible and turn to an even smaller ally as a group of drunkards head your way. You hold your breath and hope they don't notice you, looking nervously over your shoulder as you hurry along.

"Hey, it looks like a little mouse lost its way," you suddenly hear, and as you look back ahead, you see you nearly ran into a man who has just come around the corner. He is grinning mischievously, blocking your path. He is a lot taller than you, and you can see his rifle slung across his back. Surely he is a bounty hunter; you see them a lot, and with all the people flowing into town, you would think they have their hands full.

"Oh, no. I'm not lost," you say, shaking your head and recoiling a bit, leaning away from the man.

"This little mouse looks thirsty. We should take her for a cup of tea." The man continues like he didn't hear you at all. You try sidestepping him, but as you do, a second man appears from behind him. He is just as large with a big mustache, and he looks at you curiously as he leans closer, blocking your way further.

"No thanks. My sister's expecting me." You avoid looking directly at them, instead trying to think of a way to escape. They make you very uncomfortable.

"She's pretty cute for a mouse." You try to keep your cool and find a way to politely excuse yourself from the situation, but the mustashed man is leaning even closer, his face level with yours.

"How old are you anyway? You live around here?" The first guy leans toward you too. Neither of them sounds menacing, but they fill you with dread.

"Leave me alone!" you say with as much bravery as you can muster, taking a step backwards.

"You see? Your mustache scares all the girls," the first man nudges his comrade.

"So? I think she's even cuter when she's scared." the other replies, not taking his eyes off you.

"There you are, sweetheart." A different, smooth male voice speaks up behind you, capturing the gaze of the bountyhunters before you. "Sorry, I'm late. I was looking everywhere for you."

He speaks close to your left ear, and a hand gently rests on your right shoulder. It's not a voice you recognize, and his touch makes you stiffen up. Your body had been ready to run for your life, but now you find yourself sandwitched between two unknowns. Yet something about the man behind you is comforting, or maybe it's just that you see the upset glint in the eyes of the men before you.

"Hey! Hey! We're busy here!" The man you had run into first speaks and looks like he is puffing himself up to look more menacing. His companion, too, straightens his back, ready for a violent confrontation.

"Are you really? It looked to me like the two of you were just leaving." The calm voice beside you speaks with a hint of amusement. You feel him shift slightly, but you don't turn your eyes away from the bounty hunters in front of you. You see their gazes move over the man, their eyes widening at something where his left arm would be, and you see them freeze up and then nudge each other. They look very uncomfortable.

"This is not worth it," one of them whispers nervously to the other.

"Yeah, we better get going," the other answers with a whisper, and they start to shuffle away from you, back into the alley they had come from. As they get further away, their step hastens until they take off running. You watch them disappear into the darkness, wondering what caused them to have such a reaction.

"Don't hold it against them," the soft voice next to you says, and you finally turn to look at him. He is a tall young man with a soft smile on his lips. You see his pretty blue eyes behind orange tinted round glasses, and his blonde hair is about shoulder length. A tight golden hoop hangs from his left ear. He is truly very handsome, and his expression is warm and inviting. He wears a pillowy white blouse that flows down to his slender waist. A pendant hangs from his neck, and a red coat covers his shoulders, but his arms are not in the sleeves.

"They aren't actually all that bad," he says, continuing his thought from before, and his eyes capture your gaze again. "Where to? I'll be your escort this evening."

"Oh, I'm, um, just going to the doughnut shop." You pull back a little from his closeness, but feel his hand firmly on your shoulder.

"Don't get alarmed, but I'm being followed," he says, leaning closer to you. His hand moves from your shoulder and instead hooks around your arm. "Act normal."

You avert your eyes, but he ignores your awkwardness completely and starts walking along the street with your arm intertwined with his, like it's totally normal. Your body is still stiff, a slight fear lingering in the back of your mind, yet this is exciliating in a way you never expected. You find yourself surprisingly comfortable in his presence, despite the fact that he is a total stranger. His pace is somewhat brisk, but you can easily keep up. The unknown of who could be following him is a bit frightening, and you find yourself pressing into his upper arm for reassurance.

As you walk past some dark and narrow alleys, you start to suddenly hear commotion.

