randomish and this might be an unpopular opinion or just something cassies think and never say out loud but i’ve been kinda sensing a disbandment might be coming within the next year or so, their career in korea as a group has been in limbo for a while and the events of last year made it even worse idk i just don’t really see a path for them in korea anymore i feel like they’re gonna do their jpn tour next year finish that maybe release a “special”mini album for the 20th anniversary with a fan meeting and then announce a hiatus which will never end

i mean, there's no real reason for them to actually disband. they can just keep doing solo schedules and performing at smtown, plus whatever toho activities and tours they want, and that's reasonable for a group of their age. since their popularity is waning in kr i think it's very understandable for them to slow down, and now they literally have to bc changmin has a baby and yunho has long covid. but that doesn't mean they have to formally disband or even go on hiatus imo. it's fine to let them live life a bit.

RIN ITOSHI was an actor. Always playing the rude, cold guy. The emotionless, indifferent man who was in fact a broken little boy inside. He was a huge liar. Constantly putting a facade between him and other people. Maybe it was a shield, not to be hurt again. Maybe it was a weapon, not to be approached again. He was lonely. And he knew it very well, deep inside of his slewed heart. But wasn't solitude better than suffering? So he sticked around his old mentra. He had other things to attend to, to think of.

RIN ITOSHI despised you. No- he hated you, with all his guts. You were so annoying; always talking to his teammates, laughing with them as you brought water bottles so they could drink. Could you just do your job without talking for once ? When Ego announced you were going to replace Anri for a few weeks, because she was severely ill, he swore he was going to jump out of the window. It could’ve been anyone else - but no, Ego chose you, you out of all the qualified, useful, and actually smart people out there who wanted the job. Why ? He wasn’t the type to complain, he couldn’t care less, but just seeing you on the field made him feel a boiling anger deep in his stomach, and you felt it the first time you laid your eyes upon him.

"You got a staring problem, perhaps ?", you asked, raising an eyebrow at his staring. He looked so fucking irritating, his cold and condescending gaze fixed on you. Your tone betrayed your harsh thoughts.

"No. Just wondering why you look so boring and annoying even though I’ve never talked to you.", he answered, with a mocking tone - still, his face remained neutral, judgmental even. You scoffed.

"The feeling’s mutual."

Since that day, you two argued with each other constantly. His teammates never seemed to understand why; and Rin was too busy thinking about what comebacks he could said to your petty insults to actually explain them why you were so.. frustrating. He couldn’t understand it either. But seeing your shocked face, your scoffs and your protests, your upset behavior tainted by a sharp words just brought something new in him, something he couldn’t explain with proper words. Joy maybe ? It was fun to tease you. And it was also easy, too.

RIN ITOSHI, in all honesty, took a liking in this little game. He wouldn’t admit it, though. So, when the day came when you stopped answering his bittersweet notes and decided to ignore him, he felt strange. Weird. Why ? Wasn’t it the whole point ? Bore you until you stop to annoy him ? Why was he missing your plain, insignificant comebacks ? Your rude attitude towards him ? And now he was jealous. Jealous to see that his fellow teammates had all your attention. He wanted your attention all to himself. Because what Rin Itoshi wants, Rin Itoshi gets. And there was no way you were going to ignore him longer. He couldn’t bear it.

RIN ITOSHI decided - by his own chef - that it was enough. You were surprised, to say the least, to see Rin in front of you, completely silent, looking at you dead in the eye. You frowned, taking a step back. (Definitely not scared because he was creepy)

"Okay… I don’t think that staring is your only problem, I guess.. Can you-"

"Can you shut up, for once ? I need you for something.", he cut you before you could even finish, and you rolled your eyes. So ignoring him didn’t solve the whole thing.

"So now, you need help ?", you added, amused, "I thought you were a big boy that didn’t need the help of a "unqualified, dumb, assistant","

"I’ve changed my mind. Do you want to be the one to blame if we lose the next game ?"

You weren’t paid enough for this job. So you just sighed, accepting your defeat and your fate. Without further discussion, he dragged you to the gym. And that’s when the whole, well, quite unusual tradition took place at first.

RIN ITOSHI apologized. For his rude behavior, for his sharp words, while he was training in the gym - as you were watching his progression, of course. Every day, you were at the same hour at this exact spot in the gym, talking to Rin as he was training his already sculpted body. He was still teasing you, but this deep boiling anger in his stomach became, day by day, more.. pleasant. Until the day Isagi walked in, interrupting your little chat, and winked at him, murmuring in his ear to "make a move". That’s when he connected the dots. He had feelings for you.

Confessing his feelings was hard. Especially since Anri came back. You were supposed to leave in a few days, and Rin couldn’t help but feel the sting in his heart. Was he going to see you again ? He couldn’t let you go just like that. Not after what you’ve did to him. So the last day, after you had greeted all his teammates, you walked out the door of the Blue Lock’s building, a sigh leaving your lips. He wasn’t there. How foolish to think that maybe, your feelings were reciprocated. You walked away, until something - no, someone, grabbed your wrist. It was Rin. You turned to face him, surprised. You opened your mouth to say something-

"I like you. A lot. Fuck- No. I love you. Don’t go just yet. Please."

