ooo okay so there are a lot of ways to make an anthro rabbit look more Rabbit-Like.

starting with the feet! first of all, rabbits hve claws that arent retractable, so include those :) next, see the way you have made your feet they are flat on the soles and really short and simple:

however, rabbit feet are much longer for more propulsion when leaping. there are two way to show this: stanign on the toes or standing on the soles. typically, rabbits will be on their toes when they are walking, standing, running, ect. but when they are resting/sitting they will be on their soles. as shown here:

see how the feet positions change depending on what the rabbit is doing? try to show this when you are drawing the character, kinda like this:

Hands! i got nothing to say except for add pads on the palms and beans on the fingers. also claws. example here:

Now, ears!! the way you drew the ears they kinda looked like they were in a ponytail maybe? as if they were a substitute for hair. shown here:

There are plenty of other ways to show the ears that will translate as more like Rabbit ears rather than just like hair. examples shown here:

Tail! you didnt show the tail in your drawing since it was a front-on image, so imma just show different kinds of tails you can give her. first: realistic. a little scruffier and pointed upwards, like an actual rabbit's tail. fur will be the same color as the rest of the fur on the body on top and white on the bottom. example here:

next: round/cartoon. totally white, fluffy little cottonball on the butt. the way pretty much every cartoon depicts it. this isnt realistic but a cute design attribute nonetheless. example here:

last: hare. hares have slightly longer tails than rabbits. this isnt quite realistic most of the time when depicted in art, but it looks interesting enough. fur would be the same color as the rest of the body all over the tail, no white underside. example here:

Eyes! Rabbits are prey, so they have to be able to watch out for predators on all sides. that's why they have eyes on either side of their head. try making the eyes on your character more wide set(kinda like those from asian have). y'know how people are always criticizing Usagi for having eyes too far apart. yeah, there's a reason for that design choice lol. anyways example here:

Nose! just a little button nose. tiny upside down triangle on the face. simple as that :D example shown in the previous image

Body shape! yeah, i really dont have much advice for this one. if you want it to be realistic have thinner, bonier arms and legs with the same body shape you already have for her. here is your Og with the advice next to it:

hair! yeah, this one is really just ideas. i sa you added fluff to the top of your character's head, but it look really choppy and more like a weird hat tbh(not trying to hate just stating my observations). try making more fluid and going on one general direction rather than all different directions. want some different options i thought up? first, fluffy: more rounded and floofy looking. i dunno how to explain it so example here lol:

Next, scruffy: uhhh....i dunno how to explain this one very well either. curved points that go in mostly the same direction with a few outliers. example here:

last, Human-like: this one is kinda self explanatory. give her human hair lol.

Clothes! okay, this is that last tip i promise. listen, i love the skirt. it's cute, it's personalized, its stylish......But give her shorts or pants. she is a rabbit, which means she will be super athletic and will definitely be jumping/leaping and all-in-all moving around a lot. so yeah, unless you want people looking up her skirt all the time you might wanna give her different bottom apparel. of course, feel free to give her a skirt or dress if you wanna! now, for a top i really like the one you already gave her. it's sleek and looks cool! however, might i suggest a slightly baggier shirt? simply because tight tops like that would be restricting for movement and definitely uncomfortable since she has fur. a baggy shirt would allow for looser movements and wouldnt compact her fur and make it uncomfortable. belt could go either way. keep it or dont, its your choice. it might hurt a bit when she wants to bend over or something(i know from experience lol) but it also wouldnt hinder her like, at all. good for carrying pouches and stuff, holding weapons in shethes, ect. i personally think it looks great. i have a few outfit suggestions that you might like, feel free to use/mix and match any of them. they are yours now :DD

I was recently inspired to draw an astronaut (specifically in the Apollo 11 Spacewalk suit) but since can’t draw astronauts or human anatomy in general I had to give up. My point being, do you have any tips on how the draw astronauts? Btw I really love your art! You’re one of the first few people I followed on tumblr!