"There he is! Go! Hurry!" You hear shouting, and it sends a shiver up your spine. Yet the man beside you keeps the same pace and, for the moment, seems unbothered.

"Sorry. It looks like you're involved," he says calmly as you try to glance into the alleys where the commotion stems from. You see a mob of gunslingers squeeze themselves hurriedly into the narrow gap between the buildings and start to rush towards you. It is frightening to you, and you grab a tighter hold of the man's arm. Your right hand grasps his shirt, your heart pounds in fear as your body stiffens. More voices start to echo from up ahead, and a few people stumble onto your street.

"This way!" he whispers insistently, and the man pulls you into a side alley, his pace getting faster as he leads you away from the gathering crowd. You struggle to keep up with him so you have to start running, your mind racing with questions, but you hold onto him tightly, and you feel certain that everything will be alright. He keeps going faster and faster, and you can see the main street ahead, but suddenly your view gets blocked by more armed men appearing to block our path. You feel a surge of panic rising in your chest, and the reassuring hand sliters out from your weakened cluth as you have trouble holding on while you run.

"Come on!" The mystery man's voice is soft and insistent, with a hint of amusement as you feel his arm wrap around your waist, both of you running straight towards the angry looking mob. You see that some of them have drawn their guns and have them pointed straight at you, but the thundering footsteps behind you tell you that they are unlikely to shoot here in this narrow alley to avoid hitting anybody else. Your confidence in getting out of here wavers, but suddenly you are tightly pulled against the man's side, and his other hand takes yours. It feels cold and hard; you catch a glimpse of blue, but you are too distracted by the fact that your feet are no longer on the cobbled street. You rush through the air, seemingly kept up by the mysterious blonde.

Instinctively, you curl up, looking around for an explanation. The coat that covered his shoulders before hangs over his left arm, and from his back protrubes a pair of giant feathery wings. You've never seen anything like this. Is this a new invention? Has he come here to present his masterpiece to the masses during the parade? Who is this man? He has to be a brilliant inventor. Your mind is captivated by him; you want to understand his mysterious contraption, and your gaze moves along him, down his left arm, and you see it's not a real arm at all; it is made out of strange blue metal, the hand holding yours is made out of the same material. The forearm is mostly covered by his coat, but you're sure that everything from at least his elbow down is a prosthesis; the rest is hidden by the flowy sleeve. You feel his fingers move so organically that you're sure this must be lost technology. What a strange man! You've never seen anything like this.

"Now, straighten your legs and hold on tight," you hear the man say gently, and you follow his command. You relax your legs and grab tightly onto him. His strong arm around you presses you into his side, and you wrap your legs with one of his to make sure you cannot slip away from his grasp and plummet to your death.

You are still mesmerized by his wings, how large they are as they stretch out behind him, allowing him to fly effortlessly through the air. You feel a rush of adrenaline as you soar higher. The streets beneath you look so small; people are just specs moving around. You let out a gasp of amazement, and it makes the strange man chuckle. He flies you both over some rooftops, and you see the familiar doughnut shop come into view.

"You're a natural." You hear him praise you, but to you, it makes little sense; all you do is hold onto him for dear life. But you can't deny the exhilarating rush of flying through the sky. You have never felt so free. The wind whips through your hair as you soar above the city. You feel like you could touch the clouds. You relax a little bit in his grasp, hearing his feathers rustle in the wind as they allow you to glide through the air. To your surprise, very few people pay any attention to you. Most of them are too focused on the parade passing by. The ones who did notice you stared in awe, not believing their eyes or perhaps mistaking you for a worm.

You get closer and closer to the familiar shop, and you realize he is aiming for the second floor balcony. He lands gracefully on the bannister and gently guides you onto the floor, like you weigh nothing at all. His hand holds onto yours for a little longer as he bows closer.

"I'll make sure to draw them off, but wait a bit before you head back outside." His voice is low and gentle, with a soft smile dancing on his lips and in the glimmer of his eyes.

"Okay," you say, still stunned by what had just happened. Your fingers gently grip his as he straightens up and pulls his hand from you. His wings fold down behind his back and disappear before he takes his coat and drapes it over his shoulders.

"That's my girl," he says with a low and husky voice, a hint of pride in it. He smiles brightly and takes a step back, making you gasp as he falls into nothingness. You rush to peek over the railing, only to find that he has disappeared into the crowd with no hint of anyone noticing him at all, so he must be alright. You breathe a sigh of relief, grateful that he is safe.