And how could you refuse this confession ? (You can’t anyway.)

RIN ITOSHI and you started dating after that. He was a little stiff at the beginning; the man wasn’t used to be loved nor taken care of. So you taught him. Light touches here and there; Rin was a quiet, shy, yet attentive lover. He wasn’t too fond of PDA : first, he didn’t want to include you in paparazzi issues, and second, he wasn’t completely comfortable in public in general. He would put his hand on the small of your back in a crowded street to show you the way, lock your pinkies together all the time, probably press a kiss on your hairline; but that’s all he would do in public.

"This way, love. Careful, we don’t want you to get lost, do we ?"

RIN ITOSHI, in private, is a touch-starved, self-deprived boy who needs your whole attention and affection. Please, cuddle him. Let him be the little spoon, and he would absolutely melt. He’s putty in your hands as soon as you reach for him. Lay down on the couch, with him resting on your chest, your heartbeat lulling him to sleep as you fingers play gently with his hair, softly scratching his scalp just like he likes it. If you stop, he will wake-up in no time; glaring at you with a slight pout on his lips.

"I didn’t know I asked you to stop."

"My hand hurts, Rin."

"Bold of you to assume that I care."

"Please ? Just for 5 minutes.", he added in a whisper after some seconds, practically begging for your touch. His sudden change of attitude caused you to chuckle.

Your plush lips pressed against his, with you sitting on his lap as his hands traveled to the back of your thighs, holding you in place. One arm around his neck, the other hand supporting yourself by grabbing his shoulder, he swears he could spent hours just making out with you. His tongue buried down your throat, bodies grinding and pressed against each other’s as you both let your eager lips devour your love.

He knows exactly what it feels like to have insecurities and to be misunderstood about them, so don’t worry (he’s definitely an overthinker too.) You’re not going to be insecure on his watch. He would reassure you all the time, taking his precious time whispering sweet nothings in your ear, hyping you up. He wants you to be the most comfortable possible around him. Communication is the main key in your relationship. He took some time to finally let down his walls, so he intends you to do the same : without any pressure, of course. You can trust him, he can trust you. You both rely on each other’s back, and you can always count on him for anything. He’s not a man of many words, but for you, he would make an effort.

starting off strong with mr grian minecraft himself (oh wow what a surprise /s)

he tried piercing his own nose in highschool. like. he was THE teenage dirtbag. sneaking out, drinking, smoking, shitty garage band that got nowhere (yes the bad boys was a garage band you c ant change my mind), mcr, pierce the veil, paramore, sexuality and gender crisis, "i know a guy", shoplifting, skipping class, you name it be probably did it with jimmy and joel during freshmen-sophomore year

pearl is his sister, jimmy and lizzie are his cousins (older cousins i should specify. him and pearl are twins but she's the older twin) and they went to the same high school. he met joel through lizzie and jimmy and joel and grian all clicked instantly

joel would stay at jimmy and grians place so much to the point it was like a second home to him and they would all hang out in the basement. joel stayed with his grandparents and helped them out a lot but they passed while he was in his bad boys phase and so he just stayed at grians place a whole lot during his depression (don't worry he's fine now just a little fucked up but they all are)

grian and pearls parents were kinda really shitty (yes i'm also counting yhs lore fuck uou) his whole life and so they got taken by cps and they lived with jimmy and lizzie's parents. and they were much better until he went to japan and all that shit happened (iykyk)

sam made him really realize that like. "oh my fucking god i'm gay. and it's for a damn sociopath. fuck." (that's like half canon)

he and taurtis DID hook up every tuesday thumbs up emoji

his wings didn't start growing in until AFTER senior year (so post japan/yhs incident)

the yhs holds a ceremony thingy for all the people that passed during all that shit and he goes every year and still has rowens glasses and ran into taurtis one year and it was awkward as HELLL but like. it wasn't an awful experience neither of them knew what to say. especially taurtks is bc by then grians wings had already fully grown in and his ass DID NOT recognize him💀

oh yeah also the four of the cousins are all winged animals so grians a parrot, pearl is a moth but like she's one of the super fluffy one (i forgot what they're called), jimmy is a canary (for obvious reasons), and lizzie is a flamingo because. fuck it (also half canary too it's from their mom) but she doesn't have as many features as the others

they all grow feathers (except for pearl) when they're stressed or feel a heightened emotion and have the little winged ears. they still do have actual ears but they grew in behind they're human ears and pearl has the little antennae things on top of her head. lizzie's kind of blends into her hair since yk. pink on pink and they're more folded then fanned out(?) if that makes sense?😭

