Kyle's behavior in Casa Bonita is genuinely one of my favorite examples of him being a bit fuckin obsessed with Cartman/the idea of fixing Cartman.

So the first thing Kyle does in this episode is enter the room excitedly announcing that he is able to invite 3 of his friends to his birthday party to his only 3 friends. Then he tells one of them they actually aren't inviting them. So first things first. No one in their right mind does that, not unless they want to get a specific reaction out of that person when letting them know they aren't invited.

Kyle also appears to be angry when Cartman says that he wants to go to Casa Bonita specifically, and not his birthday.

Also the little instance of his crossing his arms and looking away while saying "sorry my minds made up" seems like a normal thing but looking at it in tandem with the rest of his behavior this episode I think it screams "my minds not made up I am just waiting to see if you'll say what I want to hear you say"

Speaking of the rest of his behavior. Kyle hasn't already invited Butters when he announces the exciting news to the guys. He just makes it clear that he is planning to invite him instead of Cartman.

Even Cartman somewhat recognizes what Kyle wants in this situation. When Cartman comes to him in an attempt to win him over with his "nice sweater" Kyle immediately clocks what he is trying. But he doesn't turn him away. He doesn't say "no matter what you do I'm not inviting you". Kyle just says that "that's not the same as being nice". And leaves Cartman to figure it out on his own. By this point Kyle still hasn't invited Butters.

In the next scene Kyle witnesses Cartman beating up Jimmy in an attempt to prove that he is Kyle's friend. What is Kyle's response to this. Well I call it the Kyle equivalent of "Not quite what I meant. Try again later." He could not give less of a crap that Cartman just beat up Jimmy. Nope. All he has to say to him is that that isn't "being nice" either.

After this Kyle invites Butters to his birthday. But then immediately as Cartman is walking down the hallway he initiates a conversation to find out what Cartman will try this time. Even tho, as Cartman points out, he has already invited Butters, and he knows that he has already invited Butters. He still wants so desperately to fix Cartman. To make him learn a lesson. And he wants to be the one to do that. Not anyone else. Kyle. Because Kyle is the only one that actually tries to pull this crap with Cartman.

And nothing makes this sweeter than the fact that he just outright admits it in the fucking episode. That is exactly what he wanted to hear from him all along. All along. From the start of this episode.

Okay so, starting off strong, let's go music. Will Wood and the Tapeworms, right? A few weeks ago I listened to both versions of every song twice to find which versions I liked better for when I eventually burned CDs (my car is old af, bbg ain't even got an aux, but also her ass ain't got an engine rn 💀) for the albums.

My verdict for Self-Ish? Literally all the songs are the exact same, except Self-, -Ish (which just sound a wee bit different), and Dr Sunshine is dead (which just has a longer outro in the original).

EVERYTHING IS A LOT THO? Some big differences in some songs. So here's my preferences:

6 up 5 oh- Remaster, the "oh how I know how I go.." Part just sounds better to me

(Bones)- Remaster, the radio/tv talk at the end isn't glitchy and stuff, like the OG

Front Street- Original, I like the snaps (tapping?) Behind the pre-chorus, along with the dialogue clip. But, also, I like how much clearer everything is in the remaster, so I'm kinda torn.

¡Akiado!- Original, I am,,,, not a fan of the extra end part in the remaster

White knuckle Jerk- Original. The background(?) Voices are quieter and sound kinda different. Idk I may be wrong about that tho.

Cover this song- Original. I hate hate HATE Batman will wood growling in my ear, please never make me listen to that version again, it was a genuine jump scare. (EDIT: THE REMASTER JUST PLAYED ON MY SPOTIFY AND??? HE'S NOT BATMAN ANYMORE??? IS MY SPOTIFY BROKEN?? PLZ IK I'M NOT CRAZY)

Thermodynamic Lawyer- Remaster. Not really a fan of the robot voice in the original.

Red Moon- original, his voice seems quieter or more drowned out in the remaster.