You linger on the balcony for a little while longer. It all seems too incredible to be true—almost magical. Never would you have thought something like this could happen to you; you are so used to your dull life of being the eldest, but then again, that's what it means to be a responsible and reliable older sibling. Or perhaps you have caught some nasty disease and are just imagining all this during a fever dream. Either way, you enjoyed this. The realization prods you in the side as you remember that you didn't even ask the gentleman's name. Perhaps you will get lucky and see him introducing his invention at a parade in the future. Or perhaps this encounter will just remain a peculiar memory in the back of your mind.

You turn to enter the hallway and see a wide-eyed young woman staring back at you. She is frozen, like she has seen a ghost, and she looks at you with a hint of mistrust.

"Hello," you say, trying to strike up a conversation. "I'm here to see Meryl; she's my little sister. I'm sorry to have just barged in to the staff's quarters. Could you tell her I'm here? I'm in no rush; I'll wait till she has time."

She still stares at you and seems too frozen to say anything, only giving you a stiff nod and heading downstairs, where you hear a lot of commotion. You turn back to look out the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of the man again, but he's nowhere to be seen. The sweet smell of doughnuts and jam fills your nose as you patiently wait for your sister.

You fall deep into thought, only to be awoken by some loud running footsteps heading your way and Meryl's voice calling out your name. She rushes to you and grabs your hands, so you turn to face her.

"Meryl!" you say with slight apprehension as you see the surprise in her face.

"What's going on? Someone just told me you flew down into our balcony!" She says it with disbelief. It takes you a moment to process her words before responding.

"So that did happen. That wasn't a dream," you say with a mix of confusion and sadness. You hear a different voice speak to Meryl as you turn your gaze out the window again, not registering what they talk about. You relive everything that has happened to you within the last half hour in your head, trying to commit every detail to memory. Meryl looks at you with concern as you look away so apathetically and then drags you with her to the backrooms of the kitchen to sit down with you on some boxes in the storage room. She presses you until you open up and tell her everything about your track here and the strange man who saved you.

"Wow! He must have been an inventor then!" Meryl exclaims as you finish your story with how he disappeared into the crowd.

"But he was so kind to me. He rescued me, Meryl."

"Of course he did! He was trying to seduce you! You are so lucky! If that inventor was Vash, he would have done much worse right then and there! He is an awful womanizer!"

"No, he wouldn't. Vash only does that to beautiful girls."

"Ah, don't give me that! You need to be more careful! It's dangerous out there! Even the infamous Millions Knives is back on the prowl." She looks at the side of your face and leans closer. "Are you listening?"

But you are so consumed by your thoughts, you barely realize what she is saying. Your gaze had been fixed by a giant tub of custard.

"Huh?" You finally turn to face your sister again.

"Argh!" Meryl lets out a disgruntled sigh. You see it from her face that she's about to start lecturing you, but a young man informing her about a new batch of dougnuts being done saves you from it.

"Okay! I'll be right there!" She turns a touch more cheerfully toward the cook.

"Alright! I better get going then. I just wanted to make sure you were doing okay." You stand up, ready to leave, to both avoid getting Meryl into trouble and getting an earful from her about the horrible danger that is lurking outside the city walls.

Meryl sees through you immediately but chooses not to lecture you this time on that topic. She leads you to the backdoor, where a man is carrying bags of flour.

"Now," Meryl comes close to you again. "Do you really want to spend the rest of your life in that gunshop?"

"The shop was just so important to father, and I'm the eldest! I don't mind." You try to keep your tone cheerful as you look into her concerned face. But deep down, you know her words stir something up.

"I'm not asking what father would have wanted. I want to know what you want," she continues insistently.

"Well," you start to answer, not sure about what to say, but the man who carried in the flour comes back to say goodbye to Meryl, and your sister turns to him to wave goodbye. You take the opportunity to start to walk away and say, "I better get going."

"It's your life! Do something for yourself for once, will you?" she says, hoping that you will finally prioritize your own happiness.

