meet MARSDEN AUGUSTUS LEE.
Hey, isn’t that MARSDEN AUGUSTUS LEE. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 32, and they’re TENACIOUS and SECRETIVE. They’re originally from CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, USA, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for TWO MONTHS living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at VELVET as an ADULT ENTERTAINER. Best if they stay safe for now.
Ever since he was a young boy, Mars expressed an intense talent and love of dance, specifically excelling in ballet. It grew into a somewhat obsession of his parents who encouraged his dreams while accumulating their own visions of awards and acclaim, proud to help their child excel in his chosen talent so they pushed him. Aggressively. Not stopping to consider how much they might be pressuring him to be perfect, to not stop working to achieve his goals, to stop at nothing until he was the best. They pulled him out of school and got him a private tutor for his studies and paid for additional private ballet lessons with a well known instructor in order to further encourage his talents. He was molded and propelled into the perfect specimen for ballet performance, becoming a professional ballet dancer by the age of seventeen, part of a notable and well respected dance company in Chicago.
When he was eighteen he married his sweetheart and for a few years, remained in this way, dancing, being married, pretending he was happy, pretending that he wasn’t suffocating. By the time he reached twenty-two years old he was so burnt out he could barely function or think for himself, exhausted with the façade of living for everyone else other than himself and so made a very drastic decision to leave it all. He quit the ballet company. His parents accused him of wasting his talent, of wasting their time and money, of throwing his life away. He got his nose pierced. He dyed his hair black. He got his first tattoo. He did everything he could to alter his appearance and ensure he could never be welcomed back into the ballet company, burning bridges of every prior connection, not caring about the proverbial smoke or who got hurt by the flames. His wife left him. His parents never forgave him. At least his older sisters still spoke to him but soon too those relationships got strained and one day he just left again, this time with a one way flight to Europe.
For years, he traveled, seeking out what sort of man he wanted to be, not knowing who he was because for the first twenty-two years of his life he’d been living for other people. Everywhere he went, he met new people, strangers who became friends who became memories, little pieces of the world trickled into his soul and it wasn’t so exhausting anymore and for the first time in years, he started to feel like he could breathe again and he started to see the old passion he once had for dancing. After some time, he got tired of traveling and settled for a few years when an old hook up reached out. She was pregnant. A paternity test later and it was confirmed he was the father. She had already made the decision she wanted to give the child up for adoption and didn’t expect anything from him but felt he should at least be aware of it. Marsden surprised her by saying he wanted to keep the baby. He wanted to be a father.
His daughter, Maria Elena, is just over a year old and Mars now finds himself in Fenrir’s Wood, human himself but with the uncertainty that his daughter might grow up to be a witch like her mother.
Played by Kim. Portrayed by Andy Biersack.

meet CHRISTOPHER “TOPHER” ROMIJN
Hey, isn’t that CHRISTOPHER “TOPHER” ROMIJN. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 24, and they’re RIGHTEOUS and IMPULSIVE. They’re originally from LUIK, BELGIUM, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 2 YEARS living in FORK’S ROAD. I wonder if they still work at THE FENWAY POOL as a POOL BUDDY. Best if they stay safe for now.
Death tw.
Topher is originally from Luik, Belgium, where they lived with their mother. Their mother did whatever she could to make sure there was bread on the table, and while she never showed her child, she made a lot of enemies. Topher witnessed her murder, and knowing they were an orphan now, set the house ablaze and left the city, but not before picking up their long-term girlfriend and making a run for it.
They made it as far as Paris before the girlfriend’s family tracked them down and took her back, leaving Topher hurt by the road.
After they regained strength, Topher spend the next four years couch-surfing, travelling from country to country and never giving a fuck. Chance let them to Fenrir’s Wood, where several acts of kindness got them a place to stay and a job. They’re grateful to the community that saved them, unaware that they are Werewolves.
Now one of their friends has been murdered, and they want to find out what happened.
He’s very impulsive, a little shy and held back, doesn’t trust people quickly, but will ALWAYS do what feels right, always stand up for the weak, kick people in the shins for saying shitty stuff, and fight for you if you’ve ever shown him kindness.
Played by Nico. Portrayed by Quintessa Swindell

