Sometimes you don't need someone to give you answers but someone to understand why you are questioning, sometimes you don't need someone to calm your fears but just someone to give you the right to be afraid for a while, sometimes you don't need a voice to correct your non sense but rather holds your hands while you are being a mess, sometimes you don't need someone to stop your tears but rather someone to hug you and cry with you, from time to time we all need someone to accept us, swollow our insecurities and weirdness, someone who allow us to heal with time while they are just by our side, but most of all you need someone to trust they will accept all of you, even when they don't understand it.

The Ayahuasca Foundation team is blessed to have these beautiful souls, Nick and Flavia, working together at the Riosbo Ayahuasca Retreat and Research Center. Nick is the manager and his calm demeanor sets the tone for the peaceful environment and staff dynamics. His guidance, assistance, and incredible talent are appreciated by every program participant. He is loved by all who know him, but none as much as his partner, Flavia. Flavia keeps the center clean and well maintained, amd with earthquakes and lightning strikes damaging the center last year, that is quite a feat. Together, this inspiring duo make sure the retreats are profound transformational experiences. I feel grateful to know them, and so blessed to call them my friends. After my previous post I had this nagging voice in my mind to write an open message to someone that made an impact on my life in such a short moment. I've  been through a very dark period in my life not so long ago and I know what it's about when you need the support of your loved ones but they find it a burden to be there for you emotionally. As a phoenix rising from the ashes I got through it with the most beautiful souls in my life and honey I'm there if and when you need me... ...just reach out and touch... This is for you gorgeous you'll know who you are if and when you read this: The most important, yet often hardest, lesson in our journey of life is trust.  For the ego, the journey appears totally irrational.  How is it possible to trust something or someone that seems so intangible or volitile? How do you learn trust?  There is no easy route to trust. If you find yourself lacking trust, it’s because your heart is not fully open at that moment. Almost every time you are triggered, you are likely to be dealing with the issue of trust, whether it's a primary or secondary issue.  The universe is showing you sign after sign.  You are feeling it in your energy flow.  Everything is wonderful and your sense of trust is at a high.  Then something that doesn’t meet your expectation happens. Wham Bam…you are swearing going into anxiety mode, trying to run, not knowing what to do and you are convinced you’ve been wrong to put one ounce of trust in this situation or person. These ups and downs are part of growth. You go back into patterns of victimization to protect yourself from getting hurt. You’ve gotten used to the habit of closing your heart when you feel uncomfortable but do you really need to do that anymore when you have a solid in your corner? Your ego will try and get you to stay were you feel safe but you can’t fly if you are afraid to leave the ground!  Trust in that solid and you'll get through this... It was at that time that I realized I no longer wish to own him, I want him to be happy more than anything, I wish peace would find his way to his soul always, I need to know he will be ok no matter how his life gets dark, I wish he would grow better and sane, that he will always have the ability to have his personel space, his freedom because his heart is choked when emprisoned, I hope he meets people who knows how he carries so much cruelty, darkness but with a rare mixture of tenderness and enlightenment, I pray that when our roads drift apart he would know my wishes will never change, at that very moment I realized I did truly love him.
