he notices the tired look simmering in your near-to-closing eyes far quicker than you would like him to. it is simply terrible how perceptive he can be at times and how with any new morsel of gathered information, he finds the need to tease you the slightest. just a teensy bit to allow him to see your cute expression muddled in sleepiness is fine, isn't it?

with the way his slender fingers catch hold of your hair and pull on your collar blithely, it is almost as if he does not want to hand you over to the arms of sleep. the night is plenty young and the moon is so awfully pretty... must you say good night so abruptly and spoil the enchantment? when you show no signs of relenting, natsume tries another trick: indifference. he is a little sulky now and the beginnings of a pout pucker his soft mouth. but of course, this is in all mere jest and he definitely couldn't care any less about the little kitten's bedtime.

just as you abandon your scowling heap of paperwork in favour of a good night's sleep and plan to call it a day, there is an impromptu tug at your sleeve. another harsh tug later and you stumble forward alarmingly. you wait for the impact of your head cracking open like a breakfast egg on the floor with all its gears in plain sight for natsume to marvel at and dissect gleefully.

nothing of the sort happens. there is only the familiarity of warm hands cradling your own icy cheeks. a sudden kiss as light as feathers is pressed underneath your widened eye. and there! that will be enough to make you dream of him deeply even when those lovely eyes are shut fast asleep. a small price to pay for leaving him so soon, don't you think?

aoba tsumugi

his thoughts take a sudden sentimental turn at the sight of you suppressing a yawn and attempting to rub the sleep out of your eyes. you remind him so dreadfully of the children at his mother's school long ago. he cannot help but wish to delicately stroke the hair away from your forehead and promise to finish all the frowning heaps of work left in your stead.

but oh that wouldn't do at all! you'd probably laugh at him and once natsume-kun found out about his pathetic attempts... he shuddered at the possibility of the embarrassing consequences that would follow suit. yet his disobedient feet had other plans apparently. they had shuffled over to you before his brain could even catch up with what they were doing. you look up expectantly and with such a pretty smile that he does not think he is worthy of. his heart may be hesitant but it is firmly in the right place as he ushers you away from your work like a worried mother hen. he'll simply do every last thing himself if he must!

you gaze up at him in bemusement all the while holding onto his arm as if to restrain him from falling into the depths of the same tiredness that you had become prisoner to. when your insistent questions and pleas fall on deaf ears, you decide to settle for another smile instead. you can only hope that this is what he wants to do. but then again tsumugi never voiced aloud what he wanted and you always had to spend much time guessing.

he does not let you help a bit. it is almost like dealing with a child persistent on doing things their own foolish way. perhaps you may have dozed off for a while there too for he is done before you know it. tsumugi looks wistful and silly with his curls all over the place and his glasses slightly askew. there is even a little paper cut on his finger and ignoring his words of feeling perfectly fine, you bind it up with a hankerchief anyway.

harukawa sora

your colour could be anything. from a light shade of hyacinth to a darker gleam of rose pink, sora will be able to tell it apart from anything else all the same. but sometimes your color may overlap with its surrondinga or become rather blurry like a runny dab of watercolour which leads to confusion on his part. everyone is so fond of hiding things that they thought made them seem vunerable and you weren't an exception to this. he becomes a little lost and fidgety on what to do then.

it is a relief when you notice his sudden worried look and reassure him that it's nothing at all, that you simply feel a little sleepy. he brightens up considerably after hearing that. but after giving it a little more thought, he droops woefully so at the realization. were you going to keep on scrawling away whatever that was in your notebook until you reached the point of an all-nighter? shisho and senpai were always pulling those to tie up various odds and ends that they had not been able to tackle during the day. they looked all the worse for wear the next morning. he had to think of something to distract you with before such an idea crossed your mind!

he catches hold of your hand before you can even begin to protest and pulls you along with what you assume to be a nightime tour of ES. you pretend not to know every nook and cranny already for his sake. there are still a few idols lounging around doing goodness knows what. they nearly jump out of their skin at the intrusion and pointedly tell you to go home instead of being bothersome.

the pair of you are out of breath by the end of it. any sleepiness that you had nursed before had now vanished. and as you turn around in indignation to ask sora what all that was about, you are greeted with the angelic sight of him fast asleep. he still has hold of your hand which he presses against his cheek, mumbling sleep nonsense into all the while. you sigh but do not have the heart to let go.

❧ Natsume is somewhat troubled, you see. Somehow, both of you and Sora's energies attract each other like strong magnets. Most of the time, a mere sight of each other will lead to a crash into a hug in high speed. The excited call of each other's name is enough of a signal that you and Sora already dashed for another huge bear hug.

