CHAPTER 7 TWST SPOILERS AHEAD:

Has anyone ever took into consideration that maybe Malleus doesn't want to be king of briar valley.

Do you think he's happy bout his tremendous power, having people blindly worship him seeing him as some deity?

Yeah sure it comes in handy but look at how many restrictions it gives him. He can't go where he pleases without guards breathing down his neck. He can't express his emotions like a normal person good or bad because then his magic gets out control and people could get hurt. He can't have a normal life because people only see his title. They don't see him for being just malleus.

Much like in the Diasomnia trailer its portraying his crown to be his cage. He's now a prisoner to his title.

I believe the title "Ruler of the Abyss" isn't just referring to the valley of thorns but also the fact that an abyss is a void. It's lonely.

Malleus is also pretty young by fae standards so imagine him having to bare all that responsibility by himself. He didn't ask for it, yet it's expected of him.

This is why Yuu is so important to him. Someone who finally sees him for just him. A fellow student attending NRC. Someone he can be his true self with!

I know more bad stuff is gonna happen </3 but I hope we do get a happy ending.

Do you know how hilarious our first meeting with malleus would've been if he "Broke" into Ramshackle unaware someone lived in it and grim runs into him and is like "AHHH A BURGLAR YOU AINT GETTING ANY OF MY TUNA" and he explains that he didn't know anyone lived there and then the next time I see him after that I'd call him Mr. Burglar since I didn't know his name (for comedic purposes) :>
