Ship: Wheeljack x Starscream

Originally, Wheeljack had only wanted to steal the AI matrix he had caught wind of, but now he had a whole different goal. A crazed smirk slid across his faceplate once he spotted his new prize.

Sneaking was no science, but even then, Wheeljack was quite good at it, which was practical in more than just one case. The base that he was sneaking through at the moment was more on the smallish side. This fact came in handy as he walked through the corridors with the floor plan in hand. 

Despite the fact that he was ignoring the previously noted route, he still seemed to follow an invisible path. Wheeljack cast a glance at his left underarm, ignoring another split-off alley. The compass embedded in his frame seemed to move from side to side for a moment before stopping to point northwest. Looking back at the floor plan, he noted three rooms in that direction and thus started to sneak forwards again. 

Seeing as neither of the rooms was that far from his original goal, Wheeljack could assume that his soulmate was a scientist like him, a fact that excited the Autobot greatly. 

His goal had originally been to steal an AI matrix that was being kept here, but while scouting out the area around the base, he noticed his compass staying pointed at the base at all times. It had taken a great deal of self-restraint to not just rush into the base and find his soulmate. After all, no matter the intelligence, his soulmate was a Decepticon, a soft-sparked weakling. 

Wheeljack, on the other hand, would take good care of his little soulmate; after all, they belonged together. Finally, he reached the hallway with the room he had previously deduced to be the one his soulmate was most likely in. 

Throwing another glance at his compass, it very clearly pointed towards the last door. Looking forward to finally seeing his soulmate, Wheeljack subspaced the floor plan and instead pulled a small syringe out of his subspace. Just in case his soulmate wouldn't understand, he was just here to bring them home immediately. Silently crossing the last few meters, the scientist carefully and silently opened the door and stepped inside, only to freeze the moment he spotted the only other mech inside the laboratory. 

Disbelieving, he looked down at his compass again, but the compass needle pointed right at the seeker. His soulmate turned out to be none other than the famed Decepticon scientist Starscream, the mech that had rejected Optimus Prime and outlived it, basically the right servo mech to Megatron, and probably the hottest piece of aft the Decepticons had. Well, not for much longer. Soon, it would all be Wheeljack's. The thought alone made the scientist shudder with delight. 

Not only was Starscream more than he had expected, but it was also well known that he was a fighter and wouldn't just roll over. It would be a hindrance during the time he needed to make sure Starscream was used to his new home, but afterwards, he couldn't wait to see it. Good thing he'd packed the sedative. Having collected his thoughts again, he started to silently move forward.  

Starscream was deeply immersed in his studies; nowadays, he didn't have much time for simply inventing and learning new things. The demand for him, combined with his own hidden paranoia, keeps him on the move. It's not that he wouldn't help his leader and cause, even if there wasn't such a high demand. Over the course of the war, the Decepticons had become his family, and he knew many other Decepticons felt the same. Another reason he didn't feel quite comfortable at his current station. 

He was the only seeker and the only scientist around, making it rather hard to find someone he could have challenging discussions with. But he could deal with it. It was one of the many ways Megatron had ensured his safety as long as he was working on his latest project. Once he was finished and had secured his newest invention to the needed maximum, he would return to the main base. 

For a moment, a prickly feeling in his neck drew Starscream's attention. Scratching for a moment, he hoped to calm the feeling. Instead, he stopped his arm a little short of being in front of his face to check his compass. It had been surprisingly active during earlier breems, but seemed to have stopped pointing directly at him. For a moment, Starscream felt like chuckling at the ironic placement, before he noticed something else. A colour reflected in the glass of his compass that belonged neither to him nor the surroundings. 

The moment it clicked, he turned around only to immediately find a strong arm wrapped around him as he came face to face with the insane Autobot scientist, Wheeljack. There was a klik of silence before everything seemed to happen at the same time. Starscream started to twist and struggle in Wheeljack's grip, noticing the needle in his other servo too late. The sudden pinch in his neck was what alerted him and made him double his efforts to escape, leaving some rather nasty scratches with his claws in the Autobots' armor. However, it was useless. 

He soon realized that Wheeljack had given him a sedative. His limbs started to get heavy and Starscream began to struggle with keeping his eyes open, only to slowly get weaker and then drift offline. 

The last thing he heard before falling offline was a sickly sweet 'Sweet dreams, my perfect mate' paired with the feeling of being picked up by the other.

-well this is unexpected-

-the team found a stasis pod before bringing it back- although with a bit of hesitation due to some previous experiences...

-ANYWHO the last thing they'd be expecting for the pod to be FULL OF SPARKLINGS

-Ratchet is worrying his aft off about their health, he's old give him a break 😭

-Optimus and Bumblebee are worried for the sparklings, how long have they been in that stasis pod

-Arcee, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack is confused onto why are there a bunch of sparklings in a pod, sent to Earth

-i feel like Smokescreen would have been worried yet confused at the same time, he has no idea whats going on 💀

-Ultra magnus...well i think he'd be worried about the team's availability but also minding the fact that the sparklings also need someone (somebot-) to watch over them

-the bots would be more aware of their surroundings with how small and squishy and sparklings are

-more so when Miko was able to hold them 😭

-Thankfully Ratchet deduced that the sparklings would grow much larger than their current size...now to think of where to house them-

Decepticons:

-well well well what do we have here, a soon to be deceptico-

-im kidding 😭 (or not? Depends on said cons-)

-again they thought there was a relic in the pod, AND NOT A BUNCH OF SMALL SPARKLINGS IN IT

-bet most of the cons were to baffled to speak until Megatron tells someone to take care of this 'problem'

-Starscream would have the thought of making said decepticon army from sparklings, but probably forgot how hard it is to teach sparklings

-Soundwave would entertain some of them with his visor (the smiley faces, using his tentacle(?) thing by tickling the little sparklings)

-Knockout would check on the sparklings, probably let out a horrendous gasp or two from how dinged up the sparklings' paint job are

-Breakdown (lets assume he's still alive for the sake of this-) would help Knockout in the med bay

-We do not talk about Airachnid because we know she wont give a damn about those sparklings 💀

-Dreadwing would be confused on how to handle them, i feel like he'd be the type to stiffen up when a sparkling was handed to him

-Shockwave wouldn't really think much or spend much time with them, probably considered it "illogical"

-WE CANT FORGET ABOUT THE VEHICONS. BET THEY ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE SPARKLINGS. A bunch of light to the dark and gloomy lifes of said Vehicons

-Again both Knockout and Shockwave probably reassure Megatron that the sparklings would grow larger than their current size

Sire/carrier fanfics

sooo, I've been reading some bayverse megastar fanfics lately.. ones in particular where megatron is a sire of a clutch of starscream's sparklings. and it was just so fucking sweet reading these fanfics CAUSE Megatron wasn't the BEST sire, but he was trying and at times when his sire coding got the best of him. he was acting like a oversized mama bear. and what pushed it over the edge was the animalistic traits megatron and starscream adopted (Chuffing, vocals to call out to their sparkling) So I'm just hungry for more sire/carrier fanfics. lay them on me! I don't really mind what character it is. but preferably ones from bayverse,tfp,IDW and g1 (heavy on TFP)
