Question to those who headcanon/theorise Eelai to be Kaos’ mother, what kind of mother do you headcanon her to be? She didn’t appear in any flashbacks so it’s up to our imagination and deduction.

If Alecto’s body is made of John’s, what power does he have over her? Is that how he managed to entomb her in the first place? Because we know from the soup incident harrow was only able to get inside another Lyctor’s body with her own cells. So imagine John making her a body was not only an act of desperation but also ended up giving him even more control?
Can John sense Alecto? Is that how she knew how to find him in the epilogue? Is that how he put her to sleep? I have so many questions!

Me seeing Oliver share this photo of Chad Lowe.
Us knowing Oliver also likes to share things from important moments that are happening in the show for us to see later and freak out about when we think back to what he shared.
Us knowing that Chad directed 3.3 The Searchers and 7.4 Buck Bothered and Bewildered.
Us knowing they should be filming 8.4 about now based on everything we’ve gotten so far bts wise.
Us knowing that this can’t be from 8.1,8.2, or 8.3 because the directors for those were already released and he wasn’t one of them.
Us also knowing 8.4 is Ryan’s 100th episode.
We know what happened in Oliver’s 100th episode with Chad directing.
Honestly, dude, if he's directing 804, I'm gonna legit be like 👀👀 because the show LOVES to parallel Buck and Eddie and the idea that they would mirror their coming outs is very appealing to me. Eddie coming out in his 100th episode spec, I will believe you until I can't anymore.

i am of the personal belief that jmart were not inside that man's brain, but instead inside the machine, inside the electrical pulses.
the doctor suddenly got a random idea after being asleep for a while and suddenly had a new urge to Know and a New Plan for his machine that baffled others.
i think jmart are woven in with the fears and they used a manifestation of beholding to entice this man to make a new machine that worked so they could beg and plead for someone to help them

OK SO. First of all spoilers for some TDP S6 Shots from the "The Dragon Prince: Xadia" reveal that just got posted.
I was wondering why Zym was blasting at Ezran
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then I looked a little closer and realized he wasn't!
Tumblr media
Ez was on his knees earlier, along with Corvus! Zym was saving Ezran!
And given that these are Sunfire elves, and hostile to Ezran, it's likely they are Sol Regem supporters.
Ezran gets captured by Sol Regem's army in s6!

There's a lot people want out of Ed and Stede's reunion but a thing that just occurred to me that I would LOVE to see is Lucius (who lived, dammit!) pissed at Stede. Like yes he'll be mad at Ed for obvious reasons, but imagine him giving Stede a dressing-down similar to his Ed lecture in episode 7? Like maybe during an episode where the two of them keep talking past each other and struggling to reconnect?

From like. a character analysis perspective. i LOVE Ashton's tendency to have some very good instincts when it comes to like human nature and fuckery that are also very clearly swayed by their own experiences and biases, because the combination of correct gut instincts with strong confidence makes it. Easy to buy in. Or easy to bristle.
Ashton tells F.C.G "This is what happens when you start externalizing every fucking problem that you have-" and, with affection towards F.C.G- well. Yeah. And then he starts breaking down the issue- how its about people with power fucking with others, how the end goal and the aim doesn't matter, their methods are clearly AWFUL and going to harm tons of people, and besides, if they had such a clear and proper image about what they're going to achieve they could just tell people. They're going to hurt people, they're killing, people, fuck that, fuck them.
"It's easy to make a nice world by killing everyone who disagrees with you. If you get down to five it'll be amazing. Fucking utopia."
Its- beautiful. And correct, in more ways than one, and probably what everyone needed to hear, and also has so much of their own experiences and resentment threaded into it, reductive to an almost dangerous point. Dangerous because he's right, in so many ways, and confident and righteous with it. Dangerous because of how the life lessons and the rage and the loss have left them with base tenets about human nature and motivations that are clear cut and resigned and simple. Because simplicity is powerful, and reassuring, and keeps them going, and is also not infallible.
I just feel like. Ashton is so, so fucking right, often and especially here, is confident in his stances and judgement in a way that has been tested by flame and resigned itself to pessimism. Ashton is so right, and the reasoning is often so sound and tempting, and there's also so much of them, their own losses and shortcomings that bleeds into their confident readings of the world and its overall nature, in ways they maybe don't even realize.
ashton is- full of solid instincts, and also flawed by having lived their life firsthand, and also confident in a way that is reassuring until you find yourself in a blindspot, up against an immovable rockface.

I think Raphael might be closer to a half-deity than a regular cambion.
Half-fiends are... used to be? Native outsiders. Who knows what the various lore on cambions is because we also used to have alu fiends and other details, I'm just referring to the half-fiend template right now-
Anyway, native outsiders are those with mortal parents, and as such have mortal souls and bodies while also having the supernatural thing of their non-mortal parent. Like their tiefling descendants, half-fiends leave corpses and can be resurrected as usual, and they're not innately tied to an outer plane and won't reform.
And this clicked while I started poking at the Bhaalspawn again, and it all links into Mephistopheles being his dad. The Bhaalspawn are confusing, because they should theoretically be native outsiders due to having mortal parents and being born on the Prime Material plane. But they die like non-native outsiders, and then I remembered that another difference between native and non-native outsiders is that the native outsiders need to sleep and eat. Bhaalspawn were given the outsider typing in 3.5e, which also has this to say on half-deities;
"Creatures that have a mortal and a deity as parents also fall into this category [of quasi-deity/divine rank 0]. [...] All deities (even those of rank 0) are naturally immortal and cannot die from natural causes. Deities do not age, and they do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe."
Meanwhile:
"Outsiders breathe, but do not need to eat or sleep (although they can do so if they wish). Native outsiders breathe, eat, and sleep."
So if your outsider parentage comes from a deity it overrides the mortal heritage and you don't count as native to the Prime, I guess.
Bringing this back to Raphael; Demon Lords and Archdevils tend to start blurring the line between what's not a god and what is. Gargauth, for example, is counted amongst the Faerûnian pantheon despite the fact that he's technically a very powerful devil who got powerful enough to count. Orcus, a god of undeath, is technically a Demon Lord. Lolth was considered a Demon Lord at one point, before returning to deity status. The Archdevils can provide spells to clerics and manifest aspects much like deities manifest avatars. Asmodeus recently elbowed his way into divine status by ripping out a bit of Azuth.
So I guess Raphael is a demigod or close enough, which I'm sure does wonders for his psyche.
I don't think I actually have a point on this post, it's just something that I thought of while poking the Bhaalspawn with a sharp stick for the millionth time. At least it explains why he dies like a full Baatezu in the House of Hope.

Hot take: those soot marks on Buck's face are the result of another firefighter--with sooty, gloved hands--holding Buck's face, their thumbs coming up just under his eyes 👀
ANON I LOVE YOU HOW YOU THINK
I will accept this as reality until proven wrong, thank you.

they keep having to retell the story about filming the carriage scene and I think to myself it must be annoying to have to keep telling it but let’s listen again anyway and every time without fail one of them slips up and adds in another detail that makes it even crazier like…. nic luke… what are you doing…