Aw thanks! First off:

Drawing is just making marks. If you can make the marks you want and you know where you want to make them, there's nothing that you can't draw.

Sorry that's not very astronaut-specific, but the way I think about it there's not much difference between drawing an astronaut and drawing, say, a steam train. It's all the same process of studying the real thing to understand first its basic forms and proportions and then its more complex details and then applying that knowledge. The more you understand something, the easier it becomes to play with it.

If you want to draw humans and humanoid things, start by studying the scaffolding, how the bones connect to each other, how they move, and what their relative sizes are. Don't worry about replicating the literal appearance of every bone, just think of it like a stick figure with a box for the ribcage and a box for the pelvis. Then you can layer muscle groups on top of that, skin overtop of muscles, and clothes and astronaut suits on top of it all. Will Weston's figure drawings are my favorite to study for this kind of thing.

There's basically nothing that's off limits when it comes to studying. You can draw from life, draw from a photo, trace the basic shapes on top of photos to get a feel for the proportions, draw from another artist's drawing, etc. It's generally best not to post stuff you trace or otherwise copy (and definitely don't claim it as your own) but it's all fair game for learning. The only thing that won't help you learn is drawing without any reference, since you won't have anything to evaluate your drawings by to see what you're doing right or wrong.

If it helps, here's some stuff I think about when I'm drawing my astronauts:

People are failing to realize that clothing, and cameras for that matter, can be fairly deceptive. I don't wanna say deceptive because it carries a certain connotation, but I hope you'll know what I mean. I look fairly "thin/avg" with a shirt on, but without it it's rolls and folds lol

Furthermore, it's wild to assume someone who's pretty passionate about accurate plus-size rep would be stick thin. Maybe their metric of "average" is skewed or something, but it's still weird to just show up in a strangers Asks and assume things about them and their bodies.

And I've been so crystal clear that these are literally me. Once again, I'm pointing at the aforementioned MATERIAL.

And outside of those, which are *literal* self portraits, I've spoken lots of times before about how I make girls of a certain size and shape because I'm modeling them off myself. Or as close as I can get, depending on how good/bad I feel and if I took a photo to ref or not. So the thing being implied here, or flat out accused in a handful of messages, is that I'm drawing fat girls forrr clout? AWESOME. WHEN would it become a bad thing for a skinny person to draw body positive art? In a positive light? Even if it was for clout? Am I going insane? That would be Good. If I was actually 115 pounds soaking wet, if I looked like that one girl from ANTM with the like 14 inch waist, and I was out here making the exact same art, would that make the art LESS meaningful to other fat girls? That someone who doesn't have this body type or relate to it at all found it beautiful enough to draw it so many times, treating the subject with respect? Fat people being the subject of art again? The cycling of a trend that's been gone too long? That is, I thought, what we've literally been begging to see. I have been thinking about this. And finally, the last part of it that's been vexing and haunting me:

Is it supposed to be my responsibility that someone gets dysmorphic LOOKING AT ME. HUHHHH. On the art account where I draw a lot of Me. HUH. I was meant to anticipate this? Looking at pictures of me. And that makes you feel dysmorphic. and that is my fault. I'm just double checking. On the account where I draw bodies that I relate to, that you followed because you relate to. And then seeing me. Makes you dysmorphic. Whew. Got it.

I'm putting a bow on my insane winding ramble about this. Or at least trying to, now. It is wild to have my body commented on so much. This year, bc of the breast reduction, comments on my body have increased a hundredfold. Positive, negative, passive aggressive, predatory, all of the ways it can go. There was a really obvious way to rebuff these particular comments, which would be to post a picture of myself where my body ISN'T mostly obscured. But hey, those aren't free. The art will have to do for now. I wouldn't be that surprised if half the messages were jokes meant to see if I'd post pics "proving" that I look how I look. I also thought briefly about like, what if my body did change that drastically? Would some ppl's immediate reaction be betrayal, disgust, anger? I've been sick in my life before and lost weight at alarming speeds. But I've still been fat all my life. I've gotten sick and gained weight at alarming speeds. Does my presence as a "body positive artist" mean that my body gets to be put on trial anytime it changes? Does the switch flip from "your fat art means so much to me" to "you're not in the club anymore, since you got rid of your breasts, you look different"