also just thought abt something grian jimmy and joel all had matching (infected and now faded) stick and poke tattoos that read "bad boys, today, tomorrow and yesterday" but that last part is faded completely since they ran out of pen ink halfway through and jimmys mom came home and they didn't wanna get in trouble (also yes their tattoos are in the same spot as each others it's on the right side of their chest) and let me TELL YOU. lizzie makes fun of joel TO THIS DAY about that tattoo and she likes to trace the words with her finger sometimes when they're cuddling, humming their old songs (he hates it but she still thinks it's absolutely adorable)

grian and mumbo are middle school best friends and he knows everything that happened to grian when he was in japan

grian, scar and mumbo all went to the same high school and mumbo and scar tried making a baking club called (you're never gonna believe this) the buttercups but grian was supposedly "too cool for that fairy shit" but would hang out during lunch with them and go to the meetings and help buy the ingredients and also help bake with them for extra credit and so would jimmy and joel. for extra credit of course

tango, mumbo and impulse were all in the computer club and coding club in highschool. doc was their teacher and cub was the senior teachers assistant trying to get early college credit

jimmy had the FATTEST crush on tango while they were in high school (yes they all went to the same highschool shut up) and tried impressing him by "making" a robot (mumbo made it and gave him the remote and told him to push two single buttons) and he pushed them in the wrong order and it short circuited and it almost exploded. he got suspended for a month and the only reason he didn't get expelled was because tango said it was his and it was a project. he complemented "jimmys" robot and said it had nice coding and a bunch of other nerd /aff terms that didn't make ANY sense to jimmy (that was his way of confessing but jimmys too stupid /aff to understand it at the moment so tango thought he didn't like him back) and when jimmy was talking to grian and joel about it they were yelling at him about how "JIMMY YOU IDIOT HE LIKES YOU BACK" and "WHAT'D YOU SAY? YOU SAID YOU LIKED HIM TOO RIGHT?" to which he (of course) responded with

"NO?? I DONT SPEAK NERD JOEL HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW??"

also tango wears a feather jimmy gave to him as an earring and has kept that earring since they started going out which was like sophomore year or smth like that

they also had an exact conversation to joel before lizzie asked him out (and she also proposed too fight me)

i can go on for HOURS about those three but i'm gonna a do stuff about martyn now because. omg. he drives me CRAZY

martyn LOVES necklaces, rings, bracelets. he has a matching necklace and/or bracelet with all his four (4) friends that consisted of scott and the bad boys. he still has them as an adult and holds onto the charm when he misses them which is all the time (i love martyn angst evil laugh)

A/N - I haven't actually done one of these before, so I'm sorry if it's awful!

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) I think it's safe to say that Sebastian is all over you much more than what's period-appropriate. He's always got an arm around you, either your shoulders or your waist. He's possessive and it's his way of letting everyone know that you're his. In private are a lot sweeter because they're just for the two of you. He loves cuddling with you and he is a big fan of kisses.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) I think we know he's not exactly the greatest best friend, but he cares really deeply even though he goes about everything wrong. You would be getting up to mischief with him all the time constantly bombarded by things he's learned from reading the restricted section. You wouldn't be bored with him.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) He loves cuddling with you lying on top of him or him on top of you. He just wants to be encompassed by you. He needs to have his hands on you at all times but also loves being able to see your face so that's why this cuddling position is a must for him.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) I don't see him as being a bad cook at all. In fact, as well-read, as he is I think he's learned a thing or two. He picks things up really easily too. I think he would settle down in an ideal world, but I'm just not sure he's capable of doing that for himself. He's always got to be doing things that help him search for his purpose, so domesticating him really wouldn't be the easiest. Even as a life partner, you would be traveling all the time.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) He would be the type to either start completely ignoring you and avoiding you or be so incredibly mean about it that you wouldn't even think of talking to him again. That's how he would go about it especially if you still meant something to him, but he had some reason to insist you needed to be apart. If he never cared that much or it was never serious for him, he would probably come right out with it pretty bluntly. And this may come off as mean because he makes no effort to sugarcoat anything, but it's the most amicable he's got.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) I think he would be quick to desire being engaged and maybe pop the question, but shrink back from getting truly married right away. He would be happy to claim you as his and ensure you're wearing a ring all the time. When he starts actually thinking about the idea of commitment and what marriage means, especially in the 1890's he might start to psych himself out and get cold feet.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) I don't think that Sebastian and 'gentle' can even go in the same sentence. Emotionally, he's an absolute trainwreck. So any relationship with him is going to be a roller coaster with steep drops and twists and turns all over the place. He's not good at talking about his feelings, he's the absolute opposite of gentle if you're in a disagreement. Physically, when he's giving you affection or having any other kind of interaction like dueling, he's probably a little closer to gentle. Still, he's not the type to be thinking past his next move too much so he's not going to be thinking about accidentally hurting you or anything.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) He does like hugs and is a big fan of hugging you from behind. His favorite thing to do is to take you by surprise to see if he can scare you or not. His hugs are warm and filled with his heady scent. He's a bulky guy so his embraces tend to be tucking you into his chest or shoulder and enveloping you.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) He either says it way too early on by mistake or is so reluctant to say it you almost fear he never will. There's no in-between.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) Jealous? YES. He's possessive and protective over you and when his own insecurities flare up too, it's a recipe for disaster with him. He's pretty likely to cause an embarrassing scene for you over things that may be trivial. He's going to misread casual situations all the time. He's usually angrier with whomever you were with than you, but on occasion, he can take his frustrations out on you.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) His kisses are warm and urgent. He's got pretty full lips that he loves to overtake yours with. He's always ready to kiss your lips, but he loves kissing intimate parts of your body that are reserved just for im