Lysergide Daydream- Original, don't remember why, so vibes ig lmao, there's not really a difference between the two

The First Step- Remaster, I think it just sounds a little clearer

First of all, I love the lyrical differences!! Ballad Jekyll leaning more towards blaming Hyde for everything and being way more self-pitying, while B/G Jekyll seems to have more of a subdued acceptance? Like, Ballad Jekyll is a lot more emotional and bitter, while B/C seems to take more of the responsibility. Also!! I like how in B/C Jekyll seems to be with someone else, while Ballad Jekyll seems to be alone. The contrast between the last lines ("but if it takes Mr Hyde with me, then I'm glad to hang" V.S. "so take my hand, hold it till the end") really does show that bitter self destructiveness vs that sad, duty-driven acceptance. AND LIKE UGHHH JUST THE LYRICS OF B/C IN GENERAL!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

Also, the Mr Hyde Jive? I love Hyde being a silly fellow. Literally just being like "damn, I'm not the villain, smh, lemme go have some fun for you gayboy 🗣️🗣️ (might still ruin lives tho!! I am vice, teehee)"

So, I'm watching the commentary of BCS S5E3

And I'm only understanding something they did here and it's ruining me completely. So I stop to write about it, because when am I not. Also maybe this point has already been analyzed by someone before, I absolutely didn't look for it so if it has been done, sorry!

The thing is : What they explain in this commentary is that the garage in which Jimmy meets Lalo, brought there by Nacho and Blingy, is the same place where Nacho gets taken care of by the vet and the twins. So okay, same place. But, there is a parallel I had yet to make here.

What they specify in the commentary is "We wanted to show Lalo working on his car, and even though we don't really feature it, he is replacing a part in his car". So Lalo, is replacing a piece of his car by another one, just like Nacho has been given the blood of a Salamanca to replace a part of his own.

And now when I see Lalo, bent over his car in that garage, hands stained with oil, it's impossible for me not to see a direct parallel to that surgical operation. It looks like a symbolic representation of him doing the change to Nacho. And it just makes my brain explode.

And if I push my point, having Nacho patiently waiting there, looking as Lalo works on his car, perfectly composed and calm, holds something very strange. Some kind of a distance to what happened to him maybe? I dono, I can't really pinpoint why it makes me feel how I feel.

Also, I tried to see if the spot Lalo is repairing his car is the exact same one Nacho has been treated, but it's hard to tell. I think Nacho was in the other half of the garage, since we can't see the sink along the wall (judging by the distance with the wall he's either where Blingy's car is in S5E3 or before the white tiny room in the far corner beside Lalo's car. So he wouldn't have been treated in the exact same spot anyway)

Also the square ray of light reminds me of the one used to make x-ray in radiology (many broken bones person here hello). So, something also linked to medicine. This is purely a personal analysis tho, they don't say anything about specific the light precisely in the commentary. But the fact that it illuminate Nacho during the entire scene or so, uh. Interesting.

Of course it also has that theater performance light to it. Nacho and Lalo both performing an formidable act of synchronicity and complicity during this whole scene. God I could speak about their synergy in this scene for hours but I will not make this any longer, it's a very different points from this surgical parallel anyway.

Anyway, one of my absolute favorite scene from BCS, given yet another layer of analysis, I'm delighted.

I. ข้างกัน (City) - Fourth Nattawat and Gemini Norawit (Cover) My School President OST / Original by Three Man Down

To be honest, I love both the original version and this cover from MSP. The cover just holds double the meaning. It is both part of TinnGun’s story – their first meeting, their beginning, the reason why Tinn fell for Gun and why they fit together now – and PuenTalay's story in their own universe. It connects these two universes too, and that is why I’m so fond of it. Also, Gemini and Fourth make this song sound even softer than it already is. (My other favorites from MSP ost are Healing, Let Me Tell You, and the cover of Just Being Friendly, tho the whole soundtrack is just phenomenal.)