❧ Natsume is quick to recognize the pattern. He readies himself every time that happens, so he can prevent the two of you from crashing to the floor. Sometimes, he'd remind you to be careful, but he can't help it when seeing you and Sora giggling so happily. It feels like looking after two high-spirited kids who like to frolic around like kittens from time to time.

❧ Knowing that you're just another pure, innocent soul, Natsume gained a peace of mind of having you accompany Sora. In fact, he watches over you too, ready to fling a curse to anyone who hurts either you or Sora. He will make sure no one dares to disturb both of your happiness, ever.

❧ Tsumugi found Natsume playing games with you quite often. Most of the time, you're seated in between Natsume's crossed-legs on the floor, leaning back comfortably against his chest with controller in hand. Both of you were focused on the screen while enjoying each other's presence.

❧ Tsumugi sees Natsume as somewhat protective when it comes to you. While that's not entirely wrong, Natsume is just not so keen of letting you be near Tsumugi specifically. It's not because Natsume doesn't trust Tsumugi, it's entirely because of his sentiment.

❧ Apparently, Natsume isn't quite fond of showing affection as much when Tsumugi is around. That doesn't mean Tsumugi didn't notice the subtle gestures of wrapping his arms around you and kissing the crown of your head. One time he chirped a flowery comment about it, Natsume quickly threw an empty can to his head. Repeating the said act will probably risk his head getting hit by a brick.

❧ Sora ever saw you and Tsumugi huddled up together on the couch, draped in a blanket that Tsumugi often carries around. A closed book laid on top of a coffee table, along with Tsumugi's glasses. It seemed that you had fallen asleep when reading together, and Tsumugi decided to join you in having a nap.

❧ Sora can't help but smile at the sight of you and Tsumugi radiating a soft, joyful colour, even while asleep. The state of tranquillity gives off such a warm colour, and Sora can see how much you hold each other dearly. It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

❧ Having almost forgotten the reason he entered the room, he tip-toed quickly to retrieve his lab coat, as discreet as he can to not disturb your nap. Sora took a final glance of Tsumugi, having you safely tucked under his wings before closing the door quietly, leaving the two of you in your own whole world.

Natsume’s definitely the type to do little magic tricks in order to impress you. Not only that, but he would purposefully not show them all in one go so, if he ever notices that you’re feeling overwhelmed or just down in general, he would show you “new” tricks in order to make you smile !! He hates seeing you sad or stressed [ even if he might not outright say it. ]

He’s surprisingly really good at protecting your computer against viruses !! This is because he would often take them and use them in his own magic spells before they could do any sort of damage. Sometimes, he would even study the viruses so that he can develop a spell against it. So rest assured, your system is always safe !!

If you play video games, he’ll definitely partner up with you !! Oh? Does that game only have a singleplayer option? Fret not, Natsume has a totally legit version that just so happens to have a multiplayer option !! Huh, what are the odds? Now you can play together <3

On the topic of video games, Natsume can be a total trash talker. If you don’t trash talk yourself, he’ll do it for you !! You better have restricted his access to your microphone because he will unmute just to trash talk the enemy in any sort of competitive match. Do you trash talk yourself? Doesn’t matter, because he will still instigate it. So now you’re both trash talking your opponents together. This doesn’t only apply to multiplayer though, even in singleplayer games, you’ll both trash talk the enemy as if they could hear you in the first place.

He loves to just chat with you in general !! Whether it's about your assignments or any other mundane topic, you and Natsume would often have such long conversations that they tend to last the entire night if you don’t watch the clock closely !! Though, you both never regret when that happens because you enjoy each other’s company~ 10/10, will pull an all nighter again <3

Natsume’s also willing to give you feedback on assignments if you ever need help. His feedback may come off as harsh sometimes but please don’t get discouraged !! This is just his way of saying that he knows you can do better~ Even with all that though, he’ll gladly stay by your side and guide you through the steps, or help you with any research if you’re struggling.

He’s so serious when it comes to helping you that he would often shut himself in one of your folders and work endlessly just so that he can provide you with the necessary things you needed !! He also loves to tease you, so don’t be surprised when he uses nicknames such as kitten, etc. In fact, you should get used to it because he will never stop no matter how many times you ask him to. Natsume finds your reaction to his nicknames to be quite entertaining and cute too~

› You sit on the couch in the secret room, shoulders brushing together in a way that makes Tsumugi overthink the whole time. His hand scratches the pages of the book as he flips to the next page. Scared to break the peaceful silence between the two of you, he glances at you every time to make sure you’re done reading, and when you nod, his shoulders relax. Finally he’s doing something right.