meet SUNIL KOTA
Hey, isn’t that SUNIL KOTA. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 31, and they’re BRAVE and NAIVE. They’re originally from MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ, USA and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 1 YEAR living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at FENIR UNIVERSITY as a RESEARCH ASSISTANT. Best if they stay safe for now.
TW: Military mentions; Plane crash; Death/Injury Mentions
On a sufficiently cloudy night—when there were no stars—the little wooded path behind the boy’s home could almost feel like nowhere. Sunil Kota walked it often, forgetting, on nights like these, that neat homes lay just around the bend and that the dull roar in the air was from cars on distant freeways, not from prowling beasts. But the boy himself, the second oldest of four children and his parents’ first son, was a searcher by nature, bold and brilliant, although he sometimes found only the latter quality encouraged by his elders. Still, the former compelled him into the dark, into the unknown, into the endless pursuit of something just out of reach.
When his backyard plot felt too restricting, then, the public nature reserve nearby, an expanse of protected, forested land, provided ample quarries—sightings of fairies, of bigfoots, of winged demons, and of the vengeful specter of one scorned witch who wandered the roads by night. Sunil himself never caught sight of them himself, of course, but his untamable adventurous spirit would compel him to climb constantly upward, into the trees, branch by branch, flashlight in his teeth, as though only getting as high as possible would provide him an ample view.
And that ascent could only prove natural, as it was, of course, an impetus he had inherited from his own father, who had moved to the United States from India as a young boy. At eighteen, the man funded his own education through the Air Force before working briefly as an airline pilot, eventually becoming the co-owner of an FBO at a small airport in suburban New Jersey, specializing in luxury aviation charters. Sunil himself spent long days at the lounge there, watching the pilots fuel up or commandeering the bronze airplane model atop the reception desk as a toy for the afternoon. He successfully dented its wing by throwing it, with one long motion, out onto the tarmac; it did not take off flying the way he might have hoped.
But despite his sometimes-zealous nature, Sunil himself did do relatively well in school, kept focused by his mother’s attention to his studies and by his father’s penchant for discipline. He excelled, in particular, in the sciences, and by the time Sunil was a teenager, he was, likewise, working odd jobs at his father’s business and eventually earning flight hours of his own. Takeoff was exhilarating, an intoxicating, adrenaline-fueled feeling that he would cling to for much of his young life. And while, briefly, he did consider following his dad into the military, Sunil opted instead to study biology and environmental sciences at a New Jersey college, compelled, at least in part, by returning, now as a young man, to the woods in which he had grown up and seeing them (and their animal denizens) beginning to fade.
Living at home, studying, and working as a flight instructor at that same airport, Sunil strove one day to become a pilot biologist for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. He earned a master’s degree in natural resource management from a prestigious New York university and continued to work toward this goal when a new opportunity arose, largely by a twist of fate. With his family’s blessing, he thus set off for Canada to begin training for the Air Operations team of the British Antarctic Survey, the United Kingdom’s national polar research institute.
He would have to learn to ski, and that was pretty funny, he thought. But the work itself was intensive, including disaster and first-aid preparedness. And setting off, lured by the promise of new adventures in new landscapes, Sunil spent six months working in the field, shuttling the aircraft back and forth from Antarctica, doing general maintenance, and supporting the research teams as appropriate.
During this time, he struck up a friendship with one particular scientist, who became something of a mentor. Sunil was visiting her in the United Kingdom in the winter of 2022 when he, taking a pleasure flight in a rented craft, passed over a small cityship called Fenrirswood. Inexplicably, his plane abruptly veered off course, and he began losing altitude quickly.
He crash-landed in the surrounding wood, his life saved by only his own skill and by the cushions of the trees. But he was in bad shape and would have perished without preternatural intervention.
The young pilot was rescued by members of a local coven, who had been drawn by the disturbance he had caused. They gave him back his strength, asked for it bit by bit, and awed by their gifts, Sunil, scientifically-minded as he was, promised allegiance to them, feeling for the first time that he had finally discovered what he had been looking for all along, some glimpse of the true nature of things.
He remained in Fenrirswood, and with his mentor’s recommendation from his Antarctic expedition, he earned a more permanent research position at Fenrir University. He feels something of a particular calling to advocate publicly for the preservation of wolf territory and habitat.
Today, in a small plane that is rickety but his very own, kept in a hangar some ways outside the city limits, he is more than happy to be the community’s eye in the sky, scoping out intruding game hunters or helping in the search for those who have wandered out and gotten lost. Still, Sunil’s own trusting nature, the part of him that sees the good in the world and those inhabit it, has made him also foolish. He forgets sometimes that he is only mortal and easy fodder for something larger to swallow completely.
Played by Ted. Portrayed by Praneet Akilla.

meet LIRA LUZ ARMORIM
Hey, isn’t that LIRA LUZ ARMORIM. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 43, and they’re WELL-MEANING and ADAMENT. They’re originally from MONTREAL, CANADA and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for ONE YEAR living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at FENRIR UNIVERSITY as a HISTORY PROFESSOR. Best if they stay safe for now.
Lira was never one to waver. Even as a child she has always been unyielding, even if her unwillingness to backdown got her pushed around in the dirt by a classmate or sent to another room for an afternoon of detention. It was not easy growing up with first-generation immigrant parents and it didn’t help that young children can be cruel. There were always the straining traditions that include strict discipline, and academic pressure. Though, being raised by immigrant parents came with numerous advantages. Lira was taught that families are tight-knit and that she is always connected to her roots, as well as being exposed to multiple cultural perspectives, this kind of background enriched Lira’s life growing up. It made her empathetic and tolerant.
It also made her curious. In school, Lira was quick to latch onto history. She learned all about her own culture, now she wanted to understand how other cultures differed or even reflected her own. She wanted to understand how people can be so different, but also be so incredibly intertwined with traditions, religion, entertainment. Just before graduating high school, Lira tells her parents that she wants to become a history major. This unfortunately does not go well. Her parents fear that it is an unreliable source of income, that it is unstable and a waste of money. They say every doubt that Lira has already pondered over. She understands the risks, but it will make her happy and she knows she would be damn good at it.
In the end, Lira parents disagree, and they give their daughter an ultimatum; become a history major and be cut off from the family or choose to pick a different path and they will gladly help with tuition. This is the only time Lira folded. She goes to Concordia University for journalism. It is not her first love that is history, but this way she still fulfills a need to live life with a curious nature and instead of reading how people changed history, Lira is able to disseminate information and to shape the public perception of key people, places, things, and events. Going into journalism isn’t much of a strategy in her parents' eyes, but at least it will give her more options to branch out into other professions.
Once finishing university, Lira moves out of Montreal and settles herself in Toronto where she bounces around and works for numerous television news stations. Unbeknownst to most of the people in her live, especially her own parents, Lira is back in university the following year. Not to keep up with her skills in journalism but taking history classes like she’s always wanted to. After a four of journalism and at the age of twenty-six, and despite enjoying it, there was still an itch that she could never satisfy. Lira spent four years earning her bachelor’s degree as a history major in her early thirties. No one suspected a thing. Her coworkers thought she enjoyed being in
the comfort of her own home instead of going out for drinks and her parents figured she was so tired all the time because as a journalist, you are working around the clock. And she was. To this day Lira doesn’t know how she was able to balance work and school. Most likely at the cost of her personal life.
Lira’s downfall comes as a blessing in disguise. She had been working on a story that was going well. Right up until Lira was purposefully given misleading information by a source, she thought she could trust. When the story ran the next morning, the backlash was swift. Perhaps it was naïve of her to trust anyone when it came to journalism, but what was done was done and Lira had to give her resignation. That was a year ago. Since then, Lira uprooted her life to take on a position at a University in the U.K when the previous history professor decided to retire unexpectedly.
As her first teaching position, Lira knows she has bitten off more than she can chew. She also hears the whispers of another coworker wondering how long she will last until Lira breaks. But they don’t know her. And Lira has only waved once in her life and although lessons has been learned, it has brought her misery. Now she was willing to go the extra mile for something she feels passionately about.
Not only that, but there has been a shift in the air ever since the bodies of those who have been murdered shown up. Lira’s rational mind tell hers to stay out of whatever is happened and to leave it to the professionals. She has been trying to convince herself that she is not a journalist anymore, and perhaps she never was. But she can’t help but wonder what is happening in Fenrir Wood’s. For now, Lira is keeping her head down, watching where she steps, and doing her best to keep out of trouble. She’s finally beginning to recover from the bow out of her last profession. Lira will be damned if she loses this one.

