“Now you can barely even look at me.”
And yet, when Cas leaves, when he walks towards the door and doesn’t look back, Dean was watching him the entire time. He looks away not because he couldn’t look at Cas. But because after what he said (which he knew was wrong), he couldn’t have Cas look at him. And if you see the parallels of this scene to 6x20, it makes perfect sense. Cas couldn’t look at Dean for the same reason Dean couldn’t look at Cas. It wasn’t hate, it was shame.

Me: Destiel was doomed because in that one restaurant scene there was a blue tablecloth and in 9-1-1 there is now a red one, Red is the colour of love - there is hope for both ships...
Say it. Say, I'm the weirdo. I haven't slept last night, I'm giggling over this.

Cain and Dean are both seen and labeled as nothing but murderers. The first and the ultimate killer. And that’s what God tried to frame them as but THAT IS NOT WHO THEY ARE!!! Cain killed his little brother for love and Dean raised his little brother for love!!! They tried to isolate themselves, to stop themselves, to sacrifice themselves for love!!! They protected others for love!!! They fought The Mark, for the whole world, for love!!! Fundamentally, the things that they’ve done, both good and bad, they have done for love!!! THAT IS WHO THEY ARE. And they suffer for it. They are punished for it. They are condemned for it. And in the end, they are killed for it.