"what the fuck?" the door opened fast and aggressively. "I can't believe it!" Ellie and I jumped from each other. I stumble to the couch and Ellie went walking to the little kitchen. I sat down crossing my legs, there was no other way to do so cause the ache between my legs was too painful, too good…

"well ladies, I am gonna take a pack to the front, yall can keep the other three" Jesse took the opened pack taking one cig in his lips, extending the hand to Dina "my lady, would you like to be my co-pilot for the evening?" the cig hanging from his lip.

Both took off for the driving cabin, I stood there smoking and looking at the window, Ellie doing the same, sitting on the other side of the couch, the music blasting.

After a couple of minutes, two beers down and half a pack of cigs, both Ellie and I were just dancing to Dinas music, the ambiance was beautiful, the sunset beaming through the windows, satanist by boygenious playing, the four of us singing so loud, Ellie took my hands on her, her feet bouncing side to side, my own trying to pick up on her poor dancing skills, I could hear Dinas laugh from behind us, our ugly dance moves making her laugh even harder.

One hour passed, I wanted to keep on dancing but I my feet were screaming for me to sit down, for at least a few minutes, Ellie, like a psychic, came closer to me, placing a water bottle in front of my face, I took it while looking at her beautiful eyes, the blue hour tinting everything beautifully, it felt like I was In a dream, and I did not wanted to wake up from it.

That dumb poster

Okay, I have had more time to think about the Jimin exhibition poster controversy, and now I'm more pissed than ever. I see that other bloggers on this site (whose opinions I respect, btw), don't think the poster is a big deal. That was sort of my first thought, too. Sometimes Jimin's Korean fans seems to pick up on small transgressions that don't seem like a big deal to us non-Koreans. Why does the poster matter?

It matters for a few reasons.

DESIGN

Jimin has an enormous global fanbase. His name trends on X/Twitter almost daily. He's had six songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 during this short solo phase. This poster is in no way befitting of a global star. It looks more like an announcement for a pottery show at the local senior center, but even a poster like that would likely include a few photos of pinch pots and mugs. I'm sorry, but it's just ridiculously unprofessional.

Let's talk about contrast. Contrast, especially black and white or complementary colors, attracts our eyes and pulls our attention. Choosing muted pastel pink and yellow achieves the opposite effect. It's nearly invisible to the eye, and therefore the brain. This poster is meant to be subconsciously unimpactful. I took the original poster image (I think BH actually touched it up a bit and made the pink hotter and brighter) and made it black and white just so you can see how little contrast there is.

Some of the most relevant information on the poster - who, what, and where - is absurdly small. The title of an old BTS song and a random date range is the main focus. Jimin is an afterthought.

BRANDING

I talked about this yesterday, so I won't belabor it further, but where is Jimin's branding and cohesive design strategy? The poster has nothing do with either album whatsoever. Again, this is a way to make the announcement invisible because our brains don't associate any of the design elements with Jimin's albums. This is intentional ineptitude. There is no way a company the size of HYBE doesn't know the fundamentals of branding. Look no further than Jungkook's trademarked logo. His announcement poster was full color and full of his face. They know what to do, they just won't do it.

PATTERN

A single poster for an exhibition isn't worth raising your blood pressure over, but it is indicative of a pattern of intentional neglect by HYBE/BigHit. All these small failures cumulatively add up to real damage to Jimin's career and earning potential. It's no big deal, it's just this one oversight/mishandling/mistake. Here's just a tiny fraction of the ways they diminish him on a regular basis -

No Billboard Music Award because the company didn't restock Like Crazy CD singles.

Little to no award nominations. The VMA's 2024 Song of the Summer category being the latest.