meet HELIA VAZ
Hey, isn’t that HELIA VAZ. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be A WITCH, and have a connection to SAGA’S COVEN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 45, and they’re RIGHTEOUS and VENGEFUL. They’re originally from BRASILIA, BRAZIL living in WOOD ROAD. I wonder if they still work at FENRIR CENTRAL HOSPITAL as AN EMERGENCY DOCTOR. Best if they stay safe for now.
Helia - named after the Greek god Helios - was her family’s sunshine. When she came into the world, her father had just gotten a new job, and her small family moved to one of the bigger cities. She was born in a hospital, stayed there till the doctors were certain she was healthy, and surged along on her parents’ new ideals and happy living. Where they came from before, she has never been able to gather, but they were no well-off money wise and could give their children all they ever wanted. She learned her craft from her mother, and often from her grandmother as well, small visits to extended family always were shrouded in mystery. She loved her life in Brasília, her parents, her siblings, her connections with the nature so close to her home and the mystic elements of her youth. But she was a child of two worlds, the past and future of her parents’ fortune.
She moved to the United Kingdom for love, her attraction and adoration for the woman who had captured her heart led her to Fenrir’s Wood. While her greatest love continued her research, Helia finished her studies to become a doctor at Oxford, and with time found her voice and status within the supernatural community as well. With age, Helia grew more like the god she was named for, a bright and powerful presence in every room she entered, she spoke with fierceness, she put the happiness of others and the rights of people before her own happiness, and she began to believe more than just love brought her to Fenrir. She established herself as the coven leader while her lover slid away into her unending research, barely seeing each other until one day Helia knew, the moment she walked through the front door, that she was alone.
The woman she was supposed to have her forever with, was gone, and all Helia could do was throw herself in her work, while holding on tight to the woman she was and had become, not willing to let grief get her down.

meet MALEE APINYA
Hey, isn’t that MALEE APINYA. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WITCH, and have a connection to HEL COVEN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 30, and they’re ADAPTABLE and DECEPTIVE. They’re originally from ANTWERP, BELGIUM, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 8 YEARS living in WOOD ROAD. I wonder if they still work at RUNE INK as an OWNER & TATTOO ARTIST. Best if they stay safe for now.
TW: death tw
The Apinya coven originated in Bangkok, Thailand as they were known for their progressive use of magic. Accepting witches of both old and new methods, they were seen as a safe haven for their kind. The concept of continuous learning in order to keep such traditions alive was how Malee’s mother led their coven. It wasn’t until humans began to suspect their witchcraft that the Apinya coven became targets and were immediately shunned by the community. A witch hunt began all throughout the city, establishing bounties for each member and especially their coven leader. The casualties were inevitable and it was every witch for themselves, hence why Mal’s mother fled to Europe to seek out refuge.
Falling in love with a human was not something Mal’s mother could foreshadow. He was an heir to Belgium’s very own diamond trades and they birthed their only daughter in the city of Antwerp. A cliché love story, her father had sworn to secrecy that he would not expose her mother’s true bloodline and protect their identities at all cost. As a witch, Malee hid her true identity behind closed doors, learning different methods of magic and excelling in her own craft. To the public eye, she was seen as an heiress, studying to become an architect, completely upholding a ‘normal’ life.
At the age of 22, that whole image came tumbling down the moment her parents were killed by witch hunters. A set up by them to lure Malee’s parents, she was left with a will tied to her name and was on the run. Luckily for her, her mother had instructed at a young age that if anything bad were to happen, to run to Fenrirswood, UK and connect with the Hel Coven.
This took place eight years ago and all her hopes and dreams of living a normal life went down the drain. With no time to grieve, Malee sought out protection and refuge in Fenrirswood with the Hel coven and later on, opened up a business called Rune Ink in Grant Park. While it may seem like a tattoo parlor to the human eye, she uses her establishment to do some experimental magic through tattooing.
The recent murders not only reopened a fresh wound in her heart as old emotions began to resurface, but she is determined to do any means necessary to protect the ones she cares about.