The words don’t register in his brain, and frankly, Tsumugi wasn’t really interested in the book you picked, but he appreciates the time you’ve spared to hang out, so he pretends to clean his glasses more often than not and hopes you won’t quiz him on the plot later. (He eventually confesses anyway, avoiding your gaze, and offers a faint smile if you forgive him.)

› You're sitting against a tree outside of school, overwhelmed by others and unable to speak, with a book in hand and Sora hovering above your shoulder. Tracing over the words you're at for Sora to keep up, he mumbles them gently so as not to disturb, a few gasps leaving him when the story's climax eventually arrives.

Strands of his hair brush over your cheek and you smile, readjusting your position against the tree so Sora doesn’t break his neck following along. At some point, Sora motions for you to lift the book, and he borrows your lap for his head to rest on. He falls asleep in record time, and you soon join him after far many yawns to count.

A warm hand pushing your forehead back and the snap of your neck jolts you awake. It hurts like hell. Natsume stares down at you two with a frown but kind eyes and Sora laughs, the blossoming pain in your back and neck fades as you exchange a ‘good morning’ hug with Sora and go back to Yumenosaki, the scent of a freshly opened book accompanying you to class.

The worst thing that could possibly happen… happened. Sora was nowhere to be seen. He was just with you a moment ago?!

You immediately went to one of the closest people to Sora, Tsumugi. Calling him in a panic, you stood in at the side to get out of the way of people passing by. As soon as you heard him pick up, you exploded.

“TSUMUGI THE WORST THING JUST HAPPENED! SORAISLOSTHEWASJUSTHEREASECONDAGOIMSOSCAREDWHATDOIDO?!”

Tsumugi had to pull away the phone from his ear for a moment before returning to respond to you. “Calm down, take a breather. Now, tell me what happened, slowly.”

You exhaled and then explained the situation. “Sora and I were out on a walk since I figured we needed to step away from the video games. Sora and I weren't talking for a while and I looked to the side and realized that he was gone.”

Tsumugi theorized a few possibilities. He’s lost Sora a few times before and it was rather easy to find him, but he can sympathize with your anxiousness.

You decided to head in the direction you came from and ran around in a terror. Soon after you stopped at a tree, you noticed somebody laying there under said tree. You got a good glance at the person and you jumped to them.

“Sora! Oh my god, I found you!” You kneeled down to his side as you exclaimed in relief. He didn’t respond which brought your nerves back up again.

You pulled his head onto your lap. You looked around a bit confused. Did he really fall asleep at such a random time of the day?

Nonetheless, you were glad that you could see him so peaceful. He even fell asleep with a smile on his face.

You didn’t see him sleep very often since he usually has very high energy and you mostly always fall asleep before him. Before you knew it, you could see the sun start to set. The sun was still out but it was a sign you had to go.

“Sora, let’s go.” You softly said while tapping his cheek. He hardly stirred and just moved onto his side.

Cute…!

You covered your mouth with your hand and squealed while screaming inside your head.

You snapped back to reality and just sighed. Well you really can’t wake him up. That leaves really only one option.

You gently moved Sora’s head off your lap slowly and stretched your limbs. You struggled a bit but you managed to get Sora on your back.

You jumped up to get a better hold on him and made a slow pace towards home. It was a shame you couldn’t see his face but his soft breaths were enough to know he’s okay.

You were in absolute bliss. It’s not often you could carry him since there was never a reason to but there was something that just made you really glad he’s in your life.

Hehehe I wouldn’t mind if stuff like this happened more often.

"HaHa, Sora's here to comfort you!" Sora has finally appeared, waving at you happily.

"O-Oh, Sora...! You're so nice!!" You exclaimed, perhaps a bit too excitedly at the sight of him being here.

But, could you blame yourself? You're about to be on stage in front of thousands of people, it's not every day that opportunity could come by, and you're not exactly the best at talking either.

Sora could see it too, your color... It wasn't the usual warm color you'd give off—your color today was more... Dull? It was an uneasy dull color and he feels sad just even sensing your colors, honestly.

"Sora can sense your nervousness... Please don't push yourself too hard, Sora's here; he can help if you'd like!" He said, his words really did help you calm down a little. The reassurance that someone could help you makes you feel slightly calmer.

But, you want to do this on your own.

You pat Sora's head, smiling gently at him. "I'm glad that you'd do that for me, Sora. Although I'm not good at talking in front of a larger crowd, I still want to try at least."

Sora can sense a change of color. From a rather nervous and dull color to something slightly brighter than before.

