Jess’s ‘bad boy’ label to me is so, so funny. He is constantly reading, works two jobs, saved enough money to buy a car—but he’s the ultimate bad boy in the town’s eyes. Let’s be clear, the most ‘rebellious’ thing he did was the chalk outline outside Doose’s. Boy did magic tricks for his crush, why is he labeled a bad boy? 😭

Luke - I hate the festive season
Lorelai - I love the festive season
Luke - *makes her a Santa burger*
Luke - I hate snow
Lorelai - I love snow *snow doesn't love her back, dramatically breaks up with snow*
Luke - *casually makes an ice rink in front of her house, for her to ice skate alone, just to make her love snow again*
Luke - Coffee bad
Lorelai - Can't function without coffee
Luke - *sighs but gives as her much coffee as she needs, whenever she needs*
That's it.
*sobs*

Nothing is funnier than the fact that when Jess told Luke he’d been attacked by a swan, Luke took him on a boat in the lake to look for the swan so that Jess could attack it and have vengeance.

When you really think of a young teenage boy moving from a city to a small town he’s never visited to live with his uncle in an old office, it really makes you realise how awful it is that the town treats him as a stereotypical ‘bad boy’. Of course he’s not super eager to please and has trouble trusting at first. Of course he’s going to test boundaries. HIS BOUNDARY TESTING WAS CHALK ART. Get a grip, stars hollow.