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) He falls into place easily around children, even if he's nervous at first. He lost enough of his own childhood to more serious events that it's second nature for him to be childish and playful.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Mornings are spent trying to drag him out of bed. Probably getting his clothes out and ironed for him and getting his breakfast together before he's even willing to think about getting up. If you remain in bed with him, he's much more likely to be convinced to get him if you tell him sweet nothings and give him a few kisses.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) Nights are when he is the most lively. He has a lot of late nights studying things or planning new endeavors. He enjoys going out with you to find local festivities so the two of you can relax and just have fun. He also enjoys a good night in with you where you steal his attention away with a good meal and some card or board games.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) He's open with you once he trusts you. And depending on how you meet and what he already knows about you will determine how quickly that happens. Once the flood gates open he's dumping all of his intense trauma on your way before telling you more fun anecdotes that reveal his personality.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) Very easily angered and easily prepared to overreact to the feeling.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) Sebastian would remember a lot of irrelevant details about you and then forget something important. He's definitely clueless to you dropping any kind of hints, so don't expect that to work on him.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) His favorite moment in your relationship would probably be a time you got into some insane fight over things that didn't make much sense. And yet you both end up superheated, absolutely fuming, until something goofy happens and you're both cackling with each other and making fun of what had you upset in the first place.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Very protective and likes to think he's a great physical protector and that you must need him. He protects you by swooping into social situations where he thinks you're being harassed or when you're out together just remaining very close to you ready to push you behind him at all times.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) He would put reasonable efforts into anniversaries. The longer they were the more he would be excited to try and come up with something that would surprise you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Lord, the man is a walking red flag. His temper isn't good and he says a lot that he doesn't mean to try and get his way in situations, whether it's hurtful or not. Gaslighting and manipulating are his bad habits, not my fault they're the absolute worst.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) He's pretty concerned with his looks even though he tries to come off that he's not. He's got the messy, fluffy hair that actually takes quite a bit of time to make look perfect; he in fact does not wake up like that. When it comes to clothing, he does make an effort to dress nicely, but he's not nearly as concerned with things like wrinkles or fabric being slightly askew. At the end of the day, he has more important things to focus on than how his clothes look.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) Most definitely. Even if he treats you like a menace, he's bound to be lost without you. He needs your advice, even if he doesn't listen. He needs to know you're going to be there when he's ready to apologize for whatever wrong he's done you.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) Sebastian is most definitely the blanket hog that always claims it wasn't him.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) Sebastian is not really into being told what to do all the time. He's down to hear your opinion on things or your side of some kind of situation, but he feels like Solomon tells him what to do enough and he can't stand to be put in a box like that. It wouldn't keep him from developing feelings for you, but it would cause you to but heads A LOT.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) A sleep habit of his is to be sure that the bed curtains are drawn. Then he will get comfortable and loosen a few buttons on his nightshirt before turning in for the night.

There's a very annoying trend I am seeing on tumblr lately where people are calling Padme 'crazy', 'insane' or even 'a freak'....all because she chooses to be with Anakin. I'm sorry, what??? Padme is not crazy, nor is she a 'freak' for falling for him. To claim so is to totally misunderstand Padme's character and her love for Anakin. She is not somehow 'turned on' by his flaws and she doesn't view him as some kind of 'bad boy'. Nor does she just pretend he's not flawed simply because she finds him attractive. She sees his flaws quite clearly...but she ALSO sees his good qualities, and GENUINELY LOVES HIM. 

