I wrote more about Yakov in my telegram channel and I will be short here. For the reference I took Slivko's story (take a look on his cr*mes). But tbh I only took str^ngulation and filming part of his story bc thought it would match Jacob's character.

The mural is made from a traditional Italian mosaic style called Smalti. Small, hand cut glass pieces make up the colors of the mural.
