Imagine being Spider-Gwen and showing up at this Spider-Verse meetup and 90% of the people there are alternate versions of your dead best friend. They’re all grown, too—as the person he would have grown to become if things were different, if he’d had the chance to grow up. You’re surrounded by ghosts of him. Ghosts of who he could have been.

And then you realize that every single one of them looks at you like you’re the ghost.

Every single one of their Gwens died.

In every other universe—in every other universe—you died. You are dead, everywhere, everywhere but here.

The thing that gets me about Miguel and Jess being mad at Miles for breaking Pavitr’s canon is that it’s kinda not really canon... The canon is stuff that is destined to happen in each world on their own, right? Well, Captain Singh wouldn’t have been in peril saving that little girl on his own that particular day. It only happened because Spot was there wrecking Alchemax. Spot who was made by Miles. It’s a whole chain effect that pretty much boils down to Captain Singh wouldn’t have died if Miles wasn’t there because it wouldn’t happen in the first place. So if he saves Captain Singh from a scenario he (inadvertently) created, is he really breaking the canon?

yet another take on my forever evolving Spider-Woman redesign! and right at this moment i think it really is the best one i've made. it went from being too complicated and different to less complicated but still with too much extra details to *this*.