"Bye, Meryl!" you say over your shoulder with a slight smile as you head home. Your head is still filled with a million thoughts, and Meryl only added to them. Yet you are glad she seems happy with her new life after she left your family's gunshop. You can't help but wonder if you'll ever find the same peace and contentment. But it matters little; you're the eldest, and you have a duty.

Grim opens you coffin and finds you holding a crying baby then slowly closes it

both you and ya kid have your own robes and Grim tries to convince you to him him your baby's.

Crowley passes out thinking that the black carriage just picked up two kids and your parents were going to sue him all to hell

then you tell him that its your child and he's all better

cause you can't sue him :).

Grim always refers to himself when around the baby as uncle Grim

he will cry if the bbys first words aren't his name.

The ghost will babysit for you a lot, their its unofficial godparents

they also like to put the baby back to sleep when they cry I the middle of the night.

Train gives you some pointers on random parenting things, he also is happy to last minute babysit for you when you have pop quizzes or anything like that

same with most of the other teachers,

Vargas will do little baby exercises with them while you run laps or wtf you have to do that day

Crowley would offer to help, but please be my the responsible choice and never leave him alone with your child.

You two are always welcome to unbirthday parties, Trey will make baby food for them or baby friendly foods he also will be happy to teach you how to properly brush their teeth

Deuce and Ace love playing and entertaining them, Cater take so many pics of them

Riddle tries his best to get along with the baby but it's very awkward, which is also rly cute.

Take them to Leona and he'll throw yall out, he already has one brat to deal with he doesn't want another.

Ruggie will give you some easy food recopies for you to make that the baby can have

Jack will babysit in the early mornings on occasion by taking them out for a run with him in one of those chest/back strap things.

Do not on any occasion let Floyd hold your baby, he will throw them up into outer space!

Jade will try to give them some mushrooms so just to be safe keep your distance with him too

Azul will have war type flashbacks from seeing you chubby baby.

Kalim is spoiling the shit out of your child, he's also happy to babysit he's got more experience then most with how many little siblings he has

Jamil doesn't mind being around the mushy thing if it's not annoying.

Epel LOVES them! their just the right amount of chaos he needs to stay sane, plus they might remind him of some of the kids in his family or home town

Rook is another happy babysitter, likes to put his hat on them even though its way to big for them

keep the tf away from Vil, on his request

especially if they have ever or have come close to fucking up his makeup or hair or anything like that.

Ortho enjoys playing with them, he thinks their so interesting, also would love to hang out with them but Idia refuses to allow kids

especially babies

anywhere near his room.

Be carful, Lilia might try to adopt them, maybe both of you and he'll be a grandpa

he hasn't decided yet

he also might try and teach them to call him grandpa and Silver uncle

also for some reason, prob the animals that are always around him, your kid loves Silver

Sebek contently makes your baby cry cause of how loud he is, he also yells/scolds at them if they ever cry while Lilia or Malleus hold them

Malleus is basically their unofficial dad, he adores them and spending time with them, even giving them gifts

not just toys tho like things they need

this man even reads parenting books!

fuck after a while he might even start a collage fund for them.

Just wants to be close to you sometimes. And if you are busy he is happy to just be near you while you do your thing. For example when you’re talking with a friend or a family member on the phone whilst lying down Arthur will come and lie down, face on your stomach so that he doesn’t bother you, but can satisfy his craving for your presence. If you start absent-mindedly running your hand through his hair he might just purr.

Talking of hair. Arthur’s hair is especially fluffy in the morning and you have to hold yourself back from touching it every time. Until he tells you that he likes his hair played with it. From then on it is fair gameeee.

Appreciates little, random things about you. From little gestures you do when you are nervous to your favorite type of flowers, birds, sweets etc. Once told you that your handwriting was adorable and almost triggered cute aggression in you.

Watching some “90-day Fiance” episodes with him for his youtube videos. Arthur finding it humorous to see how flabbergasted you were by some of the behaviors of the people on the show.

Being used to him making outrageous jokes about people randomly. But even after a long time, he does not do the same thing to you. First, you’re like aww, but then, you kinda want him to go off.

Lowkey setting jokes up for him, but Arthur never takes the bait.

After a period of time he understands what you’re trying to do, so now he will not make direct jokes at you because it does not feel right to him, but also because he is a little stubborn like that.

