Ahem. Biollante is female, and carries a lot of Godzilla DNA, which is more apparent with her final form. A notable trait she gets is the spike/tusks near the back of the mouth, which isn't something we see outside of her...and one other. Spacegodzilla ALSO gets those spikes, which is a very specific trait to get from Biollante. I wish to posit that those tusks are something sexually dimorphic about the Godzilla species. We know Biollante is female, and while they use masculine pronouns for Spacegodzilla, how do they know? With Godzilla, they've had time to study him, so they'd know he's a male, but Spacegodzilla? I think they're just assuming, and what does Spacegodzilla do? Try to remove the offspring and fight Godzilla, which could be interpreted as a female removing an obstacle and then showing her strength to court a mate, she just didn't expect Godzilla to care about Junior so much, and whether Spacegodzilla got DNA from Biollante or Mothra, both of THEM are female, and undoubtedly influenced the creation of Spacegodzilla! Additionally, Miregoji, presented as female in Godziban, and often headcanoned as a grown up Junior, has very bright pink spines, so I ALSO posit that bright colors are another sexually dimorphic trait of the Godzilla species! Backed up by Spacegodzilla, who while not a normal member of the species, is still corroborating evidence! As is some of Biollante's colors, such as her stomach and flowers.