meet DILARA YILMAZ
Hey, isn’t that DILARA YILMAZ. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WEREWOLF, and have a connection to FENRIR PACK? What I do know for certain is that they’re 33, and they’re ADAPTABLE and ARROGANT. They’re originally from ISTANBUL, TURKEY and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for THREE YEARS living in WOOD ROAD. I wonder if they still work at RALPH LAUREN as a MARKETING DIRECTOR. Best if they stay safe for now.
Dilara was born in Istanbul, Turkey to a rising businesswoman and a renowned heart surgeon, although, she doesn’t remember much of her parents, who were killed in a car accident in the winter of her 5th birthday and it forced her to move to London to live with her maternal aunt's family. While she had a lovely upbringing, it did leave a sense of owing her aunt something in her heart, which, at the same time, has made her very aware of the relationships she's built because she didn’t want to feel like she was owing people anything.
She built her career in Marketing in companies in the UK, while also managing her studies. She currently works for Ralph Lauren in Oxford as one of their Marketing Directors.
Was brought up in the Muslim faith, and, although she does not practice the religion as she used to, because having become a werewolf has made her question her faith, fate and all in between; but she still respects Ramadan and always carried a headscarf in her bag in case she might need it.
Dilara became a werewolf four years ago, when a romantic partner accidentally bit her close to the full moon. Although the relationship didn't last for much longer after that, it changed her life completely. She moved to Fenrir's Wood three years ago in search for more stability in her supernatural life by joining the Fenrir's Pack.
She might not be the most open person you'll meet and at often times it’ll take her a while to let others in on what is going on in her life, Dilara is definitely one of the most loyal people you'll ever find. Once you’ve earned her trust and respect, she will fiercely protect you and stand by you through thick and thin.

meet DAVID “DAVY” MAJUMDAR
Hey, isn’t that DAVID “DAVY” MAJUMDAR. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WITCH? What I do know for certain is that they’re 28, and they’re CAREFREE and CAVALIER. They’re originally from NEWCASTLE, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 1 MONTH living in FENWAY. I wonder if they still work at FENWAY LIBRARY as a DIGITAL RESOURCES ASSISTANT. Best if they stay safe for now.
TW: Fire; Arson; Death Mention
Davy Majumdar's father had abandoned the protection of Saga's Coven thirty-three years earlier—a fit of youthful rebellion having compelled him to follow the woman he loved to Newcastle, where the pair of them soon set up a home of their own. There, with ordinary jobs and ordinary worries, they would raise three children in a decidedly average little bubble, jostled only every so often by a touch of magic.
Their eldest son showed, from a young age, that he had inherited his father's defiant spirit, in addition to an array of other gifts linked to his supernatural bloodline. Overactive, easily bored, annoyed by authority, and particularly sensitive to perceived slights, he found himself often embroiled in "disagreements." An early growth spurt had, of course, made him too tall to bully, and so, emboldened by his height, he marched about as arbiter of justice, standing up for the underdog whenever he saw fit. But he did not reserve this plucky ire only for his peers.
When a teacher was being unfair or power-hungry, Davy was likely the first to speak up—although perhaps not in the most diplomatic way, a lesson he learned slowly despite many punishments.
He was not exactly popular, although he had a handful of close friends. They were interested in things like fantasy, in video games, in computers, and in comic books, hobbies that were "nerdy," according to one or two especially vocal classmates. Still, as he emerged into adulthood, Davy was able to begin a promising career as a programmer.
Still, he never quite got a hold of his turbulent spirit. A rather natural witch, innately apt and able to coax nature into his bidding with relative ease, he, despite his parents' warnings, too often allowed the highs of his craft to overcome his better senses.
An argument in a pub (over Dungeons & Dragons of all things) escalated into the car park, where Davy called out to the universe for power and inadvertently caused a small fire. Although it was blamed on a cigarette and no real damage was done, Davy found himself being sent to stay with his aunt and uncle back in his father's hometown.
Maybe the structure of a coven and the watchful eye of other witches would teach him that with great strength also comes great responsibility. His aunt, a city official, got him a job on the library staff, and for now, Davy is begrudgingly playing along, lest his father follow through on the threat of binding him completely. He has refused, however, to actually join the coven's ranks and exists in a state of unaffiliated limbo.
And with people turning up dead, Davy may be among the first to suggest that unordinary circumstances demand unordinary measures. The more experimental magic of the Hel Coven has recently caught his eye for that very reason.
Played by ted. Portrayed by Nathaniel Curtis.