II. ใครคลั่งรักกว่ากัน (Madly in Love) - Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan Our Skyy 2 x Vice Versa OST

This song is so very PuenTalay but also so JimmySea. It’s extremely soft, romantic, a little playful, cute, and just loving all the way around. It compliments both of their voices and styles, and just makes me super happy. The lyrics are nice too. My favorite part is the one where Jimmy changes the way he sounds in the chorus (Idk what to call it sorry). It’s towards the end of the song. It’s just super cool somehow and very addicting.

III. คลาด (Over the Moon) - Khaotung Thanawat The Eclipse OST

Absolutely obsessed with this song. One of the best theme songs a BL has ever had, hands down. Truly lived up to the hype I got from hearing this song in the mock up trailer. I love Khaotung’s voice, the visuals in the MV, the lyrics, the instrumental. Overall just a perfect song for me specifically. (To be fair, The Eclipse has had two of my favorite soundtracks with this and their Our Skyy 2 song. Instant hits, no question.)

IV. ก่อน - Pchy Dew The Movie OST

I don’t think any other piece of media has ever made me feel the way Dew The Movie does. It was, and still is, simply everything to me. And this song. This song. I cannot put into words how perfect, how wonderful, how special this song is. I cry every time I hear it because it’s just so fully packed with all these feelings I cannot describe. I love it. I love it so much. And for the love of god, if you haven’t watched this movie, go do it right now. 

V. ร้อยล้านวิว (Million views) - Stamp Last Twilight Pilot Trailer 

I don’t know how well this song fits the criteria for this game but I found this lovely thing bc of the Last Twilight trailer and now I cannot get rid of it. It’s been on my playlist ever since this trailer dropped in November and not a day goes by that I don’t listen to it. It’s just so good and always brings me back to these moments. I keep hoping they would keep this song in the show itself or that they will get an OST that sounds similar, instrumental and lyrical wise. Bc my god did this song hit again once I stopped being lazy and looked up a translation for the lyrics. Now I’m crying even more bc of it thanks.

Bonus: พระเอกจำลอง by Getsunova from the Theory of Love OST. One of my eternal favorites. This song just is the show.  Special mentions: These are western songs so I didn’t want to include them to the list itself but I have to mention that Blueming brought me back to sød ven’s music bc they used the song hollow for the show (the beach scenes to be specific). I am forever grateful. Also, I love the songs both Not Me and Never Let Me Go used in their soundtracks, specifically this one and this one (both are instrumental as these shows have made me appreciate instrumentals a lot more too).

So Jimmy is strictly a regressor. He regresses between 2-6 but tends to stay on the older side of things. He usually goes younger if he regresses impurely. When he's little he calls Tango "papa" and is the embodiment of "i have one child who has to be touching me at all times and if he is not touching me at all times, all hell breaks loose". He doesn't talk much, preferring to communicate by chirps and trills. (if we continue w the canary hc. Honestly the animal sounds could work for whatever hybrid you hc Jimmy as if any at all) His favorite things to do when small are play w his pets and be read to :) Tho he does have a few favorite toys always laying around

Tango has those "cool uncle babysitter" vibes. On Hermitcraft he doesn't have a specific little he takes care of, he's mostly a babysitter. Jimmy is his only permanent little. He's pretty easy going, but that's bc Jimmy's an angel to care for - as are most of the littles he watches. Being a caregiver is just as stress relieving as regressing is for others. He sometimes neglects his own needs when he works so having a little need him takes him out of that headspace and grants them both time to relax :D

And as for your questions; I have a fic where Tango is brought over by Goddess!Pearl and besides that and the rift (which is canonically solidified) I can't think of a way he could cross over to Empires. So he probably can't/doesn't server hop to care for Jimmy. That and he wouldn't have a way to know seeing the difference in servers (I mean unless we use fanfic logic then yeah totally possible).

