I got my hands on a Zoo Album for St. Louis Zoo from the 1960s. I got it scanned in so it could be easily accessible!

Set # 906

This set and the following three were all bought from the same booth at my favorite antique show: Collector's Carnival. They had tons of sets for some really amazing prices but sadly I just couldn't pick to many up as I had a very tight budget. But I was extremely happy with the ones I got like this set! It's a zebra souvenir set that was originally sold at the St Louis Zoo. It still has it's org tag for $4 so you know it must be pretty old since the gift shop prices are much higher now!

Yesterday I volunteered at Alton Pride to do some free face painting for all ages. I don’t have any pictures of that, but I did drag my girlfriend to the amphitheater today for a couple of carnival rides at the expo there and to do chalk art. The amount of little kids excitedly saying “it’s Optimus prime!” made me very happy.

Animals Aglow lantern festival at STL Zoo in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO.

I took a trip to the St. Louis zoo today and am currently stuck in the bird house!

Why you may ask?

Well they can't have people walking around with an escaped MEAT EATER CAN THEY AVSJBDJSBS

People are placing bets on it being a bear, but I heard the Wally talky say cheetah enclosure.
