If you could pick one movie to watch for the first time again (like wipe it from your memory and Experience it for the first time again) what would it be?

oooh fun question, thank u <3 I'd pick children of men (2006). dir. Alfonso Cuaron. the first time I ever watched it I just sat quietly for half an hour afterward just contemplating the world and storytelling in a whole new way. every shot and scene in that film is one that I still marvel at now even though I've seen it countless times. to experience all that reverie again for the first time would be a great privilege! Though that movie is such a huge part of who I am I feel erasing the memory of it would erase some part of myself! It's still a dream of mine to see it in cinema someday so I can experience it on a big screen for the first time!

here are some of my (w/ some being admittedly very bizarre) ideas of my Monty Python AU where a guy/gal wake up in a world where Monty Python never existed:

-everyone in the entire world will be humourless.......like ACTUALLY SOO humourless that their voices are so montone as a robot and they act their emotions in the most boring and robot-like way possible

-crucifixion is reinstated as a law, meaning that it's a very much legal way of punishment/death sentence again

-Terry Jones became a very famous and critically acclaimed film director instead of Terry Gilliam

-The twin sons of the infamous Piranha Brothers are feared by the public AND the government, who also have the LITERAL power to kill someone to death.......with sarcasm

These are the ones so far that I've come with until I come up with more, so I'd love to hear what you personally think of them and which one's are your favourite?

Does this mean Spiny Norman is a genuine threat?

Already answered 6 (although I think it should be expanded to all of Max Giesinger’s discography). And as for Spanish songs… I think an honorary mention should go to Giesinger’s Spanish counterpart, Álvaro Soler, and his song Sofia.

OOF, there’s a lot of great songs in both that I love… A quién le importa by Alaska y Dinarama, and Rauch-Haus-Song by Ton Steine Scherben are both very high up though.

1. favourite place in your country?

Hm… Another place I like... I like my whole province honestly. We have a lot of different geographical features from the Rockies to prairies to boreal forests and more. I’ve been far north a few times and it’s lovely up there, all the forests. That’s where my band is from.

13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?

Oh yes! My family is Cree and Irish. We have a lot. When I was younger mum told me to never sleep with my feet above my head or bad spirits would migrate to my head. There are many silly things.

14. do you enjoy your country’s cinema and/or TV?

I do! Canadian television is especially… Like, the censors are just dead. Watch the (original, Canadian) version of 6teen and you will see what I mean. I grew up on mostly Canadian cartoons/television shows. They’re wild.

15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?

I still for the life of me can’t think of any. This is one of those things that I often don’t realise until I’ve said something and a non-Canadian friend goes, “what?”