meet ASHA EDARA-BAKSH
Hey, isn’t that ASHA EDARA-BAKSH. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WITCH, and have a connection to SAGA’S COVEN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 32, and they’re LIONHEARTED and SHORT-TEMPERED. They’re originally from LONDON, UK, and have been back to FENRIRSWOOD for TWENTY-FIVE YEARS living in WOOD ROAD. I wonder if they still work as a BARRISTER. Best if they stay safe for now.
TW: murder, death, trauma, ptsd
You’re born on the cusp of spring, bringing forth vitality and hope to a family in desperate need of it. You fill once-barren arms and they call you a miracle, a slim chance, an unlikely hope – magic. Because it’s magic that cursed your mother’s womb and magic that healed it. You healed it, somehow. Your magic is strong, and your presence is stronger, demanding to be heard, to be felt. You blow into every room like a hurricane and they wonder if you’ll have an affinity for air, flitting from one place to another, without a care in the world. Your footsteps are so sure, so confident for such a small thing and they wonder if you’ll instead ground yourself in earth. But your temper. Oh your temper is explosive from the start, a volcano set to erupt at a moment’s notice and they’re sure you’ll fan the flames within yourself, that fire that was there the moment you were born.
Instead, water calls your name. And you hate it. You’re at war with yourself from the start. Water is fluid. Water can be fixed. It can be as hot as a summer’s day as cold as winter’s night, and so can you. But you hate it. The push and pull tears at you even from a young age. You struggle with your magic but your mother and father have an abundance of patience. After all, they waited so long for you to arrive. So when your magic shows, even when you struggle with it, they’re right beside you. Until they’re not.
You’re seven now, and you feel older than ever but you’re still too young to know what blood-feud means. What consequences curses actually carry. You’re too young to understand what’s happening when magic fails your parents. When you’re woken up in the middle of the night by the sounds of glass shattering and the noise of voice yelling. By chaos. You hide, or you try to, and you tell yourself to be brave until they break down your bedroom door. You don’t remember if you cried. You don’t remember anything but the white hot heat of fire, the searing pain of flame kissing flesh, and the sound of your own screams filling your ears.
When you wake, you’re surrounded by somewhat familiar faces. Neesa and Amir Baksh. Your parents' best friends. But your parents aren’t there. It’s so strange, to wake up in a hospital, arms wrapped like a mummy’s, not a parent in sight. So you ask, voice hoarse and wheezing. It feels like glass scratching the inside of your throat and it feels like glass piercing your heart when they tell you. But that doesn’t make sense. Your parents aren’t gone. They’re not dead. That’s impossible. Your father, so strong and solid, and your mother, so fierce and protective…they wouldn’t leave you. They wouldn’t. They wouldn't. They wouldn’t. And who are Neese and Amir anyway? How close were they actually? You reach for your magic, for that stormy ocean that lives inside you and find…nothing. You try again and again and again and you’re hysterical, explanations of a centuries-old feud, of bad blood, of how they’d arrived too late for your parents but just in time to save you from the worst of it – they mean nothing but they still fill your dreams when you drift off, magic soothing you into sleep.
Your parents weren’t part of a coven. They’d long since struck out on their own, thinking that London would be vast enough to protect them. To protect you. You have no one but the Baksh family who take you in as one of their own.
Life looks different now. You’re part of a coven. You have siblings. But it’s not the same and you spend the first years of your life in Fenrirswood resistant to all of it. Your magic is stubborn. It takes nearly two years for it to come back. For you to feel it again. The coven leaders say it’s been there all along, simply dormant and waiting for you to be ready but you don’t feel ready. You still feel like that scared girl, hiding under your bed. You’ve seen what magic can do, you’ve felt the sting of it used like a blade, cutting through opponents mercilessly. You’ve felt the loss and barren wasteland it leaves behind.
You don’t want it. You resist it. And the storm rises up in you again, waves crashing against your ribcage. Let us out. Let us out. You resist until you can’t. When you answer the call and open that door, it’s a tsunami rolling over you. Everyone says it’ll take time, of which you never feel like you have enough of. And patience, which you know you definitely don't. But something pushes you forward. An invisible force that tells you your parents would’ve wanted you to move on. To grow. You continue to fight it but a little less each day until, one day, you don’t even notice that voice is gone. It’s just you, and your magic.
It’s your magic that heals you in a way your new family couldn’t. You throw yourself into training, each instructor reporting to your parents that you’re impatient. Demanding. Impatient. Volatile. Impatient. Obsessive. Impatient. But you need to be. Because magic is what keeps out the nightmares. What keeps you from waking up screaming, just before the flames of your nightmares consume you. It’s what keeps you connected to your parents, what keeps their spirits alive with you, helping you. Comforting you.
So the years pass. You improve your magic but not your patience. You speak your mind, even when you shouldn’t, and you drive your parents crazy with the trouble you get yourself into. But even they would prefer a third call to the principal’s office because you were outspoken in class to watching you sleep the days away in bed when waves of sadness hit. And they still do. It doesn’t matter how much time goes by, there are days when it threatens to overwhelm you. On days when they should be there, you withdraw into yourself, cocooning yourself to the world, the stormy sea calms and gives way to something darker beneath the surface. Grief is a stone in your pocket, weighing you down at times. You miss your graduation from uni because of it. But sometimes that same grief is what drives you forward. Determinations that no one ever goes through what you’ve been through.
You think you can make a difference. You think that there are people, witches or otherwise, who are trying to escape situations that have become chains around their lives. Like your parents’ fear had been. Choking them until they died by the hands of those who’d wish them harm. You don’t know if you’re cut out for it but you become a barrister, working towards a future where no little girl, magical or otherwise, has to hide under her bed again.
When the bodies start piling up, you leave your busy life in London and return home to Fenrirswood. Questions fill every conversation and while answers are sparse, you’re confident in your decision to come home. You’ve already lost one and you’ll be damned if another slips through your fingers. So you ball your hands into fists, holding on tightly to the things that matter most.