Having that awkward period when both of you are somewhat aware it is not just a friendship between yall, but also not knowing what else it is. And when friends would ask about it either of you would just have to shrug your shoulders.

When the two of you are an actual thing, it would be so fun to see people trying to figure out if you and Arthur were dating or not. Knowing that hiding it would be a useless effort you would tease them a little instead.

Thrilled to hear you talk about your childhood, family, and your home along with the culture it withholds. They all shaped you into the person you are today, the person he adores so much. So automatically Arthur wants to hear all about them.

And loving your voice makes him enjoy it even more.

Incase you are worrying or contemplated about something Arthur would always try to help you if you let him. Very good at listening and even better at giving advice.

You do not know how he does it, but every time he manages to make you feel better just with his words.

Likes to give you back hugs, but if you do the same. ahahahahaha. Butterflies breed like wildfire in his stomach. And then you have the audacity to kiss his shoulder and ask him if he is okay. Bro would fold in a millisecond.

Him getting teased by his mates.

HAND! HOL-DING! From the first date to the end of our days. Arthur and you will be connecting those hands as if it's a 6th sense the two of you have developed.

Down to indulge in that aesthetic couple type of life. Going on a cute little picnic and laying next to each other under the sun after (on that one day a year when it is sunny in Britain).

Visiting cozy cafes early in the morning.

Stargazing. Arthur probably knows weirdly a lot about the stars as well.

Actually falling in love with him lmao.

Being with him just feels right. Before relationships seemed so complicated, commitment and the constant fear of losing the person you love to the relationship seemed to be worries left in the past.

Being loved by Arthur feels like a Lana del Ray song (but he isn’t 17 years older than you-).

OPLA! Roronoa Zoro Drabbles- how you met + how you joined the crew

I am drunk off this man right now. If he'd let me, I'd love to get to know him over a bottle of wine and a sirloin steak. Even though he's more of a booze man ofc. Below are some stray thoughts I have about him since I am slightly obsessed lol. I hope y'all enjoy my romantic/self-indulgent drabbles. One more thing- all of these HCs will surround an MC who identifies as Female.

Luffy ponders this, countering that they already have a doctor but could always use the support when needed. He looks back to the crew and asks them what they think as well, wich surprises you a little. Nami and Robin would appreciate another afab person on the crew but supplies are tight as is, Franky thinks you're cool, same for Chopper. Sanji comments on supplies as well but he wouldn't mind if another girl is on board. Ussop is a little threatened by your presence and is against your addition entirely.

Zoro almost yells at him but before he starts, you get on your knees and properly ask him, along with the rest of the crew to stay. Luffy asks you why, and you say that you want to live. Live life with people you know and do it to the fullest. You then look back to Ussop, who is staring you down. "I didn't come to replace you. I came to follow, and hopefully live up to the people he adores," You glance over to Zoro, who is surprised you admitted that in front of his (totally not) family. "He holds you all to such a high standard. I wanna be a part of that."

Ussop just tells you to stand up and looks at Luffy. Luffy lets you on board, with the condition that you show off your skills. You do so.

Zorro helps you on and holds your hand as y'all are leaving port.

Relationship HCs for more BNHA Bois

Sero:

yall hve late night talks where you lay in bed and just quietly talk about your day or anything really

usually you both end up falling asleep facing each other and by morning, sero’s on his back while youre snuggled into his side, an arm thrown over his stomach with one of his arms thrown over your waist

its a game of rock paper scissors to see who will make breakfast (funfact, sero intentionally loses so he can be sweet and bring you breakfast🥺)

GAMING NIGHTS where you got the console all set up with snacks and drinks and maybe a pizza on the kitchen counter

for the single player games or when you dont really wanna play and just watch, you get to sit in his lap while he games

OH MY GOD IF HES ON CALL WITH THE BAKUSQUAD: seros chatting with the squad while youre watching him play, silently munching on some snacks, when sero says “hold on guys i gotta pause real quick” and then he asks you, whichout putting himself on mute, if he could get up to go to the bathroom. you say “of course” and move off his lap, only to heal Kaminari scream into his mic about how he wants a cute partner to game with while bakugous cussing his out telling him to shut up lmao

late night trips to the store when you both cant sleep

youre walking up and down the aisles with sero, stopping to look through the snacks and drinks section. while youve semi zoned out, he comes up behind you and holds you. you stay like that a moment before you both pick your snacks and maybe some other small things that you need to get anyways and go home

hes a very cuddly boy and he isnt afraid to lightly tease you a bit

i know this isnt original, but hes a dork and 1000% will want to recreate the spiderman kiss: hes taped upside down from the ceiling, dangling in front of you and you smile, coming up closer to him and pressing your lips to his. when you both pull back, hes red in the face, both from being upside down and from the kiss, and youre cheeks are a little pink, but you both have huge smiles on your faces.