Is someone ‘insane’ or a ‘freak’ for loving a flawed but good-hearted person? Is someone 'crazy' for being compassionate and forgiving towards them? Not only is such a mentality deeply unfair and dismissive, but it also stems from fandom completely misunderstanding Padme’s character, motivations, and the development of her feelings for Anakin in the first place. I get the sense that people want to oversimplify Padme in their minds into some kind of ‘yass queen slay’ girlboss (simply because she’s a fashion icon who cares about democracy), and thus the fact she ‘strays’ even slightly from this imagined ‘girlboss-hood’ can only mean one thing…that she must have totally lost the plot, become unhinged, or gone insane. (Feels so insulting to even type that out, omg.) In reality, Padme is simply a young woman (she is 24 in AotC) who finds herself in a position of great responsibility, and who has been living with the weight of her entire world on her shoulders since she was a CHILD. She had originally planned to retire from public service after her time as queen was over, and only continued to serve in a political capacity because her successor, Queen Jamillia, asked her to. While she certainly cares about the Republic, deep down she wishes she could start a family of her own. All of this is already on her mind before she even reunites with Anakin at the beginning of AotC. Despite the fact that Anakin and Padme come from very different backgrounds, they are both in very similar positions at the beginning of that film. Both have commitments/careers in which they are expected to serve the Republic, and yet both are feeling that something is missing in their lives. Deep down, they are both longing for love and family. And while they care about each other’s respective careers and are supportive of one another, they also wish to be together. And on top of it all, there’s the fact that...Anakin genuinely loves Padme. She senses the depth and sincerity of his feelings, and this is one of the reasons she ultimately decides to be with him. She knows that he truly sees her, and loves her for herself, not just for her position. 

If that is seen as ‘unhinged’ on Padme's part, then that is a very depressing indictment of how hypocritical fan attitudes can be. Somehow fandom can understand and accept various other characters in Anakin’s story as being able to love him, but not Padme? It’s also baffling because fictional stories are FULL of examples of compassion towards monsters, villains, and antagonists, and yet somehow Padme loving Anakin (who is neither of these at this stage in the story) is beyond people's comprehension. Anakin Skywalker is a tragic hero. And as such he has both positive qualities, as well as flaws that lead to his downfall. But the point is that he is not without positive qualities. People need to realise that their view of everything that happens in the Prequels-era is coloured by dramatic irony. We, the audience, know what is going to happen. We know that Anakin will become Vader. But the characters don’t know any of this. They are just reacting to their immediate situations, circumstances, and interactions with one another armed only with the knowledge of the present moment. So even Anakin’s flaws and mistakes are not something that overrides the rest of his positive qualities from the perspective of someone like Padme, who genuinely loves—and is loved by—him.

I have received a hurtful message saying that they hate how home is being made out to be a bad guy, and how they're starting to hate wally because of specific things I have said or done in my videos, that were requested by someone else.

These are FAN made, they're not MEANT to be cannon information. I'm NOT the creator, I don't work with the creator, i don't work with the voice actors of the characters. Nothing I do or say is accurate to the actual story of welcome home, it's NOT supposed to be. I'm not trying to induce theories, I make these for fun. They're alternative universe ideas, or simply audios of things people want to hear me say or do in wally's voice.

This message upset me deeply, as I have asked just yesterday not to message me personally and get snippy with me, or complain. And receiving those hurtful words, made me feel sick.

I know this may seem harsh.. But I truly do not care if you dislike wally, the welcome home fanbase, or if you love home to the core of your being. That is you, I personally do not hate home AT ALL, I'm simply making an audio based on Someone's REQUEST. None of that information is TRUE.

Now if I make a mistake, I will absolutely 100% try and correct it to the best I can. But it is NOT my fault if you hate wally, and NOT my fault if you hate my videos. If you are so genuinely disgusted by my work, block me. You can Block me. You do not have to come messaging me telling how much you hate my work, and blame me for you forming your own negative opinion on something.

I am so genuinely tired, I hate when people get mad at me, typing this out right now I am genuinely shaking. This is why I put trigger warnings in my videos, because if you hate the kind of stuff that will be in that specific video.. I ENCOURAGE You to NOT watch it. If you do, that is NOT my fault.

I'm not the only person who's made videos of alternate universes, where home IS the bad guy. It's not cannon, WE KNOW that nothing like that has been confirmed. My videos are not theories, they are fanmade material. I'm not trying to encourage people to hate home, I'm simply fulfilling a REQUEST I was GIVEN, by somebody else. There are people who want to see content where home is the bad guy, that doesn't make it cannon.

I understand this is alot of repeating information, and I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh or insensitive.. But I'm tired of having people cross over my boundaries, just to tell me how much they hate something or hate me for simply doing impressions of a character. If i make a mistake I will fix it, But i haven't because NOWHERE in my videos is there meant to be anything saying "oh this is cannon! This actually happened!" or "this might be the story behind welcome home!" that is not my intention of these videos. Hypnovember Day 8: Addicted

There was a study she had read in college.

(He might have read it too.)

There were 4 groups of rats. Each one would push a lever and get a food reward. Some rats would get rewarded every time they pushed. Some would get rewarded every other time or every three times. For the last group of rats, their reward was completely random- there was no predictable pattern to when a reward might happen.

Then the food stopped. The first group of rats- the ones who usually always got rewarded- were the first to stop pushing the lever and to go about their regular ratty business. Then the second group. Then the third.

The last group, though, never gave up on the possibility of food. They would anxiously push their little levers over and over, fruitlessly waiting on a reward that would never come again.

She had felt sorry for them. Poor, stupid rats. If only they had known the trap they were in- surely then they could find the will to pull themselves free.

How could she have known differently?