"But, Uhm, keep your promise, alright? I don't know if I can do this without messing up...!" You said, chuckling slightly as your hands fell onto his shoulders, gripping it slightly in sudden nervousness.

Sora was quite awestruck by you. He has always seen you fumbling with your words whenever talking to someone, but you want to try being on stage in front of thousands of people whose attention will all be on you? You're so cool and admirable!

"You're so cool, Producer! Sora hopes he will be just like you when he grows up!"

"E-eh, Sora...? Don't say it like that, 'm jus..." You stumbled on your own words at Sora's sudden statement. Never once in your life would you think you'd hear anyone calling you cool; even to the point where they say they want to be just like you.

But his words did make you feel happy.

Soon, you heard the crew telling you that it was your turn on the stage soon. Your gaze falls down to Sora, and he gives you an encouraging smile; the one that tells you to do your best.

You smiled back, nervously fiddling with your fingers as you made it to the entrance to the stage with Sora beside you.

"Do your best, Producer! Sora will be watching close by, he will try to help if he can!"

"They probably wouldn't allow you to do that... Also, I thought Natsume was going to be here too...? Although that probably doesn't matter since I'm about to be on stage soon."

"Shisho said he doesn't want to interrupt you. He worries that if he also comes by with Senpai, you'll get too stressed out about it. But, please do be rest assured that Shisho and Senpai are all in the crowd supporting you—you're Switch's producer, after all☆!"

"I'm more anxious now knowing that they're amongst the crowd..." You sighed, suddenly feeling anxious once again.

"HaHa, but Sora is sure that you'll be alright, Producer!" He gives you one last word of encouragement before stopping, just right before the entrance to the stage.

You look back at him, feeling slightly nervous at the fact that Sora won't be there with you.

"Do your best, y/n♪!" He said, waving at you happily. A nervous smile crept up your face before you waved back at him, sweating profusely.

The crew soon informed you that it was your turn on that stage.

Glancing back at Sora, you saw the smile on his face—the smile of confidence; he believes that you can do this.

You nod, turning your back to him, and walked onto the stage. You just hope that you'll do great, you don't really want to disappoint Sora.

Natsume will tease how cute you look when you begged for him to take a picture.

He then thanked you later on and accepted your invitation.

Once you and him arrived inside the carnival you can see Tsumugi's eyes sparkle.

Tsumugi is someone who rarely goes to fun places due to his busy schedule.

Tsumugi is the type to hold your hand while he's looking around the amusement park with a smile on his face.

He would ask you how was your day while you two are walking around the amusement park, he cares about you deeply.

I can imagine Tsumugi losing when playing a game inside the amusement park however, he can win a few games if good luck is on his side.

If he did lose, he promised that he will buy you something and will treat you in the cafeteria tomorrow.

If you managed to win a game and give it to Tsumugi as a gift, he will treasure it like his child. It's a gift from his s/o afterall.

If it's a plushie, he will put it beside his bed and he will hug it close to his chest while sleeping thinking that it's you.

I can imagine some people staring at how cute and sweet you and Tsumugi are.

Sora was the one who invited you to go to an amusement however, I can imagine you and Sora inviting each other at the same time.

He already planned what rides you two are going to take, you can obviously tell that he's really excited about this.

Once you two are inside the amusement park, Sora will pull your arm and will run towards a ride that caught his attention.

Sora is the type to run off somewhere when he founds something interesting so please keep an eye on him and hold his hand so he won't run off.

If he did run of somewhere and you're finding him, he will surprise you by hugging you behind.

He absolutely loves the surprised expression on your face right now.

Sora likes to cling on your arm while walking around the amusement park.

While you two are walking, Sora will hop every second because of how excited he is.

When he tries out the games, he will win many of them. He is a pro gamer afterall.

When he founds a plushie that looks like you, he will do his best to get it and gift it you.

Sora loves how your color gives off such a positive and sweet vibe when he gave you the plushie.

Sora is the same as Natsume, he likes the craziest rides but sometimes you can sense he's quite scared at some of them.

Sora is the type to wave his arms and keeps shouting how happy he is when you two are inside the rollercoaster.

After riding the rollercoaster he won't stop until you and him ride all of the rides inside the amusement park.

The big and genuine smile on his face will never fade throughout the rides.

After the rides, he will buy cotton candy for you and him, he will also buy a few desserts and sweets with it.

You can sense Sora's color brighten when he took a bite of the cotton candy.

Sora enjoys every single second he spends time with you, he is brimming with delight every time he founds you smiling. Sora is absolutely grateful and happy to be with you. He loves and adore you so much that his colorful heart cannot take it.