bakusquad meets you pretty early on id say and immediately, they all were like: “sero i swear if you hurt them-” so needless to say you are now apart of the Squad™️ and they would all kill for you

when yall invite a couple or all of the squad over, the nights always end in hysterics: kaminari probably short circuited at one point, baku is being baku, kirishimas calming him down while having a laughing fit

its chaos but its so much fun

some days when sero comes home from work as a pro hero, hes exhausted and kind of down: when the door to your shared home shut, you were up and going to greet your man, but stopped short seeing him look so...frustrated and upset. you offered a silent invitation for a hug, to which he accepted, and while hugging, you pressed dozens of little kisses all over his face and once you finally settled your lips to his, he had a small smile on his lips

he probably proposes to you in a really sweet location, like at one of your very first date spots or at a date where you both still talk about how amazing that date was.

Kirishima:

will introduce you to the squad immediately lmao

hes super sweet, he will get up early (hes used to it from baku dragging him out of bed to train) and make you breakfast, meal preps a lunch for the both of you, and starts to plan dinner when you get up from the lack of warmth he provides

hypes you tf up any time you try on new outfits, are trying to get some tedious project done, or if youre just feeling down

takes you on super fun and cute dates like: one of your first dates was going to the roller rink, and oh my god it was so fun! yall would win little tickets when they had games and if you needed a break from skating, you roll off with him to the snack bar area. you both got a thing of nachos and icees. you sat at one of the many tables and proceeded to eat, chatting and laughing over anything and everything. its still one of your favorite date memories

he games as well with the squad and he also lets you sit on his lap, but the difference is, he announces that youve made his lap your seat and for the squad to be “on their best behavior” to which bakugou immediately told him to stfu lmao

youve fallen asleep on him while he was gaming and when he notices that, he will quietly say that he has to get off and says good night to the squad. he will carry you into your shared bedroom and get you comfy in bed before going off to get dressed for bed himself. hes probably brushing his teeth when he feels you wrap your arms around his waist and bury your head in his back

hes so fucking weak for you 🥺

early morning yall have these little talks (if you arent too exhausted): the sun shines through the curtains and onto your faces, waking you both. “morning baby” kirishima says. you smile and give him a little peck. for a loment, you both stay silent, just gently caressing and cuddling each other before one of you starts the sleepy conversation of whats on the agenda for the day. as you both chat, the sleep slowly ebbing away, you lean in and give him a proper good morning kiss, laughing when he returned the affection by pressing hilariously sloppy kisses to your face and neck

there are times where his job really has him down. one of the sadder times he cane home was when he had lost a member of his team. he demanded his whole agency to take at least a week off to grieve and do what they have to. that day, he came in quiet as a mouse and the moment you saw him, you knew it wasnt a good day. as soon as you hugged him close, he started sobbing. yeah, hes a pro hero and yeah he has to deal with death a lot, but that doesnt make it easier to deal with. youre glad he took a week off and you all spent that week relaxing and, for him especially, just letting whatever emotion come over you happen.

after one of those tough days at work, he had come home both incredibly stressed out and grateful. on a mission, he had to call in backup from Bakugous agency and nearly escaped from, maybe not death, but a blow that could have landed him in the hospital for a pretty long time. he came home, minor cuts and brusies all over him, and while you were fretting over him and cleaning all the wounds, he proposed in near hysterics. he had genuinely feared for his life and if he was going to keep this job up, he wanted you as his forever partner

