I MEAN IT I MEAN IT!!!!! tbh this is probably mostly bcuz we are just silly kids who share minds maybeeee……also most mainstream books have BORING stuff like. eugh. sex. and romance…you ACTUALLY make your characters FUN and give them COOL DYNAMICS and arent mentioning gender and sexuality or any of that every FIVE SECONDS..youre also not as indirect i think im not very fond of indirectness espexially if its with GWNDER AAHAAAHAHHDHAHA YOU ALREADY MENTIONED THAT SHES FEMALE THIRTY SIX TIMES WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THE SCENE THE MOMENT THE PLOT???? okay sorry i got a little too pasionate there i just have really strong opinions

anywho youre characters are very silly and relatable i love how you structure them and all of that!!! theyre very realistic to me…and even id they arent theyre super cool and honeatly PERSONALITY ENVY

this is long let me break this up..

i get inspiration from fanfiction mainly (and books that I enjoy.. sometimes shows and manga, it's where i get my ideas...)

i mean, i don't mind the raunchier things and stuff but i know others aren't a fan of that, so i like to push on the side where there's less of the hot and heavy topics.. i like adding mildly suggestive aspects though to expand my writing

romance is something im okay at.. i think??? i can WRITE it fairly okay in my opinion but i don't usually push it as the most important thing in a storyline — unless it's really necessary

love interests are pretty fascinating.. depending on how people write them into a story, that is — i like to have my characters think about them in different ways

for example, if zephyr is doing something, he probably isn't thinking about his love interest at all. it's usually just him thinking about himself and the aftermath/consequences

but someone like.. let's say, azriel, he's got xen on his mind every now and then.. not all the time, but a moderate amount — he's not always gushing over him, but he likes to think about what xen would do if he was in azriel's shoes

gender and sexuality is just whatever comes to me in the moment.. i usually just take from other existing characters and then build up from that because it's easier for me!!

my characters are just.. there at the end of the day.. like ciel & nyx, they may not show up at the library as much, but they're still around new county somewhere, still in school for that matter

every character i create will always get some sort of expansion, no matter how little i talk about them — usually their looks are similar to personality, or its the opposite.. i like to play around with dynamics and sometimes use pinterest for inspiration

the simplest of photos can reflect a person's personality quite easily in my opinion..
