How is she so damn adorable? Lee Know wondered.

How is she so nice? Chan wondered.

Has she really not interacted with hybrids much? Seungmin wondered.

Why is she so...unbothered by all of this? Changbin wondered.

It didn't take long for Fae Lynn to realize what they were thinking. "You guys know the X-Men right?"

"Yeah. Why?" Seungmin asked.

"I grew up watching that. In fact I kind of live by that. The point of the show was to let people know that people are different but that's no excuse to treat them badly because of it. So when I do interact with hybrids I usually try to treat them like people. Sometimes I fail spectacularly because also treating them like their animals as in pets is usually something I end up unable to stop. I have a need to part any animal I come across. It's kind of a problem. I try to pet stray animals and always think I can make a difficult animal like me. I may not know what it's like to be a hybrid but I know what it's like to be treated like an outcast cause you're different and being bullied. People don't treat those on the autism spectrum the best either." She explains.

"Really? I have anxiety." Han said.

"Well, I know to deal with that sort of anyway. If you ever need help when you're anxious my door is always open. That goes for all of you. If you ever need help or have a fight and need somewhere to cool off you're always welcome here." She smiled at them.

"Seriously? Be prepared for us to randomly appear for cuddles." Felix grinned.

"Oh no how will I ever survive cuddling 4 adorable hybrids at random times of the day. That sounds like such torture. Cuddles, ew." She stated sarcasm dripping from her every word.

Minho and Seungmin laughed loving her snark.

Innie changed pushing Hyunjin away and cuddling up to Fae Lynn. She giggled petting his ears as he started...purring?

They all watched fondly at how happy Innie was at having a new affectionate human friend who didn't treat them horribly. Someone who appreciates his fox heritage and is a genuinely sweet person.

"I may take you up on that offer. Sometimes I need a break from them or I may fry Hyunjin." Lee Know scowled.

"Fry?" She questioned.

"Hyunjin hyung tends to get too dramatic so Lee Know hyung either threatens to fry him in the air fryer or stuffs him with tissues. We're very chaotic." Innie explained.

She giggled. Hyunjin pouted and the rest grinned

belongs to none other than A SQUIRREL. specifically, it's from a recording that dani connor wild (a wildlife photographer) made in 2020. the squirrel is named "baby pear." that's right – our friend the muad'dib carries the legacy of baby pear :)