Shinsou:

at any given time when you both have freetime, youre cuddling

one of you is making dinner? the other is behind them hugging and holding each other

bedtime? you fall asleep entangled

i feel like he would work for Aizawa for a while before he gets the urge to start his own agency, and when he does make his own agency, you help him celebrate it by getting his a kitten. he came home and one of the first things that greets him is this little tabby puffball waddling towards him. he’d look up at you and you smile. “congratulations on the new agency baby, and on the newest member of our little family”

he looked like he was gonna cry 🥺 hes so soft for you, he loves you so much

will invite both friends and mr.aizawa (and his fam) over for the mini celebration you put together. youre just so proud of him yknow?

date nights every saturday. if one if you gets called in to work, you push the time for your date back, only rescheduling if one of you got injured and had to go to the hospital or if it was a longer call

he proposes to you in a very relaxed and sweet manner: so yall are home and its one of those rare times where you both have the next week off together. he wakes up first and just looks at you while you snooze a little longer, and all he can think about is how absolutely adorable you are. the kitten is curled up at the foot of the bed, the sun is just atarting to come in, and when the sun illuminates you, he swears you are a real angel thats blessed him. when you wake up, the first thing you see if him looking at you like you’re the most beautiful person in the world. when you gave him a soft morning kiss, he finally snapped out of his trance and pulled you closer to him, pressing small kisses to your head before breathing out, in his sleep ridden voice, asking you to marry him.

the rest of that week was spent telling friends and family that you got engaged. he tells aizawa he got engaged and not 10 minutes later, a knock from your front door is heard. aizawa congratulates the both of you and hands the both of you a basket with wine and expensive looking chocolates. while aizawa didnt stay long, you could tell he was both happy and proud of and for the both of you 😭❤️

Valentines W/ Akatsuki hcs: What they would give you

This is actually wholesome content for once... enjoy some goofy fluff yall

NAGATO:

I think Nagato is quite the romantic and actually really wants love... So when he finally meets you, he really isn’t sure what to give to you. All the stories would tell him that he should give flowers, chocolate... But that didn’t seem like enough for him to really express how he feels. He remembered one story he read where the boy gave his love a class ring from his school that was symbolic of a promise.

He will place his Akatsuki ring in your palm and close your hand, still holding it. “A promise... to always keep you safe.”

PLEASE KISS HIM, he needs that

KONAN:

She knew exactly what she was going to give you. Love is something that comes easily to her... And you fill her with such a sense of home when her head is on your chest and she can hear your breathing, smell your scent. She hadn’t felt anything like that since she lived in the house with Yahiko, Nagato, and Jiraiya.

You think it’s cute when she hands you the bouquet of paper flowers, but you tear up when you realise that she’s written inside of them all the things she loves about you. Your sparkly eyes and lilting laugh.

In the middle of the bouquet, there is a small paper house. “What’s this for?” you ask her smiling. She takes your face in her hands and says, “It is a reminder, that you have become my home.”

ITACHI:

Itachi is a simple man in a lot of ways. He loves you so much that a thing doesn’t seem like enough to give to you.

So he scouts around for a few days, in the woods and small nearby villages, until he finds what he was looking for.

He wakes you up really early in the morning, before the sun even comes up, and he takes you on a hike. “Where are we going?” you yawn, “it’s a surprise,” he smiles back at you. You’re the one thing in this world that gives him peace and serenity. When he’s with you he feels as if all the bad is melting away and he can just be in the present moment.

The sun is coming over the hills in a pink and orange glow, just like he hoped it would... The light illuminates the old bridge and dances off of the water. There are cherry trees in full bloom, their petals blowing in the breeze. Fish swim around the maze of water lilies, the light glinting off of their scales. Tears are welling in your eyes and you turn back to him and say “it’s beautiful, thank you.”

He just smiles and takes your hand. “This,” he says, gesturing to the scene of natural beauty, “is how you make me feel... all the time. And I wanted to give you a precious memory, in exchange for all those you have given me.”

KISAME:

Kisame doesn’t really believe in gifts so much because he feels that items have very little importance. However, he does care about you and he wants that to be obvious. He’s a surprisingly good listener and he remembers you telling him how your family always made blue berry pancakes for breakfast on the weekends. He remembered the nostalgia in your voice so he decided he would make you some.

They aren’t fancy, nor are they cutesy and shaped like hearts. But they’re sooooo good. They taste exactly like the ones from your childhood. It turns out, that he had called your family to get the recipe... Kisame feels very proud of himself with how much you like them. “And I’ll always be around for ya to make more...” He really does love you.