meet ZHYAN SURI ZENISH PRASHAD
Hey, isn’t that ZHYAN SURI ZENISH PRASHAD. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be A WITCH, and have a connection to HEL COVEN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 34, and they’re RESILIENT and DESPERATE. They’re originally from MAGA, RAJASTHAN, INDIA and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 4 WEEKS living in FORK’S ROAD. I wonder if they still work at A CLEANER at RUNE INK. Best if they stay safe for now.
Born in Maga, India, near the Ranakpur Temple, Zhyan grew up religious, following an alternative form of Hinduism that fitted with his coven’s magical abilities. This generated a kind of strange upbringing.
Born Zenish Prashad in Maga, India, near the Ranakpur Temple, in the Rajasthan province of India, he grew up in a community of Witches, following an alternative form of Hinduism that fitted with his coven’s magical abilities. His father was a great warrior, and much was expected of him, while the community looked badly upon him since his mother’s whereabouts and species remained unknown to anyone but the father. He showed no aptitude of talking with the spirits at a young age, and it was believed he was powerless. He was a shame to his father, who remarried in the hopes of having more children but remained childless. A ritual performed in secret gave Zenish the ability his father had long longed for. He did as his father wanted for many years, fighting in the little skirmishes they had with humans and werewolves and even other covens nearby. His relationship with the spirits was an odd one, his life was always protected, even when his body suffered. It was almost as if something had claimed him for some greater purpose but was biding its time.
He was very unhappy however, often whispering to himself because he could hear the spirits so clearly, respected for his fighting prowess but avoided because of his strangeness. One day he felt the uncharacteristic urge to leave the safety of his father’s home and set out into the wide world, bought a ticket and changed his name to Zhyan Suri, and travelled the world for some years, always driven by something else, always with a purpose, always the instrument of someone else’s wishes.
Now it has brought him to Fenrir’s Wood, the urge so strong it’s been making him physically ill. He got a job and an apartment… and now he waits for the urge to stop and the dust to settle, but this time is different, he can’t shake it.
Zhyan is a very nervous person, he tends to act shy and distant in a way to protect himself from people thinking he’s weird, but deep down he craves people around him, he loves company. He’s an extravert with introvert tendencies. He’s righteous and resilient but above all caring.
Played by Nico. Portrayed by Manish Dayal

meet ESMERAY YAMAN
Hey, isn’t that ESMERAY YAMAN. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WEREWOLF, and have a connection to PACKLESS? What I do know for certain is that they’re 27, and they’re INTUITIVE  and VINDICTIVE. They’re originally from KARS, TURKEY, and have been in back to FENRIRSWOOD for ONE WEEK living in FENWAY. I wonder if they still work at THE MEAN DUCK as a BARTENDER. Best if they stay safe for now.
esmeray was adopted fresh from the hospital of fenrir central and her new family moved away. they were a happy human couple, engrossed with the supernatural but no real passion to become a member of the community themselves, instead they put in place an agreement...
when she got old enough to understand what love vs interest and studying  was, she realized her family looked at her less like a daughter and more like a trophy - a doll. the decade old agreement finally made an appearance, on her thirteenth birthday they introduced her to her biological mother. a werewolf who was completing their contract, for taking the infant off her hands she would turn her when the yamans called.
they were convinced this was their chance to be something special - what would be more special than raising a werewolf? since that moment she's not only hated her adopted family but her biological mother. there was no bonding between the only other werewolf she'd met, there was no connection to her parents anymore, feeling like a prize to show off rather than a member of the family.
finally as an adult she escaped the clutches of the yamans, convincing them she was going to college - they prepped her with all the essentials only for her to disappear. she changed her number, took out all her savings and returned to fenrirswood, a place she'd only ever heard about. somewhere meant to be home.

meet YSABELLE SASTRE
Hey, isn’t that YSABELLE SASTRE. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WITCH. What I do know for certain is that they’re 33, and they’re PLAYFUL and ERRATIC. They’re originally from FRIGILIANA, SPAIN, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for SIX DAYS living in FORK’S ROAD. I wonder if they still work at LORD WOODS as a PARK RANGER. Best if they stay safe for now.
Tw. Child neglect, murder.
Ysabelle and Leandro Sastre were unfortunately born to people who should have not decided to have children. Their parents consisted of an alcoholic, neglectful father and a workaholic, naïve mother. Both parents had great magic in their veins and instead of nurturing the magic and passing it down to their children, they abandoned who they were. It wasn’t an easy life, nor was it the most difficult one, either. The Sastre siblings used their imagination to get through the long days and nights. Despite the age gap between the siblings, they were each other's shoulder to lean on. They helped each other through many turbulent times. Especially when Leandro acted as a human shield when it came to Ysabelle. He was her guardian and for as long as she could remember, Ysabelle had only loved and wanted to be just like her older brother. Ambitious, protective, a challenger.
Ysabelle was still very young when Leandro was offered a chance to join a coven in Belgium. It was an unsuspecting, but welcoming change in the siblings' lives. The invitation came by mail. A friend of a friend who passed on the news that two young witches who weren’t in the best living conditions or in a safe space where they could practice their magic. Ysabelle and Leandro packed up what little possessions they had and left in the middle of the night, leaving their old lives behind.
When they arrived in Belgium, the siblings immediately felt comfortable with their coven who welcomed them with open hearts and warm hugs, it felt like the family they could trust. Their coven leader, Jintara Apinya taught them what they needed to know. Seeing as the Sastre siblings were so far behind than what most witches had accomplished at their ages, the coven thought it was best to utilize one of the most powerful witches to help train them.
At some point, Leandro changed. Ysabelle, looking back, can’t remember when this happened. But she did realize when he became quieter. Even defensive and aggressive with his magic. He never left his sister’s side and instead brought her under his wing. What Jintara was teaching Leandro, Leandro was teaching Ysabelle despite the magic being beyond her years. What Ysabelle hadn’t realized was what he was teaching himself behind closed doors. Leandro disclosed to her that he was learning how to manipulate spirits. Naive, like her mother, Ysabelle wanted to learn. She wanted to be just like her big brother. Jintara found out when Leandro had been caught one night, and he was immediately banished which led Ysabelle to resent the woman whom she grown to love. Leandro never once told anyone else that Ysabelle had also been practicing forbidden magic, so she was able to stay with the coven and continue her teaches. She hated it without her brother. She only stayed because she thought she had nowhere else to go and if she left, Ysabelle knew she wouldn’t have been able to survive.
Suddenly, humans became aware of the coven and what seemed to be in the blink of an eye, everyone was forced to disperse and disappear quickly. Before she had time to fathom her next decision without her brother to help her, Jintara and the coven that had vowed to love them abandoned her. Leaving her alone, just has she had always feared. Miraculously, with vicious and dark magic, Ysabelle made it out alive, but not without a few of her own scars. Afterwards, she travelled all over the world, mostly hiding under several different aliases, too scared of using her own. But she did her best to create a life for herself, despite it being so, so lonely. That was until she heard several years later that Leandro had died in isolation. That was when a flipped had completely switch in Ysabelle. She grew hateful and angry. Especially towards Jintara. She spent the next several years training, researching, and seething.
Finally, she found Jintara who was still in Belgium. She seemed to have a lovely little life with an adoring family. Ysabelle was hellbent on taking it all away from her. In no time, Ysabelle had intercepted a group of people who heavily disliked the existence of witches and struck up a deal with them. In the end, Ysabelle was the informant who told the group where they could find the Apinya family. Knowing that they were carrying out what Ysabelle has thought about doing for the past years.
Now, she’s in Fenrir’s Wood after hearing about the murders. Mostly, she’s simply curious about what the hell could be going on in a town that was supposed to be safe for supernatural's. Some would say that Ysabelle is out of her mind for moving to a city that has an active, multiple homicide investigation going on. Though, one this could be said about Ysabelle, and it’s that she’s never been one to shy away from the dark.
Played by Jas. Portrayed by Ana de Armas.

