For those of us in the business of preserving and sharing history, finding something like this, related to an exceptional event and a stirring speach, is particularly exciting.  It’s one thing to know it exists, but something entirely different to have it available to examine.  It’s usually through grants that archives, libraries, and museums are able to digitise these kinds of things.  In this case, it was a big one from AT&T to the FDR Library that made this, and thousands of other documents available.