Please give him Blu Ray copy of Finding Nemo, just to see what happens...

SASORI:

He knew Valentines day was coming and was so nervous... Sasori knew exactly what he wanted to do for you. He spent over a week making it but then he decided that it wasn’t exactly right so he scrapped that and started over. He really hopes that you like it.

He gives you the box wrapped in pink paper with red ribbons. Inside there are two small puppets, one that looks like him and one that looks like you. They're beautifully carved and painted. You reach for the one who looks like you but he grabs your hand. “This one is yours,” he gives you the one that looks like him and takes your puppet in his hands instead. “I know it’s kind of selfish to make myself a gift as well...” He pauses, still holding your hand, “This way, when one of us is away, it’s less like the other is gone.” You squeeze his hand back, “I love it and if I’m gone, I’ll always come back to you.” He will remember those words forever.

DEIDARA:

He had an artistic spectacle planned from the very beginning. He dragged you out of bed because he couldn’t wait any longer to give it to you. You’re standing outside in your pajamas for whatever couldn’t wait until even 15 minuets later. He does the hand sign and there is a gigantic explosion. The ground is violently shaking and you have your hands clapped over your ears. You’re slightly annoyed because he does this everyday. But Deidara makes a clay bird and extends his hand, you hop on and take to the sky.

“There! See! Happy Valentines Day baby.” The crater from the explosion is in the shape of a heart. “Love... is also an explosion,” he says as he kisses you. “That’s so cheesyyyy,” you laugh and kiss him back. “But look, my love for you will be carved into the earth for hundreds of years... thats how much I love you.”

KAKAZU:

He really doesn’t care about Valentines... or that much about you. He pulls a total grandpa move and puts a 5 in a card and doesn't write in it.

He hands it to you and says “go buy yourself something nice.” You stare blankly into the card...

It was enough to get a drink and a snack from a vending machine tho

HIDAN:

Hidan decided that to shows his love and affection for you, he needed to give you something...personal.

He tells you to close your eyes and open your hands. You feel something cold on your palm. “Okay, now open,” he says excitedly. You open your eyes and there is a small vile on a chain. “Lemme put it on ya,” he offers and clips the chain around your neck. There is a strange dark liquid inside the small glass vile. “It’s my blood,” he smiles. Your eyes grow wide and you really aren’t sure what to say. He reads your expressions of confusion and mild horror. “Listen, it’s more symbolic than anything, relax...” He seems almost offended that you don’t understand. “My blood is my weakness and I’m giving it to you, it means that I trust you more than anyone...”

OROCHIMARU:

He’s technically a member still... yes?

Anyways... he remembered you telling him about how much you missed a family member who passed away.

Well Happy Valentines Day, he’s reanimated them for you!

The fright you got when you saw them sitting down stairs drinking a cup of tea with Orochimaru is something you will never get over...

ZETSU:

He didn't need to think hard at all about his gift for you, it seemed pretty obvious.

He hands you the small succulent in a heart shaped pot. “Aww so cute! A plant baby!” you exclaim. Zetsu is please that you think it’s cute. “It’s me actually, well it’s us... well my clone.” You blink at the plant in the pot. “Good morning, my love,” it says. Zetsu moves closer to you and puts a hand on your waist. “This way, you can talk to me whenever you want to, or call me back if ever you need me,” he whispers sweetly. You wrap him in a hug and tell him you love it and that it means so much to you.

Zetsu smiles, all those things he told you were true. He wants to make sure that he’s always there for you but he also likes to just know what you’re doing. He’s actually quite Yandere... He wants to keep tabs on you and especially those you talk to.

And besides, a clone is much easier than hacking your phone.

The dynamic of seeing each other after years apart and never knowing what could have been is expressed so wonderfully. It’s a hell of an emotional journey in < 1000 words, and I can’t wait for the rest of these evermore fics!!

MY THOTS: okay, I admittedly was not a Greek Mythology Gay (tm) and i am woefully lacking in said knowledge, but that did absolutely nothing to lessen my enjoyment of this beautiful and heart-wrenching fic. Also, I’ve since been working my way through percy jackson books for the first time (lol) and this fic has been oft on my mind. The prose is immaculate, and the emotions are soft, and just everything is too too lovely and bittersweet!!!! GAH.