meet ASLI OZACAR
Hey, isn’t that ASLI OZACAR. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a WEREWOLF, (unaffiliated)? What I do know for certain is that they’re 33, and they’re INDEPENDENT and ANXIOUS. They’re originally from DALAMAN, TURKEY, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for NINETEEN YEARS living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at VELVET as a BARTENDER. Best if they stay safe for now.
Aslı was born and raised within a small village close to the Dalaman area of Turkey. As the village grew and became a neighbourhood and beach resorts started expanding her father made his money by opening his own restaurants and grills. After years of success in growing his business and owning a few restaurants he expanded into the main cities and eventually the UK. This is when, around age 14 Asli moved with her family to the UK. Aslı struggled with the move to a new country, the language and the culture. She wasn’t successful academically given that most of her education was disrupted with the move. It created a lot of instability within her teenage years and it was the start of her anxieties which she still experiences from time to time. Her escape came in the form of books, reading fiction and feeling as if she was transported to another world and living a different life with each new book she read.
The family settled in SUNE’S HARBOUR and opened their first restaurant here before expanding out to the cities. Aslı still works in the restaurant based in SUNE’S HARBOUR from time to time to help out, as well as working at Velvet most evenings. Whilst her father travels between towns and cities where he owns restaurants Aslı chose to remain within Fenrirswood.
Aslı's passion however is in writing and her love of literature. In her spare time, she works on writing her own novel, however free time seems rare lately. Aslı was recently bitten and is finding adjusting to being a werewolf a challenge and something which she is struggling to come to terms with.
Played by Whiskey. Portrayed by Demet Ozemir.

meet ZACH QUINN
Hey, isn’t that ZACH QUINN. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 37, and they’re CONFIDENT and GULLIBLE. They’re originally from MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 6 MONTHS living in GRANT PARK. I wonder if they still work at STARSTRUCK as a BARTENDER. Best if they stay safe for now.
- Zach comes from a well off family in Australia. He has only really known a lifestyle where things are handed to him, the newest and flashiest tech, cars, and high end fashion. His childhood was good, he has no complaints. His parents were around, and he has a good relationship with them. If anything, he wishes he had siblings.
- Zach has been everywhere, more or less. After graduating with a degree in anthropology he decided it was time to explore the world and get more hands on experience in his field. To fund his “I’m better than a motel” lifestyle he picked up bartending to earn enough money for a hotel room while travelling. Well, either that or stayed over at someone’s house.
- Don’t let the bachelors degree fool you, Zach is far from the sharpest tool in the shed. He knows, but he also knows he’s good looking so, does it really matter?
- He has been travelling on and off for the last 5-6 years. He is ready to slow down a little, but not sure if he’s ready to settle for something permanent already. Deep down there’s still that globetrotter that wants to explore every corner of the planet.
- This man wouldn't recognise a werewolf or a witch if they bit him in the butt. He has absolutely no idea that there are other species around him, he's just happy to be included.
Played by S. Portrayed by Chris Hemsworth.