And maybe he did bring Jimmy some gifts from Hermitcraft :) Maybe a little gift from Decked Out like a stuffie of a Warden (we all know the rancher's connection to wardens) or a mini redstone music box (that definitely doesn't play wonderwall). Something practical that his little would love and use all the time :3

alright, so!! i often tell my roommate about all the SMPs i’m interested in, which mostly includes Hermitcraft, Empires, DSMP, and the Life Series. and i tend to tell her about all the new stuff going on. occasionally, we’ll watch videos of Hermitcraft and Life Series together. sometimes we’ll watch some solo content from Mumbo or Etho.

i’ve made it pretty clear that she doesn’t need to remember the names or even really watch it, but she does actually enjoy it a lot. however, it’s a lot of content to keep up with and remember, which i totally agree!! while i love these SMPs so much, but i bet it’s gotta be hella overwhelming to newcomers sometimes.

anyway!! so. i just found out that she has apparently combined all these SMPs in her mind and i want to share her perspective with you bc it’s now my favorite thing ever, so here we go:

The MCU (Minecraft Universe) according to my roommate:

all the Minecraft SMPs combined should be referred as the MCU (Minecraft Universe) — this is literally what she calls them and i love that. according to her, there’s so many characters that crossover into other SMPs, it just makes sense to make it into a combined universe. it’s the best thing ever.

there are only 11 total Minecraft Men. that’s it. — this number actually went up bc originally she decided there were only 5??? she counted them out for me tho, and there are, in fact, 11 Minecraft Men.

there is also only one (1) Minecraft woman. she is also the only Minecraft wife — i think she’s talking about LDShadowlady bc i talk a lot about Joel?? but i’m not sure if she’s combined Lizzie and Kristin into one person. either way, she is the only Minecraft wife/woman to exist bc my roommate doesn’t know there’s more. (bruh, when i show her there’s more than one Minecraft woman, it’s gonna blow her mind ahdjskf)

the Minecraft Men are described only as “the husbandos, the guy with the demon boyfriend, the demon, and the child of one of the husbandos”

it’s pretty unclear who the child is, but i THINK she means Sapnap bc i kept telling her how excited i was that Sapnap’s favorite headcanon for his character is that C!Skephalo are his parents agajfkdkgkg

no, this doesn’t mean that Skeppy and BBH are part of the husbandos. i quickly realized this bc she doesn’t remember who the child is. he’s simply just known as “the child” and he has canonically gay parents apparently agdjakfk

“there was once a cow heist bc someone stole all the cows” — apparently Jimmy and Scott’s Cow Heist during 3rd Life??? man, i loved that moment, but i was so surprised that’s the moment she remembered out of everything in 3rd Life (/pos!)

“there was a ranch that burned down that one time” — once again, i was not prepared for this shdjdkg. pretty sure that she’s talking about Double Life bc we watched a lot of Joel and Etho’s POVs of that one together

“and i remember there was a panda sanctuary that got burnt down!!” — she was so excited to remember this one?? shsjffks it was adorable. another one from Double Life

anyway, i’m planning on showing her all the character skins and letting her go wild with guessing names and such. she’s literally so excited to learn more and start figuring out who’s who.

for the record, she’s only watched a few episodes of the Life Series and Hermitcraft (plus a few Empires’ clips), but she’s only heard me talk about the DSMP and never seen any of those characters or even just most of the people of Hermitcraft, so this will be hella fun:)

Currently Reading: The Killing Joke, by Christa Faust and Gary Phillips. Usually I finish books the day/night I start them, but this one was hyped up by a friend who didn't mention how bland the writing is, at least in the beginning. It's just not very engaging to me. I'm sure the story itself is great tho, as that's what was hyped

Last Song: Pray for Water by Borealis. The first single for their upcoming album. If you like progressive metal, you should definitely check it out! (their second single, Ashes Turn to Rain, is also really really good!)