Service WHO to radio, but only to Top 40 and not Adult Contemporary or other suitable station platforms, and then do nothing to support it, leaving the burden on fans to request.

Little to no playlisting on Spotify and Apple Music. This is just an egregious fumbling of WHO. Unforgiveable!

All these little transgressions are meant to wear down the fandom over time and subtly minimize Jimin’s popularity. Today's drop to the very bottom of TTH should elicit outrage. It should be trending on Twitter, but it's not, because his fans have now been conditioned to accept the mistreatment and stay quiet. WHO isn't even on K-Pop On! anymore.

HYBE can't go out of business soon enough.

I tbh wasn't at my best during this trip, I had a bit of a not fun ocd episode while traveling and I do feel like I spent most of the trip trying to get back to my baseline okayness - so to my lovely friends and travel partners thanks for being awesome and treating me with kindness!! tbh by the time Jeff was onstage I'd been standing around since 2pm (he got on stage...at 10pm 😭) the things We Do for Barricade. I was soooo sweaty and frazzled by then

it was a very cool set up tho! it was a little music festival, lots of food/etc, and they lit up hot air balloons over our heads

we saw a few performers and slot machine!! who were right before jeff. finally got to see them live and ohmygod did they pop off!! at one point they were in front of us just tearing up the stage for ages, they threw guitar picks at us haha (I did not catch one lol)

and then jeff.....look we all know how that went down

we also wrote a lil letter each and wrapped up some presents to send to jeff. i would like to say it takes 2+ ppl to puzzle out a thailand post box and how to put it together (and there was only 2 of us at that point lol ;.;)

I'm taking this opportunity to info-dump and link a lot of resources. I think they're useful for people new to either typesetting or bookbinding, but not all are directly related to your queries. That said, hope this is of use!

I do a fair bit of editing when I'm binding a fic; typesetting is often the longest part of the process. Your mileage will vary depending on your experience with using word processor software, particularly the paragraph style and page style settings. Another factor is how simple/complicated you want your typeset to look. Replicating a published novel in format is difficult but learnable for a complete beginner.

I'm not equipped to give a full tutorial on how to typeset, but I'll point you towards some useful resources for ficbinding then talk about my own process.

ArmouredSuperHeavy has a tutorial on how to make Ao3's HTML downloads into a printable book in Microsoft Word. I use LibreOffice Writer myself, so this adaptation of the same tutorial is what I follow. Both are very helpful to reference as you're learning the typesetting ropes.

Personally, I don't mess around with HTML. I find it easiest to start by doing a Ctrl+A copy of the Entire Work fic view on Ao3 then pasting that into my word processor. This video tutorial by Beautifully Bound runs through how to do this in Microsoft Word using an AO3 fic as an example, including the associated steps needed to make the fic look novel-like. This is probably the best tutorial to address your gripe with AO3 formatting. Other than that, I'd recommend looking into videos or tutorials about typesetting novels for print. Same idea, and you may get more hits than searching for fanbind/ficbind typesetting tutorials.

More under the cut! Once I start yapping, it's hard to shut me up 🤷‍♀️

As a point of comparison, here's one of my fics on Ao3 and the corresponding typeset side by side:

Beautifully Bound explains this in far better detail than I will, but off the top of my head, the steps involved:

making a new document and setting the default page size to whatever size I want the book's pages to be (A5 or A6 usually). You can also set the margins at this point, taking account of your printer settings.

CTRL+A and copying the entire work's text on AO3 then pasting it into the document.

removing all hyperlinks and AO3 frontmatter, things like the author tags, summary, notes, etc as well as any website text that got copied over alongside the fic.