meet REZA HARRIS
Hey, isn’t that REZA HARRIS. I thought they were away for the summer? Did you hear that they might be a WITCH? What I do know for certain is that they’re 35, and they’re CONFIDENT and INSENSITIVE. They’re originally from WASHINGTON STATE, USA, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 5 YEARS living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at WIN GARAGE as a MECHANIC. Best if they stay safe for now.
death tw.
Reza was originally from Washington, USA, before moving to Fenrirswood, UK, when he was 7. He lived with his godfather, Miguel Cordero, as both his parents were presumed dead due to conflict within their community.
Growing up with Uncle Miguel wasn’t easy, as Miguel’s obsession of supernatural and occults grew day by day, so much so that he often neglected Reza’s wellbeing. Had it not for the kindness of the covens and packs, Reza would’ve starved to death long ago. Still, Reza was mostly left to his own devices, having to learn how to survive on his own. Because of this too, Reza had never received formal education, so he took it upon himself to educate himself at the local library program whenever he could.
When Reza was 13, he was brought along to most of Miguel’s ‘expeditions’ upon Reza’s own insistence and was taught a lot of things that a thirteen-year-old shouldn’t know. This didn’t matter to him, since he was always willing to learn something new, and he could spend more time with his uncle Miguel. But that too didn’t last long, as more often than not, Miguel often forgot of Reza’s existence in his tunnel vision of his own obsession.
Years passed, and resentment grew in Reza’s heart. He stormed out of their abode in Fork’s Road after their umpteenth argument. He took his readily packed bag and got onto his bike, driving off into the night with the rev of its engine signalled his parting. Despite his resentment, he still loved Miguel, though he could not bring himself to go back to Fenrirswood and came face to face with his uncle.
Until one day he received news that his uncle went missing from someone he knew back home (it was home to him as any other, he supposed), and they had yet to find Miguel for months now. After much persuasion, Reza agreed to return to Fenrirswood once again, though he wasn’t quite sure what he could do to help with the investigation since he hadn’t been in contact with his uncle since he was 17.
That was 5 years ago, and Reza still had no news about Miguel’s whereabout. Every trace had gone cold, and without new clue to lead them to the culprit or Reza’s uncle, the local police had no choice but to close the case. And in these 5 years, Reza tried to move on as best as he could, heavy guilt weighing down on him every time he thought of his uncle.
Played by Adi. Portrayed by Fattah Amin.

meet CLARA DE LAVAL
Hey, isn’t that CLARA DE LAVAL. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 37, and they’re STUDIOUS and REPRESSED. They’re originally from CHICAGO, IL, USA, and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for A MONTH living in GRANT PARK. I wonder if they still work at HOUSE OF DE LAVAL as the CFO. Best if they stay safe for now.
From a very young age Clara was 'gifted.' That sort of gifted that teachers insist to parents will get their child ahead if it is nurtured. That was what her parents did best, though nurturing was perhaps not an apt descriptor of the way they propelled their children to their futures. For Clara this meant private tutors, though unlike her younger brother who was removed from school entirely to focus on his own talents, Clara was enrolled into an advanced private school.
Perhaps it was a fanciful notion of the Lee family that love was found young because Clara readily fell for a boy two grades above her, the older brother of one of her friends. He was strong and smart and silly, only her family ever made her laugh as much, joy so strong it made her stomach hurt, but unlike her brother Clara never even had the chance to feel trapped in a marriage. Though he proposed when she was eighteen, applying for various colleges, the man had been drinking since his youth, ignorant rich parents combined with apathetic care givers and other adults in positions too weak to argue with parents that wanted to ignore said children he always smelt of liquor. Still Clara said yes, because she loved him regardless and she was young. She could get married and still go to Yale. It was a thought she needn't have. On a night alone in his own dorm room he drank himself to death.
Clara was never quite the same. Where she had been able to balance success and joy, doing both now felt exhausting and the idea of staying in the country lost it's appeal. Fortunately she had applied to schools in other countries and was able to get the blessing of her parents to attend Cambridge. It was hard to say goodbye to her sisters but especially hard to leave her little brother who had been a great deal of comfort in her loss, occasionally watching as he practiced, catching moment when no one else was looking when he would do something he should not have been. Still Clara wanted to at least find a version of herself not so tied to Chicago and the haunting memories.
It never quite brought her back to who she was but when her brother's wedding arrived she returned to Chicago with a date in hand. A man ten years her senior with stereotypically British teeth and an East End accent, perhaps even a bit prettier than her but he made her laugh, all evening. Clara had met him through a connection of one of the other students, all near on graduating they needed to start looking for work and the boy was heir to a couture jewellery company akin to Harry Winston, Clara had intended on sweet talking him into putting in a good word for her as an Accounting Manager or a Financial Analyst. He'd agreed for a date, as was the way at the time. Clara fell hard and fast, as was her way, and it could be seen by all at her brother's wedding. By the time she herself was being proposed to her brother was 'throwing his life away.' Without intending to he had overshadowed her happiness with his mess. She loved him, the silly boy he was, but it didn't hurt less that every conversation with her mother about gowns resulted in a reminder that her brother had covered himself in ink or caused such scandal, not to mention the reminder of the scandal she would have been had she married 'that drunk.'
Clara and her husband eloped, her partner sick of the tears she was shedding for her mother's tactless words. A wedding on a property his family owned with just their siblings, wearing a necklace her husband had designed just for the day. For all the trouble her brother had caused he showed up, as did their sisters. It was a beautiful day, just over a year later followed by the birth of her beautiful boy. Once again her siblings showed up to see their nephew but it seemed those were the days they all saw one another now, the prestige their parents had pushed on them pushing them in different directions. Clara moved up easily through a combination of talent and nepotism, obvious which was more important and her husband did too.
It took longer than Clara would have liked to discover her brother had officially settled within the same country as her but it took her son's own mental break at the 'nuturing' Clara had mimicked from her parents to realise perhaps she too needed to step away from at least elements of who she had been raised to be. The city had always been home but her son deserved to feel like a kid, to feel happy and so Clara convinced her husband they should move closer to her brother, the only person she knew in her family who had actually been able to evolve from the people they'd been brought up as.
Played by Paris. Portrayed by Megan Fox.