Last Series: Last series finished was Obi-Wan, current series is season 2 of The Mandalorian cuz yes, I was far enough behind that I hadn’t seen either. “I have spoken” is now a household phrase lol

Last Movie: Dragonball Super: Super Hero twice in theaters when it first came out. I saw some people complaining about it when it was released, but I had no complaints about it aside from the art style (they butchered Whis’ coloring! 😫). I love Piccolo and Gohan, so to me, it was great to see them get the spotlight!

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: I am not immune to sugar…I am, in fact, incapable of resisting it. I used to love spicy stuff, but after a couple trips to the ER for a stomach ulcer, I’ve taken to more or less avoiding anything spicy. I do miss cayenne tho 😔

Currently Working On: My two mains—Castle series and an unnamed WIP that really really needs a name—and a side project I started recently, called What Lies in the Shadows. (I finally made descriptions for them!)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OKAY OKAY I LIKE THIS ONE AND HOPE NO ONE HATES ME FOR MY ORDER BUT

1. revenge (obviously i mean look at me i am drenched in black and red at all times and gerards hair was just so nice) specific parts include flour face gerard and that photoshoot with the blood covering his hand in a building with brick walls and arches it looked like a church basement and the vampire one for kerrang where its a girls back and theyre covered in blood and hes biting her neck hehe, reasoning for it being my favorite is it has only one song i skip (ghost of you) and every other has a lot more that i usually do and just how theatric and dramatic but also edgy everything was, tbp is more theatric BUT theres more Hope vibes and this is that but with despair and blood and guns and coffins and that just appeals to me fundamentally way more especially when im in my bag. it probably has my most favorite songs too, like to the end cemetery drive jetset life and HANG EM HIGH OR MOTHERFUCKING DIE. maybe my favorite mcr song but im not thinking too hard when i say that

2. bullets, its just so suburban i feel like I'm back in Jersey its October and im walking past cul de sacs and the sunset is bright fucking orange its fantastic its art in every sense and its full of sorrow bc its the closest album chronologically to 9/11 and gerard had the least sureness in the future but he was so confident and it just bleeds into everything so hard, my favorite moments in life are majorly moments similar to what i described. wearing a hoodie and jeans and converse and observing the way the streetlights color the concrete and asphalt, especially if theres been rain. chinese food from family restaurants and rolling rock beer and sitting at neighborhood playgrounds on the swingset rocking back and forth with the carbonation buzzing in your brain. favorite moments include the pic of frank and gerard smoking on pool chairs and that pic of them in some grandmas house with wooden walls and a china and tchotchke cabinet and lace curtains and im pretty sure mikeys sitting on the leg of a couch.it was my desktop bg for a year or two.

3. black parade; i really appreciate the death topic and i will admit i struggle to get on the Hope wavelength throughout esp in famous last words ykno the keep on living part but there are some of my favorite fucking demos like emily and all the angels and im Pretty surE desert song but smack my ass and call me a moron if its wrong. i will say visually other than the marching band outfits its the least interesting era, the white hair was just kinda there to me and no one else had anything outstandingly russling my jimmies. frank did have some cute hair curls on his bangs tho sometimes. i do rlly like the whole haunted vibe tho bc of the paramounts effect on them tho, when i notice it in songs and lyrics it is pretty effective in makin my spine straighten with the hollow eyed, sleepless and frankly a little scared nervous energy. house of wolves has been in my rotation the past month or so bc it reminds me of trevor gta a lot. wttbp i skip every time just about. i save that song for when people are trying to be emo allies and queue it on the aux or when it comes on the radio or in public. blood is AMAZING and reminds me a lot of the song air from the hair soundtrack, and i wonder if gerard was trying to specifically mimic that songs vibe because if u ask me thats very gerard. i think overall the concept and the lore of the album's fruition appeal to me more than anything else, i also love mother war and some of the other various character designs.