"Hi," she typed in her message to him. "I know you said you'd get in touch with me this week. FYI I'm around all day today if you want to talk!"

Paused.

He had been a dream answered at first. A famous, well regarded hypnotist was somehow interested in her- an anonymous internet fan. She had never expected a response when she had messaged him about his file but- not only had he thoughtfully answered her questions, he had asked her some back. Why was she interested in hypnosis? What got her started? What was she struggling with? What did she want to experience?

A few rounds of messaging back and forth had led to a call. And THAT call had led to her first actual experience being hypnotized-an incredible one. She felt deep and dreamy and oh so submissive. It had been everything she had hoped it would be- and more. She hadn't expected the praise, especially, to flow over her the way it did- how obedient she was, how pretty like this, what a natural subject- but she soaked it in like a flower soaking in sunshine.

It had felt meaningful.

Important.

After that, they were in constant contact. They sent stories back and forth. Fantasies. Dreams. He was the only one she had truly been able to open up to about her hypnofetish and her desires to be controlled. She wanted it so much- that freedom to let go and let herself be molded. And how could she want anyone else, anyway? Day after day they exchanged text messaged. Text trances. Video calls. He hypnotized her over and over- making her more and more his. There wasn't room for anyone else in her deeply programmed psyche. She could feel his thoughts and influence constantly in her head- changing and building her even while she slept. It was like she was a project they were both working on together.

It felt like being owned.

It felt like love.

Then just as surely as the flood started- it stopped.

At first, the lack of communication made sense. He was sick, he said, and couldn't respond easily to messages. He still texted her frequently though- maybe not for trance, exactly, but at least to let her know he was ok. He'd talk about what was going on his life and she'd tell him what was happening in hers. It felt intimate in a different way. She appreciated his thoughtfulness.

Then he was traveling.

Then he needed some alone time.

Of course she was understanding of all of this. What friend wouldn't want their friend to travel? To have time to recover? She would be selfish to demand otherwise- for the sake of a silly kink, no less. She sent messages of support and understanding throughout the day. When he mentioned bad mental health stuff, she offered to help him look up therapists in his area.

No need, he wrote back. I'm just going through some things.

And when he started releasing files again? She was overjoyed! Finally he was back to doing what he loved. Maybe that meant he was getting better?

She was relieved. Despite being a good understanding sub, she had really started to feel anxious without him. Part of their dynamic was that she craved to hear his voice, that she needed to have his conditioning in her head. She felt a bit distressed going without it for so long. His new files, at least, were giving her something to hold onto. They weren't personal to her and their dynamic, of course, but the suggestions and mantras in them gave her some of the hot submissive feelings she had grown to crave.

It felt so good.

She understood, of course. He had always been thoughtful about her safety.

So it continued.

Occasionally she would see his interactions on social media with others. (Not that she hunted for those.) (Too much.)

For instance, he seemed quite drawn to a new girl named Hypnohunty lately. They publicly interacted all the time. She felt a pang of jealousy about this- strong jealousy, hot and sharp like a knife- but she also felt embarrassed by it. There really was no room for jealousy in their relationship. After all, she had knowingly agreed to be in a polyamorous relationship with him. And she didn't want to feel badly towards Hypnohunty, who was new and friendly and seemed sweet (whoever she was).

Improving her jealous personality had even been an consented-to part of her submissive conditioning. Her Sir frequently worked with her (when he worked with her) to help her feel more compersion towards his other submissive partners. After all, sharing was caring and there really weren't enough Doms to satisfy all the needy submissive girls out there. There was no place for her kind of insecurity in healthy kink.

She'd just have to be better at getting his attention.

Sometimes one of her messages would break through. He'd send her a smiley or a fire emoji when she described a hot fantasy. They'd go a few weeks in a row without him canceling their weekly call. They'd even do hypnosis sometimes- when he was up for it.

Then, there would be periods of nothing.

Which is what seemed to be happening now.

Sorry for not saying anything for the past day. I've been trying to gather my thoughts and feelings over the whole situation. I'm not even sure what to say since I'm usually the "listen quietly and give small indications that I'm listening while someone vents" type of comfort. I'm afraid I'll say the wrong thing and make things worse for you. If simply mentioning the situation brings you back to a bad mind-space, please ignore this then and go about your day.

But I want to say that I love your analysis, the passion you have, and hope this situation didn't take away what appears to be something you enjoy doing for any other character you like to analyze. What happened was too far. Whether it was targeted to someone else or you, in the end people got hurt and you were one of them. You deeply connected to a character and worried for them, that's not something to be ashamed of. Whether you're right or wrong, that was your personal interpretation and it's not like you made a petition to make your interpretation true and harassed others. If it somehow came off that way to other people, the situation could have been handled better. Again, sorry being quiet until now. We're new mutuals and I wasn't sure if I should say anything. Just some things about me:

By the way this is my first ever Tumblr post. I'm a new guy so I'm the newbie dumbass. I'm a massive fan of MDA Raincode, Danganronpa, Monster Hunter alongside other video games. I actually research multiple video games and really look into any new characters that catch my interest.