(optional) running a spell check and ensuring grammar usage is consistent. For me that's substituting em dashes for hyphens between clauses, enforcing curly double quotation marks for dialogue, etc. LibreOffice Writer automates a lot of this with customisable settings, via Tools -> Auto-Correct. Here's also where to make sure character names are all spelled right, convert the text to or from US to UK English, etc.

picking out fonts for the body text, headers, page numbers, etc. This is where you'll want to use paragraph style settings. Page style settings also comes in clutch if, for example, you'd like different headers on alternating pages. I like having the author on the right, the fic title on the left.

setting the body text first line indent to whatever makes sense visually). This in particular helps make the fic feel more like a novel. You can also play around with line spacing and space between paragraphs at this stage. For this A6 typeset, I had a 0.75cm first line indent, 1.15 line spacing, and 0.15 spacing between paragraphs.

(optional) formatting the first line of the work to use small capitals and to add a drop caps to the first letter of the first word. Again, this is a convention in publishing which add a novel-like feeling to a printed fanwork.

Inserting page numbers, adding images, coming up with how I wanted the "copyright" page to look—optional for the most part, but these are details that make a fic appear more like a novel.

For multi-chapter works, there's extra work in formatting chapter titles as headings so that they're referenced correctly in the automatic table of contents word processors can generate.

Once you have a typeset you're happy with, and if you're considering printing and binding it as a book, then you'll need to look into how to create and print signatures. Personally, this is something I had to actually try (and mess up a bunch of times) before I got to grips with it. Understanding how both your printer and your PDF reader work, particularly printer margins and booklet print settings, is key.

I won't go into as much detail on this, but if it's something you have an interest in, I'd recommend starting with DAS Bookbinding's tutorial. DAS has tutorials for everything bookbinding related so when in doubt, check his channel! Plenty of other YouTubers also have good videos on making signatures.

This resource is extremely useful once you've got your head around how to print signatures manually, so here's a link for anyone in that space: GitHub Bookbinding Imposer. Essentially, this does the signature creation for you, removing the need for booklet print settings in your PDF reader.

I have access to both A4 and A5 sized paper and my printer can handle printing on either size. In bookbinding, normally two pages are printed per side of the paper (which are then folded in half as part of a signature). That is, when I print on A4 paper, it's to make an A5 sized book. Printing on A5 paper will yield an A6 sized book.

Before I begin typesetting, I'll usually know what paper I plan to use, so the typeset will be one size down from the paper. So far, I've made softcover pamphlets at A6 size and casebound books in A5. No real method of choice for me, it's whatever I feel most suits the project.

Explanation under the cut so this doesn't take up a bunch of room in the TF2 tag (sorry folks).

There is NOT much space in here. My camper is a '78 btw, Sniper's is a '68 at the youngest which makes it even more cramped.

Also it very much depends on the size of the junk?

If you've been here more than a week you might remember me mentioning something about a GVW/GVWR—"gross vehicle weight" or "gross vehicle weight rating". This is how much weight a vehicle can carry while still maintaining its factory-level performance. LEGALLY, YOU CANNOT OPERATE A VEHICLE OVER ITS WEIGHT RATING. People do it anyway, but it is ILLEGAL and will void any manufacturer's warranty as well.

Now, if we're getting TECHNICAL, cars can take quite a bit over their rating. The rating is just for how well a car can operate in "extreme conditions"—ie, how well it can be controlled while driving over things like ice or rough terrain. By Ford's standards, the max weight that Mattie can bear while still operating reliably to manufacturer-guaranteed standards is 7500#. But if we're being technical, that is a VERY LOW ESTIMATE. Car manufacturers rate them low to avoid liability if someone puts the load higher and loses control. Technically, a '68 F250 alone can handle anywhere from 4000#-5500# in the tray without damage. With Mattie being a Camper Special, she's rated on the further end of that range. So while I won't damage her with my crap, I WOULD be operating a vehicle illegally.

And sure, there's a lot of road laws I don't give a shit about, but I obey them anyway cuz actions have consequences and I like having a driver's licence.

Tilly, the camper alone–

–Weighs 2400# dry. Mattie, the truck you see in the photo, has a GVWR of 7500#. Mattie herself weighs in at around 4100#. This brings the current total weight to 6500#, 1000# under the GVWR. But when you fill up the water tanks in Tilly fully, this bumps our total weight up to 3204# wet.