4. current era; im saying this because foundations of decay is literally that promising of a single and the shows' outfits are so wonderful and the energy and love and happiness is just so fucking palpable that i already know this is where the new album is gonna sit for me. its gonna be so fucking good. we all know this so well. favorites include nurse gerard the mikey fuckin way shirts and that slicked back hair gerard mmf yum

5. danger days; im SORRRY i just. the songs only appeal to me on a surface level aside from destroya and i always just get rlly bad feelings when i see pics of gerard bc i know he said he was starving himself and it makes me :/ more than anything else seeing him. i feel Bad saying he looked hot. this is also the only album with songs i actively dislike within. i will say that when i say i like destroya. i fucking Love destroya. its so good its so fucking good its everything to me. OH and im gonna include the killjoys comic in this and say that even though i love it so fucking much its not enough to put it above current era. its not that i dislike danger days. its that every other era is so strong compared in my mind that since something has to be last it will be this. favorite moments include the videos of them behind the scenes for na na na laughing and having fun the photoshoot with the backdrop where they're all underneath it and gerard looks like a fucking otherworldly being level insane like hes made of porcelain and the mv shots of them in the trans am at night especially going in the tunnel speeding ass out of town. i will add that i discovered mcr thru sing bc it was on a rhythm game i owned at 11 and i still remember the two days before mcr broke up when i finally remembered to give them a listen and openly cried watching them all die in the killjoy vids so theres a nostalgic rawness that part of me wants to leave preserved like an artifact at a museum.

• he actually really good at doing your hair. like when you need it curled or straighten, he's your guy. he can also style your hair in different ways, but not a huge variety because my mans isn't a machine. like he can do a braid, french braids (taught by you and mina) and other easy hairstyles.

• he will sing/hum you to sleep if you ask him to. he was hesitant at first, but the first time you asked him to you were kinda sad, and he couldn't resist. he would sing and hum your favorite slow songs, which made you easily fall asleep in his arms.

  "katsuki?" you ask softly to your boyfriend. he hums in response and you sigh, "can you sing me to sleep?"

  "uhm, i can't really sing.." he says back but you shake your head.

  "or hum, i don't mind. i just want you to sing me to sleep." you say and he sighs, wrapping his arms around your figure beside him.

  he started off humming the beginning of 'if i could fly', making you slightly smile. but as he got more into the song, he actually started to softly sing the lyrics to you. "i can feel your heart inside on mine," he sang softly, making your heart flutter. "i've been going out of my mind.."

  you feel yourself start to drift into the black void of sleep, but still being able to hear the soft melodies sang from your spikey-haired boyfriend. "for your eyes only, i'll show you my heart."

  now you're slipping in-and-out of sleep, but was slightly awake to hear the last part. "for your eyes only.." he ends off, kissing your forehead. "i love you, y/n. sweet dreams."

• i know this is a common headcanon, but he definitely makes you go to sleep with him; whether you're doing something, or you're not. like if you guys are in the common room hanging out, he'll just pick you up and take you with him when he's going to bed. not only does he want you to get enough sleep, but he also wanted a cuddle buddy because poor boy will never admit it, but he loves to touch you at all times.

• he definitely likes old nickelodeon cartoons. like the fairly odd parents, jimmy neutron, the older episodes of spongebob, etc. he used to watch them as a kid, and still loves watching them.

• he HATES those "educational" kids shows with a burning passion. like dora the explorer, his mom made him watch it as a kid, and it's probably a big reason for his anger issues today. he would always talk about how that melon-head girl is dumb and gets lost for no reason WHEN IT'S RIGHT BEHIND HER! so moral of the story, he will never let your kids EVER watch those shows when their little.

• and lastly, he definitely plays animal crossings. sometimes, you guys will go to each other's islands and tell each other about your villagers. and if there's one villager you guys hate, you'll always rant to each other about it. when new horizons came out, you made him get it with you so you could play with each other, which he though was dumb at first but eventually fell in love with the game. his favorite villagers are definitely the lazy ones, which you find adorable.