Usually I've been in the dark because I don't use many forms of social media (I was raised strictly so I wasn't allowed to talk to anyone online until I was 19 in 2019) so yeah... I'm an internet hermit. I first had a taste of online socialising when I created a YouTube account to talk in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate streams I was taking part in. Then from there I joined Discord just so that I could remain in contact with my friends I made there. However after years of struggling with fitting into online communities I've had no choice but to back away from people due to my health. Having social anxiety really doesn't help, plus I'm autistic so I really struggle with a lot of basic things people can do easily. (For example instructions have to be simplified for me so that I can understand them step by step).

I'm a gamer who loves multiple video games but always struggles with talking about my passions wherever I go. People find me annoying, see me as a spammer (especially as I love posting memes I find on the internet just to spread joy and try to make people laugh) and ban me from community servers because I'm too emotional (when I feel low I have a bad habit of venting just so someone can show some kind of support, as I don't talk to anyone in reality. Unfortunately there's a lot of people who can't stand people like me, since my depression is triggering for them, so they throw me out, never speaking to me again.

This of course made me feel worse about myself and I've been isolating myself. Due to my lack of socialising (I've always had problems with making friends) I find peace with the characters I fall in love with in video game. Mostly because I can relate to them. I believe that everyone has their mains. Their number one character(s) they love the most. That's the main reason why I love the games I play.

I'm going to give Tumblr a go. I know that people often use this place for fanart however, I'm a really terrible artist so I won't post any of mine. Also I'm extremely reluctant in showing off any random fanart I find online because I learnt the hard way that it's extremely rude to just post other people's art without crediting them. I'm deeply sorry.... I didn't get a manual of online art posting etiquette so I was completely clueless and I'm permanently ashamed of it. It was because I was so used to copying and pasting any nice pictures I saw online onto my private discord server. So I wasn't used to big communities (an example of my dumb brain however it's wired differently and I take things literally so I'm just not going to post any fanart whatsoever in public) yes.. I am terrified of being told off, and it's got only worse after getting banned from four discord video game communities. I'm also an ex mod so I can tell whenever a server mod is more into status than actually caring for the community.

I'm sick of explaining everything about myself as a human being who just happened to be born a little bit different than most people who spend their whole lives on social media. I'm sensitive, outspoken and I just want a place in the gaming community who will just accept people like me. I'm the kind of person who speaks their mind and when upset or angry I tend to say nasty things at people but I immediately regret it.

At least here i can just post random crap that's on my mind. About my favourite video games and characters while people can choose whether they want to hang out or not.

I'm a kind hearted person who looks out for everyone. I allow people to vent if ever they feel sad or alone. I hate to see people get hurt and I'd love to see them get well ❤️‍🩹. I will never push anyone away just because they are being too "triggering" while I understand that these things can upset other people it still doesn't make it right to criminalise the person who is in need of support from other humans. Treat others how you'd want to be treated. Yes I do talk about deep topics if I must, I am into horror game lore after all so I've heard it all. However hopefully I'll warn everyone if something I'm about to talk about is too dark.

I'm going to say this as well. I apologise if I type too much. Because of the way I am I go into as much detail about pretty much everything as possible. Yes, I've had nasty comments about it.

I DO make videos on YouTube but at the moment I've shut myself down from it. Hopefully if I feel better I'll open it up again.

Okay, so BIG SPOILERS AHEAD (metion of them, but not explicit) and lots of text ________

So let me start by saying, usually, as a gay person myself - I've been in this situation. When you clearly have a dynamic between friends of the same gender but it's written much more deeply and with the care and with the actual tropes that get used for het couples and filled with love (and that word gets thrown around, but like, we talking about any kind of love). That happens. But what also happens - is that writers / devs usually never confirm these. Fans and fandom do more job of putting lgbt rep into something that originally doesn't really have it or hidden in narrative (pushed, that also common with censoring) and then act like devs or writes or show runners own them something they invented. Again, it's a complex issue, because sometimes authors take time or have to push for relation ships (LoK / adventure time) and sometimes authors take credit for the ships fans popularised (that one supergirl show comes to mind???) However, in Bayojeanne cause, I can kind of see where people coming from because: a) Bayo herself is an ambiguous character, people been saying for ages that she's bi coded (i can't speak on that honestly) b) Kamiya called Bayonetta and Jeanne couple - not a pair, not duo, and compared them with other couples (that also semi-canon / canon)

c) a lot of promo material art, just as concept art depicted them in way that would couples would. especially couples that have "different side of the coin" dynamic and that complement each other some examples: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

Fanservice? Sure. Still. A thing that did happened. d) the scenes they had were also common for couples, shots on the reaching hands (the recent one i can think about with cloud and tifa in ff7remake), bayonetta holding jeanne "bride" style, bayonetta holding jeanne when saving her soul (do i need to mention how later they did that scene in familliar way with luka and bayo but just without the kiss, riiiight) and like, i could go on, but you get the idea

I can see your hangouts and one-on-one stuff starting... almost awkwardly? But in an endearing way! You're not sure what to say, he's not sure what to say, so he's got his headphones on, but soon he's taking one off his ear to talk about music and stuff with you, awkwardly asking, maybe a tad bit too loud, if you know of band xyz, or like song abc. Even if your music tastes are different I think it's a good foot to start with, and he definitely listens to any and all songs you recommend.