This gives us a difference of only 196# for the weight of my body (~130#), the weight of Misty (~40#), my clothes (~5#), my food (??, at least ~30# in tinned goods), and any equipment I have, like my rifle (~9#)—which would bring us over the limit.

So I don't fill my water tanks fully. I only keep things I NEED unless the difference is nonlegible (like a lucky coin in my wallet).

All this is to say that no, I don't reckon Sniper would have a lot of junk. He wouldn't risk damage to his vehicle by overbearing it, or risk his Good Driver status by ending up with a revoked licence for overbearing. He might have some bits and bobs stashed away in a lockbox somewhere, but he'd keep the total weight of them fairly low.

Also—telling you right now, wall decor does not last. That shit WILL fall off. The wall decor you see in the photo? Yeah that's hotglued in. And I still have to hotglue it in every few months again. I've tried those sticky frames and shit, nothing works against the bounciness of outback—or California—roads. It's a bitch! Keep in mind that Sniper would have to completely clean off everything on his countertops and stove and put them away in his cabinets in order to not have shit go flying everywhere. Which makes lack of storage even worse, lol

Yeah no worries! It can look pretty unrealistic and too… round or smooth or whatever because i use the rodeoh sport packer or cup packer, which is just a smooth insert that’s kind of like bra padding. There’s absolutely no play with physics because it’s too light to fall :,) You don’t have to buy one on its own btw, as they send one free with every pair of underwear/jockstrap/whatever you get that doesn’t have a crotch hole (don’t quote me on the crotch hole/harness exception, but i know it’s free with all else)

Hey there 👋 Thanks for your message and kind words! Florence here: yes, Dayton introduced me to ABDL early on in our relationship, and even though I'd not experienced or even heard of ABDL before, I was keen to try it!

As we mentioned in a previous post, we didn't try everything at once - it's been a gradual process, with lots of communication, willingness, learning, and time. What we've tried and enjoyed has evolved over the years we've been together, but there have also been periods where we've not engaged with ABDL regularly because of life circumstances.🙂

I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all piece of advice for couples exploring ABDL together, but from personal experience, I'd say it's important to try things gradually. Just be mindful of what you're each comfortable with and not to rush one another.

On bringing up the topic to your partner for the first time: for us, it was through a conversation on what kinks we each have. This meant we were both sharing something, which perhaps made it easier. But in terms of advice, maybe just try not to overwhelm them with too much at once. Start with the general idea "I like the idea of wearing diapers," for example, and go from there. Give them time and let them ask questions at their own pace. 🙂

another key difference between mh and ctd: the way they treat feedback. ctd has indeed made mistakes. to cite some: the initial looble photos for that sports event were whitewashed. the logo was childish. more recently, the comeback date fiasco (which btw! it's always funny to me when ppl blame the company for that but not the girls. they knew the date. for some reason, it escaped everybody involved the importance of the date. but decisions made bc a ceo wants more profits are very different from plain mistakes, and i feel like ppl are having difficulties seeing the divide in that and remembering that companies are made up of people who make mistakes and yes we can say that the looble members are sometimes involved on these mistakes bc them, as everybody else, are humans who make mistakes and who ARE PART OF THE COMPANY....))

anyways, the point is that every time, they (ctd) did better after being called out. the next looble photos were beautiful, and the trend continued for the concepts in the album, namely that more retro one). they updated the logo. the cb date was handled pretty quickly when we take into account the schedules they probs had in place already. the other things, such as the tour size? i doubt that will happen a second time but only time will tell

modhaus on the other hand? the girls seem to trust jj and from what they say about him, he actually gives them plenty of freedom, which only confuses me more, considering that he takes plenty of choices away from them indirectly... but most of the time orbits try to get them to be better, we are ignored time and time again. i think the most stupid example is the pre-order period (i really do not get what's wrong with opening them sooner), but unfortunately, there is quite a list.