I think the first time you hit him with some blunt teasing over whatever drink he got from a vending machine really catches him off guard, but he finds that hilarious. Hit Enomoto with similar teasing and he thinks you're the funniest person ever. Now, he won't say that, but once you and Enomoto finish going at each other about drinks and types of coffee that's better, you see that he's silently listening, a little smirk on his face as he tries not to be caught.

He'd also love the fact that you bake, again, not admitting it. Bake him some cookies? Mans is even redder than Sakura. Later he would definitely hang out while you bake, too afraid to touch anything, but he's got his music hooked up to some speaker and has created a playlist just for you.

Also, he would think your style is the coolest thing. Like ever. Like mouth open when he first sees you for a date/hangout, lollipop almost falling onto the ground. Also loves it cause it means he can lend you his sweaters/hoodies and they fit your vibe, so you're comfortable, stylist, and wearing his clothes.

Good luck with TV shows though, the different animes he may be willing to sit down and watch with you, but I feel if he sat to watch Bridgerton with you he'd fall asleep. Not intentionally, but it's just not his style. He'd also lowkey be jealous over whatever love interest you find cute/attractive. Just pouts through his sucker.

I love that you differentiated between different types of crossovers, bc yeah it makes a difference. I'm not really a fan of these - when it comes to crossovers where characters from two different canons interact, I prefer some kind of handwavey magic/same universe explanation. I feel like it loses most of the fun if the characters aren't meeting for the first time with their own unique histories, but rather half are just born into the other canon in an AU way.

amnesia

This really depends. I really dislike amnesia as a trauma response (sorry Mash, you did it well but I'm still not that into it), and I dislike buried memories that reappear for drama (sorry Mash), and I really really dislike it as a plot device to insert stuff into a character's backstory or explain away continuity issues.

But I can definitely enjoy amnesia when it's used for character/relationship study - eg a character hits their head and acts unlike themselves and we discover which of their personality traits are deeply ingrained and which are more of a put-on, and/or we get to see how their partner reacts. And I am an absolute sucker for a specific amnesia trope in which character A makes friends with/takes care of an amnesiac character B, and A and B are enemies.

FINALLY have some time to sit and type. Hopefully this goes through this time, or i'm going to pull my hair out!! lol.

I love Xavier and Wednesday's relationship and hope they explore it more next season. Don't get me wrong I am 100% a Tyler and Wednesday fan they are in love, however Xavier and Wednesday have this bond that goes deeper than a friendship in someway they need each other and help each other but Xavier has confused that bond with love which isn't there. I think for Xavier as soon as he saw Wednesday he saw the girl who saved his life when they were kids and all these feelings came back up which has confused him and he needs to work through them and realise it's not love though they do care very deeply for one another through the series you see Wednesday go to him for guidance often also cause she trusts him and cares about what he thinks. What do you think? (this is much shorter to the one I sent originally but I can't remember all I wrote pmsl)

Um okay so you might be disappointed in this response and I'm sorry about that! I'm firmly on the side of aroace Wednesday who had no interest in being in a relationship at all so all the shipping stuff going on kind of just annoyed me a little bit. I mean she flat out stated "I will never fall in love or be a housewife or have a family" and then spent the rest of the show being annoyed at all these boys trying to date her. All the romance stuff going on just annoyed her the whole time and then at the end of the season she's suddenly "into" Tyler? It was weird to me. I'd have preferred a whole season (or show) without any romantic relationships for Wednesday at all. I think I agree with you that Xavier was confused over what he maybe felt for Wednesday but Wednesday....man Wednesday barely thought of him as a friend most of the time and I felt like Xavier was kinda pushy with his feelings and I got annoyed on Wednesday's behalf. My girl is just trying to solve a murder. Leave her be. Same with Tyler. These dudes keep pushing romantic feelings toward her and she did not give a crap about it all. They were suspects and that's it until like the last couple of episodes when she began to realize they were friends or could be friends and that having friends is good. Especially once she knew it was Tyler the whole time and Xavier wasn't the bad guy. I'm sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear from at all. I do look forward to seeing more of Wednesday and Xavier in the next season. I want to see Wednesday explore and engage in friendships. Something she's never had before and now she has several people with whom she can form true friendships with and I love that. Enid, Bianca, Eugene, Xavier, and maybe even Tyler at some point cause that boy has been tortured and brainwashed and I want him to get help.

So yeah I'm fully on the aroace Wednesday who needs to learn about being a friend before anything else.
